Homeland Security officials today defended airport screening procedures amid a backlash of complaints that they are too invasive, but officials said that changes to some tactics will be made soon.
"We are doing what we need to do to protect the traveling public," Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano said during a news conference at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport.

"Adjustments will be made where they need to be made."
But with the holiday season fast approaching, some passenger-rights groups and pilots are protesting what they say are invasive procedures, such as physical pat downs, in which airport screeners rub their hands along the groin area. The screeners who perform the procedure are of the same sex as the person being checked.

"We’re working with the pilots groups, and we hope to very quickly announce some things where pilots are concerned," Napolitano said.

m. troy. This is not good. I smell a rat. Any time these 'people' get together, the public ends up on the losing end of the stick.

Saved, to glorify God.
We have no real men left in this nation to stand up and defend our honor and dignity.

America is becoming and behaving as a nation of castrati, (eunuchs) certified so, one man at a time, by TSA, at the airports.
Shame on you. You are not stripped of your clothes, you are stripped of your manhood.

It's all good. TSA finally got so outrageous there is push back. I'm not happy that they made exceptions for pilots. Divide and conquer. TSA needs a major overhaul, not just a small concession to stop the roar.

Nope...It's all part of the plan.

Hegelian Dialectic...Problem-Reaction-Solution... See the thread about the proposed TSA Biometric program.

We have them, exactly, where they want us.
