Democrats to scale back Treasury's IRS bank reporting plan, raise threshold from $600 to $10,000

Republicans and members of the banking industry have been in an uproar since Senate Democrats unveiled their plan that would expand the IRS' snooping powers.

Updated: October 19, 2021 - 2:53pm

Senate Democrats are set Tuesday to announce a scaled-down version of the Biden administration's proposal to crack down on Americans it suspects are dodging taxes.

The administration's original proposal was greeted with overwhelming opposition from fiscal conservative groups, the banking industry and other over concerns about financial privacy.

The initial plan, conceived by the Treasury Department and Senate Democrats, would have allowed the Internal Revenue Service access to information on bank accounts that had at least $600 worth of annual deposits or withdrawals.

The new proposal will still allow the IRS to access information on accounts that transfer or receive more than $10,000 annually. However, it will exclude all wage income from counting toward the $10,000 threshold.

While Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen has been adamant in her position that the new measure would amount only to essentially a technical set of changes, critics of the proposal argue that the new rules would massively expand the IRS's ability to snoop on the accounts of Americans.

The goal of the proposal, broadly, is to enable the IRS and Treasury to better identify wealthy tax evaders, which in turn will assist congressional Democrats and the Biden administration to pay for the proposed trillion-dollar spending plans of which it is a part.

GOP attorneys general from more than a dozen states have signed a letter to President Biden and Yellen calling the plan "unacceptable, illegal, and contrary to the well-founded constitutional principles against illegal searches and seizures."

Quinn: Living In A Potemkin World, Part 2

TUESDAY, OCT 19, 2021 - 04:22 PM
Authored by Jim Quinn via The Burning Platform blog,

In Part One of this article I described the fraudulent world we live in, and postulated we are moving from Huxley’s “soft” dystopia towards Orwell’s boot on the face “hard” dystopia. This pandemic of fear initiated by the Davos crowd over the last two years is following the path I have laid out.

“Political language is designed to make lies sound truthful and murder respectable, and to give an appearance of solidity to pure wind.” George Orwell
All the examples of suppression and silence regarding the truth pale in comparison to the massive conspiracy of silence related to this build back better pandemic scheme. From the outset, when ZeroHedge and a few other alternative media outlets postulated the virus had escaped from the Wuhan bio-weapon lab, a conspiracy of silence was initiated to cover-up the facts. Twitter crushed anyone who put forth this possibility and suspended ZeroHedge from posting for months.

Why the cover-up to protect the communist party of China? As usual, it’s about the money. These media companies, universities, politicians, mega-corporations, Biden and Fauci are all bought off by China. The lies and misinformation continue to this day, as China’s control of major players within our government, media, academia, and corporate America is deep and broad based.

The silence and suppression of the lab leak theory was necessary so Biden and his globalist backers, along with their media propaganda outlets and social media tyrants, could blame Trump for allowing the virus to spread across the U.S. Their impeachment farce, to take the focus off Biden’s traitorous actions in the Ukraine, had dissipated under an avalanche of lies and misinformation, just like Russiagate.

Mass murderer Fauci, the chief funder of weaponizing the China flu, and his cohort of Chinese funded “experts” lured Trump into signing his own death warrant by shutting down the country over a flu, less lethal to those under 50 than the annual flu. After achieving the goal of striking fear into the masses, the lies, falsities, mis-truths and silencing of truth tellers has taken on a new dimension never imagined by Orwell, Huxley or Bernays.

Dehumanizing the populace through mandatory masking, even though Fauci scoffed at the need for masks in March 2020, CDC studies showed masks don’t stop viruses, numerous scientific studies proved masks don’t work, and the cases rose exponentially in January 2021 in all areas with mandatory masking requirements, was the goal of the globalists. The media publicity campaign to promote masks and lockdowns was pure propaganda, based on zero facts and no data.

The PCR test was engineered to produce cases that did not exist, because fear was necessary to allow mail-in ballots for the election, and to destroy the economy before the election. Any doctor or scientist questioning the validity of the PCR test was cancelled and censored. There is complete silence in the media about the FDA pulling its EUA for the PCR test as of December 31, because it can’t distinguish between covid, the flu, or common cold.

The most blatant cover-up and silence about the truth is regarding these experimental gene therapies, framed as vaccines, and designed to enrich Big Pharma, corporate hospital chains, the media pushing the disinformation, government lackeys like Fauci and his pals who will be rewarded handsomely for their acquiescence, doctors paid off to keep silent, and scientists getting big fat grants from Big Pharma.

