MARANTHA!! Even so, come LORD JESUS!!!
As some of you may recall, I bought a camper several months ago and was trying to get the Quonset hut ready for it to go inside. However, having had gall bladder surgery and a bum knee and a bad back has made that very hard.
So, they brought it anyway and it is now in the driveway>>>>In fact, it may be TOO TALL to fit inside the Quonset hut!!!! I have concrete blocks and can construct a side wall dealie thing around it and have a wood furnace that can run heat underneath it without much of a problem. Could also vent heat inside if necessary. I need Dennis to talk to me about some of this. Not a problem for summer, but will have to either get it inside the "hut" for winter or figure something out!!
I am SO EXCITED!!! I haven't had HOT water for 18 months and have been taking showers by heating enough hot water for about 4 gallons and transporting to bathroom via a 5 gallon bucket!!
If you are not familiar with my story, I had a roof supposedly "fixed." Had only one leak and it was small. The roofer did not do a decent job at all and the ENTIRE roof leaks now>>>hot water heater fell through the floor and cannot be emptied because of the calcium and lime>>>and can't even get to the water drain anyway!!
Suing is really not an option>>>>people who do this kind of crap either have no money because they spend it as fast as they get it, or they have it in someone else's name>>>>VERY common around here. THANK GOD I had only paid for the materials and what "work" had supposedly been done! At any rate, the WHOLE roof now leaks like a sieve!! Well, at least 5 BIG leaks now and the roof is only about 1/2 finished. Around here you can't find anyone willing to work>>>>especially not since the advent of FREE GOVERNMENT MONEY, or if they are supposedly willing to work they want all the money "up front">>>>>which I REFUSE to do!!
At any rate>>>>I will be able to take a SHOWER now!!! And it has all the amenities>>>runs on propane or electric and has an on-board generator, so I will make use of both and use my 500 gallon propane tank in the back yard. NOW>>>>I need to get some insurance on the thing as it costs more than I can shell out again>>>only working 2 days a week now and then also have my minuscule amount of Social Security>>>>after working 40 years at a fairly good salary!!
HOORAY!!
