Supreme Court Rejects GOP Challenge to Pennsylvania Election Rules

BY JACK PHILLIPS
April 19, 2021 Updated: April 19, 2021

The Supreme Court declined on April 19 to hear a lawsuit regarding a Pennsylvania voting dispute nearly six months after the Nov. 3, 2020, election.

The court rejected an appeal from a Republican congressional candidate’s unsuccessful challenge of the state’s mail-in ballot initiatives, which is the final Nov. 3-related action to be dismissed related to Pennsylvania’s voting laws.

In a two-line order (pdf), the Supreme Court wrote: “The petition for a writ of certiorari is granted. The judgment is vacated, and the case is remanded to the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit with instructions to dismiss the case as moot.”

The decision is the Supreme Court’s latest rejection of a slew of election lawsuits that came before and after the Nov. 3 election, as President Donald Trump and his Republican allies attempted to challenge the results.

The suit, which was filed by GOP congressional candidate Jim Bognet, concerned whether the Pennsylvania Supreme Court exceeded its authority by allowing greater access to early and mail-in voting in Pennsylvania, which, he argued, circumvented the state General Assembly’s authority. Four individual voters joined Bognet, who ultimately lost his congressional bid.

The Pennsylvania Supreme Court had ruled in 2020 that extended mail-ballots could come in until three days after Election Day.

Trump and other Republicans have said that President Joe Biden had unfairly benefited from relaxed mail-in balloting measures that were implemented due to the CCP virus pandemic.

Bognet’s case was initially dismissed by the 3rd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals, saying that neither Bognet nor the other challengers had the legal right to bring the case.

“This case presents an opportunity for the court to resolve these issues in an orderly manner on full briefing and argument, rather than on the ‘shadow docket’ under the time pressures of an ongoing election,” David Thompson, a lawyer for Bognet, said in court documents.

Thompson then argued that the state Supreme Court “rewrote” election deadlines and said that the Constitution gives authority to “state legislatures” and not “state judges” to handle federal election laws.

“Although Election Day has passed, the disputes around these questions are not going away,” Thompson said. “This Court’s intervention is needed to resolve splits in the lower courts. Federal courts of appeals have reached directly contrary holdings for which parties have standing to bring claims under the Elections.”

Robert Wiygul, a lawyer for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, told the Supreme Court that they shouldn’t intervene in the case, adding that the Pennsylvania Supreme Court responded during the CCP virus pandemic and amid U.S. Postal Service delays.

“It is undisputed that the total number of ballots challenged by petitioners is less than the margin of victory in each of Pennsylvania’s federal races. Further, the vote totals certified by Pennsylvania do not include any of the ballots to which petitioners take exception,” he wrote (pdf).

The case is: 20-740 Jim Bognet, et al. v. Degraffenreid, Acting Sec. of Pa.

Robert Wiygul, a lawyer for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, told the Supreme Court that they shouldn’t intervene in the case, adding that the Pennsylvania Supreme Court responded during the CCP virus pandemic and amid U.S. Postal Service delays.

What they say is true: state issues should be decided by state level courts, either Federal or State.

What if the State Supreme Court as in the Trump Election cases issues a decree of "no standing" or otherwise fails to address the redress?

What Wiygul and the SCOTUS decisions (various) don't address is that the Supreme Court SHOULD be the ultimate and final arbiter of HUMAN RIGHT. If SCOTUS doesn't do it - who does?

Imagine if the Wiygul commentary above had read:

Robert Wiygul, a lawyer for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, told the Supreme Court that they shouldn’t intervene in the case, adding that the Pennsylvania Supreme Court responded during Lehigh Valley Whistleblower Case. The state Supreme Court ruled in Harrison’s case June 16, finding the Pennsylvania Human Relations Act does not require aggrieved workers to take claims to the HRC if they can make their case under the Whistleblower Law. (Ref: ‘It’s a big deal for Pennsylvania employees,’ lawyers say of state Supreme Court ruling in Lehigh Valley whistleblower case)

So where does Ms. Harrison take her case if she is overlooked in the Whistleblower Law? (I'm not seeing that Ms. Harrison pursued her discrimination case as Whistleblower. She probably didn't)

This is (was) a human rights issue. If a human right (such as non-discrimination or the right to free, fair, and representative election) is violated and the state does not defend it, where does one go?

Steve Bannon's War Room (Pandemic) Number 889 was seen this morning.

In it Mark Finchem reviews in person the Maricopa Sports Arena where the 2.1Million ballots from Maricopa County are being "recounted/audited."

The building is closed to the public. Armed guards. Think two layers of fencing separating the bleachers from the inspection area (No man zone.) Two cameras observing the Dem and Republican Counter each, and a third person observer/camera observing ALL. At least six counting stations (18 people.)

A full blown "system" to count and document ballots. Everything tracked.

Bannon says the Democrats are in full panic mode. Unlike Time Magazine where the Democrats proudly "this is how we beat you" and Time Magazine outlined only the "legal" mechanism of voter fraud. In Maracopa the Democrats are not saying much if anything, but throwing all the legal, systemic, slow walk stones they can in the recount/audit path. Methinks Maracopa Count may involve "illegal" activity - and possibly will result in jail for someone.

48 minute video. Maricopa like the last 10 minutes.

BIG UPDATE: New Hampshire Officials Will Select Audit Team Next Week – Forensic Audit Will Be Completed in Next 45 Days

By Jim Hoft
Published April 21, 2021 at 7:40am
windham-new-hampshire-seal.jpg

There was big news from Windham, New Hampshire on Monday night following the board of selectman meeting to discuss the upcoming forensic audit of the Windham 2020 election ballots and voting machines.

Ken Eyring at Granite Grok has a suburb summary:

BIG NEWS! Windham Officials Reverse Course: Will Choose “Windham Incident” FORENSIC AUDITOR in PUBLIC!

In short:
**
Highly qualified candidates were discussed and interviewed to perform the audit.
** The Secretary of State will choose the candidates next week
** The forensic audit will be performed within the next 45 days.

And local GOP official Dr. Dave Strang wrote us about the excellent developments:
The board of selectmen met last night and the first order of business was to announce that they have seen the error of their ways and now plan to deliberate and choose one of the three audit team analysts next Monday, in public, not in a secret, non-public session.

This was a complete victory for those of us who want trust and transparency. This was a direct consequence of the pressure that various groups put on them by inundating their email inboxes and phone system on Monday.
Additionally, three very qualified forensic auditors presented last night, Colonel Phil Waldron, Doug Logan from Cyber ninjas and Andrew Appel (along with verified voting). Jovan Pulitzer was not able to present but a resident of the town spoke highly of him and over half of the attendees voiced their approval.
This paves the way for the board of selectmen to choose amongst at least four, highly qualified forensic election analysts as part of the state’s audit team. They will make their choice on Monday, April 26, in a public session at a yet undisclosed site.
The Secretary of State plans to choose next week as well and those two analysts will select the third and final member of the audit team. Due to the 45 day time limit necessary to complete this audit, it must be finished no later than May 27. Stay tuned.
Thanks to the local activists who never gave up!

This is an incredible moment for free and fair elections. It would not have happened without the hard work of several New Hampshire patriots.

Elections Integrity Org Identifies 12,547 Illegal Votes Included In Georgia’s 2020 Election Results – Exceeds Margin of Victory In the State

By Joe Hoft

The people of Georgia need to stand up and demand their state’s House and Senate perform a real audit of the 2020 election results in their state looking at the validity of their votes using forensic analysis like Arizona is doing now.

We already have at least 355,000 invalid ballots in the state and today we can add another 12,000.

Look Ahead America (LAA) has released their Georgia Report documenting illegal ballots cast in that state’s 2020 General Election.

The public version of the report can be found here:

LAA’s Voter Integrity Project Releases The Georgia Report – Look Ahead America. If you are interested in seeing the unredacted report, please reach out at their website.

As noted in the report, the LAA identified six tranches of potentially illegal votes and determined after their review of the first three that there were more than 12,000 illegal ballots counted in the 2020 election. Here are their results:

LAA-Georgia-Audit-results.jpg

As the LAA notes in its report, they identified more illegal votes than the margin of victory in the 2020 General Election in Georgia.

In addition, we know that there are at least 355,000 ballots that were counted in the election in Georgia that were illegitimate because they lack the chain of custody documentation required by law.

An accurate audit should be performed of the Georgia results. What in the world were the leaders of Georgia doing certifying the election results in that state? They should be looked into as well.

MUST READ: Soros and Clinton Connected Arizona Sec. of State, Katie Hobbs, Is Preparing to Fight the Senate Audit of Maricopa County Rather Than Support Election Integrity

Billionaire George Soros and Clinton nonprofit empire dollars are providing their biggest bang for the buck in Maricopa County Arizona right now as their Manchurian candidate, Arizona’s Secretary of State, Democrat Katie Hobbs, prepares for the Maricopa County forensic audit to take place.

Hobbs, who was installed in 2018 at a choke-point in Arizona government, is that quiet Manchurian candidate, activated when the stakes are critical, in this case as the state’s Senate gets ready for its three-week-long forensic audit of the Maricopa County 2020 elections beginning on Thursday.

