Critics of climate alarmism often level the charge that activists are engaging in a kind of religious fervour, and now Nancy Pelosi has provided more ammunition on this very front by calling the Democrats’ massive spending on ‘green’ policies “a religious thing.”



Describing the House passage of the massive ‘Build Back’ spending bill this past weekend, of which $550 billion is earmarked for combatting climate change, Pelosi said “For me, it’s a religious thing.”

She explained, “I believe this is God’s creation and we have a moral obligation to be good stewards.”

Pelosi contuned, “But if you don’t share that view, you must share the view that we have an obligation to future generations. So we’re very excited about what is in there and it is paid for.”

It’s not a joke. Unfortunately it’s grimly serious.

Politico recently reported that the Sixteen Thirty Fund, the leading dark money machine of the Left, had pumped $410 million into Dem 2020 efforts to defeat Trump and Republicans.

The Sixteen Thirty Fund had raised a record $390 million that year and half the money came from just 4 donors. While the names of the donors are secret, the article did note the names of three major known STF backers: Pierre Omidyar, Hansjörg Wyss, and George Soros.

Aside from their support for leftist causes, the three billionaires have another thing in common.

Hansjörg Wyss, the richest man in Switzerland, may not even be a United States citizen. The article notes that his $135 million in STF dark money donations were "earmarked for non-electoral purposes".

George Soros illegally immigrated to the United States in the 1950s. Aside from his history of Nazi collaboration which should have barred his entry and made him deportable, an account states that his visa was based on a false affidavit filed on his behalf.

His Open Society Foundations have invested an estimated $17 million into STF in 2020.

Pierre Omidyar, an Iranian immigrant, currently the richest man in Hawaii, is a Big Tech billionaire born to wealthy foreign students in Paris, who brought him here as a child. His mother, a Berkeley academic, heads a pro-Iran group financed by her son’s fortune.

Omidyar injected an estimated $45 million into an STF fund.

There is something remarkably striking about three foreign billionaires, two of whom have been accused of immoral atrocities, funding the dark money machine behind leftist politics.

Together the three men account for nearly $200 million in outlay just to STF.

The three men, two of them European and one Middle Eastern, are a study in contrasts and similarities. Wyss was born Christian, Soros was born Jewish, and Omidyar was born Muslim, only for them to have shed their past histories and adopted the generic identities of globalist megalomaniacs convinced that the fate of the planet and of humanity is in their hands.

The three immigrant billionaires inhabit estates in the ultra-luxurious Kahala neighborhood of Honolulu, in Wilson, Wyoming, and Bedford, New York and employ former Secret Service agents to guard them.

The three leftist billionaires made their money in transnational industries, finance, the internet, and medical technology that welcomed talented immigrants. Their allegiance to the country whose territories host their wealth and mansions varies from non-existent to outright antipathy.

Their true allegiance is to overriding social and technological philosophies, partly of their own devising, and they use their massive wealth to impose them on Americans. While their open advocacy has a fairly poor track record (how many people actually read Soros’ books, Omidyar’s thoughts on capitalism, or Wyss’ thoughts on environmentalism), they have learned that they can covertly buy influence by building their own manipulative political networks.

Dark money machines are unsurprising investments for men who avoid basic transparency and treat the American political system like a game of shadows that they can rig with their money.

Omidyar finances both Black Lives Matter and Never Trumpers. The eBay billionaire is the hidden hand behind the fake “Facebook whistleblower” advocating censoring conservatives. He has a project to “reimagine capitalism” while funding The Intercept which openly touts Marxism.

Soros is equally devious, having secretly funded J Street so that the anti-Israel group could pretend to be moderate opponents without being associated with a noted enemy of the Jewish State. Publicly, he bashes Xi and China, while his Quincy Institute defends the People’s Republic of China and advocates alongside the “Squad” against any anti-China measures.

Wyss has plowed a fortune into American politics without ever even going on the record as to whether he holds American citizenship. Meanwhile Wyss' Hub Project, operating out of STF, set up fronts like Floridians for a Fair Shake, Keep Iowa Healthy, and North Carolinians for a Fair Economy that went after Republicans. This isn’t politics: it’s a hostile foreign takeover.

Soros and Omidyar both benefited from economic disruption, technological and financial, that enabled them to get rich while inflicting heavy costs on existing industries and businesses. Like much of the Big Tech sector, they’re convinced that they’re geniuses and that their Nietzschean superiority gives them the right to destroy what exists in favor of their egotistical ideologies.

The two old men of the group, Soros and Wyss, have been accused of paving their path to wealth through horrifying crimes, whether it was Soros’ participation in the seizure of Jewish properties in Hungary, or the illegal medical experimentation on patients that sent multiple executives of the company that serves as the source of Wyss’ wealth to prison.

Wyss was reportedly “deliriously happy” when he learned that he would not be indicted over the experiments that had been tested on pigs, before killing the pigs, only to then be injected into human beings. “They do not have enough on me. They don’t have enough emails on me,” he reportedly boasted.

Their vast wealth and megalomania cannot be separated from the images of elderly patients dying on operating tables while representatives of Wyss’ company looked on and watched them suffer, or Tivadar Soros, the billionaire's father, writing that he sent George off to participate in antisemitic war crimes with a Nazi collaborator "to cheer the unhappy lad up" where "surrounded by good company, he quickly regained his spirits.”

“It is a sort of disease when you consider yourself some kind of god, the creator of everything, but I feel comfortable about it now since I began to live it out,” George Soros once quipped.

Omidyar and Wyss seem to know better than to announce their megalomania quite as nakedly, and even Soros scaled back his more outrageous boasts after increasing public scrutiny.

The three foreign billionaires named in the Politico article shared a common megalomania, filtered through the lenses of their own ideologies, and little attachment to the United States.

American industries and companies made them fabulously rich, but their horizons have always been international, and they view America as little more than just another tool for their visions.

When Americans, the ordinary sort of people, don’t go all along, they manipulate them. Despite their official fealty to democracy, to open societies, and public discourse, their dark money investments reflect their determination to sideline the public and impose their will on America.

Democrats often complain about money in politics, but they are the worst offenders. Some of the richest men and the wealthiest zip codes buy up elections for them across the country. And they seem uninterested whether the billionaires buying them even have American citizenship.

Three foreign billionaires are engaged in a hostile foreign takeover of the Republic. The Democrats call this democracy. The rest of us call it ideological imperialism and colonial tyranny.

President Joe Biden’s Build Back Better legislation, which passed in the House on Friday, includes a multi-billion dollar tax cut for wealthy Americans in blue states while hitting a wide swath of the middle-class with a tax hike.​

The House passed Biden’s social spending bill and the cornerstone in his Build Back Better agenda on Friday morning. The bill includes provisions that hike state and local tax deductions, which overwhelmingly favor Democrat-run states, while raising taxes on up to 30% of middle-class earners.​

​

In 2017, then-President Donald Trump signed a tax bill into law that placed a $10,000 cap on the amount of state and local taxes that one could deduct from their federal tax bill. Prior to the cap, one could deduct essentially all state and local taxes (SALT) from the federal tax bill. The cap is set to expire in 2025.​

​

Biden’s social spending bill raises the SALT cap to $80,000 until 2031 before dropping back down to $10,000, according to The Washington Post. The benefits of such a maneuver would accrue mostly to wealthy individuals living in deep blue, high tax states.​

​

According to a 2017 report on SALT deductions by the Tax Foundation: “The state and local tax deduction … expressly favors higher-income earners and state and local governments which impose above-average tax burdens. The deduction’s effect is for lower- and middle-income taxpayers to subsidize more generous spending in wealthier states like California, New York, and New Jersey, reducing the felt cost of higher taxes in those states.”​

In total, the SALT cap raise in Biden’s Build Back Better legislation is equivalent to a “$285 billion tax cut that would almost exclusively benefit high-income households over the next five years,” according to the Post.​

At the same time, the social spending bill also targets the middle class, hiking taxes on 20% to 30% of households making less than $400,000 a year. As The Daily Wire reported:​

The Biden administration’s “Build Back Better” spending bill would raise taxes on many middle-class families, according to a report from the nonpartisan Tax Policy Center, despite the president’s promise to not raise taxes on anyone making [less] than $400,000 per year.​

The report found that in the year 2022, when looking at direct taxes only — that is, individual income taxes and payroll taxes — most American families in all income groups except the top 1% would see a tax cut. But when all of the major tax laws are taken into account, TPC reports that “roughly 20 percent to 30 percent of middle-income households would pay more in taxes in 2022.” Those increases would be small, with most low and middle-class families paying about $100 more in taxes.​

Biden, both during his campaign and as president, has pledged to not raise taxes on the middle class. White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki repeated the claim in April while fielding questions on Biden’s domestic agenda.​

Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò, the Italian prelate well known for his criticism of Pope Francis and opposition to globalist schemes, issued Tuesday a dire warning and a powerful clarion call:
A “global coup d’état” is taking place, he stated, for the purposes of effecting a “Great Reset,” a movement toward the “New World Order.”

To combat this, Viganò implored, it “is necessary to form an international Anti-Globalist Alliance, which gathers all those who want to oppose the dictatorship, who have no intention of becoming slaves to a faceless power, who are not willing to cancel their own identity, their own individuality, their own religious faith.”

“If the attack is global,” he continued, “the defense must also be global.”

Viganò has long warned that COVID-19 is being leveraged by demagogues to increase their power and strip personal liberties, but his latest appeal is perhaps his most powerful yet.

Released to website Gateway Pundit and titled “APPEAL FOR AN ANTI-GLOBALIST ALLIANCE,” the prelate opens saying:

FOR TWO YEARS NOW we have been witnessing a global coup d’état, in which a financial and ideological elite has succeeded in seizing control of part of national governments, public and private institutions, the media, the judiciary, politicians and religious leaders. All of these, without distinction, have become enslaved to these new masters who ensure power, money and social affirmation to their accomplices.

Fundamental rights, which up until yesterday were presented as inviolable, have been trampled underfoot in the name of an emergency: today a health emergency, tomorrow an ecological emergency, and after that an internet emergency.

This global coup d’état deprives citizens of any possibility of defense, since the legislative, executive, and judicial powers are complicit in the violation of law, justice, and the purpose for which they exist. It is a global coup d’état because this criminal attack against citizens extends to the whole world, with very rare exceptions. It is a world war, where the enemies are all of us, even those who unwittingly have not yet understood the significance of what is happening. It is a war fought not with weapons but with illegitimate rules, wicked economic policies, and intolerable limitations of natural rights.

Supranational organizations, financed in large measure by the conspirators of this coup d’état, are interfering in the government of individual nations and in the lives, relationships, and health of billions of people. They are doing it for money, certainly, but even more so in order to centralize power so as to establish a planetary dictatorship. It is the Great Reset of the World Economic Forum, the Agenda 2030 of the United Nations. Viganò is not the only Christian hierarch sounding this alarm. He has been joined by fellow prelate Cardinal Raymond Burke, who warned last December that the China virus is being used by supporters of “The Great Reset” to promote an “evil agenda.”

Yet the “reset” has also been spoken of by a very different kind of leader. Left-wing Prime Minister Justin Trudeau of Canada admitted himself in late September, while speaking via video (below; relevant portion begins at 2:05) to the U.N., “This pandemic has provided an opportunity for a reset; this is our chance to accelerate our pre-pandemic efforts to re-imagine economic systems.”

In other words, it could be argued what exactly the “reset” involves, but that it’s on many leaders’ agenda is now crystal clear.

Another eyebrow-raising remark was issued by Dr. Kerry Chant, New South Wales, Australia’s chief health officer, during an early September China virus press conference. “Asked whether contact-tracing would return when Australia opens up again,” The Irish Sun reported at the time, “Dr Chant said: ‘We will be looking at what contract-tracing looks like in the new world order’” (emphasis added; video below).

Some saw Chant’s comment as merely sloppy word choice, others as sloppy agenda cloaking.

As for Viganò, he issued a call to action in the remainder of his appeal, stating:

In the face of this global coup d’état, it is necessary to form an international Anti-Globalist Alliance, which gathers all those who want to oppose the dictatorship, who have no intention of becoming slaves to a faceless power, who are not willing to cancel their own identity, their own individuality, their own religious faith. If the attack is global, the defense must also be global.

I call upon rulers, political and religious leaders, intellectuals and all people of good will, inviting them to unite in an Alliance that launches an anti-globalist manifesto, refuting point-by-point the errors and deviations of the dystopia of the New World Order and proposing concrete alternatives for a political program inspired by the common good, the moral principles of Christianity, traditional values, the protection of life and the natural family, the protection of business and work, the promotion of education and research, and respect for Creation.

This Anti-Globalist Alliance will have to bring together the Nations that intend to escape the infernal yoke of tyranny and affirm their own sovereignty, forming agreements of mutual collaboration with Nations and peoples who share their principles and the common yearning for freedom, justice, and goodness. It will have to denounce the crimes of the elite, identify those responsible, denounce them to international tribunals, and limit their excessive power and harmful influence. It will have to prevent the action of the lobbies, above all by fighting against the corruption of state officials and those who work in the information industry, and by freezing the capital used to destabilize the social order.

In Nations where governments are subservient to the elite, they will be able to establish popular resistance movements and committees of national liberation, including representatives of all sectors of society who propose a radical reform of politics, inspired by the common good and firmly opposed to the neo-malthusian [sic] project of the globalist agenda.

