This too shall pass.
I know we've had discussions about online pharmacies before, but things change over time, and I am not sure where the original discussions are, anyway. I need to try to find several specific medications online, preferably without prescriptions (going to be difficult -- hydroxychloroquine and oxybutynin, both for my daughter, and antibiotics for several uses). Or effective alternatives. I know I can find antibiotics online, and am working on figuring out which is best for what we need. The other two, for my daughter, generally require prescriptions, but her insurance is messed up and if I can avoid a doctor visit until we can get it straightened out, that would be very helpful.
She is having a serious autoimmune flare (she has lupus, among other autoimmune conditions); the hydroxychloroquine is for that. She has some on hand, but I need to get some more.
The oxybutynin is for her neurogenic bladder (can't go sometimes, other times can't NOT go), due to spina bifida occulta. I just portioned out the last of that bottle into her pill minders. Seems like there might be an herbal remedy for better bladder function -- if anyone knows?
The antibiotics are first, for when she has a bladder infection from needing to be catheterized frequently. Second, for any other infections that come up, like the brown recluse bite I had last year. I know I can get some antibiotics online without a prescription, but if someone has recommendations, that would be great.
These are all medications, or types of medication, that we've had lots of experience with and I don't think we need a five-minute to a doctor just to get a prescription written.
