So, I went to wally world to pick up a few things. As I was walking down an isle a woman, mid 50's got close to me, dropped to her knees and covered her head with her jacket. I asked if she were hiding from me. I was met with a loud YES!!! You are not wearing a mask. WTF is wrong with people?

In Newfoundland & Labrador, you can't get into a store without a mask... that being said we have 23 active cases in the Province, with a caseload of 358 people since March and 4 deaths... Almost all of our cases have been rotational workers coming back to the Province from jobs on the Mainland. There have been no cases in our schools... (which is good as those little typhoid marys spread disease like wildfire.) We don't have an issue with masks.

Yes, what is wrong with people like you? It is simple common courtesy. You cough and sneeze into your elbow, you don't touch other people's food, you don't lick someone else's glass, wear a mask so you don't spread your germs. If everyone had done this months ago, this would be over. We have drastically reduced cases of common cold and flu here in New Brunswick. All of our recent covid cases have been traced back to individuals who have travelled, then come back and not isolated for 14 days, and passed it on. Saint John New Brunswick has higher restrictions because of one individual who travelled outside the province, did not feel the need to obey the law and isolate, then attended two parties with no mask, 60 cases directly attributable to them. Also, another 30 secondary infections from them. So, one asshole refused a mask, 90 people have to spend 14 days off work, possibly die, suffer lingering effects for weeks months or years, because masks don't protect you. To all the idiots out there, YOUR MASK PROTECTS ME! MY MASK PROTECTS YOU! Don't be so freaking selfish! Wear a damn mask.

That was me. Someone dropped a fifty on the floor and I didn't want anyone else to get it.

It might have been your fifty. Threw you off the scent making you think it was about masks. Nobody suspected a thing and now I can afford the fancy 3 ply TP.

New Brunswick? 28+K Squaremiles and a population in 2020 of 772,094. Cold and Flu is not Covid-19 It is aerosol spread and lasts on surfaces for days.

You do know that doctors give notes for pulmonary problem patients, a dispensation not to wear a mask because of trouble breathing with one. You can’t wear oxygen either with a mask on. What about people with anxiety or are claustrophobic?

No one is wearing the proper fitted charcoal filtered N99 mask to prevent the virus and the Virus can still land in your eye through aerosol contact or you touching your eyes from a surface.

So you who think the answer for not spreading is a mask.....Do you wash your mask every time you come back from a store? Do you sanitize your steering wheel, radio, door handles or what you touch every time you go out? Take sanitizer to wash your hands everytime you leave a store? Do you sterilize every single item you have purchased in the store in cause distributors, truckers, stock boys, customers who could have infected the packaging? Do you wash your hands upon returning home for 20 seconds with hot water and soap. How about you removing your clothes upon entry to your home to wash the clothes each time you return home so the virus isn’t on them?

This is what it takes, this is what hospitals and doctors offices have to do.

I never would tell anyone they had to wear a mask in a store and embarrass them to possibly tell their health condition. If someone isn’t wearing a mask, I just turn around in the store and wait until the person without a mask leaves the area I need. I don’t know their health condition and neither do you.

I am surprised others are not doing something I started doing more of at the beginning of this. The Asian, ying yang, hand over fist with a slight bow. Westerners mostly only see this before martial art matches. Some do it putting the flat left hand against the right fist, I prefer the right fist wrapped in the left hand.

Of course this will be more common when our Chinese overlords foreclose on the country's debt.
