FOOD National Beef is beefing up their security

Noticed National Beef recently added a fence (with barbed wire) around their plant. They also have a nifty little guard shack to control vehicular traffic in and out.

Mean anything? You decide.

Means they're having a tough time finding employees. Probably the same with trucking firms. Tough times. Not a lot of respect all around. Maybe they're trying to prevent valuable meat from becoming shrinkage.

Hmmmm time to go over to Market to Market on PBS and see what they're saying about beef this week. I know there's been some controversy over the new law that Grassley and the senator from Nebraska are trying to get passed involving the beef industry. Wonders if this outfit in the OP is expecting some serious feed back from the public at large?

This is probably the result of changes in insurance or bonding requirements. Plus if it sits empty any amount the fencing is needed to as stated keep everything there...

yeah, not funny what you're not hearing in the news is that this has been a thing in Iowa, Nebraska, etc., for about the past two years now... it all started after that massive flooding IIRC in 2018.