I invite all those who want to defend traditional Christian society to meet together in an international forum, to be held as soon as possible, in which representatives of various nations come together to present a serious, concrete, and clear proposal. My appeal is made to political leaders and to rulers who care about the good of their citizens, leaving aside the old systems of political parties and the logic imposed by a system enslaved to power and money. I call the Christian nations together, from east to west, inviting Heads of State and the healthy forces of institutions, the economy, labor, universities, health care and information to join a common project, disrupting the old systems and putting aside the hostilities that are desired by the enemies of humanity in the name of divide et impera [“divide and conquer”]. We do not accept our adversary’s rules, because they are made precisely to prevent us from reacting and organizing an effective and incisive opposition.

I call upon Nations and their citizens to ally themselves under the Cross of Our Lord Jesus Christ, the only King and Savior, the Prince of Peace. In hoc signo vinces [“In this sign thou shalt conquer”].

Let us found this Anti-Globalist Alliance, let us give it a simple and clear program, and let us free humanity from a totalitarian regime that brings together in itself the horrors of the worst dictatorships of all time. If we continue to delay, if we do not understand the threat that looms over us all, if we do not react by organizing ourselves into a firm and courageous resistance, this infernal regime that is establishing itself everywhere will not be able to be stopped.

Globalist Organization Attempts to End Free Speech Worldwide

• Logistics for the IGCD are provided by the Reset Initiative (a not-so-subtle reminder that censorship is a requirement for The Great Reset), which is part of The Omidyar Group of philanthropies
• Omidyar funds Whistleblower Aid, the legal counsel for the fake Facebook “whistleblower” Frances Haugen, who has testified before U.S., French, British and European Union lawmakers, calling for more censorship
• CCDH chairman Simon Clark also has ties to Arabella Advisors, the most powerful dark money lobbying group in the U.S.

If you suspected censorship was being coordinated on a global scale, you’d be right. The International Grand Committee on Disinformation1 (IGCD) consists of “an international array of legislators, policy advisers, and other experts” who work together “to forge international alliances that bring shared, effective strategies into the battle against online disinformation.”

What could possibly go wrong?

The idea behind the IGCD came from four members of the British and Canadian Parliaments: Damian Collins and Ian Lucas from the U.K., and Bob Zimmer and Nathaniel Erskine-Smith from Canada. The first session of the IGCD took place at the end of November 2018, so they’ve been quietly working in the background for some time already.

Since then, they’ve held meetings in Canada and the U.K. and hosted seminars in the U.S., attended by spiritual leaders, journalists, technology executives, “subject matter experts” and parliamentary leaders from 21 countries (Argentina, Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Estonia, Finland, France, Georgia, Germany, Ireland, Latvia, Mexico, Morocco, Singapore, St. Lucia, Sweden, the U.K. and the U.S.)

According to the IGCD, the organization functions as a “forum for information sharing, collaboration and harmonization of policies to … achieve common goals among democratic states. Never mind the fact that democracy cannot exist without freedom of speech.”

Logistics for the group are provided by an initiative called “Reset,”2 which feels like a not-so-subtle reminder that censorship is a requirement for The Great Reset. They know people would never go along with the Great Reset plan if allowed to freely discuss the ramifications.

‘Online Safety Bill’ Seeks to Shut Down Counternarratives
The IGCD helps shed light on the technocracy front group known as the Centers for Countering Digital Hate (CCDH),3 seeing how one of the CCDH’s board members, Damian Collins MP, is also one of the founders of the IGCD. Both groups were formed in 2018 and clearly have the same goals and agenda.

One of those goals is to eliminate free speech online, which is what the U.K.’s proposed “Online Safety Bill” would achieve. Not surprisingly, Collins is part of the Online Safety Bill Committee, charged with examining the Bill “line by line to make sure it is fit for purpose.”4

In an August 11, 2021, blog post, Collins asked for the public’s help to track down counternarratives, taking screenshots of the offending material and emailing it to him. “Unless harmful content is reported, whether it is terrible images of self-harm, violent or extremist content or anti-vaccine conspiracy theories, it can otherwise be unknowable to regulators and governments,” he said.

It’s impossible to miss the fact that Collins is lumping “anti-vaccine” content in with violent and extremist content that must be censored and, in reality, that’s probably one of the top categories of information this bill seeks to control.

As reported by iNews,5 “The Prime Minister [Boris Johnson] has repeatedly insisted the powers contained within the legislation would help crack down on … anti-vaccine disinformation.”

Online Safety Bill Is ‘Catastrophic for Free Speech’
While some might think it’s a good idea to spoon feed people “correct” information about vaccines, it’s important to realize that while vaccines are the issue of today, tomorrow another topic that is near and dear to your heart could be deemed out of bounds for public discussion.

So, supporting censorship of any kind is a slippery slope that is bound to come back to bite you when you least expect it.

As reported by BBC News,6 the “Legal to Say. Legal to Type” campaign warns that if the Online Safety Bill becomes law, Big Tech firms will be in a position of extraordinary power:

“While the group supports the bill’s aim of ensuring online platforms remove images of child sexual abuse, terrorist material and content which incites racial hatred and violence, it fears other provisions will adversely affect free speech …

Under the bill, Ofcom [the British Office of Communications] will be given the power to block access to sites and fine companies which do not protect users from harmful content up to £18m, or 10% of annual global turnover, whichever is the greater.

Campaigners claim this gives tech firms an incentive to ‘over-censor,’ and ‘effectively outsources internet policing from the police, courts and Parliament to Silicon Valley’ …

Mr. [MP David] Davis described the bill as a ‘censor’s charter.’ He added: ‘Lobby groups will be able to push social networks to take down content they view as not politically correct, even though the content is legal’ …

Campaigners are also concerned that technology companies may use artificial intelligence to identify harmful content. That, they say, may introduce racial biases and will wrongly censor language, ‘especially when it comes to irony-loving Brits.’”

US Democrats Attack Free Speech
Meanwhile, in the U.S., the Health Misinformation Act, introduced by Sen. Amy Klobuchar, D-Minn., and Sen. Ben Ray Luján, D-N.M., would suspend Communications Decency Act Section 230 protections in instances where social media networks are found to boost “anti-vaccine conspiracies,” and hold them liable for such content. In a July 22, 2021, article, Tech Crunch reported:7

“The bill would specifically alter Section 230’s language to revoke liability protections in the case of ‘health misinformation that is created or developed through the interactive computer service’ if that misinformation is amplified through an algorithm.

The proposed exception would only kick in during a declared national public health crisis, like the advent of COVID-19, and wouldn’t apply in normal times. The bill would task the Secretary of the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) with defining health misinformation.”

As with the British Online Safety Bill, the Health Misinformation Act is an open portal for abuses. Ironically, the Act actually relies on misinformation to make its case. It specifically mentions the CCDH’s “Disinformation Dozen” report,8 which falsely claims a dozen individuals, myself included, are responsible for a majority of the “anti-vax misinformation” being shared on social media platforms.

‘Disinformation Dozen’ Have Negligible Reach
Meanwhile, in an August 18, 2021, statement,9,10 Facebook’s vice president of content policy, Monika Bickert, stated there’s no evidence to support the CCDH’s claims, and that the people named by the CCDH as being responsible for the vast majority of vaccine misinformation on social media were in fact only responsible for a tiny fraction — 0.05% — of all vaccine content on Facebook. Here’s an excerpt from Bickert’s statement:11

“In recent weeks, there has been a debate about whether the global problem of COVID-19 vaccine misinformation can be solved simply by removing 12 people from social media platforms. People who have advanced this narrative contend that these 12 people are responsible for 73% of online vaccine misinformation on Facebook. There isn’t any evidence to support this claim …

In fact, these 12 people are responsible for about just 0.05% of all views of vaccine-related content on Facebook. This includes all vaccine-related posts they’ve shared, whether true or false, as well as URLs associated with these people.

The report12 upon which the faulty narrative is based analyzed only a narrow set of 483 pieces of content over six weeks from only 30 groups, some of which are as small as 2,500 users. They are in no way representative of the hundreds of millions of posts that people have shared about COVID-19 vaccines in the past months on Facebook.

Further, there is no explanation for how the organization behind the report identified the content they describe as ‘anti-vax’ or how they chose the 30 groups they included in their analysis. There is no justification for their claim that their data constitute a ‘representative sample’ of the content shared across our apps.”

It’s quite clear that the CCDH exists to fabricate “evidence” that is then used to destroy the opposition in order to control the information. As such, it’s really nothing more than a front group for the much larger, global IGCD, which aims to shut down free speech across the world.

Canadian ‘environmental warrior’ David Suzuki over the weekend issued what many perceive as a terroristic threat to leaders.

Suzuki said pipelines will be “blown up” if leaders don’t act on climate change.

“We’re in deep, deep doo-doo,” said Suzuki Saturday, speaking at an Extinction Rebellion protest on Vancouver Island. “This is what we’re come to. The next stage after this, there are going to be pipelines blown up if our leaders don’t pay attention to what’s going on.”

When confronted about his terroristic threat, Suzuki told the National Post that he doesn’t support the bombing of pipelines.

Gas prices have spiked since Joe Biden was installed in January.

On his first day in office, Joe Biden killed off 42,100 jobs by ending construction of the Keystone XL Pipeline and the end of construction of the Trump border wall.

The national average for a gallon of gas is $3.403 – over a $1.20 per gallon increase in the last year.

Biden is threatening to shut down more pipelines this winter as gas prices are surging.

The US went from being energy independent under Trump to begging OPEC under Joe Biden.

Of course this backfired.

Oil prices rose above $82 a barrel after Biden’s announcement.

President Joe Biden promoted his efforts to lower gas prices on Tuesday, but he reminded Americans they would save more money on gas if they owned electric cars.

“For the hundreds of thousands of folks who bought one of those electric cars, they’re going to save $800 to $1000 in fuel costs this year,” Biden said, referring to the $112,595 electric Hummer pickup he test drove at a General Motors factory in Detroit earlier this month.

The president appeared frustrated that some Americans continue blaming his environmental agenda for higher gas prices, dismissing it as a “myth.”

“My effort to combat climate change is not raising the price of gas, what it’s doing is increasing the availability of jobs,” Biden insisted.

He claimed his government subsidies for green energy and electric cars would only help Americans get jobs and save more money.

“Let’s do that. Let’s beat climate change. With more extensive innovation and opportunities,” Biden said, claiming the economy would be “less vulnerable to these kinds of price hikes” on fossil fuels.

The president notably suspended all federal leases on oil and gas and shut down the Keystone XL pipeline after taking office, which hurt the amount of domestic oil production.

Domestic oil production was on a steady rise in the United States when former president Donald Trump was in office until the coronavirus pandemic hit. Domestic oil production continues to lag even though the demand for oil has recovered.

Biden still has no plan to increase the domestic production of oil, but he frequently complains that OPEC+ nations are not releasing enough oil to the world.

The president has also resisted leveling an export ban of oil from the United States or loosening blending regulations and standards to alleviate the cost of production.

Biden announced plans to release 50 million gallons of oil from the Strategic Oil Reserves to help lower prices but cautioned Americans it would take a while to have an effect on gas prices.

“While our combined actions will not solve the problem of high gas prices overnight, it will make a difference,” he said. It will take time, but before long, you should see the price of gas drop where you fill up your tank.”

Biden’s efforts did not immediately have the desired effect on the oil market as prices rose over three percent per barrel on Tuesday morning after his announcement.

President Joe Biden’s Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm is the subject of an ethics complaint for promoting, in her role as a member of the executive branch, an electric bus company she sat on the board of and held over a million dollars of stock in.

Granholm — who oversees moving the country toward an electric vehicle transportation system and enjoys newfound powers after the passage of Biden’s infrastructure package — is facing scrutiny for promoting Proterra, a Burlingame, California-based electric bus company she sat on the board of and held 240,520 shares of stock in, which garnered her $1.6 million when she finally divested them 157 days after her nomination.

Granholm has been criticized for promoting Proterra in her official capacity as energy secretary and for hyping grant access to companies with connections to Proterra. These critics argue that Granholm’s promotion of the company, which as of Monday had a market cap of $2.6 billion, has increased Proterra’s visibility and thereby potentially increased the value of Granholm’s stock in the company before she was required by ethics rules to sell her shares on May 24.

Granholm’s promotion of the Burlingame, California electric vehicle company came at the same time that Democrats in Congress were crafting—and ultimately passing—Biden’s $1.2 trillion infrastructure package, which dramatically increases Granholm’s authority as energy secretary to advance private sector companies in the transition to an electric vehicle-based transportation infrastructure. The infrastructure package — which has been promoted by Biden, Vice President Kamala Harris, Granholm, Biden’s Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg, and other members of the administration — grants as much as $174 billion to green vehicles and $45 billion to zero-emission buses to “replace 50,000 diesel transit vehicles and electrify at least 20 percent of our yellow school bus fleet” and “to build a national network of 500,000 EV chargers by 2030.”

The California-based Proterra stands to benefit greatly from this Biden administration electric vehicle investment. It is perhaps unsurprising then that the Center for Responsive Politics found that nearly 85 percent of Proterra’s employee campaign contributions went to Democrats, including Biden.