America’s fourth-largest county, Maricopa is about to go through a forensic audit of its 2.1 million ballots led by four audit teams selected by the AZ Senate. Senate President Karen Fann described the audit’s scope in a March 18 press release as being “broad and detailed: the team will include, but is not limited to, testing the machines, scanning the ballots, performing a full hand count and checking for any IT breaches.

The national Democratic machine will do anything to stop this audit. Their desperation is now out in the open and they are losing their minds.

They sent a very threatening e-demand letter on April 6 to the four audit teams via Hillary consigliere Marc Elias’s firm, Perkins Coie. The letter was sent by a hit squad led by an activist, progressive nonprofit – Elias’s favorite hammer – the Protect Democracy Project, and backed by two additional law firms, Coppersmith Brockelman in Phoenix and Barton Mendez Soto in Tempe.

When this letter wasn’t enough, Marc Elias entered the picture. He alerted his gigantic national activist network of 400+ radical, Democrat-controlled nonprofits and 40,000+ eager progressive lawyers that there was action in Maricopa that needed watching. He also connected these SJWs up to the powerful progressive media network in Arizona, reporter Howard Fischer’s Capitol Media Services network.

1619036335522.png

Perkins Coie and Elias were responsible for the discredited and failed Fusion GPS/Steele Dossier hit upon candidate Donald Trump back in 2016 on behalf of the DNC and Hillary Clinton’s campaign.

Still not enough of a threat, the Democrats must be working behind the scenes with their ANTIFA/BLM mob network in Seattle and Portland and alerted them to be ready to hightail it to Arizona. General Flynn warned of this last week:

1619036295826.png
George Soros dollars follow Marc Elias. In 2016, Soros, according to Influence Watch, “gave at least $5 million to Elias and his firm to challenge what left-wing activists allege to be restrictions that deter Democrats and left-wing constituencies from voting.” In 2017, Soros gifted $5 million to the Priorities USA super PAC, after Elias had joined that board.

With the Democrats’ backs to the wall, they finally deployed their ace in the hole, a high-ranking Democratic public official with the legal elections’ muscle to throw a monkey-wrench into this audit and derail it. That person, that Manchurian candidate, is none other than Arizona’s Chief Election Official, Secretary of State, Katie Hobbs.

At this critical moment in Arizona and United States’ history, a Soros/Clinton puppet who was supported in her Arizona Secretary of State (SoS) election back in 2018 by both Soros’s secretive, progressive billionaires’ club, the Democracy Alliance, and the massive Clinton nonprofit empire, Onward Together, can hold Maricopa County, the AZ Senate and the country hostage.

Katie Hobbs ran for Arizona SoS in 2018, her first run, and won. She was explicitly promoted by iVOTE, yet another Soros-founded nonprofit conglomerate that was specifically set up to endorse and elect progressive, Democrat Secretaries of State.

George Soros, who has meticulously planned over decades how he will secretly dismantle our capitalist society, build a massive progressive infra-structure, in order to quietly dismantle our Constitutional Republic and replace it with a socialist nightmare, has targeted elected offices that have a strategic, choke-hold position in our American communities. County DAs control indictments and prosecutions; Attorney Generals are states’ chief law enforcement officers and SoS’s control the entire election system in a state! All of these elected officials can ensure the implementation of socialist laws and regulations.

Matthew Vadum, now an Epoch Times columnist who for decades has covered crooked and corrupt U.S. nonprofits and foundations, informed the public in 2009 about Soros’ newest plans to sabotage America:
A group backed by Soros is gearing up to steal the 2012 election for President Obama and congressional Democrats by installing left-wing Democrats as secretaries of state across the nation. From such posts, secretaries of state can help tilt the electoral playing field … The vehicle for this planned hijacking of democracy is a below-the-radar non-federal “527” group called the Secretary of State Project [SoSP].
In 2014, Vadum updated us about the SoSP:
George Soros’s election-rigging project is back from the dead. The Secretary of State Project (SoSP) … that went dormant two years ago, has been reincarnated as iVote…

… iVote is a “PAC of grassroots activists and veterans of the campaigns of last three Democratic nominees … Like SoSP, iVote is trying to help left-wing candidates, who think voter fraud is a figment of your imagination, become elected as secretaries of state in states across the country, where they can then change election rules to discriminate against Republicans.
[We’ve already written about Michigan SoS Jocelyn Benson (D), who was backed by the Soros SoSP. Look at the mayhem she has caused during and after that swing state’s 2020 election.]
1619036242053.png

iVOTE Fund’s website is explicit about its purpose:
Secretaries of State: If we want the Resistance to succeed we have to elect Democratic voting rights champions in to this critical office.
Here is Hobbs’ featured on her 2018 iVOTE webpage:
Now more than ever we need to elect Democratic Secretaries of State in order to secure voting rights for all citizens. In 2018, iVote is zeroing in on this key office in swing states and across the nation. Electing those who will fight to ensure Republicans can no longer bar certain people from the ballots is crucial to our democracy.
The iVOTE Fund was specifically endorsed and financially supported by Hillary Clinton’s massive nonprofit cabal, Onward Together, starting in late 2017.

Because OT and iVOTE donations are funneled through the Democrat’s ActBlue platform, it is impossible to figure out how much in donations Hobbs may have received from OT and from iVOTE for her 2018 campaign. Featured on Clinton’s OT webpage, Hobb’s likely got a lot of money though iVOTE.

The iVOTE Fund itself is part of a massive, co-mingled, nonprofit corporate architecture which democrats always build to obscure financial donors, transactions, and purposes: the iVOTE Action Fund, an unauthorized Super PAC; iVOTEINC (501(c)(4) ); iVOTE Civic Education Fund (501(c)(3) ).

We know from Hobbs’ AZ State Financial Disclosure Form that she accepted an unknown amount in gifts from the ‘State Innovation Exchange’ which “receives funding from the Democracy Alliance, which bundles large contributions from wealthy donors including George Soros and Tom Steyer.

Alarmingly, Hobbs has also accepted money from foreign governments, which needs to be investigated, given that there may well prove to have been foreign influence in our 2020 election!

This progressive AZ SoS was hand-picked and blessed by the national Democratic machine and its vast nonprofit money laundering operation. Of course, she won her election in 2018.

How much in-campaign contributions did Hobbs end up getting from the Clinton/Soros empires? Who knows! Nonprofit corporate mechanisms are the perfect money-laundering machines and the Dems have perfected the art of the steal.

So, Hobbs is AZ SoS and here we are at a chokehold moment 2 ½ years later, and this Clinton/Soros Manchurian Candidate is about to unleash something which could stop the AZ Senate’s forensic audit dead in its tracks.

What has Hobbs, this wolf in sheep’s clothing, been up to?

On April 1, Hobbs sent a letter to the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors (MCBOS) just before these five Supervisors had scheduled a 10:00 AM, secret, closed-door, emergency meeting, which is absolutely in violation of open meetings’ laws. In her letter, she twisted the intent of the Senate, which is to remain hands-off during the audit, as “abdicating any responsibility or engagement in the audit process,” and “dangerous and irresponsible.” She utterly trashed the Senate’s lead firm, Cyber Ninjas as well as Jovan Hutton Pulitzer, and made this pronouncement, “Even if some previously harbored hope that this audit would build voter confidence, it should be clear now that the Senate has chosen another path. They’ve prioritized conspiracy overconfidence.
Hobbs ended by giving the MCBOS unmistakable marching orders for their secret meeting:
“…this morning, I asked Attorney General Brnovich’s Office to advise me of any legal options the Secretary of State may have to protect the integrity of our system and out voters’ confidence in it. But the County’s options in this regard are undoubtedly clearer than my Office’s. As you meet today, I ask that you carefully consider every option, and do what is necessary to protect our voters and our democracy.”
Did Hobbs, as the state’s allegedly nonpartisan Chief Elections Officer in charge of championing, preserving, protecting and defending election integrity for all the people, contact this Board to sanction them for their repeated, egregious violations of the chain of custody of the 2.1 million ballots in their safekeeping? Nope, Hobbs was silent!
1619035951180.png

It remains to be seen what the MCBOS decided in their secret meeting which certainly the SoS was privy to. We know their agenda, which was posted less than a day before the meeting: the Board “may consider: Legal advice regarding Board responsibilities and authority re: Elections, election equipment, audits, Senate subpoenas, and litigation.

Clearly, this Soros-backed SoS views the Arizona Senate – and the Maricopa and Arizona citizens demanding this audit – as her adversaries and this corrupt MCBOS as her ally, for why else would she signal to that Board – which, by the way, is facing recall by angry Maricopa citizens – to “do what is necessary”?!

Seven days ago, the Arizona Daily Independent reported that SoS Hobbs actually got approval from the Arizona AG, to “retain private legal services.” The Independent stated:
Another wild card in the audit process is Arizona Secretary of State Katie Hobbs, who was recently given a green light by Arizona Attorney General Mark Brnovich to retain private legal services to see how her office might challenge the Senate’s plans.