This might be the most despicable, evil undertaking in the history of our country. And it is still in its infancy. Even though there have been 63 scientific studies proving invermectin, a safe and cheap drug prescribed to human beings for decades whose inventor received a Noble Prize in medicine, drastically reduced the symptoms of covid and essentially ended the pandemic in India, it has been scorned, ridiculed, and suppressed by the media, Fauci, Walensky and Big Pharma.

If they admitted that it works, their EUA for the jabs would be invalidated, and the tens of billions in profits would dry up and not be able to be spread around to the co-conspirators. Money talks and the deaths of hundreds of thousands around the world is a small price to pay for increasing the wealth of the oligarchs and their hatchet men. Twitter & Facebook declare any positive factual information about ivermectin or hydroxychloroquine to be misleading and false.

They have banned dozens of doctors and journalists from presenting alternative views from the approved globalist narrative. Alex Berenson, Naomi Wolff, Ron Paul, Front Line Doctors (FLCCC), NY Post, and dozens of other truth telling people and organizations have been de-platformed and denied their First Amendment rights because mega-media corporations say they have a monopoly on the truth.

Joe Rogan recovered from covid in a few days using ivermectin and a couple other Front Line Doctor recommended treatments. CNN and the rest of the compliant left-wing media ridiculed him for taking horse de-wormer. One problem for them. Rogan has a bigger and more listened to platform than these dying legacy media echo chambers. He destroyed shill faux doctor Sanjay Gupta and fake news CNN and proved they are nothing but lying mouthpieces for the corrupt authoritarian establishment.

Fauci, Big Pharma, and the media lied about the efficacy of these “vaccines”, which aren’t even vaccines. The lies about them being almost 100% effective in keeping you from contracting covid were perpetuated by Fauci, Biden and Big Pharma in early 2021. No questioning of the trial data was allowed. We now know their Big Lie has been utilized to demand compliance, institute vaccine passports, and force companies to mandate vaccines. And now they are coming for your children, even though children have virtually 0% risk of dying from covid. They have doubled down on forcing these jabs upon those who refuse to participate in this dangerous experiment.

The truth is these vaccines do not work as advertised. They do not protect you from catching the virus, spreading the virus, being hospitalized by the virus, or dying from the virus. Its efficacy is so poor, they are demanding you get a booster after six months. The booster’s efficacy will wear off even sooner. An eternity of booster shots are just what Big Pharma and the Fauci worshipers want.

Real vaccines eradicate disease (smallpox, polio). This vaccine creates variants, injures people, kills people within weeks, and appears to be creating a long-term ADE (anti-body dependent enhancement) problem for the millions who have put their trust in a Big Pharma experiment, where they face no liability for any death and injuries they cause. Data is emerging in Germany & the UK showing the overall mortality rate, not due to covid, rising rapidly. You won’t hear that on any media outlet, but the facts cannot be denied.

Part 1 of 2

Part 2 of 2

As Biden and his fear mongering leeches continue their all-out assault on our liberties, freedoms, right to make a living, and right to choose what medicines we put in our bodies, their time is running out. Half the country is chanting “Let’s Go Brandon” as this Potemkin Pandemic fizzles out, no matter how hard the fake news media, Raggedy Ann Psaki, Dementia Joe, and Flip Flop Fauci, attempt to keep the fear and loathing at an elevated level. Real journalists and real medical “experts” would be congratulating the American public for the tremendous success in the 52% decline in cases over the last month, and the 25% reduction in deaths. But facts don’t align with their narrative, so the plunge in cases is never mentioned.

In August, the attack dog media were overjoyed by the rise in cases in Florida. DeathSantis was trending on Twitter and stories of imminent disaster were widespread because DeSantis made vaccine mandates and masking mandates illegal, while telling Biden to shove his totalitarian measures. It’s funny that there is complete silence about the 91% plunge in cases over the last two months and 62% crash in deaths in the last month. With a population over 21 million, Florida has one of the lowest rates of covid per million people in the nation, with no authoritarian measures or mandates, and a vaccine rate in the middle of the pack. Floridians are living their lives like normal.