Granholm’s involvement with Proterra started in March of 2017, when the company announced she would be joining its board ostensibly due to her experience with the automotive sector when she served as Michigan’s governor from 2003 to 2011. Proterra hoped to use Granholm’s “track record for producing a high-quality clean energy and transportation workforce in the Midwest” to launch the company into the “next phase of strategic growth and national deployment,” its press release explained. During her time on the board, Granholm supplemented her considerable income by simultaneously serving on the boards and consulting for various left-wing organizations as well, such as American Bridge PAC and Media Matters.



After serving on Proterra’s board for roughly three years, Granholm was nominated to be Biden’s secretary of energy on December 18, 2020, and was later confirmed on February 25.
During her confirmation process, Granholm signed an ethics agreement letter on January 16, in which she promised to step down from the Proterra board and divest her Proterra stock “as soon as practicable but not later than 180 days after my confirmation.”

Within that months-long period following Granholm’s nomination, Proterra’s stock price was potentially boosted by her nomination, as well as by the administration’s continued hyping of the company at various events. Although the company was not yet publicly traded at the time that Granholm sold her shares, there are indications that the Biden administration’s hyping of Proterra benefitted the company during this period, as was apparent when the stock of a company merging with Proterra spiked following a Biden event at a Proterra plant in April.

On April 6, Granholm signed a document that listed the stocks she had divested from; however, she left out her 240,520 shares of Proterra, which she estimated at the time to be worth up to $5 million, according to the full financial disclosure report she submitted four days after her nomination. Her investment in Proterra was her largest stock asset, equal in value to her home in Oakland, California, which she also valued as being worth up to $5 million. These two assets – her Proterra stock and her home – were the largest assets listed on Granholm’s financial disclosure form.

While Granholm continued to hold these Proterra stocks, her duties as energy secretary put her in a position to potentially benefit the company and its partners and in turn increase the value of the stock shares she still held.

In fact, on February 24, the day before the Senate confirmed Granholm, Biden signed Executive Order 14017, which gave Granholm, the now-secretary of energy, instructions to lead the efforts to create a supply chain for electric batteries and other electric vehicle components.

Two months later, on April 15, the Energy Department unveiled two different American taxpayer-funded electric vehicle grant opportunities worth more than $162 million. The grants were a continuation of the SuperTruck initiatives that were created in 2009 by the Obama administration and were renewed in 2016. The 2009 and 2016 SuperTruck grants were aimed at incentivizing fuel efficiency for diesel trucks, but the new “SuperTruck 3” grants under Biden were aimed specifically at creating an electric vehicle fleet and expanding EV infrastructure.

However, the introduction of these grants and Granholm’s authority as energy secretary to promote them created a potential conflict of interest because Proterra or its partners could benefit from the grants at a time when Granholm still held stock in the company. According to federal regulations, Granholm is required to consult ethics officials and receive proper approval before participating in any matter involving “specific parties which [she] knows is likely to affect the financial interests of a member of [her] household.” Obviously, the promotion of Proterra or its partners while holding over 240,000 shares of Proterra stock would conflict with this regulatory requirement. It is unclear whether Granholm sought or was granted a waiver regarding the Biden administration’s promotion of Proterra at that time.

On the same day the new SuperTruck 3 initiative was announced, Granholm joined a call with trucking industry representatives to promote the initiative, promising that the program would “push the envelope even further through the electrification of the vehicle, and hydrogen and fuel cells.” Granholm also said that the “money has been authorized by Congress” and mentioned by name the companies that have already been awarded grants, including Daimler, a Proterra partner.

The question of Granholm’s relationship with Proterra came under scrutiny again on April 20, when President Biden raised the company’s profile by virtually touring Proterra’s Greenville, South Carolina, factory to support the administration’s push for electric buses. Biden’s virtual tour took place at a time when Granholm still owned her Proterra stock. The White House claimed at the time that Granholm was “in the process” of selling off her up to $5 million-worth of stock in the company. Breitbart News’s Charlie Spiering wrote that shares of ArcLight Clean Transition Corp – the company that Proterra announced in January that it would be merging with – “spiked” after Biden’s virtual visit. Because Proterra was not publicly traded at the time of Biden’s visit, the spike in ArcLight’s stock provides a useful insight into the impact of Biden’s promotion of Proterra. When the merger with ArcLight was announced in January, Proterra was valued at $1.6 billion, and the announcement doubled the price of ArcLight shares.

It is unclear if Granholm was present during Biden’s virtual tour of the Proterra plant, but her connection to the company raised eyebrows at the time. However, the Energy Department denied that they had any involvement in the planning of that virtual tour.

On April 19, the day before Biden’s virtual visit, Vice President Kamala Harris toured Thomas Built Buses, a subsidiary of Daimler. The electric vehicle company is based in North Carolina and uses Proterra as its main supplier. “Proterra has partnered with Thomas Built Buses to electrify their most popular vehicle, creating a 100% battery-electric bus designed to meet the needs of school bus fleets,” a Proterra press release said. During the tour, Harris was photographed in front of a fleet of school buses near a charging station bearing the Proterra logo.

The favoritism shown to Proterra caught the eye of Sen. John Barrasso (R-WY), the top Republican on the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee, after Biden virtually toured the company’s South Carolina factory. On April 27, Barrasso sent a letter to the Energy Department’s Inspector General “requesting a review of a potential conflict of interest involving DOE Secretary Jennifer Granholm’s investments in Proterra, Inc. and her promotion of electric vehicles.”

Additionally, on May 12, Rep. Ralph Norman (R-SC), the top Republican on the Environment Subcommittee in the House of Representatives, sent a letter to Granholm demanding documents from her in order to investigate her “longstanding relationship” and “multi-million-dollar stake” in Proterra.

On May 7, over two months after her confirmation, Granholm officially received an ethics waiver from the Office of Government Ethics to sell off her 240,520 shares of Proterra stock, after receiving backlash from Republicans in the House and Senate for her failure to divest this stock while the administration was promoting the company.

The waiver allowed Granholm to defer capital gains taxes when she unloaded the Proterra stock as long as she reinvested the money into a “permitted property” within 60 days. When Granholm sold her Proterra stock on May 24, which was 88 days after her confirmation and 157 days after her nomination, she netted a capital gain of $1.6 million, according to the Department of Energy. However, it is unclear where Granholm reinvested this money and whether that investment could also pose a potential conflict of interest, considering how vast and complex the electric vehicle supply chain is.

All of these potential conflicts of interest caught the attention of Protect the Public’s Trust (PPT), a government watchdog group, which issued a statement raising questions about Granholm’s involvement with the Biden administration’s electric vehicle initiatives.

Meanwhile, the Biden administration’s Proterra promotion continued at the highest levels. On June 29, Biden traveled to a Municipal Transit Utility in Wisconsin to promote his infrastructure agenda. During his visit, Biden mentioned his tour of the Proterra factory “in the Carolinas,” and the transit manager Biden was speaking to noted that his city was getting two electric buses from that same Proterra factory, a fact which White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki also confirmed.

On the same day, Proterra announced that the Department of Transportation’s Federal Transit Administration had awarded ten unnamed cities new grants “to procure Proterra electric transit buses, charging infrastructure, and Proterra Powered low-floor shuttles.” The company’s press release celebrated Proterra’s “ability to deliver comprehensive fleet electrification solutions.”

Indeed, as the White House drummed up support for its infrastructure agenda, Proterra and its partners continued to benefit from the administration’s promotion of electric vehicles.

On November 1, both Granholm and Vice President Harris traveled to New York to announce 25 projects that were awarded $200 million in Department of Energy grants, including $127 million in grants from the SuperTruck 3 initiative. At the event, both Granholm and Harris stood in front of a backdrop of Proterra buses, while announcing the Department of Energy’s grant recipients.

At least three of the five SuperTruck 3 recipients had partnered with Proterra. In fact, roughly $76.8 million of the $127.8 million SuperTruck 3 grants announced that day went to a company with ties to Proterra, meaning these Proterra-linked companies garnered over 60 percent of the grants Granholm and Harris hyped that day.

One of those companies is Daimler Trucks North America, LLC, an Oregon-based company that received a $25,791,669 SuperTruck 3 grant and has a long history with Proterra, having invested in the company as part of a “strategic partnership” over the years.

In 2018, while Granholm served on Proterra’s Board, Proterra announced it “closed a $155 million investment round co-led by Daimler” and “entered into an agreement to explore the electrification of select Daimler heavy-duty vehicles.” In January, Daimler Trucks also was a part of a group that invested $415 million into Proterra.

Granholm’s involvement in that November 1 event – in front of the unmistakable backdrop of a Proterra truck – led the ethics watchdog group Protect the Public’s Trust (PPT) to file an ethics complaint citing Granholm’s participation “in a recent event during which federal grants that would directly and predictably benefit Proterra were announced and during which Proterra buses and products were prominently displayed.”

“Ms. Granholm would also have had intimate knowledge of the deep relationship between the awardees and her former firm,” the complaint added. “For instance… while Secretary Granholm served on the Board… the company announced it had received a funding infusion of $155 million from investors led by Daimler.”

Additionally, the complaint noted that Ford Motor Company, which received $24,952,314 of the grant, and General Motors, LLC, which received $26,061,726 of the grant, also have a history with Proterra:

Daimler is not the only investor in Proterra to have received an award from the SuperTruck 3 grant. General Motors is slated to receive more than $26 million from the program. GM Ventures made a $6 million investment in Proterra in 2011.

In November 2020, the president of Ford’s Americas and International Markets Group declared, “At the moment, [Ford] do[es] not have any plans to go into heavy-duty with battery-electric vehicles.” Yet just a few months later, Ford reversed course and decided to do precisely that, submitting a successful proposal that could gain the company nearly $25 million from SuperTruck 3 to develop and demonstrate five hydrogen fuel cell electric Class-6 Super Duty trucks.”

This summer, Proterra announced a collaboration with ROUSH CleanTech and another company in which Proterra will provide battery technology for Class 6 trucks employing Ford F-650 chassis. This agreement and the development of technology for the collaboration would appear to give Proterra a leg up in any new development of Ford’s Class 6 electric vehicles.

The ethics complaint noted that Granholm’s involvement in November 1 event in New York was likely “prohibited under the law or, at the very least, contributed to the appearance of giving improper and preferential treatment to her former employer.”

PPT’s director Michael Chamberlain told Breitbart News, “Protect the Public’s Trust raised questions about Secretary Granholm’s involvement with Proterra months ago. When presented with questions regarding behavior by its leadership that may have crossed the line, DOE’s response has been silence, when not dismissiveness. The American public deserves transparency from the officials who wield power over the public and authority over billions in taxpayer dollars.”

Steve Milloy, the founder of JunkScience.com and former advisor to the Trump/Pence EPA Transition Team, told Breitbart News that Granholm “obviously” was “in the know” and “in the talks” with Biden about becoming his energy secretary when she was still on the board of Proterra and would know how much the company would eventually be worth and how much government subsidies were at stake.

Breitbart News senior contributor and Profiles in Corruption author Peter Schweizer called Granholm’s “massive” conflict of interest “obvious and clear cut.”

“Granholm has a massive conflict of interest that is obvious and clear cut. She was not an ancillary player in this—she was a central player,” Schweizer, the president of the Government Accountability Institute, told Breitbart News. “This is the sort of corporate welfare and cronyism that should frustrate and anger everyone.”

Granholm is no stranger to controversy when it comes to taxpayer-funded government grants for electric vehicle companies.

The push for electric vehicles was “a major focus of Granholm’s two terms as governor, which she pursued by selecting particular businesses and industries to back with state taxpayer support,” Michigan Capitol Confidential notes.

As governor, Granholm approved billions of dollars in state-approved tax credits for her chosen companies, but “every single one fell far short of the job projections hailed by the Granholm administration in press releases. And a good number of the companies went bankrupt,” according to Michigan Capitol Confidential.

The most notorious of Granholm’s state-backed grant failures was the Michigan-based electric battery company A123 Systems, to which Granholm’s administration granted $141 million in state credits and subsidies in conjunction with a $249 million federal stimulus grant from the Obama administration to develop lithium ion battery technology for plug-in hybrid electric vehicles. Despite this massive government investment, A123 Systems filed for bankruptcy in October 2012. And then in 2013, the Obama-Biden administration approved the sale of A123 Systems to a Chinese company, thereby allowing China to acquire all of the U.S. taxpayer-funded electric battery research developed by the Michigan company.

Given the Biden administration’s soft stance on China and lack of clear safeguards in his infrastructure bill to prevent China from buying up U.S. assets, government subsidized companies like Proterra could be the next A123 Systems. However, it remains to be seen how much Granholm and other Biden administration officials and friends could potentially benefit in the meantime.

Here's One Simple Example Of How Absurd Build Back Better' Is

In early January 1964, barely six weeks after the assassination of John F. Kennedy, US President Lyndon Johnson delivered a speech to the American people in which he declared an “unconditional war.”

But he didn’t declare war on Vietnam. Or Cuba. Or the Soviet Union.

Johnson declared war on poverty.

And in his State of the Union address he told his fellow Americans that it would take more than “a single piece of legislation” to eradicate poverty.

So they got to work preparing a series of expensive programs to create jobs, build affordable housing, establish new entitlement programs, and invest in vocational training.

It goes without saying that this spending bonanza kicked off a steep increase in inflation. But more importantly it turns out that most of these programs were utter failures.

One of the best examples is the Job Corps, an initiative established in 1964 to provide free vocational training to young people.