Hobbs is considered the state’s chief elections officer. She wrote to the Maricopa County supervisors earlier this month of her concern with Fann’s selection of Cyber Ninjas. The choice, wrote Hobbs, “made it clear that the Senate has no intention of conducting an independent audit or ensuring the ongoing security and confidentiality of Maricopa County’s ballots and voting equipment.”
This Clinton/Soros puppet SoS is readying the state of Arizona for a legal fight between her office and the Arizona Senate using taxpayer dollars!

You would think that a Chief Election Official would welcome a comprehensive forensic audit, one that would either validate the integrity of the election processes in Maricopa or would reveal the weaknesses and problems, which her office could then help repair.

What are SoS Hobbs’ reasons for this potential lawsuit? Are her actions supported by Arizona Republican Governor Ducey?

This Secretary of State’s actions are very concerning and simply mind-blowing!

EXCLUSIVE: Arizona’s Soros-Backed Sec. of State, Katie Hobbs, Has Blaring Conflicts of Interest With Senate’s Maricopa Audit, She Must Immediately Recuse Herself

By Joe Hoft
Published April 21, 2021 at 9:37am
Katie-Hobbs-2.jpg

At a crisis moment in not only Maricopa County and Arizona, but for our country as a whole, the elected official who has the absolute power to defend our Constitution from enemies both foreign and domestic and who could champion election integrity, honesty, and transparency has instead chosen to viciously attack those she should support.

This individual is Arizona Secretary of State, Katie Hobbs.

We reported on SoS Hobbs previously when she labeled supporters of President Trump ‘Neo-Nazis’:
1619036562944.png
We also reported this morning on her numerous connections to George Soros, the Clintons, and ‘far-left non-profits’ used for Democrat causes:

In addition to the connections to corrupt individuals and politicians, we have uncovered one of her relationships that should force her to recuse herself from activities surrounding the Senate’s audit of Maricopa County’s 2020 election results.

A shocking connection has been uncovered between Katie Hobbs and one of the attorneys who signed that Perkins Coie, et.al., April 6 e-demand letter.
That lawyer is Roopali Desai from the Phoenix law firm of Coppersmith Brockelman, whose bio states she “heads the firm’s Election and Political Law group and is the leading election lawyer in Arizona … including bringing and defending election challenges.” She has served on the board of the AZ chapter of the radical, far-left nonprofit, the ACLU for the last six years.

Desai is the very same attorney who represented SoS Hobbs in a case against the Trump Campaign in Maricopa County in November. The campaign wanted ballots in Maricopa examined and hand-counted. Howard Fischer in the Arizona Capitol Times stated that Desai accused the Trump campaign of having an ulterior motive in filing suit. She said it is trying to “present claims of fraud untethered from reliable and admissible evidence.”

Desai is clearly a part of the national stable of activist, progressive attorneys which Mark Elias’s Perkins Coie – and also Arizona SoS Katie Hobbs – can and have called upon when they have to prevent ethical, factual, transparent election audits from going forward.

Notably, Desai also served on the Transition Team for Katie Hobbs’ SoS election win in 2018.

All the key players in this Arizona battle were funded by George Soros and/or his networked empire: Perkins Coie, Marc Elias’s nonprofit, Katie Hobbs. All have fundamental connections to Hillary Clinton. All are fighting against election integrity and transparency and the AZ Senate’s Maricopa County forensic audit. They want it to be stopped dead in its tracks.

On top of this, yesterday Steve Bannon alerted us that the WarRoom Pandemic is waiting to get confirmation that Dominion Voting Systems and a team of 70 lawyers from Perkins Coie are filing a Temporary Restraining Order (TRO) to halt the Arizona Senate’s forensic audit.
Maricopa, Arizona’s largest county representing over 60 percent of the state’s registered voters, was the only county in Arizona to utilize Dominion machines and those voting machines will be tested as part of the Senate’s audit.
Seventy lawyers! Looks like somebody doesn’t want their Dominion machines tested.

With this TRO confirmed, we will have proof that Perkins Coie is defending not only the Democratic machine’s legal threats in Arizona, it is also defending Dominion Voting Systems!

The big guns are out in this western state. All eyes in America on this one county, Maricopa, and the first forensic audit of a contested county from the November 3, 2020 election. All eyes are on the patriots in Arizona, from the fearless Arizona Senate and its President, Karen Fann, to the Senate’s four forensic audit teams and all the volunteer observers, and on each and every Maricopa and Arizona citizen who repeatedly demanded of their legislators that this forensic audit must go forward.

With all this going on it is imperative that all involved in the audit have independence and objectivity. Because SoS Hobbs has personal connections to lawyers and firms already inserting themselves in this audit, the right, proper and legal thing for SoS Hobbs to do is to recuse herself from anything related to the Senate’s audit of Maricopa County. Arizona should demand her recusal.

Ted Cruz Grills Stacey Abrams as She Continues to Claim 2018 Election Was Stolen From Her (VIDEO)

By The Scoop
Published April 21, 2021 at 10:46am
Untitled-4-1.jpg

Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) managed to get Stacey Abrams to admit that the 2018 Georgia gubernatorial election was stolen.

Sen. Cruz asked Abrams, “Yes or no, do you still maintain the 2018 election was stolen?”

Abrams said the election ‘was stolen from the voters of Georgia.’

After her 2018 Election Loss, Abrams Claimed Voter Suppression.

“I acknowledge that former Secretary of State Brian Kemp will be certified as the victor in the 2018 gubernatorial election,” Abrams stated in 2018. “But to watch an elected official who claims to represent the people in this state baldly pin his hopes for election on suppression of the people’s democratic right to vote has been truly appalling.”

The 2018 results for Georgia state Governor shows that Gov. Kemp won with 1,978,408 votes and Abrams had 1,923,685 votes.

Even after Abrams’ loss, she did not concede and told supporters to wait for full counts of absentee ballots to ‘narrow the gap’ according to a report from Vox.

“The unofficial election results show Kemp with a lead of more than 63,000 votes – a gap Abrams has closed from 75,000 since election night – in an election where nearly 4 million ballots were cast. In Georgia, a runoff is triggered when neither candidate secures 50% plus one vote, which Abrams’s team claimed could happen if she gains 25,632 votes,” according to a 2018 report from The Guardian.

Abrams has dismissed accusations from Georgia’s secretary of state comparing her 2018 refusal to concede to former President Trump who did the same.

“Abrams pushed back against that assertion on CNN, noting that hundreds of thousands of voters were purged from state voter rolls before her race went to the ballot box,” The Hill found.

Video below shows Senator Ted Cruz pressing Stacey Abrams where she said the election was “stolen from the voters of Georgia. We do not know what they would have done because not every eligible Georgian was permitted to participate fully in the election.”

Senator Ted Cruz noted that 56.3% Black Georgian’s voted in the 2018 election for governor and they had the highest registration and highest turnout in 2018.

Montana Governor Signs 2 Election Integrity Bills; Democrats Sue, Claiming ‘Voter Suppression’

April 21, 2021 7:22, Last Updated: April 21, 2021 17:49
By Tom Ozimek

Montana Gov. Greg Gianforte, a Republican, has signed into law two election integrity bills—one that tightens voter ID requirements and the other eliminating Election Day registration—prompting Democrats to sue, claiming “voter suppression.”

House Bill 176 moves the deadline for late voter registration to noon on the day before Election Day, while Senate Bill 169 restricts acceptable IDs to use for voting, requiring some voters to present two forms of identification before casting a ballot.

“Montana has a long history of secure, transparent elections, setting a standard for the nation,” Gianforte said in an April 19 tweet. “These new laws establish new best practices to ensure the continued integrity of Montana’s elections for years to come.”

Montana Secretary of State Christi Jacobsen said in a tweet: “Montana sets the standard for elections across the country, however, there is always room for improvement, and voter ID and voter registration deadlines are best practices in protecting the integrity of elections.”

Shortly after Gianforte signed the bills into law, election attorney Marc Elias announced that a lawsuit had been filed on behalf of Montana Democrats.

“This afternoon, Montana’s Republican Governor signed two voter suppression bills into law. Tonight, on behalf of the @MTDems, we sued,” Elias said in a tweet.

The case, which names Jacobsen as the defendant, claims that both bills violate the state constitution and asks the court to block their enforcement.

The complaint alleges that the “new laws will burden all Montana voters” while specifically targeting young voters, the elderly, the disabled, and indigenous communities.

“There is no legitimate justification for these restrictions, much less any sufficiently weighty state interest to justify their burdens on the fundamental right to vote,” the complaint alleges.

Specifically, SB169 ends the use of student ID cards as sole proof of identity when voting, requiring an additional form of documentary evidence such as a current utility bill, bank statement, paycheck, government check, or other government document featuring the individual’s name and current address.

“The Voter Suppression Bills are not driven by any legitimate or credible concerns about the ‘integrity’ of the state’s elections,” the complaint states. “Instead, they represent the latest round of legislative shadowboxing aimed at imaginary threats to election integrity, and false accusations of election fraud orchestrated by those seeking to overturn the results of the 2020 presidential election, now weaponized by the Legislature to impede access” to the ballot.