As the shrill cries for everyone to be vaccinated continue from the “experts”, a strange occurrence seems to be happening. Let’s examine the facts, without bias or spin. Vermont is the most vaxxed state in the country, with 70.4% of their population fully vaxxed. How could their cases be at an all-time high, exceeding the winter peak, and still rising? Inquiring minds would want to know whether this means the vaccines don’t work or are they actually the cause of the new cases. Don’t expect an investigative report from 60 Minutes, Jim Acosta, or Rachel Maddow. They are too invested in the narrative and highly compensated to report what they are told to report.

Now to the other side of the ledger. West Virginia is the least vaxxed state in the country, with only 40.8% of their population vaxxed. The liberal elite MSNBC junkies scorn and ridicule these uneducated “hillbillies” and their vaccine “hesitancy”. How could their cases fall by 45% over the last month with such a low vaxx rate? It’s almost as if the vaccines have absolutely no impact on the level of cases or deaths. The national rise in cases that started in August, peaked in September, and will dwindle to virtually nothing in November, happened when the majority of adults were already vaxxed.

Since the beginning of this plandemic, cases have been purposely overstated by a factor of at least five; deaths attributed to covid have been overstated by a factor of at least ten, as only 6% of deaths can be attributed solely to covid; vaccine effectiveness is less than 50% and only lasts a few months; the adverse reactions and deaths from the vaccine appearing in the VAERS database is understated by at least a factor of ten as the medical industry desperately covers up the damage being inflicted on humanity.

Natural immunity from having the virus is at least ten times stronger and long lasting than these vaccines, but the paid-off medical “experts” purposely ignore these facts. The question is why the lies? For what purpose are the lives of millions being purposely destroyed? What is the true agenda? I think Huxley and Orwell capture the gist of the situation in their own brilliant assessments of mankind.
“A really efficient totalitarian state would be one in which the all-powerful executive of political bosses and their army of managers control a population of slaves who do not have to be coerced, because they love their servitude.” Aldous Huxley

“All tyrannies rule through fraud and force, but once the fraud is exposed, they must rely exclusively on force.”George Orwell

There are millions of Americans loving their servitude, voluntarily masking, begging for their booster, unquestioningly believing everything Fauci utters, demanding vaccine mandates and passports, and never entertaining the possibility they have been lied to and led to slaughter by their government leaders. These people are weak minded, easily manipulated, and will never question their totalitarian masters.

But, there is a segment of the population, of probably less than 20%, who are capable of seeing through this entire fraudulent episode and choosing to resist the tyranny subverting our country. There are still real journalists (Berenson, Greenwald), non-compromised doctors (Robert Malone, Pierre Kory, Peter McCoullough), and alternative media websites who day in and day out fight to expose the fraud, lies, and deception engulfing our world.

Now that this fraudulent hijacking of our civilization has been exposed by the few remaining truth tellers, the totalitarian globalists are enacting their agenda exclusively through force. The vaccine mandates and passports are designed to coerce the resistant into falling into line, or their jobs, income and livelihood will be destroyed. Biden and his handlers have no issue with overriding the Constitution with dictatorial proclamations designed to intimidate companies and citizens into submission.

Defiance and protests are met with clubs, pepper spray, rubber bullets, and imprisonment. When the Attorney General considers parents voicing their displeasure at school board meetings as domestic terrorism, while judging ANTIFA and BLM burning cities and killing cops as peaceful protests, you know there is a much more diabolical aspect to this farce.

At first this Build Back Better Great Reset agenda seemed far fetched and seemed like a conspiracy theory. But, as we know, virtually every conspiracy theory over the last decade has proven to be true. It is now undeniable to anyone with critical thinking skills, which eliminates every CNN, MSNBC, NPR, Washington Post, NY Times acolyte, this globalist agenda is real and in danger of succeeding. The brazen disregard for all societal and cultural norms, the rule of law, borders, individual rights, and the Constitution, are proof this is an ongoing coup designed to tear down the foundations of our society, so a new world order based on communistic principles can be installed.

How else can you explain the purposeful opening of our southern border to third world vagrants; the purposeful destruction of our domestic energy industry; the forced firings of tens of thousands in the medical industry, transportation industry, military, law enforcement, and other vital industries due to vaccine mandates for a vaccine that doesn’t work; the destruction of the job market through welfare incentives to not work; subversion of the military through wokeness and purging of anyone who voted for Trump; purposely generated massive inflation through Federal Reserve money creation; bankrupting the nation with $3.5 trillion social engineering green new deal bills; and wreaking havoc on global supply chains with inane policies and restrictions.