The Job Corps was something of a pet project for Lyndon Johnson; he believed that “one thousand dollars invested in salvaging an unemployable youth today can return $40,000 or more in his lifetime.”

This is a long-standing argument for increased public investment in education.

And yet according to a long-term study of the Job Corps published in 2018 by the agency’s own Inspector General, the program has been a terrible investment for the American taxpayer.

The Job Corps spends $1.7 billion of taxpayers’ money each year to train around 66,000 people; this works out to be $25,000 per student per year, which is already more expensive than many public universities.



Yet Job Corps’ own Inspector General found that “more than half” of the participants in his study “did not have a beneficial outcome.”

A later report by the US Department of Labor determined that a small group of Job Corps graduates could earn, on average, $275 more per year than non-graduates who work in similar jobs.

Wonderful. But given that these jobs are at the lowest possible tax bracket, the additional tax revenue per Job Corps graduate is less than $30 per person.

That makes the Job Corps’ annual Return on Investment about 0.1%, at best. More likely it loses money and provides no real benefit to graduates.

So why would any sane individual continue investing in this program? Even the New York Times called it a complete failure and “a little bit like prison”.

And yet the Job Corps is set to be the proud beneficiary of $1.5 billion, courtesy of the Build Back Better Act that passed the US House of Representatives on Friday.

This new funding will roughly double the program’s budget.

Now, if you’re spending money and you’re getting a fantastic return on investment, then cost shouldn’t be an issue.

The problem is spending money and failing to achieve any meaningful outcome. And that tends to be the government’s track record.

LBJ believed in 1964 that investing in job training would generate a huge return on investment. But six decades of Job Corps data show that they completely failed to achieve this vision.

Instead they created a job training program that is more expensive than most public universities, yet generates no real benefit for its graduates or for taxpayers.

But politicians only think about money. If they increase an agency’s budget and throw money at an issue, they feel like they’ve done their job. They never look at performance or execution.

And this is the real problem with Build Back Better. Much has been said about the cost of the legislation, including those who say it will “cost nothing”.

(The initial cost is actually $1.7 trillion, and the long term costs look like they’ll probably top $4 trillion.)

But focusing on cost really misses the point. The real question is– will there be any return on investment?

The failure of Job Corps provides a pretty clear answer.

Build Back Better is a whopping 2,468 pages. Buried in that text, they’re creating thousands of new programs, just like Job Corps.

The politicians keep insisting that these are all “investments”. But they never conduct a honest assessment of investment performance.

They just keep writing checks and spending other people’s money with a dangerous fanaticism, and absolutely no consideration of execution and performance.

And just like LBJ’s War on Poverty, Build Back Better will likely lead to much higher inflation.
After all, it’s not difficult to predict what might happen when they spend money endlessly and generate zero return on investment.

LBJ at least got one thing right.
In his original State of the Union address in 1964, he acknowledged that the private sector (NOT the government) had the real power to create jobs, enhance prosperity, and alleviate poverty.

He argued that cutting taxes, for example, would “create new jobs and new markets in every area of this land”, and he told Congress, “We need a tax cut now to keep this country moving. . . Our taxpayers surely deserve it.”

Further, he stated, “the most damaging and devastating thing you can do to any businessman in America is to keep him in doubt and to keep him guessing on what our tax policy is.”

Today, however, politicians hold the opposite view. They believe that tax increases are the path to prosperity. They believe jobs are created through more rules, more laws, and more money in the hands of the government.

And they’re delighted to keep people guessing about tax policy, including threatening retroactive tax changes.

This entire ethos is completely destructive… not to mention highly inflationary. But we’ll tackle that issue another time.

The Smithsonian Institution's new FUTURES exhibit asks attendees when they think we will see a "single global government."

The global government question appears on a screen inside the exhibit that allows visitors to wave their hands in front of a camera to select an answer to the questions that show up.

"When might there be a single global government?" reads the question.

The answers that someone can choose from include time frames ranging from 10 years to 100 years or never.

Another question on the screen at the exhibit asks the public: "Which of these might unite different people most effectively?"

The answers that users can select include "shared world government, virtual reality travel, a universal language, an alien invasion or none of the above."

The global government question evokes parallels to the news that the Biden administration has reached an agreement with other G-20 countries on a global minimum corporate tax.

The FUTURES exhibit is located in the Smithsonian's Arts and Industries Building (AIB) in Washington, D.C., which has been closed to the public for 20 years. The museum's grand opening was Nov. 20. Some sponsors for the exhibit include Ford, Oracle, Amazon Web Services, Comcast NBC Universal and the NFL.

UK Averse To "Undue" Chinese Influence In Critical Infrastructure: Johnson

Britain does not want to see “undue influence” from potentially adversarial countries in its critical national infrastructure, Prime Minister Boris Johnson said on Wednesday when quizzed about Chinese investment in British nuclear power stations.



At Prime Minister’s Questions in the House of Commons, Johnson was asked about the proposed nuclear power station at Bradwell-on-Sea in Essex, put forward by China’s state-owned and state-operated nuclear company, the China General Nuclear Power Group (CGN).

Labour MP Matthew Pennycook said, “The government’s Integrated Review has concluded that the Chinese state poses a systemic challenge to our national security, and the prime minister has made it clear that when it comes to China, we must remain vigilant about our critical national infrastructure.”

Pennycook asked Johnson if he could confirm that plans for CGN to own and operate its own plant at Bradwell have been abandoned.

Johnson did not give a direct answer to the question, saying “there will be more information forthcoming” on Bradwell.

But he said: “Clearly, one of the consequences of our approach on critical national infrastructure in the National Security and Investment Bill is that we do not want to see undue influence by potentially adversarial countries in our critical national infrastructure. That is why we have taken the decisions that we have.”

However, the prime minister reiterated his desire to maintain a positive trade and investment relationship with China.

“What I do not want to do is pitchfork away wantonly all Chinese investment in this country, or minimise the importance to this country of having a trading relationship with China,” he said.

China’s involvement in nuclear power in the UK dates back to an agreement endorsed by then-Prime Minister David Cameron and Chinese leader Xi Jinping in 2015.

CGN also has a 20 percent stake in the Sizewell C nuclear plant in Suffolk, which is due to be built by the French power firm EDF, under a deal struck six years ago. The UK government’s appetite for Chinese investment in infrastructure has since soured.

Last year the UK government reversed its position on Huawei, banning the Chinese telecoms giant from its 5G mobile phone network.

Under mounting pressure from America and prominent Conservative backbenchers, the government has indicated a growing appetite to cut out CGN from Sizewell.

The government announced a new financing model on Oct. 26, which shifts the financial risk to consumers and provides a mechanism to squeeze CGN out of the Sizewell C project without invoking national security laws that would likely crank up tensions with Beijing.

With the new model, EDF will be able to forge new partnerships with alternative private investors before the business secretary finally signs off on the project.

Democrats thought it prudent to pass a $1.7 trillion Build Back Better Act while Americans grapple with rising food costs ahead of Thanksgiving.

President Joe Biden tasked his legislative majority with passing three major bills: the $1.9 trillion coronavirus bill, the American Rescue Plan, the $1.2 trillion so-called bipartisan infrastructure bill, or the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act, and the $1.7 trillion reconciliation bill, or the Build Back Better Act.

Together these three bills represent trillions of dollars in social welfare programs.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) and Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) passed the American Rescue Plan in March, and the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act in November, leaving the Congress to pass the Build Back Better Act.

Pelosi and Schumer plan to use budgetary reconciliation to pass the legislation. Reconciliation amends budget spending and allows for Congress to pass the bill using only a simple majority in the Senate, although the bill must solely focus on spending and taxation.

President Donald Trump used reconciliation to pass the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act in 2017; however, his GOP-led majority faced complications when trying to repeal the Affordable Care Act (ACA), as repealing the ACA’s insurance regulations would not comply with the Senate’s reconciliation rules, otherwise known as the “Byrd Rule.”

The House passed the Build Back Better Act despite unanimous opposition from Republicans and even one Democrat, Rep. Jared Golden (D-ME), opposed the bill.

Although Democrats face a lower threshold to pass the Build Back Better Act in the Senate, Democrats still have to pass the bill with a one-member majority in the Senate. This is why so much attention has been focused on Sens. Joe Manchin (D-WV) and Kyrsten Sinema (D-AZ), who have been reluctant to vote for a $3.5 trillion boost to welfare programs amid soaring inflation.

Boosts the Deficit
While Americans continue to grapple with the rising costs, including their Thanksgiving dinner, Democrats thought it best to pass legislation that would cost trillions.

The Congressional Budget Office (CBO), the nonpartisan organization tasked with scoring the cost of the Build Back Better Act, found that the legislation would cost $1.75 trillion over ten years.

However, a more accurate price tag would be $750 billion over five years, as the fiscal impact of legislation may vary drastically over ten years.

Further, the legislation may cost trillions more depending on whether Congress extends many of the programs and policies in the bill that contain arbitrary policy sunsets and expirations.

The Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget found that the legislation would cost $4.91 trillion if many of the policies and program with sunsets did not expire. This includes:

• Extending the increase in the Child Tax Credit (CTC)
• Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC)
• Universal pre-K and child care subsidies
• Affordable Care Act increased subsidies

This means the Build Back Better infrastructure agenda would add $623 billion to the deficit.

IRS Enforcement Raises Half of White House Estimate
The Biden White House hopes to increase funding of the IRS to offset a good chunk of the $1.7 trillion Build Back Better Act.

The bill would boost IRS audit enforcement by $88 billion, which the Biden White House believes would raise $400 billion.

However, the CBO found that the provision would only raise $127 billion, less than half of the White House’s estimate.

Tax Cuts for Wealthy Democrats
The mammoth legislation would increase the limitation on the state and local tax (SALT) deduction from $10,000 to $80,000.

The Trump Tax Cuts and Jobs Act initially limited this deduction to pay for the legislation.

Now Democrats have increased the deduction eight times; the primary beneficiary of this deduction are high-income Americans from mostly Democrat states such as New Jersey, New York, and California.

The House-passed provisions would amount to roughly a $625 billion tax cut for the wealthiest Americans living in blue states.

The Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget noted that “a household making $1 million per year will receive ten times as much from SALT cap relief as a middle-class family will receive from the child tax credit expansion.”

“Roughly 98 percent of the benefit from the increase would accrue to those making more than $100,000 per year, with more than 80 percent going to those making over $200,000,” the Committee added.

Amnesty and Mass Immigration Boost
The CBO analysis found that the Build Back Better Act’s amnesty and immigration expansion would could Americans $121.7 billion over ten years, and $311 billion from 2032 to 2041.

The legislation would offer fast-track green cards for only $5,000 to at least one million foreign temporary contract workers who took outsourced jobs to replace American workers. The provision would let them permanently work in the Untied States and become American citizens after five years.

Sen. Bill Hagerty (R-TN) has said that this provision would allow big tech companies such as Facebook, Google, and Microsoft to “employ a functionary limitless supply of cheaper foreign labor in place of willing, able, and qualified American workers.

The Build Back Better Act would allow illegal immigrants to be eligible for federal student aid and the enhanced child tax credit.

Climate Change Carveouts
The legislation contains $500 billion to address concerns surrounding alleged climate change, which include:

• A $2.5 billion slush fund to advance “tree equity”
• A tax credit worth up to $900 to purchase an electric bicycle. This tax credit does not phase out until a family makes $150,000 per year.
• A $10 billion “environmental justice” higher education credit program
• A tax on natural gas that rises eventually up to $1,500 per ton that could cost the America economy up to $9.1 billion and cost 90,000 Americans their jobs
• $3 billion “environmental and climate justice block grants” and billions more to green energy special interest subsidies, loans, and other carveouts
• Hundreds of billions in green energy to those who purchase expensive electric vehicles and other green products
• Establishes “consequences” for Republican states that fail to meet climate change standards and creates $4 billion “Community Climate Incentive Grants” for states that cooperate with the standards

Enhanced Obamacare Subsidies, and other Government Health Care Expansions
The Build Back Better Act would close the Medicaid coverage gap by doling out enhanced Affordable Care Act (ACA), or Obamacare, subsidies so that Americans in states that did not expand Medicaid under Obamacare could purchase plans on the Obamacare exchanges.

The legislation would expand Obamacare’s employer mandate’s definition of “affordable coverage” to define that costs no more than 8.5 percent of cinema rather than the current 9.5 percent of income rate.

The legislation would allow the federal government to negotiate the price of certain drugs in Medicare Part B and D. It would also create a $2,000 annual cap for out-of-pocket costs for seniors for Medicare Part D.

The Build Back Better Act would expand Medicare benefits to cover hearing aids. The original vision, as championed by Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT), would have covered dental, vision, and hearing benefits. Those provisions got axed after moderate Democrats balked at the original bill’s $3.5 trillion price tag.

The Build Back Better Act would establish four weeks for federal parental, sick, or caregiver leave.

The legislation would repeal the Trump-era Rebate Rule that passed rebates directly to consumers at the point of sale rather than through pharmacy benefit managers (PBMs).

The bill would provide $500 million for schools of medicine to prioritize funding based on racial demographics, and require faculty to be hired and students to be recited based on prioritizing racial and demographic goals.

The Build Back Better Act would require the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) to advertise the expanded Obamacare tax credits non-Medicaid expansion states directly to “racial and sexual minorities,” claiming they are “hard-to-reach.”

