This is very concerning from a foreign policy perspective. I don’t think we have been this weak in a very long time. What are other foreign leaders thinking about us right now? We have challengers in this world. Will they be emboldened to make moves they might not have otherwise made?

I understand your concerns re: the "foreign policy perspective"; do we know which faction(s) of the ruling triumvirate are in charge of that slice of the pie? Might be easier to understand the real risks and likely capitulations coming down the pike if we knew that... My personal opinion of all of em are that they were stoopider than snot;; but they stole the election fair and square so... :: shrug ::

Previous staff and career bureaucrats thwarted PDJT at every step.

This administration will just operate with less tension.

It’s the same????

While yes the evil minions behind the scene are the same, but now they are totally free of any restraint or responsibility.

That is the difference. Where they might have thought twice at abusing their positions in the behemoth of the swamp now they feel total support and protection to ‘get us and get even’.

We can compare what Trump did FOR our country to what Biden is doing TO our country.

Here is a link dated Dec 31, 2020 that shows some of what Trump accomplished while in office. Not listed, but I think one of his greatest accomplishments was that he kept Hillary Clinton from being our President.

I guess my point was, PDJT's effort was just a speed bump on our socialist slide.

Biden is not the problem.

I think we're all in agreement.

Personally, imho, fixating on Biden or PDJT for that matter isn't constructive.

We have nothing to show that this was in the middle of an interview. They may have just been adjusting the lights or something else.

It looks like nobody is home, but he has always looked like an imbecile.

The last Admin at least had the popular assent.
The last Admin was at least TRYING not to inflate the value out of the money.
The last Admin was not beholden to China.
...not liable to try for a "Green New Deal" and thereby kill American Industry and technical ability.
...enforced the border for a continuance of "national sovereignty", protection of US jobs, protection of US Government largess from the Cloward-Piven effect.
...had protection of the US Military for US Interests - not SJW diversion, or Military-Industrial subsidy to industry.
...had Openness and Transparency - not surrounded by barb wire and troops.
...was at least a "counterpoint" to Marxist/leftist intention.

I could go on about the Cancel Culture - which might exist even under a Trump Presidency - but its inroads into American Lifestyle would be severely hampered.

A lot depends on the support staff any President has to work with; not just in the White House but in the various departments and agencies, esp the non appointed career positions. How often do the key government people there change?

Without some context, it's not at all clear what's going on in this video. No one is saying anything, they look like they're just waiting as if it's not yet time to start. This clip by itself does not indicate he's a doddering fool, although I think he is.

Let me ask you .... did you ever see Trump sit in front of a camera trying to remember how to speak, or what he wanted to say? Trump said what needed to be said ... no matter what. Trump was a gladiator in a pit of vipers.

Now ... what about China Joe? He’s a puppet of the foriegn powers wishing to destroy us. He can‘t put 2 words together without help.

Back when I was doing regular interviews, I'd get prepped well in advance. When you're all set up, you just sit there. Can't go do something else, don't dare move, waiting for the interviewer to come online, waiting for a sound check. So for the last couple minutes I'd sit there like Jill and Joe in the clip. If someone filmed me and then saved just that waiting period, I'd look pretty much like these two, except better looking.

I think bw's post 30 above yours make the most realistic assessment of the OP.

My point, since I've clearly made some people uncomfortable with my opinions in this thread are this:
PDJT was a speed-bump.
pResident biden is a " bump on a bisquit". (Dumb as)

NEITHER is consequential on a time-line bigger than 4 years. Though it makes me sad, that is the truth as I see it.