These men seek power for its own sake. They want complete control over the world and a reduced population of slaves. As individuals who understand the truth of what’s going on, we can often feel alone and abandoned. This is part of their plan. They want us to abandon hope. They want to separate us from others of like mind. They know we outnumber them, so they crack the whip in order to make us bow down to their demands. But once one stands up, others will follow, and then the tide will turn.

The time is now to make our stand. I sense a turning of the tide, but these demonic forces will not stand down or surrender. They must be defeated and made to pay the price for their traitorous deeds. For now, passive resistance against vaccine mandates by refusing to get the jab, banding with key co-workers to sabotage corporate efforts to bully employees into taking the jab, boycotting all businesses requiring vaccination, starving the beast by consuming less, and creating an alternative pure blood universe where those relying on their immune systems join together and support each other.

Raise your own food, if possible. If not, make friends with local farmers. Form coalitions with like minded people. Barter and cut the government out of the transaction. The creation of on-line job sites only catering to employers who do not require the vaxx will flourish. Doctors and nurses who have been fired for refusing to bow down to Big Pharma need to form their own practices, appealing to un-vaxxed patients. None of this will be easy, but adherence to the truth and steadfastness in our opposition to these Potemkin fascist overlords is vital to our ultimate triumph over evil.

The truth matters. The truth is not subject to opinions. Truth is based on facts. If we forsake facts, we forsake freedom. Just because a large swath of the populace, through the manipulation of their minds by the totalitarian propagandists, have abandoned truth, doesn’t mean we have to accept their perverted inversion of the truth. When you abandon the truth, you submit yourself to the forces of tyranny, where facts are meaningless and collective trust is lost. Any malevolent act can be rationalized, because the truth no longer exists as a guidepost for society. The truth cannot be bought. The future of our country and the world hangs in the balance. It can go terribly wrong or we can cling to the truth and make our last stand against the dark forces attempting to destroy us.
“Being in a minority, even in a minority of one, did not make you mad. There was truth and there was untruth, and if you clung to the truth even against the whole world, you were not mad.”George Orwell

“You shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you mad.” Aldous Huxley

Luongo: There Is No Getting Off Europe's Elevator To Hell

TUESDAY, OCT 19, 2021 - 06:30 AM
Authored by Tom Luongo via Gold, Goats, 'n Guns blog,

The European Union has been, in the immortal words of Private Hudson from Aliens, “… on an express elevator to hell, going down,” for a long time now.

From the day of then ECB President Mario Draghi’s “We will do whatever it takes” speech in July 2012 to today, the EU has chosen a path of fiscal, foreign and monetary policy insanity that has lead it directly to where it is today, the sick man at the geopolitical table.

The most recent missive from the great Alistair Crooke over at Strategic Culture Foundation has some very choice words for Europe as well as his always trenchant analysis.
“Two events have combined to make a major inflection point for Europe: The first was America’s abandonment of the Great Game ploy of attempting to keep the two Central Asian great land powers – Russia and China – divided and at odds with each other. This was the inexorable consequence to the US’ defeat in Afghanistan – and the loss of its last strategic foothold in Asia…
Crooke lays out the fundamentals which led to the formation of AUKUS and the recent application of a more rapid depreciation curve for NATO.

Underscoring the divisions within the U.S. policy establishment which left Europe, especially France, twisting in the wind with the shift in priorities, Crooke quotes George Friedman of Stratfor, who argued recently on Polish television that NATO serves no real current purpose for a U.S. that finally acknowledges China, not Russia, as its biggest threat.

Since Friedman and Stratfor are as deep state as they come, you should always read Friedman’s publicly available ‘analysis’ as an operations manual for U.S. foreign policy. It’s the real official policy said out loud.

The key to understanding the splits within the western global order represented by the new AUKUS Alliance between the U.S., Australia and the U.K. is the following:
… the EU, Friedman has made ruthlessly clear, is not viewed by the US security élite as a serious global player – or really as much more than one ‘punter’, amongst others, buying at the US weapons supermarket.
The submarine contract with Australia however, was a centerpiece to Paris’s strategy for European ‘strategic autonomy’. Macron believed France and the EU had established a position of lasting influence in the heart of the Indo-Pacific. Better still, it had out-maneuvered Britain, and broken into the Anglophone world of the Five Eyes to become a privileged defense partner of Australia. Biden dissed that. And Commission President [Ursula] von der Leyen told CNN that there could not be “business as usual” after the EU was blindsided by AUKUS.
Honestly, though, I really have to question whether they were actually “blindsided by this?” If people like von der Leyen and Macron are this angry over AUKUS then it’s clear that they, like Pelosi and Schumer here in the U.S., have not one clue as to what the plans actually are.