State Rep. Sharon Greef, a Republican who sponsored one of the bills, said the legislation is about ensuring clean and fair elections.

“We are blessed with the right to vote in our country, but with that right comes responsibility. The responsibility of registering to vote,” Greef said in February on the House floor, ahead of passage of the bill that ended Election Day registration.

“To ensure good, clean elections, election officials should concentrate on one thing the day of the election and that is the election. We don’t want frustrated voters waiting in a long line while folks ahead of them are registering at the last minute.”

State Sen. Mike Cuffe, who sponsored the ID bill, acknowledged that Montana has secure elections but said the legislation is about improving the process and ensuring Montana residents are the ones voting in the state’s elections.

“Nowhere in the bill are we indicating that there is any claim of voter fraud or any wrongdoing,” Cuffe said in February on the Montana Senate floor. “What we’re looking at here is attempting to improve on the system, to make a good-sense process better, to ensure that all members all around the state can feel very satisfactory that folks who have signed up to vote are Montana citizens.”

Cuffe said in a statement on April 19, “Election integrity is truly the rock, the cornerstone of our nation, and voter ID is a key component in protecting the integrity of Montana elections.”

In the broader debate about election security, conservatives—and Republicans in general—have tended to argue that casting a vote is a privilege of citizenship that should be safeguarded with secure processes and restrictions, and that lowering requirements around voting opens the process up to fraud and abuse.

Progressives—and their Democrat allies—tend to argue that barriers to casting a ballot should be as low as possible and that the kind of security measures pushed by conservatives, such as stricter voter ID or proof-of-citizenship laws, amount to disenfranchisement. Progressives often frame the debate as between voter suppression and expansion, while conservatives tend to see it as election security versus vulnerability to abuse.

In the wake of the 2020 election controversy, Republican and Democrat lawmakers across the country have been pulling in opposite directions by introducing legislation that either reduces barriers—and guardrails—to voting or seeks to strengthen election integrity, which can also make casting a vote more effortful or burdensome.

The Brennan Center for Justice, an advocacy group that pushes for progressive policies, counted 361 bills in 47 states as of March 24, designed to tighten voting standards. At the same time, the group counted 843 bills in 47 states to lower voting standards and make voting more expansive.

GA SoS Raffensperger’s War On Coffee County

by CD Media StaffApril 20, 202107592
GA GOP Loses Its Religion Over Raffensperger Secretary Of State Office

On April 7th, Georgia Secretary of State (SOS) Brad Raffenserger announced his office would investigate three counties for failing to complete mail-in ballot drop box transfer forms in recent Georgia elections. The forms are required to be filled out to document transfers of mail-in ballots picked up from locations where drop boxes may have been installed throughout a county.

One of those counties that Raffensperger announced he would investigate is Coffee County. The problem with the announcement is that if there is anyone in the SOS office who wanted the truth they only needed to make one phone call to know there is nothing to investigate. Coffee County did not place any drop boxes in remote locations. The only drop box was located at the county elections office. County Elections offices have never been required to fill out forms if they receive mail-in ballots at the office. So, what was the real motive behind this obvious publicity stunt and latest example of disinformation emanating from the SOS office?

Secretary Raffensperger has been at war with Coffee County ever since the county exposed Dominion Democracy Suite 5.5 voting system security shortcomings and recount failures in the November 2020 election. In a November 11th memo to the SOS, the Coffee County Elections Board noted that any group of ballots can be rescanned multiple times. They further found that a lack of proper adjudication audit trail allows election workers to change votes in all ballots of a batch without detection.

Coffee County experienced Dominion tabulation failures when Elections Director Misty Hampton made three attempts to recount Georgia’s Presidential election and each time the system produced clearly erroneous results. The Elections Board created a December 10th spreadsheet that documented the recount problems. It showed the Dominion system produced 39 new votes for President during a November 30th recount without any change in ballots cast. After the board scanned 185 missing recount ballots into the results, the Dominion tabulator found no change in votes for any candidate. A third recount on December 2nd produced the same original results ignoring all 185 added ballots.

Dominion technicians were unable to resolve the problem and the Coffee County Elections Board certified original hand count audit results in conflict with a November 16th memo from Raffensperger’s State Elections Director Chris Harvey. Harvey insisted that Coffee, like all other counties, should certify Dominion recount results regardless of vote counting inaccuracies that may have been found.

Tensions in the SOS office escalated further after the Coffee County Elections Board presented their Dominion system concerns to the Georgia General Assembly. One board member testified to the GA House Government Affairs Committee on December 10th 2020. At the December 30rd Senate Judiciary sub-committee Committee hearing, the board provided two videos that were released from an Open Records Request. They showed Director Hampton demonstrating security weaknesses in the Dominion adjudication system that allows an election official to change votes cast on a ballot.

In their December 4th letter to the House Committee, the Election Board stated the Dominion recount “lacks credibility” because of its “inability to repeatedly duplicate creditable election results”. They added: “No local election board has the ability to reconcile the anomalies…” The scathing letter continued: “Any system…that is not repeatable or dependable should not be used”.

For the recount, the board noted: “To demand certification of patently inaccurate results neither serves the objective of the electoral system nor satisfies the legal obligation to certify the electronic recount”.

Instead of attempting to resolve these serious Dominion security flaws and recount failures, the SOS office opened an investigation into Coffee County. On December 11th, three SOS Inspector General investigators with guns and handcuffs showed up at the Elections office. Dominion’s top Georgia managers, Tom Feehan and Scott Tucker, met them in Coffee County but neither of them could resolve the Dominion recount problems. They were reportedly more upset about the adjudication videos that had just been released than the recount that had failed.

The investigation proved fruitless for the SOS office and the Coffee County Election Board continued to back Hampton. In early 2021, Raffensperger’s Inspector General Frances Watson attempted to have Hampton referred to the Attorney General’s office on an unrelated matter but the State Election Board declined to do so. Eventually, the County Manager succumbed to pressure from the SOS office and Dominion. He forced Hampton and her assistant to resign.

The excuse was time reporting, but Hampton, like many other Georgia county Election Directors, is a salaried employee who worked well over a hundred of hours of overtime for no additional pay from November through January to handle the recounts and audits that occurred.

The attack on Hampton and Coffee County is not unique. Raffensperger and his office have consistently attacked county Elections Directors who experienced problems with the new voting system Raffensperger purchased. On November 3rd, 2020 KnowInk poll books in Spalding County malfunctioned and caused a two-hour delay in voting. Elections Director Marcia Ridley told the media that the delay was caused by a system update on the evening before the elections. That upset Raffensperger, who personally called for her resignation. His office claimed that Ridley spread false information because no update was found in the audit trails. The Spalding County Elections Board backed Ridley though and kept her on board.

In the November 3rd 2020 Floyd Co. election, 2,700 votes got stuck in the adjudication process and could not be verified or published. Dominion technicians were unable to correct the problem and were forced instead to rescan all ballots from an early voting location to process the votes. Rather than determine what caused the malfunction, the SOS office called for the resignation of Elections Director Robert Brady. Brady had contracted COVID19 during the elections certification period and was unable to be present to help resolve the problem. Nevertheless, the Floyd County Election Board eventually capitulated to the pressure to terminate Brady. However, they never explained precisely what he or any other Elections Director could have done differently to prevent the Dominion malfunction.

It is one thing for the SOS to cover up security and tabulation flaws in the unverifiable, hundred-million-dollar Dominion voting system he purchased over objections from Georgia voters, election integrity advocates and security experts. It is still another, to attack county elections directors who expose the problems or are victimized by them through no fault of their own. The SOS office has sunk to a new low level of corruption and, as we mentioned in the 6th installment of our Election Integrity Series, it goes beyond just Secretary Raffensperger.

“They (the Democrats) Know That This Is a Corrupt System That They Have Been Trying to Cover Up” – AZ Rep Mark Finchem with Steve Bannon Discussing Maricopa County Audit

By Joe Hoft
Published April 21, 2021 at 9:20pm
Mark-Finchem-and-Steve-Bannon.jpg

Arizona Representative Mark Finchem was on the War Room with Steve Bannon this morning. Below are some notables from Finchem during their discussion.

This morning, Steve Bannon, host of the WarRoom Pandemic, interviewed Arizona Representative Mark Finchem (R) regarding the Arizona Senate’s upcoming forensic audit of the 2.1 million ballots from the November 3, 2020, Maricopa County election. Below is a condensed version of that discussion:

Senate President Karen Fann has provided strong, ethical, and fair leadership for the citizens of Arizona on this contentious issue.

Training will be taking place today and tomorrow, and the actual audit will begin on Friday and last for an estimated 40-day period, which includes the time needed to compile results and write the report.

Bannon has been interviewing Finchem on a regular basis since November 4, 2020, when our country went through the worst-ever case of a fraudulent, stolen election it has ever had, since its very founding.