Miscellaneous Provisions
The Build Back Better Act would do a number of things not strictly limited to “infrastructure,” including:

• Removes a funding prohibition that would bar any contract, subcontract, grant or loan to any entity involved in forced labor of Uyghur Muslims in the Xinjiang province of China.
• Grant special interests to trial lawyers to modify current expensing rules to allow plaintiffs’ attorney to deduct out-of-pocket litigation costs in the year they are incurred, rather than waiting until the conclusion of the litigation.
• Impose a new tax on nicotine
• Establish a tax credit for journalists; this tax credit would be applied against Medicare employer taxes for wages paid to journalists
• The bill claims that all American minorities are “denied a full opportunity” to participate in American life.
• Promotes funding for racism and discrimination training curriculum; refers to pregnant women as pregnant “individuals”
• Subjects small businesses with $600 in transactions to backup tax withholding requirements if they fail to comply with IRS regulations
• Spends $2.5 billion for “Community-based Violence Intervention initiatives” which could be used to deny the individual exercise of the 2nd Amendment without due process
• Requires pre-K staff to have a college degree, potentially limiting labor supply of pre-K staff
• Allows taxpayer money to fund elective abortions, subsidizing plans that cover abortions, and creates new avenues for taxpayer money to be spent on pro-abortion facilities
• Fund the conversation of the Postal Service and General Services Administration vehicle fleet to electric engines at a time when there is a global microchip shortage.

Changes Coming in the Senate
The Build Back Better faces an uncertain future, as Manchin and Sinema has shown concerns about the bill’s enormous spending. Manchin has said that he opposes the four-week family paid leave provision in the bill, and has noted concerns about how the bill may impact inflation.

Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT), the Senate Banking Committee chairman, has said he opposes raising the SALT cap deduction, believing that it would favor the wealthiest of Americans and cost billions of dollars.

Democrats will need unanimous agreement on the provision to for the legislation to pass through the Senate. If the Senate modifies the legislation, then the House would have to pass the Senate-passed version to bring it to Biden’s desk to sign. If the two chambers cannot agree to the differences, then they could go to conference to resolve the differences between the two versions of the bill.

Conclusion
Although the Senate will have to figure out to pass the legislation, it could have devastating implications for Democrats’ chances to hold the House majority.

Rep. Kat Cammack (R-FL) said in a statement after the House Build Back Better vote:

Since this bill’s inception, and throughout its many changes, iterations, versions, and revisions, I’ve maintained that this bill is a heaping pile of garbage. It’s an American dream killer, sells future generations down the river, and utterly changes the moral fabric of our nation for the worse. From the very beginning, we’ve known that this bill would cost the American people trillions of dollars, yet even without a CBO score, congressional Democrats wanted to forge ahead with a vote on this disastrous piece of legislation, ignoring the dangerous implications it will have on already-soaring inflation and our economy.

“One thing I can say with extreme certainty: the House’s passage of this dumpster fire of a bill just solidified an overwhelming Republican majority in 2022. Now we sit back and wait for the record number of retirements by House Democrats; they know they won’t survive this, but they voted for it anyway. Shame on them,” she added.

Five Democratic senators have told the White House they won’t support Saule Omarova to head the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, effectively killing her nomination for the powerful bank-regulator position.

Driving the news: In phone call on Wednesday, Sens. Jon Tester (D-Mont.) Mark Warner (D-Va.) and Kyrsten Sinema (D-Ariz.), all members of the Senate Banking Committee, told Sen. Sherrod Brown (D-Ohio) — the panel’s chairman — of their opposition.

They’re joined in opposing her by Sens. John Hickenlooper (D-Colo.) and Mark Kelly (D-Ariz.).

The five senators’ offices either declined to comment or did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

No one educated and sane likes the political left. This is not a shocking revelation. As I have been outlining for many years (but specifically in the past few years), leftists are the ONLY people in the country that consistently support draconian government policies and oppressive corporate monopoly.

They are the only people that support mass censorship of opposing viewpoints through Big Tech and social media. They are the only people demanding the deplatforming and “canceling” of public personalities that dare to utter any views that are contrary to the leftist narrative. They are the only group that has a vast majority in support of the authoritarian covid lockdowns and mandates.

They are the only people that aggressively call for forced vaccinations of the populace. They are the only people demanding that the unvaxxed be removed from their jobs or face potential criminal charges. They are the only people that push for the indoctrination of school children with Critical Race Theory (which is essentially racism repackaged as academic activism). And, they are also the only people that are hyper-obsessive about propagating sexual politics in public schools.

These folks are exceedingly unlikable. One would think that they would remain on the very fringes of society where they can do little harm, but this has not been the case. Why? Well, it’s not because they are the majority, at least not in any traditional way. They are actually a minority on most issues with a few exceptions. However, they are highly organized, single minded (some would say hive-minded), and, they have the full support of our national power structures.

Here’s the thing – A lot of conservatives wrongly assume that the political left has become some kind of autonomous force within our culture that has the power to influence massive government and corporate interests, bending these interests to their will. This is simply not true and these groups do not think for themselves. The reality is that it’s the opposite dynamic; it is government, corporate and decidedly GLOBALIST institutions which have direct influence and control over the political left. Leftists are tools of the globalist system, they are not some “grassroots” movement “sticking it to the patriarchy.” They are all slaves on the globalist plantation.

Where do the leftists of the social justice cult actually derive their power from? Is it the pervasive threat of mob violence?

No, it’s not. Ask yourself, when was the last time you saw an organized police presence and riot response to leftist mobs looting and burning down cities? In almost every case the police are told to stand down by city and state officials; they are told to do nothing. I have seen actual riot control used against actual peaceful protesters at events like G20. I have witnessed it personally, and it’s not pretty.

When cops actually want to control and disperse a crowd, they have a lot of weapons in their arsenal to make this happen. The fact is, leftist riots continue for several days at a time exactly because they are ALLOWED to continue for several days at a time. When they do get arrested for their activities they are usually released without charge.

What about the prevalence of “cancel culture” and the use of online mobs to discredit or deplatform people that leftists don’t like? This has been working less and less because the rest of the public has been made aware of the tactic through the tireless efforts of the alternative and liberty media, but for around four years the leftists had free rein to destroy the lives and careers of anyone they pleased. Just look at Actress Gina Carano or Virginia police officer William Kelly as a prime examples of cancel culture in action.

The problem is, leftists would have no power to cancel anyone without the constant support of Big Tech, Hollywood, the mainstream media and international corporations. These companies don’t actually care what social justice warriors think, and they’re certainly not afraid of a tiny minority of lunatics with zero consumer leverage. Yet, they are the base of control that allows leftists to wield legitimate tools for deconstructing people’s lives. The corporate world aids the leftists because leftist goals serve corporate interests (for now).

And what about government overall? I remember a few years ago I warned people that the extreme end of the leftist spectrum would become the norm for the Democratic Party by the time Trump was out of office. I noted that people like AOC and Ilhan Omar were the intended future successors of the party and that cultists like them would dictate the Democrat platform.

Many people said that I was crazy and that the rise of Trump indicated that the opposite would happen. Now look at them.

Biden and half of all Democratic leaders spout off about white supremacy and social justice on a regular basis. The party has become exactly what is was always intended to become – a vehicle for communist subversion. Regular democrats and moderates might not agree with this kind of extreme ideological zealotry, but most of them keep their mouths shut because they are fearful of being labeled heretics and cast out.

Many say they support the cause just to avoid standing out from the herd. Being called a “bigot” or “misogynist” or “racist” only works on people that actually care and think those words still have meaning. That is to say, most social justice control mechanisms are designed to entrap other leftists, not free thinking conservatives.

Leftist activists would have no political influence at all without the avid support of leaders within the Democratic party. The politicians give leftists the teeth they use to bite the ankles of their opponents.

This brings us to the underlying center of all sociopolitical influence – The globalist foundations.

Where do leftist groups get all the funding to launch organizations like Black Lives Matter?

How do programs like social justice and Critical Race Theory find their way into college academia and all the way down to the public school system? What is the source for cultural Marxism and how did it become so pervasive in the first place?

Globalist foundations like Ford Foundation, Rockefeller Foundation, Tavistock Institute, George Soros’ Open Society Foundation, etc. are usually the source of the seed money and often the curriculum for most leftist movements. For example, Open Society and Ford Foundation, partnered with Borealis Philanthropy, were key in the creation of BLM, funneling hundreds of millions of dollars into the movement in its early days.

Ford Foundation, Open Society, Rockefeller Foundation and dozens of other globalist institutions are also deeply involved in the funding and proliferation of Critical Race Theory and gender studies programs. Once again pumping hundreds of millions of dollars into social justice groups as well as university indoctrination.

By extension, globalist institutions and international corporations have invested around $50 billion total in the development of social justice programs. Corporations implement indoctrination courses for their employees, but they also spread SJW propaganda to the public subconscious through commercials and popular media.

This has actually been going on a very long time by more subversive and secretive means. It was globalist institutions like the Rockefeller Foundation and the Ford Foundation that funded different elements of the feminist movement and “gender studies” movements from the late 1960’s onward. We can’t forget to include the Rockefeller Foundation’s large donations to ‘The Feminist Press’ and the Ford Foundation’s programs to groom teachers for inserting social justice talking points in their curriculum. This is openly admitted in Alison R. Bernstein’s book ‘Funding The Future: Philanthropy’s Influence On America’s Higher Education’. Bernstein is the vice president of Education at the Ford Foundation and the former Associate Dean of Faculty at Princeton.

It is no coincidence that almost every facet and goal of leftist activism is also listed within the goals of the UN’s Agenda 2030 initiative, which mixes some very nice sentiments about “equality” and ending poverty into a disturbing mission statement about “transforming the world” through global “inclusivity”, aggressive “sustainability” and racial and gender “equity.” If you are not familiar with these buzzwords you should be; they represent an Orwellian program of social engineering which the UN is seeking to spearhead.

I have been asking this question of leftists lately and I have yet to receive any concrete or meaningful answer: If you are supposed to be the underdogs and the revolutionaries, then why is it that all of the evil money elites are on your side? Why are the all the people you say you are fighting against giving you billions of dollars and enforcing your political will? Is it possible that corporatists, globalists and you leftists are all part of the same machine? Think about it…

The relationship between the agenda of globalists and the agenda of the political left is growing increasingly obvious and intertwined. The globalists want to dismantle traditional western structures, and so do leftists. Globalists want to dictate economic growth through carbon controls and climate change doom mongering, and so do leftists.

Globalists promote a decidedly communistic approach to private property and economy, arguing in favor of the “Sharing Economy”, Universal Basic Income (UBI) and a world in which “we own nothing and are happy.” Leftist are embracing this concept because many of them are self serving and they prefer to take what others have worked for rather than earning it for themselves.

Of course, the money elites will continue to keep their wealth and influence while the rest of us are made “equal” through the equality of poverty, but let’s not dwell on that…

What I see moving forward is that the left is becoming the Cheka, or the political commissars of the globalist “Great Reset.” They have been molded for decades for this role and their purpose is to provide an element of social force and the illusion of consensus. The interesting thing about this strategy is that it seeks to exploit people who feel as if they are “oppressed” by the existing system, or they have been taught to feel oppressed. As with any Marxist takeover, Globalists use the “have-nots” as a shield while they grab more power.

Every time any conservative criticizes the lies and manipulation of the Black Lives Matter movement, for example, we are accused of “racism.” And this is the big trick: We all know that BLM (founded by devout Marxists and funded by globalists) has nothing to do with civil rights or racial justice, it’s just a means to destroy western society and replace it with a dystopian nightmare. That’s what we are criticizing. Black lives are not the issue, globalism and communism are the issue. Social justice and leftists movements are a smokescreen for a bigger agenda, and the leftists love to be used.

Why do they do this? It’s a mistake to assume they are merely “useful idiots.” Yes, some of them are, however, I think the people that fall into the leftist cult are people that are naturally inclined to do so. They are narcissists, psychopaths, degenerates, lazy, spoiled, and weak. They are people that are generally not capable of surviving independently and they know it, so they seek out collectivist frameworks to join and feed off of.

Question: How does a mob of BLM leftists attack Kyle Rittenhouse in Kenosha and EVERY SINGLE PERSON he shoots or tries to shoot ends up having an extensive and violent criminal record? It is because leftist movements attract such people in droves (look are what a BLM advocate and career criminal just did in Waukesha, Wisconsin). They are not innocent in all of this. They don’t care if they are being exploited by the elites because they think it’s a trade for power and control they would not have otherwise. They are partners with globalism, and globalism breeds and encourages evil.

It is important to understand this dynamic going forward because I see the argument often that the globalists are trying to “divide and conquer” America. In truth, we are ALREADY divided and have been for some time. Trying to talk with and educate moderates on the facts is one thing, but there is very little point in trying to engage in diplomacy with leftists. They have already chosen a side, and it’s not the side of reason or freedom.

The passage is from Whitley Strieber’s “The Key”, a purportedly true account as related by Streiber of an encounter with a mysterious humanoid being who simply knocked on the door of his Toronto hotel room at 3am on June 6, 1998, entered his suite and told him about mankind’s place in the cosmos and his inescapable fate.



Strieber’s account may be a synthesis: partly “true” (in that he believes it occurred as he relates it), part visioning, part somnambulistic dream state. Whatever emanates from the mind of Whitley Strieber, it originates from some realm outside of our Cartesian, materialist notion of consensus reality.

