Looks like the Swedes are trying to copy the US Media, someone picked up an object outside a busy underground station but they are already saying it "isn't terrorism" even though they probably can't "know" any such thing at this point.

One dead after Stockholm underground blast, police say no terror link

Police said there was no reason to believe the incident was terror related

One man has died after an explosion outside an underground station in Stockholm, police said, adding they did not believe the incident was terrorism-related.

The man sustained fatal injuries after he picked up an object, a police spokesman said.

Daily newspaper Aftonbladet said it was thought to have been a hand grenade.

Police declined to confirm that report, for which the newspaper named no sources.

"There is obviously something that has exploded strongly...But we will have to wait for the technical investigation," the spokesman said, adding that a murder investigation had been launched.

There was no reason to believe the event was linked to terrorism, he said.

A second person was injured in the explosion, which occurred at the Varby Gard station in the south of the city.

It and an adjacent square were closed while police carried out checks.

Hmm, let's see: A man picks up an object (Hand Grenade ?) that then explodes and it's NOT Terrorism ?

Just what is a hand grenade doing in an underground station ?

I'm pretty sure there has to be a "pin" pulled before it goes off, so who pulled the pin, was it strategically placed so that if it was moved/picked up it would go off ?

Perhaps the man killed was the terrorist ?

That doesn't say it "isn't terrorism".
It says they have no evidence yet, one way or the other.

Also, a newspaper saying it was a "hand grenade" doesn't mean that's what it was.
That's what they think it might have been.

Read the next line in the story:
Police declined to confirm that report, for which the newspaper named no sources.

Of course

Things explode in train stations and airports all the time.

Don't you just hate it when hand grenades spontaneously walk around by themselves and get all explody.

Gee, a hand grenade explodes, and kills one person, and the Swedish authorities claim it wasn't terrorism? Man, "they" are going to spin this warm and fuzzy Muslim theme no matter what the facts are. Ergo, a hand grenade is a terrorist weapon, and when it explodes and kills a person it is an act of terrorism. Oh wait, it is a case of workplace violence!!!

I tell you, Ragnorak Sweden's authorities have gone quite mad.