Maricopa County, the fourth largest county in the United States and the largest County in Arizona is the first American county going through a detailed, secure, forensic audit of its 2020 election. There are at least five other states whose November 2020 election results are considered, by many American Republicans, Conservatives, and unaffiliated voters, to have been stolen: Georgia, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin, and Nevada.

Today, Finchem was located at the site of the audit, the Coliseum, Arizona State Fairgrounds, located just north of Arizona’s capital city of Phoenix. The audit is taking place in the ice hockey arena and will use almost the entire length of that arena.

The WarRoom Pandemic has the best, continuing, factual, up-to-date coverage of the fraudulent, stolen 2020 election of any broadcast or Internet medium out there, and Bannon and his team have regularly updated the public on what patriots – the deplorables – are doing, on the ground in Arizona and Georgia and to a lesser extent since January, in Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Wisconsin, as well as updates on brand new election issues arising since November 3, 2020.

For breaking news on the 2020 election steal, these three hours a day with the WarRoom are well worth it, if not vital for Americans who love their country.
Steve Bannon: “We did win and now we’re going to prove that we won.”

Mark Finchem: “…they’re finishing the set-up … This is set up for trying to process 2.1 million ballots in the space of forty days and every single one of them by hand.”

SB: “This is a hand forensic audit, correct?”

MF: “That is correct. Hand inspection and re-tabulation of votes.”

SB: “Historic day, the transfer of 2.1 million physical ballots, machines, all of it. Hand forensic audit, also re-canvas.”

“We can’t go forward ‘til we find out what happened on November 3. This is what it’s all about. Let’s find out, exactly, what happened on November 3 and this is how you do it.”

MF: “We have both uniformed and plainclothes security throughout the building, around the perimeter, the fence-line, we got rings of security … all of the access up in the bleachers, that’s all been cut off.”

“What I want to do is show you the level of security that they are going to have on this. Not only is there a camera that is going to be looking down upon every ballot that is looked at, OK, you are also going to have an overhead camera that is going to watch …this entire thing is going to be recorded. So, if anybody has a beef with the way it’s done … you want to talk about transparency, this is exactly what transparency looks like.”

“Once the ballots have been counted they’re going to be moved over to this side of the arena so that they can be returned back to the custody of the state treasurer.”

Steve: “This is just a massive logistics operation and Mark, I got to tell you, this is one of the reasons you should be secretary of state. This is incredible what you guys have pulled together. I mean for citizens to come together and do this … this is citizen inspired, this is deplorable inspired. This is people saying no, no, no, no, no. We can’t go forward until we get to the bottom of November 3.”

Mark: “President Fann’s done a great job and this wouldn’t be happening, this is not a one-man show. Senator Sonny Borrelli, the Senate Whip, and Leo Biasiucci who’s the House Whip, they’ve had a major role in this, in trying to push this forward.”

“You would think that the Democrat Party would not only be doing a happy dance, they would be saying, we’re going to get in your grill and tell you this is how we beat you. But they’re not doing that. In fact, they’re spending a lot of resources to try and fight this.”

SB: “There’s a lot of rumors out there that they’re going go into federal court and get some sort of TRO [Temporary Restraining Order], is there any anticipation out there that they are going to actually try to get into the legal system today and shut down this entire operation?”

MF: “I’d put nothing past these guys. They know that this is a corrupt system that they have been trying to cover up. Now, whether or not the corruption is incompetence or criminality, that remains to be seen.”

“The joy of our system is that the people have a right to scrutinize the election. You don’t see that in Communist countries. I’m pretty sure you’re not going to see that in Chinese Communist Party-land.”

“There’s an organization called the Guardian Defense Network and if people want to see more about that they can go to www.fightback.network. It’s a fairly new site, it’s a 501(c)(4), application in, if they want to give to help support this effort. Guardian Defense Fund has actually stepped up and is paying money for additional security at the site.

We could not get the governor to authorize DPS or national guard to give us site security, but we have security nonetheless. Private security firms, we have some law enforcement, off-duty officers, and like I said, some of them are in plainclothes, some of them are in uniform, you’re just not going to know who you’re dealing with.”

“Training will commence either late today or sometime tomorrow and then we’ll be off to the races on Friday.”

SB: “The forty-day clock starts ticking on Friday morning?”

MF: “That’s correct. Their target date is forty days so that they can have at least ten days to compile the information and an additional ten days to finish the report and get that into the hands of [Arizona State Senate] President Karen Fann.”

SB: “What’s the best way for our audience who are activists, they want to follow every second of this, what’s the best way to do that?”

MF: “They can follow me on Gab: azhoneybadger. They can follow me on Parler: markfinchem.

Most of this information’s going to appear in my weekly journal and they can just send an email to: markfinchem@me.com and in the subject line all you have to do is write journal and we will see to it that you get an opportunity to subscribe to it … I’m probably going to put that out on Sunday’s and Wednesday’s so that we can keep people up-to-date, but if there’s is a breaking piece that we need to get out, we’ll send out a breaking piece.”

SB: “Mark, thank you and God bless you and make sure you tell everybody out there the deplorables have their back, couldn’t be more excited about the work.”

Finchem’s discussion with Bannon begins at the 39:20 mark in the video below:

Key Senate Republican demands Capitol Police explain initial misreporting of officer's death

Sen. Ron Johnson

Sicknick

Memorial at base of Capitol Hill to Officer Brian Sicknick, killed in Jan. 6 siege.
(Just the News)

By John Solomon
Updated: April 22, 2021 - 3:41pm

Akey Senate Republican on Thursday demanded the Capitol Police explain why it initially reported that Officer Brian Sicknick died from injuries sustained in the Jan. 6 riot when in fact his death was ruled to be naturally caused by strokes.

"The death of any police officer is a tragedy and the use of any officer’s death for political purposes or to create a false narrative is reprehensible and disrespectful to the officer’s family and the officer’s memory," Sen. Ron Johnson, R-Wis., wrote in a letter to Acting Capitol Police Chief Yogananda D. Pittman.

You can read the full letter here:

File
2021-04-22 RHJ to USCP re medical examiner report - final.pdf

Johnson's letter specifically zeroed in on a Jan. 7 statement the police force issued claiming Sicknick died from “injuries sustained while on-duty after physically engaging with protestors” during the riot.

The senator noted earlier this week that the Washington DC Chief Medical Examiner Francisco Diaz concluded that Sicknick “suffered two strokes and died of natural causes a day after he confronted rioters" and that his body exhibited "no evidence of internal or external injuries."

Johnson, the top Republican on the powerful Senate Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations, also challenged subsequent reporting claiming Sicknick may have suffered a fatal reaction and died from bear pepper spray dispersed by the rioters.

"Dr. Diaz stated that Sicknick’s autopsy found no evidence that he suffered an allergic reaction to chemical irritants," Johnson wrote.

Johnson suggested the initial police statement and erroneous reporting led to a "false reports" in the public -- including that he was fatally struck by a fire extinguisher -- that persisted for three months until the autopsy findings.

"This finding raises more questions about what USCP knew and what actions USCP took to confirm certain facts regarding Officer Sicknick’s death before it released its January 7 statement," he wrote.

Johnson demanded the police answer eight questions including why its initial report of Sicknick's death was so wrong, why it wasn't corrected sooner and whether the USCP's internal affairs unit has been asked to investigate the initial inaccurate reporting.

Pelosi floats new proposal for Jan 6 commission…
Posted by Kane on April 22, 2021 2:12 am

WASHINGTON (AP) — House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is renewing her push for a commission to investigate the Jan. 6 Capitol breach, floating a new proposal to Republicans that would evenly split the panel’s membership between the two parties. Pelosi first proposed a commission in February that would have had four Republicans and seven Democrats.

The first draft of the bill to create the commission did not mention Trump, but Republicans swiftly decried the broad latitude to investigate the causes of the insurrection. They also objected to a series of findings in the bill that quoted FBI Director Christopher Wray saying that racially motivated violent extremism, and especially white supremacy, is one of the biggest threats to domestic security.

The Republicans said the investigation should focus not just on what led to the Jan. 6 event but also on violence in the summer of 2020 during protests over police brutality — a touchstone among GOP voters.

On Tuesday, Senate Republican leader Mitch McConnell said he’d had no discussions with Pelosi. He said the commission needed to have a partisan balance but also the scope of the investigation needed to be broader.

“We’ve also had a number of violent disturbances around the country last year, and I think we ought to look at this in a broader scope and with a totally balanced 9/11 style commission,” McConnell told reporters.

Pelosi and House Republican leader Kevin McCarthy haven’t even been able to agree on whether the Republicans have been sent the proposal. Pelosi said in her letter Friday that “ we have once again sent a proposal for such a Commission to the Republicans,” but a spokesman for McCarthy said Wednesday that neither the Republican leader nor his staff have received Pelosi’s latest proposal.

McCarthy’s office said in a statement that “hopefully the Speaker has addressed our basic concerns of equal representation and subpoena authority” for Republicans on the panel. Pelosi has said repeatedly that she will not concede to the Republican demands on the scope.