He reminds me of that other prophetic visionary of yesteryear: Rudolf Steiner, whom as I wrote previously, spent much of his life in a hypnogognic state, possibly without even realizing it.
Steiner and Strieber. Odd that. They are both talking about the same thing. The idea that the souls of humanity could be captured in a technological machine, where they would wander forever, believing they have omniscience, even Godhood.

Steiner called it The Eighth Sphere and warned that sometime in the late 20th century, Arhiman would incarnate in the west and drive a global process of harvesting human souls into it. The zeitgeist of radical material reductionism would dampen, deaden and dumb down humanity to its coarsest, most basic layers: meat. Our minds, what we think is our own consciousness, our souls, self-awareness even our freewill, it’s all just an illusion. Our experts say. It’s just something that happens when our brains gas off certain neurochemicals.
However…

We can take that illusion, what we call our consciousness, and pretty soon now (just as soon as The Singularity happens), we’ll be able to upload that illusion “into the cloud”, into The Metaverse and we’ll be able to experience anything we want, for as long as we want, forever.

Who is the incarnation of Arhiman? Zuckerberg with his Metaverse ticks the boxes…
This isn’t some phantasmagorical utopian afterlife promised by Bible-banging evangelists or bomb-toting Jihadists – this is serious Scientism. Ray Kurzweil, Elon Musk, even Jeffrey Epstein were espousing that the era of Tranhumanism was arriving. We are on the cusp of becoming Post-Biological, and when that happens, all our problems will be solved.

People worry that only the rich will have access to the trappings of emergent technologies, and the masses will be left out in the cold…

That isn’t what’s happening here
What’s happening is we’re being herded into The Matrix. As I’ve written previously, in The Crypto Capitalist Manifesto, and here, that the core rationalization of the “You’ll Own Nothing And Be Happy” Great Narrative (as it is now being called) is that the rabble has to ratchet down its standard of living. The reason why isn’t about climate change or COVID.

It’s because we’re in late stage Globalism and the world’s financial and economic system is on the verge of imploding.

The people in charge, the people who’ve been doubling down on failed policies for decades, the people who brought us here with Quantitative Easing, ZIRP/NIRP, debt, Big Government and The Forever Wars, they want to stay in charge.

So they’re going to use COVID, Climate, Collectivism and Wokeness to herd the knuckle-dragging plebians into The Metaverse. That way they’ll be easier to control, they’ll be placated, and they won’t take up so much space in the real world.



In the real world, the insular, inbred elites will be zipping around in their private jets. They’ll be reimagining everybody else’s lives. Deciding how much “real world time” and resources to apportion to the rabble. Uploading intellectual Muzak directly into their brains telling them that it’s all for their own good.

There’s only one problem
This would all be well and good, in fact large swaths of the masses may even prefer a synthetic life in The Metaverse than having to deal with the vicissitudes and tribulations of reality.

However, the very construct of a Metaverse, one where:

The straightfoward brain-porting scenario involves scanning a human brain (most likely from within), capturing all of the salient details, and reinstantiating the brain’s state in a different — most likely much more powerful — computational substrate. This will be a feasible procedure and will happen most likely around the late 2030’s”

The Algorithmic Imitation (“AI”) that would be required to facilitate this and have it operate along the lines proselytized by the Kurzweil’s et al is not attainable. The reason it isn’t attainable is because of the internal contradictions of what I call “techno-utopianism”.

Two of those contradictions are these:

Firstly: If the mind is a byproduct of physical processes then consciousness is really an illusion and free-will doesn’t actually exist, because all phenomenon are simply linear outcomes of biochemistry and physics. If so then there is nothing to upload into the cloud. Nor is there any real point in doing so. If we really do live in a billiard ball universe, who cares if we can make a shot last forever? There is nobody to care and nothing to care about.

More importantly, “AI” at the level pontificated to solve all our problems, “by late in this century nonbiological intelligence on the Earth will be many trillions of times more powerful than biological intelligence” (Kurzweil, of course) is not attainable because our conception of what causes mind and thus intelligence is completely inverted.

Mind, consciousness and intelligence will never emerge from material reality because it’s the other way around.

Belief that mind emerges from matter is this era’s geocentrism. As was the case with the now antiquated idea that the Earth was the center of the universe. The heliocentric cosmos was probably understood by certain civilizations thousands of years before Giordano Bruno was burned at the stake for saying as much in the 17th century. So too, did the ancients understand that “All is mental”. The universe is vibration, probability, information, energy and conciousness first. Out of that comes what we recognize as sub-atomic particles and atoms. The quantum physicists reconnected with this truth about a century ago, the rest of society, including the priests of the Temple of Scientism and Expert Management haven’t gotten the memo, yet. If they did, they wouldn’t be trying to shoehorn our minds into a computer. They’d be trying to build computers that tap into the conscious base layer of quantum reality (note, this is not to be confused with what so-called ‘Quantum Computing’ endeavours to do).

Because of this, everything premised upon the idea of super-intelligent, top down, centralized control of the affairs of humanity, of the economy, of The Great Reset, The Great Narrative and The New Normal, all of it is doomed to failure. It simply won’t work.

The problem, however, is that in betting the farm on having an expert class of managers deploying super-intelligent AI’s to solve all of our problems, manage the rabble and control all the outcomes, means we’re headed for a Tower of Babel 2.0 moment. More on that in the next edition.

In the meantime, if you’re a plebeian, the work of the day is The Great Opt-Out, a Great Reject.

Decentralize your affairs. Take sovereignty over your own life and your own economics. Link up with others doing the same. The counter-revolutionary impulse against late stage Globalism is, in addition to spirituality, meditation and contemplative practices, embracing decentralization and public key cryptography.

It’s “Omicron” all the way down the news feed on Black Friday. We can assume more of the same will happen through the weekend and into next week. In fact, those who have been paying attention to the evolution of Pandemic Panic Theater likely realize we’re going to see Omicron fearmongering for as long as they can make it last.

Is this really an existential threat? As Paul Elias Alexander, Ph.D., noted in his most recent article, viruses tend to mutate to be more transmittable but less deadly. Until we have more data we cannot say definitively that Omicron will be even less deadly than Delta, but trends seem to point in that direction.

Whether it’s more or less deadly, we’re going to hear about the “killer new variant” for some time. The architects of The Great Reset — also known as the globalist elites, Klaus Schwab’s army, or “The New World Order” — will take advantage of Omicron just as they took advantage of Covid-19 in the beginning, and just as they tried to do with Delta. Consider Delta a test-run in propping up fear. It worked for a bit, but as doctors started admitting that the disease was more contagious but less deadly, the fear quickly faded.

Those driving The Great Reset agenda won’t let Omicron slip past so easily. They’ve already ruffled feathers across the globe, ordering government, media, and business leaders to put on their best faces of concern and bewilderment. The stock market plummeted, all news coverage was focused on the new variant, and governments started issuing emergency orders and travel bans, just as they were told to do.

There will be a whole lot of false narratives to fight in the coming weeks. This, on top of dozens of false narratives we’re already fighting, will make our jobs as disseminators of truth much more challenging. But as the globalist elites continue their onslaught on our rights while they accumulate power, the need to spread the truth has never been greater.

Two key narratives must be addressed up front, especially as we see authoritarian government figures pushing this third wave of terror onto the people. The so-called Covid-19 “vaccines” have proven to be utter failures and Omicron demonstrates this even further, but in our post-truth society it will be corporate media echoing the false claims by Joe Biden et al that the unvaccinated are the root cause of the new variant. We need to debunk this with everything we’ve got because Omicron will be the latest scare tactic used to coerce people to get jabbed.

The other key narrative is already emerging. Despite the fact that vaccines take years to develop and test, there is already an Omicron vaccine in development. Even if we dismiss the obvious question of how they were able to get something developed so quickly even as news of Omicron is still considered breaking, we cannot help but look ahead to a future where the powers-that-be will push multiple vaccines and booster shots to cover multiple variants. If you thought the first round of jabs and the emerging round of boosters was bad, just wait until you see Omicron and its successors prompt entire cocktails of Covid variant jabs.

The Great Reset agenda requires compliance and obedience. Nothing in the modern era has been able to push the American people to be more docile and dependent than this pandemic, but even as the globalist elites make unprecedented moves against our freedoms, there are still millions of Americans who are standing or will stand up to tyranny. We’re not alone. Africa has been by far the most vaccine-hesitant continent on the globe. I wouldn’t go so far as to insinuate the Omicron variant is manufactured for effect (though it’s not all that far-fetched), but IF the architects of The Great Reset had their choice of continents for a “new and deadly variant” to pop up, it would be Africa.

There are plenty of compelling theories already circulating about Omicron, but there is also an abundance of bad information. Be careful what you read. We do as much research as possible on articles and topics before posting them, but the floodgates of Omicron stories are wide open. We are facing very devious adversaries and one of their favorite tactics is to use false conspiracy theories to both steer people away from accurate ones and to discredit conspiracy theories as a whole. Use discernment when doing your own research.

The game is changing. The good news is many have already recognized the duplicity within the new narratives. The bad news is the vast majority of people aren’t even looking. They’re just absorbing whatever corporate media feeds them. We need to spread the truth far and wide if we’re going to have a chance at preventing The Great Reset from coming to fruition.

When reporting on the nomination of Brainard earlier this week, corporate media outlets all neglected to mention the nepotistic appointment, as well as Brainard’s long-standing ties to CCP influence groups.

As Treasury’s top diplomat from 2010 to 2013, Brainard oversaw eight reports that all cleared China of its well-documented practice of currency manipulation and failed to ever criticize the decision.

Beyond her failure to hold the Chinese Communist Party to account for its financial abuses, Brainard is married to Kurt Campbell, a top National Security Council (NSC) official dubbed Biden’s “Asia Tzar.”

The well-funded, controversial operations disguise themselves as language and culture initiative despite being replete with “undisclosed ties to Chinese institutions, and conflicted loyalties,” Chinese state propaganda, and intellectual property theft, according to the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ).

Chinese government officials also regard Confucius Institutes as “an important part of China’s overseas propaganda set-up.”

The Chinese state-funded entity also served as an exhibitor at the event and counted its Director-General and a Senior Consultant among speakers. The NCLC also featured panels on how American institutions could set up Confucius Institutes and Confucius Classrooms, the elementary school complement to the university-level program.

In the private sector, Campbell served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of The Asia Group, which helps businesses operate in China including on projects funded by the Chinese Communist Party.

Biden is raising rates for oil and gas drilling on public lands and waters, citing climate change.

The Biden administration on Friday proposed reforms to the country’s oil and gas leasing program that would raise costs for energy companies to drill on public lands and water, but stopped short of recommending an end to leasing on public lands.

The long-anticipated report, published by the Interior Department, recommended increasing royalty rates and rents for drillers, prioritizing leasing in areas with known resource potential and avoiding leasing in areas that can be developed to protect wildlife habitat, recreation and cultural resources.

The report completes a review that President Joe Biden ordered in January. The president directed a halt to new federal oil and gas lease sales on public lands and waters, but a Louisiana federal judge blocked the administration’s suspension in June.

Drilling on public lands generates billions of dollars in revenue but contributes to roughly a quarter of the country’s planet-warming greenhouse gas emissions. The report did not indicate that the administration would take climate change impact into account when approving new leases.

The report said the federal oil and gas program, which is enshrined in law, fails to provide a fair return to taxpayers and inadequately accounts for its harmful impact on the environment. It called for new rules to hike royalty rates, bonding rates and other fees for drillers. The minimum royalty rate is currently 12.5% for oil and gas production on federal lands.

“Our nation faces a profound climate crisis that is impacting every American,” Interior Secretary Deb Haaland said in a statement. “The Interior Department has an obligation to responsibly manage our public lands and waters – providing a fair return to the taxpayer and mitigating worsening climate impacts – while staying steadfast in the pursuit of environmental justice.”

Armstrong says his predictive Socrates computer program does not see the Marxist globalists succeeding. Armstrong says,

“They think they can take over the world and create this fictional wonderland of Marxism. It’s not going to work. Our computer is showing that they have failed. In 2022, this whole thing is going to start blowing up. Bill Gates . . . actually said that the vaccines don’t work. He said we are going to have to create a new sort of R&D.

There is too much evidence now that the vaccines do not prevent you from getting Covid or spreading it. Data coming out of Israel shows the majority of people vaccinated are the majority of the people that are dying. Gates is being confronted with this behind the curtain.”

Armstrong says the Marxist globalists are trying to create a Great Depression. Why?

Armstrong says, “The reason why they are trying to create a Great Depression is they are now desperate..."

...They created, in my opinion, this virus that numerous people I know behind the curtain were told a virus was coming. I think it was planted. I think it was created by a lab in China. This is all total B.S. It’s being used mainly to prevent people from traveling.”

Armstrong also says the Marxist globalists have a plan to default on all debt. Listen to how they are going to sell this to the public. Armstrong says,

Armstrong says rich people are buying tangible assets to get their money off the grid, and the little guy should be doing the same thing. This is why Armstrong says things such as art, collectibles, Bitcoin and gold are going up and will continue to do so. Armstrong says be careful with crypto currencies because, eventually, governments will have their own crypto currencies and will not allow competition.

As every aspect of modern life becomes more and more digitized, not just the economies of nations, but their sovereign influence will rely more and more on their command of technology, and especially the emerging technology of artificial intelligence (AI).

