Natural Birth Control
Queen Anne's Lace Seeds

http://herbalbirthcontrol.com/

Queen Anne"s Lace (Daucus carota) has a reputation as an effective contraceptive. A teaspoon of crushed seeds of Daucus carota has long been used as a form of natural birth control. Research conducted on albino mice found that wild carrot disrupts the implantation process probably due to inhibition of progesterone, which reinforces its reputation as a contraceptive. Robin Rose Bennett has the longest running clinical trial that can be found on the internet. Her tests have found that 1 teaspoon of seeds, freshly ground just before use and stirred into a glass of cold water is the most efficient dosage. Drink one glass, 8-12 hours after intercourse, or at least within 24 hours. Traditionally, dried or fresh seeds were chewed, 1 teaspoon per dosage. But, if vaginal dryness occurs it is recommended to crush seeds. Take one to three doses after coitus. Bennet notes that wild carrot may be less effective if taken daily. It appears to be at its most reliable when used simply as a "morning-after" herb, taken 8-24 hours after intercourse, up to 3 times within a minimum of 24 hours and a maximum of 72 hours. All methods of usage are limited to 1-3 times after sexual intercourse.

Robin Bennet gathered 12 female volunteers to test the qal seeds for 12 months. "During the study, three women apparently conceived; (More details of the study...)

IMPORTANT! You must properly identify as there are poisonous look alikes!

Anyone can be taught to correctly identify the common biennial Dc, and to carefully avoid the more poisonous "look-alikes" such as Poison Hemlock (Conium maculatum) and Water Hemlock (Cicuta maculata).

Both varieties of hemlock have smooth, purple-streaked stalks, whereas Dc's stalks are covered with hair and are all green. Also, more subtly, every part of Dc smells like carrot when crushed.

Additional info. from me...

Many Queen Anne's lace have one tiny purple flower in the center but not all of them do.

Here's a photo of Queen Anne's Lace. One of the flower heads looks like it has closed up and will go to seed now, this is what you look for to harvest.

Reminds me of the old joke about the woman who asked her doctor about natural birth control. He suggested that she should eat an apple. "Do I eat it before or after sex", she asked. "Neither" he replied. "You eat it instead of sex."

Sorry, couldn't resist. Thanks for the info.

I've heard this herb works well to prevent pregnancy. Also, when one stops using the herb, one is much more likely to get pregnant. So this is a double duty herb. It prevents pregnancy and raises fertility.
