California Dems’ hard-left turn could be the whole party’s future

How far left is the Democratic Party headed? Look to California, where last month’s state party convention went off the deep end.

The first sign of lunacy was the delegates’ refusal to endorse impeccably liberal Sen. Dianne Feinstein.

She lost out by 37 percent to 54 percent to Kevin de Leon, president pro tempore of the state Senate, who promises mainly to be obsessively anti-Trump.

Similarly, the delegates put former Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa last among the party’s four candidates for governor — even though he’s tied in polls of Democratic voters with former San Francisco Mayor Gavin Newsom, who came out on top at the convention.

Villaraigosa’s sin? As mayor, he supported charter schools and jousted with the teachers unions, rightly calling them “the largest obstacle to creating quality schools.”

Finally, the convention took a sharp anti-Israel turn, adopting planks in support of the Boycott, Divest and Sanctions movement and slapping the Israel Defense Forces.

Historically, the Golden State has been a harbinger of national trends. If that holds true, the whole Democratic Party is headed right . . . er, left . . . off the cliff.

I think this is the choice the Democratic Party has made. They intend to go full Socialist mode. They think that between the illegals, the refugees, and the snowflakes and SJW, they can create a winning coalition. Unfortunately, this will permanently limit them to blue state, coastal zones and major urban cities. The Democrats plan to get around that by pouring in hordes of illegals and refugees to vote for them. Again, that isn't going to work either.

The Democrat Party has chosen a path that will lead them into increasing all the negative trends that lost them the election is 2016. In fact, the Democrats are doubling down on stupid, partly due to the senile leadership, the radical base, and the delusional, useless snowflake and SJW generation. They will simply fade away, outside of the rotting cities they now rule. However, as all Democrat run cities, like Boston, New York City, Baltimore, Chicago, San Francisco and Los Angles collapse into Blade Runner status, even that won't matter.

The game is for the Republicans to lose. Since they are Republicans, that could happen. Still, the left is now reduced to screaming in impotence.

It is not a matter of the Republicans being adept at snatching defeat from the jaws of victory; rather, the RNC and DNC ruling parties are both on the same team, and against J6P and MAGA.

It is INTENTIONAL.
