This is a very good quote / Suggestion.

The darkness is not scary. The darkness is your friend.

Around 10 years afo I lived near one of the largest chunks of uninhabited woods IN my town. Was near the dump and had a nice salmon stream going through it. Lots of bears and moose. Decided I needed to do more night trekking and use as minimal light as possible. Best thing I can recommend is a pair of yellow 3m safety glasses/ goggle so you don't get a stick in your eye. Never ran in to a bear at night, but walked right up on a few moose. I'd wear camo and bug dope or sufficiently covering clothing & mosquito nets so I could ignore bugs and be as still as possible when needed.

Being out at night, listening to the sounds. Creeeping around knowing YOU are the top predator in this food chain. YOU are the bear the bears worry about... I mean go armed of course! It's really nice to know you can get around in the dark, the dark becomes pretty light (if you stay away from things that will dialate your pupils- and intentionally look away from tehm even at distances..) And fear of being out 'in it' dissipate pretty quick. It would be good to get night adapted before you need the skill.

A friend and hunting buddy, had a heart attack in the woods we hunted that evening.

After the flash light went out I searched by the full moon for him. Clouds would hide the moon, I had to slow way down. But the almost full moon kept me searching well past 3am. Finally found him, all was okay, besides he had some kind of heart attack.

Medical marijuana is legal there now. I grew up in Oklahoma and go up to Broken Bow frequently. It’s been almost funny to see how quick dispensaries popped up in such a small town.

It is surprising the number of marijuana stores that have opened all over Oklahoma even in small burgs.

Of note... my step sons state ID expired and in Oklahoma you need proper state and in date identification to vote. So he showed the old lady at the seniors hall/vote station his valid medical Marijuana card, and she held it up and for all to hear in the voting both she said, "that works, any valid state ID card is good enough to vote!"

Just a UBI..

BTW he's a conservative. Independent.

I think there was a story about 4 guys getting 'executed' maybe 4-6 weeks ago. Seems it was OK or N.TX - maybe someone is cleaning up supply/distribution issues??

Man accused of executing four people on Oklahoma marijuana farm arrested in Florida

He was arrested after a license plate reader helped track him down

OKLAHOMA CITY —

The man accused of executing four people on an Oklahoma marijuana farm was arrested in Florida.

He was arrested after a license plate reader helped track him down. The suspect is 45-year-old Wu Chen.

Officials knew who they were looking for but wouldn’t release the name until he was caught because they said he was considered extremely dangerous.

"Any murderer who is going to go execute four people and harm another person should be considered dangerous. However, this definitely was not random. This appears to be a very purposeful act," said Brook Arbeitman with the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation.

Chen is now in custody after nearly two days of a nationwide search for him. A warrant for his arrest was issued Monday morning by OSBI.

The state agency said Tuesday just before 4 p.m., he was arrested thousands of miles away in Miami Beach, Florida, after his license plate was flagged. Chen is accused of murdering three men, one woman and seriously injuring another person at a marijuana farm outside of Hennessey.

He allegedly held the victims hostage for hours before killing them execution-style.

"All of the individuals that are deceased are Chinese nationals. That’s complicating manners for a number of issues, including the language barrier, as well as identifying and notifying next of kin. So, that's a big reason why right now the victims’ identities are not being released," Arbeitman said.

Chen will likely face murder and shooting with intent to kill charges. He is currently in Florida but will be extradited back to Oklahoma.

Several years ago, while workin' for USPS, had a guy wanna use his "pot, picture ID" to rent a PO box. Told him I couldn't trust somethin' from a store-front operation a couple of hundred miles away any more than I would take a check-cashin' card from Joe's Gas Station & Bait Shop. His buddies all snickered and told him they knew it wouldn't work. Don't know if Kommiefornia issues a State pot ID.

OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) – The investigation into the four execution-style murders at a marijuana farm is growing in a game of connect-the-dots.

Now, officials say there’s been another arrest of the alleged “go-to man” for the grow.

“That license was obtained for that farm through fraud,” said Mark Woodward with the Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics.

Just two days after the quadruple murder at a marijuana farm in Lacey, the office of Kevin Pham was raided by state drug agents.

According to documents from the OBN, investigators linked the 10-acre farm to the business “Lui & Chen Inc.”

News 4 has been unable to confirm if “Chen” refers to Wu Chen, who was the alleged gunman in the homicides.
LOCAL NEWS: Traffic tickets show quadruple murder suspect in Oklahoma before killings

Pham, 46, is registered as Lui & Chen Inc.’s representative.

In a search warrant, drug agents said “Pham seems to be the central point of contact for the growers regardless of the situation.”