They are just mostly uninformed midwit lieutenants.
Crooke’s points, however, are well taken that the U.S. built the EU with the idea of it being the soft-power projector to complement the U.S.’s real (military and financial) power projector. I’ve been saying for years now that the EU’s technocratic miasma of suck was designed to “California-ize” the world the same way that state has ruined the U.S. from within.

But that only works if the U.S. also agrees to all of the EU’s moronic Climate Change policy.

So, Davos installed O’Biden to get things back on track when Trump and Brexit put their plans on the rocks by pulling out of the Paris Accords, the TTIP, the TPP and all the rest of his very important moves like shaking down NATO for money and questioning its purpose.

Clinton was supposed to perfect this Atlanticist, two-pronged Great Truncheon of Held to subjugate the lesser beings and she lost. The U.S. had the military power backed up by the EU strangling the world economy with useless ESG regulatory minutia gumming up the works worldwide.

The EU’s part was really the most important because with it, the combination of the post-WWII monetary and transnational institutions, the Fed calling the shots for the world’s economy, and the ECB destroying internal opposition to the EU itself, all of those regulations are borne much more easily by established countries/businesses than emerging ones.

These costs drain capital when it is most needed, during the rapid expansion and growth periods. They are massive barriers to entry into new markets, anti-competitive to the core and designed to roll market share up across all important sectors into the waiting arms of the people writing the campaign and lobbyist checks.

Moreover, it also ensures that all capital raises are bloated to contain these costs as well, creating bureaucracies and whole divisions (HR anyone?) which sap the country/company of its dynamism and leave it vulnerable to internal strife and attack while enriching the bookrunners for these ridiculous deals spinning the hamster wheel that much faster.

Now, however, Davos is scrambling to maintain the EU’s position through the O’Biden Administration while inertial forces within the U.S. and UK are breaking off from them.

This is why I’m more convinced than ever that Wall St. and The Fed are no longer on board with the Davos Great Reset.

Before I go there I need to address Crooke’s other ‘event’ that forced this change by O’Biden.
The second ‘leg’ to this global inflection point – also triggered around the Afghan pivot into the Russo-Chines axis – was the SCO summit last month. A memorandum of understanding was approved that would tie together China’s Belt and Road Initiative to the Eurasian Economic Community, within the overall structure of the SCO, whilst adding a deeper military dimension to the expanded SCO structure.
In short, Asia is being stitched together by institutions almost equally governed by Russia and China. Russia with the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) and CSTO and China with the SCO and BRI – Belt and Road Initiative. This integration now can take place with the U.S. pullback from Afghanistan and soon from both Syria and Iraq, regardless of whatever Biden may have mumbled before having his afternoon Jell-O and getting his Depends changed.

All that has happened here is the U.S. has finally admitted there are limits to its resources because the threats to it are too expensive to keep up with. Two can play the cost attrition game it seems.

The deep state actors sympathetic with but not necessarily aligned with Davos had to choose — Russia or China. They have chosen China and (this is the key point), Davos has shifted its strategies in line with this change. They are finally improvising.

This is why Biden was sent to Geneva to sue for peace over Ukraine in June. It’s also why the O’Biden administration begged Moscow to accept an audience with the High Priest of Neoconservatism, Victoria Nuland.

To truly shore up Europe’s Eastern front requires an particular messenger.

Who better than Nuland to finally admit publicly that the Minsk Agreements are the only way forward to solve the status of the Donbass to convey to the Russians that, finally, the U.S. may actually be serious about ending our insane policy in Eastern Europe.

And with it, admit publicly that NATO was no longer all that important.
Davos wanted this outcome because it ensures that war with Russia is off the table now that Ukraine will be settled by relatively peaceful means with less overt foreign intervention. It also conserves precious resources, while building anti-American sentiment in Europe, and clarifies who works for whom.

And this fits in with the overall plans to reorient the U.S. into a war footing with China, who themselves, are already on a war footing with us.

Now, with that said, let’s back up and ask the important question left hanging by Crooke’s essay?

Why was Europe was purposefully demilitarized over these past few decades?

What started as a U.S. protectorate after WWII has now been all but abandoned.

