TIP Movies online

i watch and often download movies off the net all the time. usually when you click to start the movie a window pops up asking you to register (and wants CC info). just close the pop up window and again click the play button and the movie will start (usually). clicking on these sites causes these pop ups and they have to be navigated to get to the movie but imho it's worth the effort.

Yes, thanks. I have wished for awhile to watch Still Alice, a movie about Alzheimer's. I was thrilled to find it.

Be careful. Other sites like this have loaded viruses onto people's computers. If it sounds too good to be true...........

Sorry, but I just can't see this as legal. Some of these just came out or are still playing in theaters. Everyone needs to make their own decision.

I have used this site for over a year. You use to be able to download the movies from their youtube location but this no longer exists. Good Site though

Thank you for the site - checked it out and worked great. Now tonight to see if "Video Downloader" will work with it.

WE have to download videos in the early morning hours (Free) then watch the DVD later. Makes for some early mornings but the cost savings are worth it.

Thanks again

i use ant downloader for firefox and it works every time with just one click. also this site downloads in mp4 unlike some movie sites so they should play on any device you have.

I used to be really concerned with the "legality" issues . . . then I looked around and saw how BADLY we the people are being RIPPED by huge multi national mega corporations and the international fascists and I GOT OVER IT REAL QUICK. Yes - two wrongs don't make a right but there is so much greed and pillaging of the small folk going on I think I can give it a "PASS" with out shedding too many tears for the big boys

Be careful. Other sites like this have loaded viruses onto people's computers. If it sounds too good to be true...........

now ^^^^ THIS ^^^^ on the other hand IS a legit concern IMHO

in my mind there is a difference between 'illegal' and 'immoral'. to me, if i were downloading these to share with others or worse, to try to make a profit, it would be immoral. if instead i am simply making a copy to enjoy myself, while it may be illegal, it's not immoral. now, if this country was adhearing to the common law principles it was founded on, doing something illegal would be a big problem. however, as there are so many laws in existence that i can't breathe without breaking one (and have likely broken a dozen or more just today without trying or even knowing), what's one more?

also many of the movies i've downloaded i've already bought, but breaking the damned encryption on the dvd so i can copy them to my computer or tablet to watch when away from home is so difficult that getting them from the net just makes sense.

a few years ago i wrote a story online (well...mostly...it's still not finished). i am well aware that folks have downloaded it and i have no problem with that as long as they don't try to make money from it or pass it off as their own work. i don't even care if they share it with friends. btw, it's posted in members stories here...titled 'Mountain Home'...go look for it if you like.

CFI, I enjoyed Mountain Home immensely when I read it a few years ago. Thank you! Any plans for a sequel?

First ... Two wrongs don't make a right and all that.

I'm tired of getting screwed by everyone from the politicians to the corporations (think Monsan-to ya) that every chance I come across that saves me a few pennies, I dang near need to, just so somebody else can put their hand in my pocket and take it.

We seem to be the ONLY people that care about, what used to be the laws, as they applied to everyone .... those days are long past.

Sorry about the rant but we continue to just continue to follow laws that the elite and others just laugh at, and that includes the POS
"presi-dunce."

PS - I still sleep well at night (unless getting up early to record).

And that's probably where the saying that "many are called, but few are chosen" comes from. It's hard to walk the straight and narrow when almost no one else is.

Of course a pop up killer is mandatory. And for heavens sake, don't use IE. Install Firefox, go to tools, addons and install Adblocker.

Thank you! Just watched the latest Hobbit and now I'm starting the sequel to 300. Whether I stay awake or not remains to be seen.

Be very careful about bragging about this stuff online. They still go after individuals for illegally downloading music. A friend's kid just got handed his butt ... and lost his college savings ... over this. And the excuse that "everyone is doing it" and "the corporations are ripping off the little people" are not proof against the law. It is called movie piracy and they DO prosecute.