“He is tied to at least 63 other farms in Oklahoma where he has essentially created this fraudulent structure,” said Woodward.

The structure is known as a “straw” or “ghost ownership”.

In Oklahoma, 75% of a grow must belong to an Oklahoma resident. The other 25% can be an out-of-state owner. Drug agents say that’s where criminal organizations come in and mask the true ownership, which can be a challenge to prove.

“We can’t say for sure that we can trace criminal activity on the black market or money laundering. That is still part of an ongoing investigation,” said Woodward in regards to the Kingfisher County grow.

Meanwhile, drug agents say the ghost owner of this operation was paid $2,000 a month for each license, with no work involved. Agents said he has several.

Pham was paid $500 – $2,500 for each grow he’s helped.

Drug agents said on Nov. 21, “PHAM was contacted by individuals of a marijuana grow in Hennessey after a quadruple homicide had occurred,” and that “PHAM then contacted the 75% straw owner of the marijuana grow via the ‘Signal App’ which is an app that deletes messages over time.”

As drug agents raided Pham’s office, they found 300 packages of edibles ready to sale and more than 10 pounds of processed marijuana. Agents said Pham did not have licenses for those products. Agents also said they found four weapons, Adderall, and Hydrocodone.

News 4 tried to reach Pham at his office, however agents in the documents said “according to Pham’s employees, no one is allowed in Pham’s office.”

When KFOR visited, there were curtains covering the doors and windows.

News 4 also tried to reach Pham at his home, but no one answered the door.

As for the ghost owner, he has surrendered all his licenses to the OBN.

“Those licenses are no longer active. And so immediately, anything that’s taking place at those farms must cease and desist,” said Woodward.

OBN Agents are now going through all the grows under the ghost owner’s name to ensure they’re legitimate.

Pham was arrested on fraud and drug charges. He has since bonded out.

According to online court records, Pham has pleaded guilty to several second-degree burglary and concealing stolen property charges.

The OSBI said there’s nothing new to report on the homicide.

Near us was two large grows that was shut down over a year now. Their green houses and other equipment, houses, trailers ect...just sit out there now rotten and rusting away.

It's weird cause you would think OSBI should action off the stuff to help with clean up. And other environmental issues.

I have never understood why an expired license or passport is not accepted as a valid form of identification. It's still a state issued ID and that ugly mug in in the photo isn't my twin brother. So what that the registry didn't get their renewal fee yet....

Besides the obvious red flags here…anyone else slightly unnerved by the phrase ‘a tag reader flagged the vehicle’? Like holy hell, we really ARE being spied on 24/7.

Can’t we just have our legal weed without people trying to turn it into an international drug smuggling ring??

THIS IS WHY WE CAN’T HAVE NICE THINGS!!! :soap:

And this may be one of the reason for those Chinese cop shops being set up here in the US.
I knew about the buying of land, but this is the first I’ve heard of actual grow operations being staffed with Chinese nationals. Mexican and South Americans, sure, but Chinese?

I've been wondering when this would start.

One known chicom grow-op within 10 miles.

No clue as to how many out in the woods.

Own the night.

Sir, the incursion/invasion by the ChiComs has been ongoing for many years. Do you believe this to be part of their operations? Or, is this part of a Triad or criminal Taiwanese operation? Thanks for your input.

Who knows what they were putting into the soil or onto the plants. There had been a big deal about some tainted product that hit the stores sometime last year I believe. I saw it on the local news. I think that is when they tried to change the law to say you have to be a US Citizen to own the land and the grow business. Wonder if the Chinese gangs are starting to move in?

Oh, and I find it funny that they are saying they have a language barrier with the one. Go to Norman and pick up a few of his pals and I'm sure they can translate.

You may have a very valid point, Ma’am, as the ChiComs are the sources of major diseases, via Wuhan (and other places). So many sources, from news, books, and movies, that show different methods of delivery of disease vectors- too many to contemplate. Imagine their launching attacks from in Conus, using our land, and being “under the radar…” Sneaky bastards…

I do not get high, but you have to wonder why at almost all traffic lights you have those beady eyes looking at you from the lines holding the traffic lights up. Both directions. Why those beady eyes are on poles along the interstates? I realize that many watch for weather/ road conditions. But everywhere you go.

For instance, during our last snow event, I followed from Boise to almost the Canadian line cameras to see who was getting more snow. They are everywhere and just to give you an idea as you scroll thru these look how many are in towns at stop lights.

Here is the link to Idaho's 511 links. Many states have these links.

Judge denies bond for man accused in quadruple homicide

KINGFISHER COUNTY, Okla. (KFOR) – The man accused of killing four Chinese Nationals, at a marijuana farm in Lacey, made his first court appearance by video. New court documents detail what witnesses encountered the night of the murders.