In the 21st-century information technology revolution, whoever reaches a breakthrough in developing AI will come to dominate the world.

“Artificial intelligence is a resource of colossal power,” Russian President Vladimir Putin said at AI Journey 2019 conference, a major Eastern European forum on AI held in Moscow on Nov. 9, 2019. “Those who will own it will take the lead and will acquire a huge competitive edge.”

Putin expressed his concern about Russia’s role in the artificial intelligence race in the forum—its two competitors, the United States and China, are far ahead of other countries in the AI race.

“We must, and I am confident that we can become one of the global leaders in AI. This is a matter of our future, of Russia’s place in the world,” Putin added.

Though the United States is still the world leader in terms of AI, China is quickly moving to take its place.

On Oct. 16, Nicolas Chaillan, the former chief software officer of the U.S. Air Force, told The Epoch Times that the United States is set to lose the AI race against communist China if Washington doesn’t act fast.

“We’re losing this battle,” Chaillan said. “If we don’t act now and don’t wake up right away … we have no fighting chance in succeeding 10 to 15 years from now.”

Chaillan suggested if the United States doesn’t take aggressive action, it will lose its advantage over communist China in the AI field within ten years.

The U.S. advantages in AI that Chaillan mentioned primarily refer to the military field. However, in the non-military field, China may have the advantage. The Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) AI applications such as digital surveillance, big data, and cloud computing have long been used to strengthen its authoritarian rule.

CCP’s ‘New Way’ of Strengthening Authoritarian Rule
The CCP has prioritized AI development in recent years, making it a “key national development strategy.” It has mandated AI into many aspects of ordinary citizen’s life, not only to surveil and control its people but also to use its massive population to spur development.

To bolster the rapid development of AI, the CCP has issued a number of supporting policies and regulations, including its “Made in China 2025” and “13th Five-Year Plan.”

In 2017, China’s State Council issued the “New Generation Artificial Intelligence Development Plan,” emphasizing the significance of AI in helping the government understand and control society.

“Artificial intelligence technology can accurately perceive, predict, and early-warn the major trends of society. [It can] grasp people’s cognition and psychological changes and proactively decide the responses. [This technology] will significantly improve the ability and level of social governance. It is irreplaceable for effectively maintaining social stability,” according to the plan.

“It will have a profound impact on government management, economic security, social stability, and global governance.”

Hong Kong finance and economics columnist Alexander Liao said the CCP believes the emerging technology revolution—artificial intelligence—can bring new life to the authoritarian system, which was on the verge of collapse.

In 2013, the CCP proposed the “Modernization of National Governance System and Governance Capacity” plan and adopted it five years later in its 2019 plenary. According to Xinhua News Agency, a Chinese state-run media, the project is “a series of institutional arrangements aimed to make China’s governance system increasingly complete, scientifically standardized, and operate more effectively.”

In 2014, the CCP launched the “Social Credit System,” which linked the social behavior of all ordinary citizens with the large-scale monitoring system in mainland China. It adopted facial recognition and big data analysis technology to carry out large-scale social control with AI.

By 2020, the system has been integrated into almost all public service fields, including employment, education, loan services, travel ticket purchases, and more. This control method has been fully popularized in the form of “health codes” during the CCP virus pandemic.

“All measures of ‘modernization of governance’ are the basis for strengthening the CCP’s authoritarian rule to ultimately achieving totalitarian control, and everything is rooted in artificial intelligence,” Liao added.

China’s AI Surveillance
Industry researcher IHS Markit said the number of cameras used for surveillance would climb above 1 billion by the end of 2021, according to a 2019 report by The Wall Street Journal. That would represent an almost 30 percent increase from the 770 million cameras today. China would continue to account for a little over half the total.

Former NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) engineer Qu Zheng told The Epoch Times that the CCP’s facial recognition technology was already mature in 2018.

“They put the entire AI system inside the cameras; there is no need for them to monitor through screens anymore,” Qu said.

According to a new analysis released in May by research service Comparitech, 16 out of the top 20 most surveilled cities are in China, based on the number of cameras per 1,000 people.

The CCP built the world’s largest video surveillance network “Skynet” in 2017. To test out the system’s capability, BBC reporter John Sudworth went to Guiyang, Guizhou, to challenge it first hand, according to Newsweek. Tasked with trying to remain undetected for as long as possible in Guiyang, a capital city of about 3.5 million in southwestern China, Sudworth attempted to evade the facial recognition system but was captured by the authorities in just seven minutes.

In April, the U.S. National Security Commission on Artificial Intelligence released a report (pdf) listing the CCP as a strategic competitor and viewed China’s development in the field of AI as a threat. “China’s domestic use of AI [surveillance and repression] is a chilling precedent for anyone around the world who cherishes individual liberty,” the author asserted.

Washington think tank Brookings Institution chairman John Allen and vice-chairman Darrell West co-authored Turning Point, a book on artificial intelligence, discussing how society can best utilize AI technology. The book mentioned creating ethical principles, strengthening government oversight, defining corporate culpability, tightening personal privacy requirements, and penalizing malicious uses of new technologies.

Qu believes that Western countries should formulate a convention in the field of AI as soon as possible. Once the CCP violates the agreement, it can impose sanctions accordingly.

US Remains A Major Investor in China’s AI Development
China’s great leap forward in artificial intelligence is driven by large-scale capital. However, despite the emerging threat, Wall Street remains the largest investor in the Chinese AI industry, according to Liao.

Almost all large tech companies in mainland China are supported by American capital. For example, Chinese tech giants Baidu, Tencent, Alibaba, and ByteDance—the parent company of TikTok—have been publicly listed and heavily invested in by Wall Street over the years. In turn, these Chinese tech giants invest heavily in China’s domestic tech companies, including Chinese AI startups.

Wall Street’s direct investment and venture capital have brought its high-tech business incubation mechanism to Mainland China, helping China create high-tech industries that compete with the United States. And yet, it is the CCP that controls these industries.

The Center for Security and Emerging Technology (CSET), a U.S. think tank, estimated the CCP’s total R&D investment in artificial intelligence in 2018 was between $2 billion and $8.4 billion.

According to CB Insights, a business analytics company, AI startups raised a record $26.6 billion in 2019, spanning more than 2,200 deals worldwide. Startups in the United States accounted for 39 percent, China 13 percent, followed by the United Kingdom 7 percent, Japan 5.3 percent, and India 4.9 percent.

AI is not a standalone technology but a part of the entire high-tech industry, including 5G, cloud computing, big data, Internet of Things, mixed reality (MR), quantum computing, blockchain, edge computing, and other new generations of information technology. AI and the high-tech industries mutually support and constitute the future of the entire social economy.

Beijing is the CCP’s primary training base for AI experts. Tsinghua University’s “Experimental Computer Science Class” was founded in 2005 by the world-renowned computer scientist Andrew Yao. And Peking University’s “Turing Talent Training Program” was started in 2017 by American computer scientist John Hopcroft who designed the training program and curriculum.

Hopcraft personally taught and trained Beijing’s AI experts from undergraduate to doctoral degrees.

Andrew Yao and John Hopcroft are both recipients of the Turing Award from the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM). The Turing Award is often referred to as the computer science equivalent of the Nobel Prize.

Yao was both a Taiwanese citizen and a naturalized U.S. citizen before he renounced his U.S. and Taiwan citizenship to obtain Chinese citizenship. He completed his undergraduate education in physics at the National Taiwan University before completing a Doctor of Philosophy in physics at Harvard University in 1972, and then a second Ph.D. in computer science from the University of Illinois in 1975. Yao has taught at MIT, Stanford University, UC Berkeley, and Princeton University. In 2004, he became a professor at Beijing’s Tsinghua University.

Hopcroft is a well-known American theoretical computer scientist. He received his master’s degree and Ph.D. from Stanford University in 1962 and 1964, respectively. He has taught at Princeton University and Cornell University. Hopcroft’s textbooks on the theory of computation (also known as the Cinderella book) and data structures are regarded as standards in the field of computer science.

Presently, there are about 2,600 artificial intelligence companies in China. Most located in Beijing’s Haidian District technology hub, working closely with Tsinghua University, Peking University, and Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics.

Controlling the Future
Artificial intelligence (AI) was initially an idea to mimic and augment human intelligence.

However, AI technologies today are rapidly proliferating around the world. They are replacing humans in manufacturing, service delivery, recruitment, communications, the military, the financial industry, and other sectors, generating enormous financial interests in many sectors, according to Harvard Business Review.

According to a 2019 report (pdf) compiled by Deloitte, a global professional services network, experts predict that using artificial intelligence (AI) at a larger scale will add as much as $15.7 trillion to the global economy by 2030.

At the same time, AI developments have also created geopolitical contests. In a meeting with students in 2017, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that “the one who becomes the leader in this sphere will be the ruler of the world,” according to an Associated Press report.

“When one party’s drones are destroyed by drones of another, it will have no other choice but to surrender,” Putin added, predicting that future wars will be fought by drones.

That same year, the CCP incorporated the AI developments into its national strategy and set goals to become the global leader by 2030.

The United States has long been the leader in the AI field. Ahead of the CCP, the Trump White House had already outlined its National AI R&D Strategic Plan in 2016.

However, the CCP has become a major competitor to the United States in the field of AI with its rapid expansion in recent years. Deloitte’s report shows that from 2015 to 2020, the average annual compound growth rate of the global artificial intelligence market was 26.2 percent, while the growth rate of the Chinese AI market during the same period was 44.5 percent. Another report by Deloitte suggests that in 2025 the scale of China’s artificial intelligence industry will exceed $85 billion.

According to Stanford University’s 2021 AI Index Report, China’s number of AI journal publications has surpassed the United States since 2017. China’s AI journal publications in 2020 will account for 18 percent of the global total, ranking first in the world, followed by the United States’s 12.3 percent. However, with respect to citations of AI conference publications, the United States still tops the world with 40.1 percent of overall citations in 2020, which is significantly ahead of China’s 11.8 percent. The number of citations corresponds to the publications’ impact on the AI fields’ research and development (R&D).

Controlling the Data
Artificial intelligence leverages computer software and machines to mimic the problem-solving and decision-making capabilities of the human mind. Its features include text, speech, and image recognition, as well as robots with specific skills. More specifically, it is “a system’s ability to correctly interpret external data, to learn from such data, and to use those learnings to achieve specific goals and tasks through flexible adaptation.”

There are two crucial elements in the broad applications of AI; the graphics processing unit (GPU) and data. The GPU determines the computing power and the quality of data determines the time required to train the AI.

The central processing unit (CPU) has been known as the brains of the computer where most calculations take place, yet it is composed of a few cores with lots of cache memory that can only handle a few software threads at a time.

A graphics processing unit (GPU), on the other hand, consists of hundreds of cores through which parallel computing is possible. In AI applications, the architecture prefers graphics processors (GPUs) over the central processing units (CPUs). GPUs are particularly suitable for performing calculations such as analysis and prediction and machine learning.

In the GPU industry, the United States has an absolute advantage due to NVIDIA and AMD.

According to Tom’s Hardware, during Q1 2021, NVIDIA commanded a whopping 81 percent of the discrete GPU market, with AMD capturing the remaining 19 percent. The two American companies dominated the discrete GPU market.

A 2019 report by the Center for Data Innovation compared the relative standing in the AI race between the United States, China, and the European Union by examining six categories of metrics—talent, research, development, adoption, data, and hardware. It finds that the United States currently leads in four categories—talent, research, development, and hardware—while China leads in the remaining two categories—adoption and data.

China uses its massive population for gathering and developing its local AI technology. Tang Bohua, a patent examiner in the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), told the Chinese publication of The Epoch Times that the CCP’s lack of regard for human rights and privacy opens up a huge data set for them, while the United States’ respect for this rights keeps data incomplete.

According to Tang, the CCP forces Chinese tech companies to collect data of its users through various means. The collected data are used to train AI, rapidly speeding up the development of its AI applications.

“Western society believes there are dangers in AI technology; hence there are moral and legal restrictions. Also, there is privacy protection. As a result, the quality of the collected data may not be good and is unlikely to produce good applications.” Tang said. “AI is not an easy industry [in America].

“However, the CCP has no such concerns.”

That lack of concern allows for wide-scale data gathering and surveillance.

China’s Internet Giants and Big Data
Three major data gatherers for the CCP are the nation’s massive internet companies: Baidu, Alibaba, and Tencent (BAT). They have long-established plans in AI applications. The companies rely on massive data and infrastructure to offset their shortcomings in the semiconductor industry.

U.S. officials previously named these companies as de facto tools of the Chinese regime. The three gather data from internet users, then feed it into a massive AI platform, according to national security expert and retired U.S. Air Force Brig. Gen. Robert Spalding.

According to “China’s Rise in Artificial Intelligence,” a 2017 report (pdf) released by Goldman Sachs, the only shortcoming of BAT is the shortage of quality chips. The report identified “talent, data, infrastructure, and silicon” as the key inputs to AI and that China has the “talent, data, and infrastructure [but the silicon] needed to fully embrace AI.”

In terms of infrastructure, the three internet giants have their own complete platforms for collecting data and attracting experts. In addition, China’s nearly one billion internet users give BAT a massive advantage on data.

According to CCID Consulting, China’s largest think tank, the computing power required for AI training will increase exponentially due to the accelerated data growth rate.

