Need a geek to advise me on posting pics

Hi.

anyone out there can advise me on posting pictures??

I was doing a great job of it, then we, me and this PC got into a contest with spyware, and spyware blockers.

Now that I have killed all the spywares, and added all the safeguads, I dont seem to be able to post a foto on TB

Each time I want to access the procedure for posting pic's the Earthlink Spaminator Blocker FISTS my request. I dont have an over ride switch that I know of??

Any one, any ideas please?

You have to "enable popups" for the TB2K site. I have no idea how to do that. You probably need to contact Earthlink tech support.

You have accepted the Earthlink Spam Blocker and now they control part of your browsing.
So you don't control it any longer (unless Earthlink gave you instructions how to override it.) Earthlink has offered that function for a long time, but have never taken them up on their offer. I use a free pop-up blocker that I installed and that I call in (and out) because I wouldn't install something without knowing what it actually does.
Now the situation gets tricky.
Earthlink will probably not want to get into software interdependency with TB2k software. Dennis doesn't want to go into the interdependency with Earthlink Spam-blocker.

Yet, you may have no other choice to resolve it but to ask Earthlink. For that, the exact error message is important (FISTS is just not good enough )
This will tell you if that is an exclusive spam-blocker function, or a security setting of IE (if you use that) that gets invoked BY spam-blocker.
Such blocking is highly intrusive and I would rather dump spam-blocker than giving up the pic post option (because it it just an indication that you may run into other blocked functions that you haven't seen yet.)

There is still the possibility that the pics you want to post are not accepted because they do not fall within the specified parameters. So what is the rrror message?

this post may help someone else. And thanks Dennis for leading me with the right questions and WFK for explaining HOW my solution works.

1.) am now able to post the pics and access all of timebomb. Earthlink is running 100% block on all popups. To override total access blocking, I just had to type timebomb200.com in the "allow pop ups list"

2.) Before I went 'back' to earthlink protection, we were running wide open and free for years. Loved it. But then the pc crashed a billion times in one week. and I started getting pop ups every moment. I found I had 67 spywares running. And for some reason, total access couldnt clean up the pc. I called tech help, first time i have ever been disappointed with earthlink in twelve years, and gave up on the STUPID tech guy, who told me I had a hardware problem - see my computer vendor, even tho I knew i had isolated spyware as the source of my problem.

So, I went to google, and downloaded the first two free programs I found.
Areana found and isolated all 67 spywares in a few minutes. Ad-Aware found a clean PC. And earthlink, without all the contamination seems to be working just fine again. So, we are happy again. Especially with Areana!!
