CRIME Obama's Speech about "Prolonged Detention" and "Preventative Incarceration"

In the video Rachel Maddow, of all people, exposes the underwriting and the meaning of this speech given by Obama. She highlights that he first criticizes Bush and his administration for overreach and illegal activity and then goes on to announce his administration will set up its own regime, yes he uses the word regime, forming its own legal system for imprisoning people for crimes they have yet to commit.

This is currently trending on my fb and it is from february of this year. I did a search but nothing popped up for me. I'll look again and see if anything comes up.

It's (her show) from May 21, 2009 (based on the fact they showed a NYT paper with that date and she quoted a passage saying it was "today").

I wonder why the liberals on my fb are up in arms about this now? A mess of them posted it and have been voicing their thoughts about it. Maybe it's part of the sea change I've been seeing. The whole monsanto thing really turned a few of them off.