“It’s not about examining Black Lives Matter,” Pelosi said last week. “It’s about what happened on Jan. 6 and how we can prevent it from happening again.” As the commission has so far failed to gain traction, Pelosi has instructed several House committees to investigate different aspects of the siege. She has also said that a new select committee is “among the possibilities.”

BREAKING BIG: AZ Democrats File Last Minute Suit in Maricopa County – Attempt to Stop Senate Audit of 2020 Election Results Again

By Joe Hoft

Arizona-Maricopa-Co-Board-of-Supervisors.jpg

THE DEMOCRATS ARE TERRIFIED AND WILL DO ANYTHING TO STOP THE AUDIT OF THE ELECTION RESULTS IN MARICOPA COUNTY.

This really is no surprise. The Democrats and the RINOs on the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors (MCBOS) have done all they could to stop the audit of the 2020 Election results of Maricopa County. Tonight it is reported that the Democrat member on the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors, Steve Gallardo is suing to stop the audit. KTAR.com is reporting:

The Arizona Democratic Party filed a lawsuit Thursday aimed at halting the state Senate audit of 2020 election results in Maricopa County.
The suit, brought forward by Maricopa County supervisor Steve Gallardo, alleges the audit is led by partisan contractors hired by the Republican-controlled Senate.

Gallardo, the lone Democrat on the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors, said he was also concerned about ballot security and confidentiality.

“The sole reason for this lawsuit and injunctions is to protect the sanctity of the ballots and more importantly to preserve voters’ privacy from a sham audit that has been corrupted by agitators and conspiracy theorists,” Gallardo said in a tweet.
“This corrupted process will not be transparent, dark money influencers have hand-picked the folks to observe and witness the ‘audit’ that will be conducted by an uncertified and unqualified group.”

The suit calls for a temporary restraining order to prevent the audit, which was scheduled to start after the 2.1 million ballots were carted to the Veterans Memorial Coliseum on Thursday.

Of course, the creepy Gallardo waits until the last minute to file the suit. As we reported earlier the audit is ready to go right now:
1619152938510.png

The Democrats and the RINOs in the state have done all they could to stop this audit. They sued the Senate before claiming they couldn’t audit their results because the law says they must keep the ballots sealed. This was overturned by a judge and the Senate changed the laws to address this issue as well allowing the Senate the ability to perform audits of election results across the state.

Next, the MCBOS said they could do an audit but only if the Board selected the auditors. They said they selected two audit firms because they had a certain designation but we found that they did not:
1619152887596.png

They brought in the top Democrat lawyers last week to stop the audit:

1619152803482.png

And now we see tonight that they are using an attorney who previously represented the Democrat Secretary of State, thus there are valid arguments that both the Soros backed Secretary of State and her attorney, Roopali Desai from the Phoenix law firm of Coppersmith Brockelman are conflicted and must recuse themselves from the case.

1619152741828.png

Here we go again. The Democrats and RINOs are scared – they are very scared.

Arizona Senate’s Audit of Maricopa County’s 2020 Election Results is Ready to Go – WATCH LIVE from Your iPhone or Home Computer

Arizona-Audit-Cameras.jpg

This may be the most transparent audit in US history. The auditors selected by the Arizona Senate are providing video access to the world of their audit activities in real-time.

The auditors are prepared and ready to begin their audit of Maricopa County’s 2020 Election Results. This has been a long process but this day has finally come.

Today the machines and ballots were moved to the Veterans Memorial Coliseum at the State Fairgrounds where they will be audited.

They also set up nine cameras that will be available the entire time the audit takes place. For the next three or so weeks if you wish to see what is going on, you will be able to log on to AZAudit.org and watch the audit while it is happening.

This site will be showing the activities in the coliseum non-stop for the next few weeks.

We are praying that the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors doesn’t step in again and attempt to prevent the audit from happening. To date and since the election, they have done all they could to not make this day happen. They have even sued the Senate to stop this audit.

Also, last week we saw Big Tech prevent messages from being shared for volunteers to help with this exercise.

1619153588850.png

We’ve seen the media continue to berate those who demanded this audit saying it was not necessary while discounting the millions of Americans who believe the 2020 election was stolen from President Trump:

1619153550376.png
We have seen lawyers connected to the top of the Democrat Party interject and threaten the auditors for performing the work they are hired to do:

1619153526008.png

And General Flynn has warned that BLM and Antifa may show up and try to stop the audit:

1619153479026.png

The Senate and those Americans who wanted this audit to take place have taken so much heat to get to this point and they should be commended and given medals. It’s not over. Tomorrow it begins.

SHAME ON SPINELESS REPUBLICANS! Democrat Sen. Elizabeth Warren Speaks Out on Harsh Treatment of Jan. 6 Detainees in Isolation

Senator Liz Warren is speaking out against the harsh treatment of the January 6 detainees.

Republican lawmakers are silent and afraid.

What good are they?

Via Jack Posobiec.
1619154326833.png

The Gateway Pundit has written extensively about the abusive treatment Trump supporters are facing after their participation in the January 6 demonstrations.

Many of these people DID NOT EVEN ENTER the US Capitol. Several others were waved into the Capitol and then later left when they were told.

There has never been mass chaos or violence by any supporters at ANY Trump rally.

The few rallies that did see violence was because of leftist infiltrators starting fights.

Despite this many Trump supporters sit in jail today — held without bond and without being convicted of any crime.

Now Senator Elizabeth Warren is speaking out.

Via Politico.
Sen. Elizabeth Warren fled the Capitol on Jan. 6 from a mob she later called domestic terrorists. Now she and another Senate Democratic leader are standing up for their attackers’ rights as criminal defendants.
Most of the 300-plus people charged with participating in the Jan. 6 Capitol riot have been released while they await trial, but dozens of those deemed to be dangerous, flight risks or at high risk of obstructing justice were ordered held without bond. D.C. jail officials later determined that all Capitol detainees would be placed in so-called restrictive housing — a move billed as necessary to keep the defendants safe, as well as guards and other inmates. But that means 23-hour-a-day isolation for the accused, even before their trials begin.
And such treatment doesn’t sit well with Warren or Senate Majority Whip Dick Durbin (D-Ill.), two of the chamber’s fiercest critics of solitary confinement.
“Solitary confinement is a form of punishment that is cruel and psychologically damaging,” Warren said in an interview. “And we’re talking about people who haven’t been convicted of anything yet.”

The Massachusetts Democrat, a member of Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer’s leadership team, said that while some limited uses of solitary confinement are justified, she’s worried that law enforcement officials are deploying it to “punish” the Jan. 6 defendants or to “break them so that they will cooperate.”
Kudos to Elizabeth Warren and Dick Durbin!

They show more humanity than any Republican in Congress today.

Shame on these spineless Republicans!

www.azaudit.org actually is working and "alive."

It opens to 9 screens. The screens are "click on arrow" to open them to viewing. Once open they stay open. Clicking on the small opened screen further opens that one up to "full screen."

Many of the 9 screens are "multi-screen." Screen 1 opens up into four quadrant screens. Others are like this.

You can see a lot of the "personnel monitoring." For instance, screen 1 shows a person at a "corner" of the fence area. He seems in a blue uniform but I'm not sure if he is armed. This may be the "completed ballots" storage corral. Earlier the human was Black. Now he is older and White. Both were "bored" but "available." As in that is all they do - except looking at their cellphone.

Some of the wider view screens show the entire vote count area. I lose counting the number of vote count stations but they're at least 3 deep and 10 long, 30 or more stations. And each of these is monitored by three cameras - the view of these is not part of the 9 screens.

More cameras there than the finish of the Kentucky Derby.

Of course one might question why vote counting was anything less than this for the actual count on November 3. That is - one might question if they didn't know the "politics."

And, I take a look back at Screen 1 looking for the human "on the corner of the fence" mentioned above - and there is no one there!

And apparently I'm not the only being who is noticing "security lapses" in the videos.

There does not seem to be a way to "Contact Us" on the Arizona Audit - to somehow "warn" them? Possible lapses could be construed or even made into "actual lapses" and be mechanism to "taint" the count?

Count/Audit has to be flawless and PERFECT.

International Auditing Expert Shocked at Nevada Sec. of State’s Flimsy Review of Likely Election Fraud – Ignores Biggest Issue

By Joe Hoft
Published April 23, 2021 at 8:26am

Barbara-Cegavske.jpg

Nevada’s Secretary of State, Barbara Cegavske, announced on Wednesday that there is no evidentiary support for the GOP’s claims that there was widespread voter fraud in her state.

