Spinning New vintage spinning wheel!

I had to share this with you all. I’m so excited! I was offered free alpaca wool by a guy I bought chickens from recently. Apparently, he would just throw it on the ground when he sheared it!

I’ve always wanted to learn how to spin, but didn’t have a source of fiber. Once he offered, I decided to look for a wheel—they’re so expensive though! Eventually, I stumbled on the ebay account of a man in Lithuania who sells antiques. He had one made in 1893 for only $179!! I normally am really bad about dragging my feet on stuff like this and missing out. Not this time!

The wheel came in on Saturday and my daughter helped me put it together. It’s a thing of beauty. Unfortunately, I can’t seem to be able to post a picture. Not sure how to make the file size smaller.

Of note about resizing pictures. If you can't do it as suggested already.

Simply send the picture in a text to friend. Then after the picture has been sent to your friend simply click over the picture now in your text history. Then click on the save to phone. Now when you post find that picture you just saved. Should say recent pictures after clicking on attached files below.