NATO’s position in Europe is a joke vis a vis Russia. In fact, relations with NATO are so bad Russia just recalled its ambassador to NATO, a further signal that it is no longer as important as it was just a few weeks ago.

Think back to the incidents of the past few years in Syria and all of the redlines that were nearly tripped that could have created an Article 5 invocation and open War with Russia. I absolutely maintain that France and Israel attempted to do this by shooting down the Russian IL-20 ELINT plane in September 2018.

France and Israel could see the writing on the wall then, Trump was depreciating NATO. The foreign policy realignment was in place then.

Macron can talk all he wants about an EU army, but he’ll only get that after hyperinflation forces debt default, UBI, conscription and a digital euro.

Without those conditions he won’t have a population desperate enough to become part of that… and even then, it will only be used to suppress dissent within the EU, as a kind of supranational police force. For a preview of that watch some video of who is trying to put down the strikes happening across Italy.

But, back to my question, why is this happening now? There had to be a strategic purpose to this, especially considering Britain’s legendary and inconsolable animosity towards Russia, which should have sustained this policy.

Money and resources. As always, big projects are always more expensive than you budget for. I’ve built enough outbuildings, goat sheds, fences and garden beds to know that the Bill of Materials in my head never matches the credit card statements at the end of the month.

The West is broke, they know it and there isn’t enough money to support a two-front war anymore against both Russia and China…while simultaneously subjugating central Asia to make the world safe for Zionists in Israel.

In fact, if that policy was meant as a long-term project to sap the U.S. of its dynamism and future, then job well done!

(Just in case anyone is confused my speculation above is the subtlest form of sarcasm, of course that was the freaking plan.).

So, with the collapse of the COVID-9/11 narrative back in May, when Fauci was first exposed as a liar by Rand Paul, the strategy had to shift… to focus on a war with China.

This is when Davos began improvising, for it was pretty obvious they believed they could continue this maximum pressure campaign through U.S. and British belligerence indefinitely while COVID kept everyone fearful and thinking it would hand them unlimited spending to build the final phase of their more perfect technocracy.

Too bad for them COVID-9/11 didn’t work out that way.

In the grand scheme of things, this demilitarization of Europe was a policy set in place to ensure it wouldn’t be a target in the next ‘great war’ that’s coming between the U.S. and China. Think it through. The U.S. survived WWII because none of its industrial base was bombed. Two big oceans separated the U.S. from the World at War.

Now, we’re looking at a war between China and an overextended U.S. fighting a war in China’s back yard, the Pacific. What separates them from Europe? Asia, for one. Africa for another.

So, from the geographical context, the war that’s to come it only makes sense that Europe, if they keep their heads down, will be the place not attacked directly. During the war to come capital can flee both the U.S. and China and come to them, the safe harbor.

What Davos is clearly thinking here is that they can play the role the U.S. played after WWII, installing its system on the post-war industrial world, while using that same system to keep the emerging and frontier parts of the world on the debt hamster wheel.

And to get that done they destroy the middle class and old industrial base at home to ensure continental hegemony through total surveillance and a digital euro.

The problem however, is that the U.S., Russia and China are wise to this game and everyday take concrete steps to ensure that plan fails miserably, c.f. everything I wrote above.

Making Europe a laughingstock of a military power now means this is the best possible outcome given the shift we’ve seen this year.

Davos is realizing very quickly that its power base is shrinking and while they still hope to institute their glorious technocratic revolution from the top down through manipulating elections, installing puppet governments and openly lying about why their doing it (Climate Change), the reality is their costs are skyrocketing (c.f. commodity prices) and their minions in the U.S. are proving to be particularly inept.

I’m convinced this wasn’t the original plan. I’m sure Macron was told that NATO would be there forever while they built his EU Army through French weapons contractors and then all of it could be transferred to the U.N. after the next ‘Great War.’

And I’m sure there’s still some version of that on the table as a kind-of Plan R or whatever.

But COVID-9/11 didn’t work out as planned. The time table they worked under was too compressed. ADE is killing them. The virus is burning out too fast. The vaccines are dangerous to too many to countenance and, most importantly, they are unnecessary for an even broader slice of the population.

Opposition to their ridiculous leaders is rising.

We now have full-on Randian Strikes going on and gods bless my kin in Italy for standing up to the truly odious Mario Draghi. If the Green Pass fails there, the whole Davos project collapses.

Let me reiterate, these people are not worth fearing. They can’t harm you if you have nothing they can take from you.