The Daily Mail reported yesterday:
Nevada’s Republican Secretary of State Barbara Cegavske revealed Wednesday she found no evidence to support the state GOP‘s claim of widespread voter fraud in the 2020 general election.
‘[W]hile the NVGOP [Nevada GOP] raises policy concerns about the integrity of mail-in voting, automatic voter registration, and same-day voter registration, these concerns do not amount to evidentiary support for the contention that the 2020 general election was plagued by widespread voter fraud,’ she said in a letter addressed to the Nevada Republican Party…

…Nevada was one of the states in 2020 that sent out mail-in ballots to all registered voters to try and combat potential voting hesitancy in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic.
Secretary of State Cegavske was censured by the GOP earlier this month for her actions surrounding the 2020 election. This was before she unveiled her pronouncement on voter fraud on Wednesday:

1619195153884.png

This lady is a real peach. She provides a response on Wednesday and claims everything is fine, based on a very cursory review of the complaints of fraud presented to her, and then proclaims that there was no voter fraud in Nevada ignoring the most egregious fraud-filled actions taken during the election.

Cegavske claims that her office performed ‘more than 125’ hours of work to go through over 122,000 instances of suspected voter fraud presented to her office.

[Speaking from experience and having done hundreds of audits around the world] 125 hours is a very short amount of time dedicated to an audit. Most of the audits performed in the private sector average around 400 hours, so her work was very cursory in nature and she proves it in her written response.

For example, in her report noted below, she claims that her team was presented with a list of over 40,000 individuals who were suspected of voting twice. After looking at some of the individuals and providing random explanations, the Secretary of State made a broad statement and ended her investigation (page 6):
…there are a number of alleged “double voters” who merely live on the same street as someone else born in the same year. As such, these additional 18,314 allegations did not warrant further investigation.
In another section (page 7) where individuals were identified with commercial addresses, the Secretary of state looked at 369 out of 8,842 identified record issues and moved on.

In another issue the report discusses voter rolls and deliberate actions by the Clark County (Las Vegas) Registrar to keep 80,000 individuals in the voter rolls (page 10):
B2–21–MAR_4–004: This EIVR alleged that the Clark County Registrar deliberately caused an error in the conduct of maintaining accurate voter rolls. Specifically, this EIVR alleges that: There were 81,971 voters in Clark County who were undeliverable [sic] in the Primary, and had been Active voters. Due to Joe Gloria’s malfeasance in maintaining accurate voter rolls, despite Clark County normally providing extremely timely updates to the voter rolls, these voters had a delay of 7 weeks, and ran up against the 90–day deadline to modify voter rolls as required by the National Voter Registration Act. The full 81,971 list is provided as an attachment to this, but of concern are the 8,529 voters in the previously undeliverable universe who cast mail in ballots from previously undeliverable addresses. This EIVR was discussed and addressed previously. On July 8 and 9, 2020, the Clark County Registrar’s office received an Electronic Registration Information Center (ERIC) report from the Office of the (Page 11 of 13) Secretary of State

In response to the report, the Clark County Registrar’s office sent a mail verification to the voters listed in that report. If the votersdid not respond within 33 days (allowing 3 days for mailing and 30 days for a response), then the voters’registrations were changed from “active” to “inactive”. On August 5, 2020, the Clark County Registrar’s office inactivated the 81,971 voters who did not respond to the mail verification. On August 6, 2020, the Elections Deputy and staff realized that the 90 day “blackout period” (where voter registration list maintenance was prohibited pursuant to the National Voter Registration Act) had begun on August 5, 2020. Recognizing that the voters were inactivated after the blackout period began, and that AB4 prescribed that all active registered voters be sent a mail–in ballot, the Elections Deputy coordinated with the Clark County Registrar of Voters to reactivateall 81,971 voters to ensure they received a mail–in ballot.
At the end of her report (page 13) she basically passes on reviewing another 14,771 votes:
Of the full list of 15,170 individuals listed on the spreadsheet, 14,771 had vote history from the 2020 general election. As discussed above, there are reasons why a Nevada–registered voter maypermanently or temporarily live out of state, including to attend college or to satisfy military orders. This request to verify the Nevada residency ofmore than 15,000 individualsis unreasonable, as it is not likely to lead to the discovery of evidence of a crime or a violation of Nevada election law.
Here is the Secretary of States report:

Nevada SoS Fraud by Jim Hoft on Scribd
1619195075948.png

Biden was given the win in Nevada by less than 34,000 votes. There are many more outstanding issues still not addressed in Nevada in the report above to more than make up this difference, and this was not the biggest issue in the state.

As noted above, every Nevada voter on their voter rolls was mailed an absentee ballot. This egregious exercise was then amplified by one major flaw in the election still not addressed. Nevada basically turned off the signature check on ballots during this election. This was the perfect storm:
1619195021480.png
It’s clear that the Nevada Secretary of State is doing a sloppy job addressing 2020 Election complaints with tens of thousands of issues still outstanding, but she appears to have an agenda to disregard the most significant issue in Nevada in the 2020 election – signatures were not checked on the ballots received in the state’s 2020 election and anyone could have sent in a ballot for anyone and signed it and no one would know.

Nevada’s voting process in the 2020 Election was a travesty and the only Republican in a statewide position wants to cover it up. She absolutely deserved to be censured.

President Trump Has Been Briefed on AZ Audit – Is “Very Interested” – Rudy Giuliani Joins the War Room to Discuss Historic AZ Election Audit (VIDEO)

Trump attorney and former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani joined the Bannon War Room on Friday morning to discuss the Arizona ballot audit.
During the discussion, Rudy told The War Room that President Trump is closely following the situation in Arizona including the latest court case by Democrats to prevent the audit!

What are they hiding?

Rudy Giuliani:
He’s been up to date and very interested in the whole thing. And even before the decision yesterday when I saw him he was – He was pretty sure it was going to happen. They already lost this case two weeks ago. So this is a last gasp effort to almost reargue the case. They lost this about 10 days ago. And it took about 10 days to put all of this together… They waited until the last moment and then they went into court. And they’re making many of the same arguments they made before.

President Trump has been briefed on the AZ audit and is “very interested in the whole thing”, according to Rudy

“I Haven’t Invited Him” – GOP House “Leader” Liz Cheney Boasts to Reporters that She Did Not Invite President Trump to Annual GOP Meeting Next Week in Florida

By Jim Hoft
Published April 23, 2021 at 9:20am

Since when does Liz Cheney call the shots for House Republicans?

When did she replace GOP Leader Kevin McCarthy?

And is McCarthy so weak he will allow this?

Liz Cheney was asked this week if President Trump would make an appearance at the House Republicans’ policy retreat next week in Florida.

She responded, “I haven’t invited him.”

House Republicans are meeting in Orlando, Florida, next week not far from Mar-a-Lago. President Trump was not invited by leader Cheney.

This is outrageous on so many levels!

The Hill reported:

GOP Conference Chair Liz Cheney (R-Wyo.) offered a dry remark Tuesday when asked if Donald Trump would make an appearance at House Republicans’ policy retreat in Florida next week: “I haven’t invited him.”
The quip elicited laughter from reporters and highlighted the ongoing tensions between the former president and the highest-ranking GOP woman in Congress, who was one of 10 Republicans who voted to impeach Trump for his role in the Jan. 6 Capitol insurrection.
Last week, Trump said he would “soon” endorse a pro-Trump primary challenger to “Crazy Liz Cheney.” Cheney, the daughter of former Vice President Dick Cheney, responded in kind by saying she would not back Trump if he decided to run again for president in 2024.
Trump, who has been hunkering down at his Mar-a-Lago resort, is just a short flight away from Orlando, where Republicans are holding their annual gathering from April 25 to 27. But it doesn’t appear that Trump will be addressing Republicans as he did at past GOP retreats in Philadelphia, Baltimore, and at West Virginia’s Greenbriar resort.

Arizona Democrats File Last Minute Lawsuit Seeking To Block 2020 Election Audit

FRIDAY, APR 23, 2021 - 09:09 AM
Authored by Mimi Nguyen Ly via The Epoch Times,

The Arizona Democratic Party filed a lawsuit on Thursday seeking to stop the state’s Senate from carrying out an audit of the 2020 election results in Maricopa County.

The complaint (pdf), filed in Maricopa County Superior Court, comes just before the audit is set to begin on Friday. In preparation, 2.1 million ballots, as well as voting equipment that includes 385 tabulators, were delivered to the Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Phoenix, the site of the planned audit.

An emergency court hearing has been scheduled for the case, CV2021-006646, at 11 a.m. on Friday.

The Arizona Democratic Party and Steve Gallardo, the sole Democrat on the five-member Maricopa County Board of Supervisors, argue in the lawsuit that the planned audit is in violation of “various statutory and Election Procedures Manual provisions.” They allege that the planned audit lacks various safeguards and requirements are lacking to perform a secure and reliable audit, and as such, the planned audit “undermines the integrity and security” of the state’s elections and voter information.

Plaintiffs are seeking a restraining order and a preliminary and permanent injunction to stop the audit requested by the Republican-majority Senate leadership.

The lawsuit comes as Republicans introduced a bill late January to address legal issues outlined in the Democrats’ lawsuit. The bill is currently with the House after passing the state Senate in February.

The latest auditing efforts come after the Senate leadership issued subpoenas in mid-January to the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors seeking materials for a full audit of the 2020 general election. In response, county officials asked a court to declare that the subpoenas were unlawful and unenforceable. Maricopa County Superior Court Judge Timothy Thomason ruled in February that the subpoenas are valid, and that the Senate has “broad constitutional” oversight powers that allow it to carry out whatever election review it chooses.