At the Monday hearing, Judge Lance Schneiter denied the suspect, Wu Chen, bond. Chen’s facing four 1st degree murder and one assault and battery with a deadly weapon charges.

On November 20th, Kingfisher County deputies were called to the 10-acre marijuana grow in Lacey, Oklahoma. There they found one woman and three men dead.

Court documents listed the victims as Quirong Ling, Chen He Chun, Chen He Qiang, and Fang Hui Lee.

Investigators said Yi Fei Lin was shot but survived. According to documents from the Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics, they’re listed as the 25% owner of the farm. The OBN said the license for the grow was obtained through fraud and ghost ownership.

The documents show OSBI Agents spoke to a witness, who had only worked at the grow for 10 days. The witness said he was working in the garage when Chen came in and “Shot the ‘Boss’ in the leg.” Chen then allegedly held multiple people at gunpoint, demanding $300,000 within 30 minutes.

After the boss told his girlfriend to make a phone call to get the cash, the ‘boss’ told Chen he wasn’t doing well and “told the suspect to finish him off and the suspect shot the ‘boss’.”

The documents show the witness said Chen fired at two men who tried to rush him. Chen hit one, while the other ran off. Chen chased after him, but the document doesn’t say if he survived.

Back inside the garage, the witness told investigators Chen aimed his gun at the woman. As the witness ran off he heard gunshots.

Another witness, who had been working at the grow for two years, hid outside the garage while recording on his phone. That’s when he realized the shooter was Chen, who worked with him at the grow last year, before Chen shot at him too.

Two days after the shooting, Chen was arrested by US Marshals in Miami, Florida.

Prosecutors were concerned if Chen made bond, he would be a flight risk and escape the country. They also said he could put the witnesses and survivors in danger.

Chen’s next court date is set for January 27th at 1:30pm.

KINGFISHER COUNTY, Okla. (KFOR) – New body cam footage shows what unfolded minutes after the gruesome quadruple murders at a Marijuana grow in Lacey. News 4 has learned two of the people who were shot are tied to a 2020 shooting in Oklahoma City.

“We’ve got one injured and four deceased. We’ve got a whole bunch more buildings to start clearing,” said a deputy searching the 10-acre Marijuana farm, just 10 miles from the town of Hennessey, after authorities responded to a hostage call. “Body, body, multiple bodies.”
Judge denies bond for man accused in quadruple homicide

OSBI Investigators say four Chinese Nationals were shot in a garage full of unprocessed weed. A man with multiple gunshots was also found. He can be heard moaning and groaning on the video. He was flown to OU health.

“Get a bird! Get a bird started!” yelled the deputy, calling for a medical helicopter.

For hours, deputies, OBN Drug Agents, and the OSBI searched the 10-acre grow, for the gunman. The videos showed officials searched the multiple buildings and rooms, but only found things like chemicals, marijuana plants, piles of trash, and farming equipment.

“Got some concrete culverts,” said the deputy.

However, they could not find the suspect on the property.

Two days later, the alleged gunman, Wu Chen, was arrested by US Marshals in Miami.

Investigators said Wu Chen, worked on the farm the year before. On November 20th, 2022, demanded $300,000 in 30 minutes as a return on his investment. He allegedly shot four people and wounded Yi Fei Lin.

‘That license was obtained for that farm through fraud,’ Second arrest made in connection to quadruple execution on marijuana farm

According to documents from the OBN, Yi Fei Lin was the 25% owner of the farm. Drug agents said the farm was operating illegally.

Oklahoma County court records reveal Yi Fei Lin and one of the murder victims, He Qiang Chen, were awaiting trial for a shooting in December of 2020.

Oklahoma City Police said on December 8, 2020, a group beat up Jintao Liu on Classen Blvd. Then, He Qiang Chen ordered Yi Fey Lin to shoot Jintao Lui in the leg.

Liu’s wife told investigators this happened after the couple loaned He Qiang Chen money, then received “a plethora of threats” to their family. She called He Qiang Chen ‘the boss’ and said he and Liu were business partners.

According to documents from the OBN, the Lacey farm was linked to a “Lui & Chen Inc.” News 4 was unable to confirm if the He Qiang Chen and Lui are of Lui & Chen Inc.

Online court records show He Qiang Chen bonded out of jail for the shooting while waiting for an interpreter for the trial.

The documents also show investigators raided their Edmond home in January of 2021 and found 27 pounds of marijuana, ketamine, and $95,000 in cash.

Talk is cheap
There was a problem with a high pesticide content on the plants, and IDK if it is still an issue, but what are they putting on these plants or adding to them?

I use THC-free oil, and I use only the organic.