Internet giants will require thousands of petabytes of data volume, while smaller enterprises will require petabytes, and personal data will require terabytes. One petabyte is equal to 1,024 terabytes.

Big data is the foundation of machine learning and the key to rapidly developing AI. The CCP obtains a massive amount of big data with the cooperation of China’s tech giants.

Developing Advanced Chips
According to the 2017 Goldman Sachs report, the only shortcoming of BAT is the shortage of quality chips. In fact, the chip production issue is not exclusive to the AI field but is also a problem in China’s high-tech industry. China is incapable of producing advanced chips and primarily relies on purchasing them overseas.

According to the Deloitte report, since 2015, chips have become China’s largest import item. Before 2015, China’s chip imports were close to oil imports, but suddenly, it more than doubled its chip imports to $220 billion in 2015. This figure exceeded $300 billion in 2018 and $350 billion in 2020. And its chip imports increased more than 30 percent from January to May 2021.

However, all three companies (BAT) announced new developments in 2021 for domestic chip manufacturing.

On Oct. 19, Alibaba unveiled a self-use Yitian 710 chip to help the development of its cloud computing business. The chip was reportedly manufactured using an advanced 5nm process.

In August, Baidu announced its self-developed second-generation Kunlun AI chip had achieved mass production using a 7-nanometer process. The chip is said to be suitable for cloud services, autonomous driving, intelligent transportation, and other related uses.

In July, Tencent opened online job recruitment related to chip R&D in AI and video codec, mainly cooperating with its gaming and online video businesses. In addition, Tencent has also invested in chip companies, such as Shanghai-based startup Enflame Technology, which designs deep learning chips for cloud data centers and AI acceleration products.

From January to May this year, China produced a total of 139.92 billion chips, an increase of 48.5 percent compared to the same period last year; the total number of imported chips during the same period was 260 billion, an increase of 30 percent compared to the same period last year.

Closing the Gap
The Pentagon’s efforts to maintain a strategic advantage against China in the domains of artificial intelligence and machine learning are being undermined by bureaucratic waste and a lack of urgency, according to a former Department of Defense (DoD) cybersecurity official.

Chaillan said his departure from the U.S. Air Force was to protest the slow progress of the U.S. military’s technological transformation. He said he did not want to watch China surpassing the United States.

He said that Beijing is taking the lead in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and network technology and is moving towards global dominance. In an interview with The Epoch Times, Chaillan stated that the U.S. artificial intelligence is still ahead of China in general but rapidly losing its edge.

According to Chaillan, the Pentagon was not doing enough to make contractors comfortable with working with the U.S. military partially due to a lack of transparency, resulting in big private companies such as Google abandoning government contracts and development opportunities. Beijing, in contrast, can mandate any company inside its borders to develop technology in any direction it chooses, thus leading to much more rapid development.

In addition, Chaillan is strongly critical of the bureaucracy of the Pentagon and plans to testify to Congress in the future about the threat the CCP poses to America’s superiority.

The Centre for Security and Emerging Technology (CSET) at Georgetown University says China’s People’s Liberation Army is using artificial intelligence to simulate the invasion of Taiwan, according to an October report. Among other military objectives such as intelligence analysis, information warfare, autonomous vehicle navigation, and target recognition, the research showed that the Chinese military hopes to counter U.S. military superiority with AI.

A researcher at Taiwan’s National Defense Security Research Institute, named Xie Peixue, said both the Chinese civilian and military players use video games such as Command: Modern Operations to simulate the invasion of Taiwan, according to Taiwanese news outlet Democratic China on Nov. 1.

Command: Modern Operations is a war simulation video game using AI, enabling players to simulate every military engagement from post-World War II to the present day and beyond. Although it can simulate tactical attack scenarios, strategic scale operations are also possible.

Xie pointed out that this simulation software has a commercial version and a professional version. Not only are there many players in the private sector, but the U.S. military and national defense companies also use the professional version for wargames and military simulation analysis.

“The use of artificial intelligence in wargames is the future trend,” Xie suggested that both the U.S. and Chinese military are trying out AI in war simulation, but there is still a long way to go.

Big data is the key to AI’s research and development; the more relevant data, the better the AI is trained.

“The biggest advantage of the U.S. military is that they collect a large amount of data directly from the battlefield and actual combat training every day for AI training,” Xie said. “The AI trained in this way is more in line with the needs of the real battlefield.” He added that Beijing’s reliance on foreign software stems from its lack of battlefield experience and data.

Data is critical to AI learning. The more data available, the better the AI can learn. And China has one of the largest data sets in the world, though it’s not necessarily for military use.

In addition to strategic AI applications, the Chinese military is also catching up in tactical applications such as unmanned shooting systems, modern robot fighters, and airspace simulators. Although the U.S. military started its R&D 20 years ago, the CCP is catching up at full speed with the rapid development of artificial intelligence and machine learning systems in recent years.

Chinese Lieutenant General Liu Guozhi believes that AI will accelerate the process of military transformation and bring fundamental changes to troop allocation, combat styles, equipment systems, and combat effectiveness, even triggering a profound military revolution.

According to Liu, the CCP’s “information revolution” will advance in three stages: digitization, networking, and intelligence. Presently, the CCP military has successfully introduced information technology into its internet platforms and systems. At the same time, it is gradually advancing the integration of command, control, communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance capabilities, seeking to increase its warfare capability further.

Amid China’s accelerated progress in AI, Chaillan believes that if the United States does not take immediate proactive action in winning the AI race, it will have “no fighting chance in succeeding 10 to 15 years from now,” as the rules of the game will have changed.

As the Senate prepares to vote on President Joe Biden’s Build Back Better agenda, which already passed in the House, something disturbing has been discovered.

The $1.7 trillion bill would actually reward cartels and child traffickers for smuggling more children into the United States, GOP sources have said, Breitbart News reported.

The plan would offer as much as $3,600 per year to the guardians of all children, which would include children brought to the United States who have no Social Security number.

The former acting commissioner of Customs and Border Protection, Mark Morgan, spoke to “The National Desk” reporter Jan Jeffcoat about the issue.

“There’s also a provision in there for a tax credit for illegal aliens who have children that are in the U.S.,” he said. “Think about that you can illegally enter our borders as a family, and then you’re going to be rewarded by being paid to have your kid here illegally.”

He argued that the Build Back Better plan sends a message to those who want to enter the nation illegally that “our borders don’t matter.”

“This is going to impact American taxpayers. They just don’t realize their taxpayer dollars are going to continue to give state and federal benefits to millions and millions of illegal aliens here,” he argued. “This is going to act as an incentive for more illegal immigration negatively impacting our border security and impacting every aspect of our nation’s public health safety and national security.”

A source informed Breitbart News that it is unlikely that the provision will be taken out of the Senate version of the bill by the parliamentarian.

And that will cause an economic incentive for cartels to continue human trafficking of children. “Whatever opportunity you create for the cartels, they will fill,” the source said.

“They are going to look at that [payment] structure and say, ‘We can exploit that.’ There are people now who, despite wanting to come in legally can’t afford the thousands of dollars we might charge them. Now, even if they can’t afford it, they were happy to take them north because once we get them in, then the government will help pay us and the coyotes for bringing them here. It’ll take the form of monthly checks,” he said.

“You’re gonna have the equivalent of having a government backed, illegal-alien enforcement mafia where the same people who bring the [migrants] here will now be coming around to pick up their monthly checks … The same people who are connecting the cartels to the [drug] gangs are going to use those same gangs as enforcers to collect cash and send it back to the cartels. They’re gonna put it in the same money laundering scheme that they’ve already got.

“So you’re going to incentivize some of the more violent gangs that exist and the cartel members directly in some cases, to come by the new homes of these illegal aliens in the U.S. and harass them and take the taxpayers’ checks,” the source said.

And the source believes that the recipients of the monthly checks will then pay those checks to the cartels who smuggled them into the United States.

“They will never be able to to walk away from in the same way that a little Bodega couldn’t walk away from the mob in New York City … They won’t be able to get out from the cartels. They’re gonna continue paying those taxpayer-funded checks in perpetuity … [because they need the cartels to] bring their friends and family up north,” the source said.

“They know what’s going on,” the source said of Democrats. “But they know that they can’t say what their true goal is, which is actual open borders with open, uncontrolled migration both ways. And this is a step toward getting rid of borders.

“It’s a globalist mindset and it welcomes anything that moves toward open borders,” he said.

Remember that big release of 50 million barrels of oil from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve? Let us jog your memory: it was the hallmark solution proposed by the Biden administration to try and address soaring energy costs for Americans.

Well, it turns out that most of that oil is going to wind up in China and India, Fox News reports.

Both countries have been "actively purchasing U.S. sour crude oil produced in the Gulf of Mexico".

Sour crude is appealing to foreign buyers due to its affordable price, which comes from its high sulfur content. This also makes it tougher to refine and process.



18 million barrels of the 50 million released have already been approved for sale. 32 million barrels remain and will be "intended for U.S. consumers to alleviate increased demand," Fox News reports.

China, India, Japan, South Korea and the United Kingdom are all tapping into their petroleum reserves as well.

The White House commented: "The President has been working with countries across the world to address the lack of supply as the world exits the pandemic."

The administration continued: "The president stands ready to take additional action, if needed, and is prepared to use his full authorities working in coordination with the rest of the world to maintain adequate supply as we exit the pandemic."

Describing the House passage of the massive ‘Build Back’ spending bill this past weekend, of which $550 billion is earmarked for combatting climate change, Pelosi said “For me, it’s a religious thing.”

She explained, “I believe this is God’s creation and we have a moral obligation to be good stewards.”

Pelosi contuned, “But if you don’t share that view, you must share the view that we have an obligation to future generations. So we’re very excited about what is in there and it is paid for.”

The world’s greatest polluters are set to receive $2 billion in climate aid. It pays to pollute.

The Daily Mail reports:

China and India are set to receive a £1.5 billion climate aid windfall despite scuppering a COP26 deal on reducing reliance on coal power.

Richer countries agreed to double funding for developing nations to prepare for global warming at the Glasgow conference earlier this month.

Despite having two of the fastest growing economies in the world, the UN designates China and India as ‘developing states’

Analysis shows that the two countries received a total of about £700 million from developed countries in 2019, the latest figures available, as well as millions more from investment foundations and private donors.

But the pledge made in Glasgow could see their ‘adaptation’ funding allowances rocket as high as £1.5 billion – with the British taxpayer footing as much as £38 million of the bill.

China and India will enjoy the bonanza despite helping to water down a key COP26 pledge. Instead of promising to ‘phase out’ the use of coal, the conference agreed only to ‘phase down’ its use.

The dilution of the pledge left COP26 President Alok Sharma frustrated and close to tears.

Critics said the system required reform. John O’Connell, chief executive of the TaxPayers’ Alliance, said: ‘The net zero target must not see working taxpayers landed with the bill. With the highest tax levels in 70 years, family finances are already strained and cannot be expected to pay these green grants to wealthy nations.

There are numerous challenges for the United States and many Americans would rather spend the country’s money in the US than overseas.

A survey released this week has revealed that half of the French public believe in the “Great Replacement” theory and that elites in politics and business are attempting to replace the native population of France.

The Ifop survey, which asked a number of questions regarding immigration and topics such as Islamisation, found that 50 per cent of the French believe in the Great Replacement, a theory coined by French writer Renaud Camus to describe the demographic replacement of native peoples by mass migration.

Nearly seven in ten of the respondents to the survey, or 69 per cent, stated they believed there were “too many” immigrants in France, while 62 per cent said that immigration was the primary reason for insecurity issues in the country, French news magazine L’Obs reports.

In the Ifop survey, respondents were also asked about French identity and Islam, with 70 per cent stating that France should remain a Christian country, while 68 per cent said that Islam was a threat to French identity.



Crime, particularly that involving underage illegal immigrants, has become a major problem in certain parts of France and the surge in minor migrant criminality was highlighted earlier this year by French Senator Henri Leroy.

“Just look at the panorama of delinquency. There is a worrying increase which seems exponential. The number of minor migrants was 30,000 in 2015 and 60,000 in 2018, and the associated problems are increasing at the same rate,” Leroy said in May.

“In Bordeaux, 40 per cent of delinquency is attributable to them, and the proportion was 24 per cent two years ago. The problem grows and threatens to infiltrate all sections of delinquency, trafficking, banditry… We need to stop this bleeding,” he added.



The survey was conducted by Ifop for the anti-hate groups the International League against Racism and Anti-Semitism (LICRA) and the magazine Le Droit de Vivre in response to the dramatic rise of the conservative writer and presidential hopeful Eric Zemmour in polling for next year’s French presidential elections.

Zemmour has been clear in his stance against mass migration and has referenced the Great Replacement theory in the past.

He has also been firmly opposed to the Islamisation of France and was placed under investigation over remarks he had made at a conference in 2019 when he stated: “In France, as in all Europe, all our problems are aggravated by immigration — schools, housing,
unemployment, social deficits, public order, prisons — but all our problems are also aggravated by Islam. It’s double punishment.”

Earlier this month, a hate crime trial for Zemmour began over comments he had made on French television regarding minor migrants last year.

“They have nothing to do here, they are thieves, they are murderers, they are rapists, that’s all they are, they must be sent back and they must not even come,” Zemmour said while appearing on the television programme Face à l’info on broadcaster CNews.