Fight Over Disclosure
Democrats in the latest lawsuit argued that the private auditors and their agents “are not authorized to review confidential voter registration records” and “are not authorized to gain possession or control of voted early ballots,” citing state law.

In particular, the complaint notes that “certain parts of a voter’s registration records, including date of birth, signature, and country of birth, may not be viewed, accessed, reproduced, or disclosed to a member of the public who is not an authorized government official.” It also notes that “only election officials, postal workers, and certain family members and other authorized individuals may ‘gain possession or control’ of voted early ballots.”

The Democrats also allege that the private auditors “have not been appointed in writing or taken an oath required under [Elections Procedures Manual Chapter 10 Section 1A (pdf)] and thus are not authorized to touch any ballot, computer, or counting device.” They also allege that the private auditors “are not properly trained in signature verification.”

In a brief comment, Arizona Senate President Karen Fann, a Republican, said that the ballots are protected by bonded and certified 24-hour security forces, kept in locked cages and a public live stream is on 24 hours a day, reported The Associated Press.

The Democrat’s lawsuit comes at the same time that Republicans are trying to pass a bill that would address similar legal issues surrounding confidentiality and disclosure to facilitate the elections auditing process.

On Feb. 18, the state Senate passed a bill that would amend a portion of the state law such that county election equipment, systems and records, and other information that is under the control of county personnel “may not be deemed privileged information, confidential information, or other information protected from disclosure.”

It also subjects such records to a subpoena and stipulates that they “must be produced” and the legislature’s authority to conduct related probes “may not be infringed by any other law.”

The bill is currently held in the state House.

Back and Forth Allegations
Maricopa County Supervisor Gallardo wrote on Twitter late Thursday, “The sole reason for this lawsuit and injunctions is to protect the sanctity of the ballots, and more importantly, to preserve voters’ privacy from a sham audit that has been corrupted by agitators and conspiracy theorists.

“This corrupted process will not be transparent, dark money influencers have handed picked the folks to observe and witness the ‘audit’ that will be conducted by an uncertified and unqualified group,” Gallardo alleged.

The Arizona Senate Democrats released a statement in support of the suit. “It’s clear that this audit is no more than a temper tantrum from those still upset that they lost the election and it is deeply damaging to the integrity of our elections and our democracy,” their statement reads, in part.

President Joe Biden was the first Democratic presidential nominee to win Maricopa County, where Phoenix is located, in decades.

Kelli Ward, Chair of the Arizona Republican Party, questioned the Democrats’ move in a statement on Thursday. “The Democrats are STILL trying to stop the Maricopa County audit and defy the AZ Senate subpoena. What are they hiding?

Hearing tomorrow on this ridiculous temporary restraining order,” she wrote on Twitter.'

The Epoch Times has reached out to Senate President Fann for comment. Last month, she asserted that the audit would reassure voters that the 2020 results were accurate.

Need for Senate Audit?
Two separate forensic audits of the 2020 general election have been conducted by the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors. But Arizona state Sen. Warren Peterson, the Republican Chair of the Judiciary Committee, told Fox 10 in January that the county’s audit “will not prevent the Senate from doing their own audit.”

“My concern with the county audit is that the scope of the audit is an inch deep. With the limited scope they have asked to be audited, they are guaranteed to find nothing,” he said.

The Arizona Senate has hired four out-of-state firms to carry out the audit, which are Wake Technology Services, CyFIR, Digital Discovery, and Cyber Ninjas. Cyber Ninjas, a Florida-based cybersecurity company, was arranged to lead the audit.

The Arizona Senate said that its “broad and detailed” audit “will validate every area of the voting process” and includes, but is not limited to, scanning all the ballots, a full hand recount, auditing the voter registration and votes cast, the vote counts, and the electronic voting system.

The Senate said that its leadership will not be directly involved in the audit process to maintain integrity and transparency. A report of all the findings is expected after about 60 days.

The Maricopa County Board of Supervisors had previously resisted the Senate subpoenas and repeatedly maintained that there were no issues with the conduct of the 2020 election.

The GOP concerns come after controversy in December 2020, when former state Senate Judiciary Committee Chair Eddie Farnsworth, a Republican, issued two subpoenas after former President Donald Trump’s team presented allegations of fraud and other irregularities before members of the Arizona Legislature at an election integrity hearing on Nov. 30, 2020. One major allegation on the day came from Maricopa County GOP chairwoman Linda Brickman, who alleged that she personally observed votes for Trump being tallied as votes for Biden when input into the voting machines.

Farnworth’s subpoenas called for a scanned ballot audit and a full forensic audit of voting equipment and software used in the 2020 general election. The Maricopa County Board of Supervisors days later voted to file a complaint over the subpoenas.

The court later found the dispute was moot in light of the fact that the 2020 subpoenas were no longer enforceable. But the latest auditing efforts came as a result of new subpoenas issued in mid-January by Petersen and Fann.

Democrats Sue To Block AZ Election Audit.
audit
Arizona Democrats are suing to halt the state’s ballot recount and audit of the 2020 election.

The lawsuit, filed by the Arizona Democratic Party and the sole Democrat on the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors, alleges “Republican Senate President Karen Fann and another GOP senator promised a judge that they would protect the secrecy of the ballots and voter privacy before he ruled the Senate could access 2.1 million voted ballots and the tabulation machines used to count them.”

The lawsuit seeks a temporary restraining order and preliminary injunction blocking the audit and recount, emphasizing its lack of transparency would cause “irreparable harm to the integrity of Arizona’s election systems.”

“The sole reason for this lawsuit and injunctions is to protect the sanctity of the ballots and more importantly to preserve voters’ privacy from a sham audit that has been corrupted by agitators and conspiracy theorists,” filer Steve Gallardo said in a Tweet.

A court hearing is set for the morning of Friday, April 23rd.

U.S. Capitol Police is refuting a statement made by California Democrat Rep. Zoe Lofgren that officers were focused only on anti-Trump protesters during the Jan. 6 Capitol riot.

Lofgren, chairwoman of the House Administration Committee, which has oversight of the police force, said during a hearing Wednesday that a Capitol Police radio transmission made on the morning of the riot told officers to watch for anti-Trump protesters.

"The radio call has been misquoted and is lacking full and necessary context," Capitol Police said in an unsigned statement obtained by Politico Wednesday night. "The radio call does not mean USCP was only looking out for anti-Trump counter-protesters. The next radio transmission requests that officers be on the lookout for a pro-Trump protester carrying a possible weapon."

The department said the first radio call was broadcast because of reports of possible violent clashes between pro and anti-Trump protesters near the Capitol, as had happened at previous events.

A Lofgren aide argued the statement proved the point that the force was more focused on anti-Trump protesters fighting pro-Trump supporters than grasping the larger intelligence about the potential for a massive breech, which happen that afternoon.

Election Integrity Bill Fails in Arizona Senate After One Republican Betrays Party
By Eric Lendrum
ag-mark_90833ec2.svg
April 23, 2021

A bill that was set to strengthen election integrity in Arizona by cracking down on voter fraud failed in the Republican-led State Senate, after a Republican member went against the party and voted it down, as reported by ABC News.

The bill, SB 1485, would have made it easier to remove inactive names from the state’s early voting list by removing the word “permanent” from the state’s definition of said list. Following this change, anyone on the list who did not vote in the state’s elections after a certain period of time could have their names removed completely. Inactive names remaining on a state’s voting rolls, such as in Arizona, can lead to a greater chance of voter fraud when those names are used to sway an election in a crucial swing state.

But a single Republican state senator, Kelly Townsend (R-Ariz.), voted with the Democrats against the bill. Her reasoning, ostensibly, was to wait for the results of a GOP-led audit of all 2.1 million ballots in Maricopa County from the 2020 election.

However, the bill’s sponsor, State Senator Michelle Ugenti-Rita (R-Ariz.), claimed that the true reason for Townsend’s no vote was her anger over the fact that none of her election integrity bills made it out of committee. Comparing Townsend’s torpedoing of the bill to a “temper tantrum,” Ugenti-Rita also pointed out that Townsend had “voted for it twice on two occasions,” and “has never once talked about an amendment or language in the bill that would be of a concern.”

In response, Townsend ultimately admitted that she was, in fact, “absolutely…upset about all of my election bills dead,” but then issued a warning: “You want to see a temper tantrum? I can show you one if you really wanted me to.”

The bill was supported by numerous prominent conservative advocacy groups, including Heritage Action, the 501(c)4 arm of the influential think tank Heritage Foundation. Heritage Action released a statement condemning Townsend’s “short-sighted attempt to draw attention to other election bills which failed to pass out of committee,” and pointed out that “a wide majority of Arizonians support these common-sense bills.”

SB 1485 is one of many election integrity bills that have been introduced in Republican legislatures all across the country following the 2020 election, where there is overwhelming evidence of voter fraud and other irregularities that affected the final outcome, particularly in key swing states such as Arizona.