I’ve been saying we live in the Third Act of Atlas Shrugged for years now…. but to see it happen warms the cockles of my cold, dead heart.

The narrative collapsed too quickly and it’s all slipping through their fingers.

This is why AUKUS had to happen. The time table for war with China had to accelerate. We’ve got troops stationed in Taiwan, FFS. The Chinese have to respond to this or they lose massive face. Yes, it’s only ‘two dozen’ according to the WSJ, but it’s not the number that matters but that that number is non-zero.
To sum up, I don’t think this course of events was inevitable.

The best way to think of it is as a flow chart, with a very fluid Gantt chart on the wall over at Spectre HQ.

And that should make the ‘why’ of Europe’s ‘demilitarization’ clear now. O’Biden and Davos shifted gears after COVID-9/11 failed and this was the fall back plan because it jibed so well with existing U.S. and UK deep state strategies that are decades old.

It’s not like this wasn’t an easy pivot, after all.

It was the plan in the first place, it’s just been modified to leave Europe at the mercy of Russia which was the price to pay when looking at the balance sheet of assets and realizing someone else needs to pay the bills.

It also means that my analysis of German politics is correct and that in order to save Europe and some fragment of the globalists’ dream, it means a split in the EU. I mean, how else does Russia sign off on this without getting the guarantee that hostilities from the West end?

Davos still have their sights set on a world without war through technocracy, ruthless policing and surveillance, and fake value(s) precluding societal level war. It’s monumentally stupid, but, then again, so is Communism.

Whie they aren’t to Ornette Coleman levels of improvising yet, they are damn close to it.

The problem is they didn’t tell any of the lieutenants what was coming. They just issued orders through O’Biden and left the continentals angry they weren’t consulted. Macron is genuinely furious as Crooke points out, because he thought they were all on the same team.

And that’s creating confusion as to what’s really going on.

They aren’t on the same team.

Macron is still Davos’ best chance to hold onto France so don’t expect any miracles from the corrupt French political system and he will do exactly as he’s told. So will the Germans until the German people force a change on their political system.

Don’t expect that until inflation truly ravages the middle class there. Knowing that they’re chanting “Let’s Go Brandon” in the former East Germany, tells you all you need to know about where theirs heads are.

This is the world as it lays out today. There are cracks forming all along the big Davosian plan for the future.

Their agents still command the microphone and the media still soldiers on as if anyone cares what they think. And while many people are still so very asleep, enough aren’t that very soon now, the costs to the enforcers of these idiotic mandates personally will be too great for Davos to pay off.

And that’s when the real chaos starts.

But now that the U.S. and UK have told the EU they are junior partners in the great game, it has almost zero options. The only way Davos can salvage a tactical win is to get rid of Jay Powell as FOMC Chair who is strangling the European capital markets. They took their shot, got a couple of scalps but the reality is that there is no good narrative left for continuing to terrorize people over COVID-9/11 and not raise rates and let the economy run.

So, that strategy is a non-starter. Why replace a guy who is the only one actually defending U.S. interests within the halls of power and who has the confidence of the guys who write the real checks in D.C., i.e. Wall St.

Europe doesn’t like it but it may be the best possible solution after this debacle.

So, watch now as Europe collapses and Davos tries to create a war that no rational person wants, costing everyone far more than just the money in their wallets while the Private Hudsons look up and finally say, “No.”

It Takes A Lot Of Education To Keep Us This Stupid

TUESDAY, OCT 19, 2021 - 08:45 PM
Authored by Caitlin Johnstone via Medium.com,

The oligarchic empire is working harder and harder to bolt down our minds in service of its agendas...

Silicon Valley is working more and more openly in conjunction with the US government, and its algorithms elevate empire-authorized narratives while hiding unapproved ones with increasing brazenness.

The mass media have become so blatantly propagandistic that US intelligence operatives are now openly employed by news outlets they used to have to infiltrate covertly.

NATO and military institutions are studying and testing new forms of mass-scale psychological manipulation to advance the still developing science of propaganda.

A transparently fake “whistleblower” is being promoted by the US political/media class to manufacture support for more internet censorship and shore up monopolistic control for institutions like Facebook who are willing to enforce it.
Wikipedia is an imperial narrative control operation.

They’ve imprisoned a journalist for exposing US war crimes after the CIA plotted to kidnap and assassinate him.

1634699893073.png

The powerful work so hard at such endeavors because they understand something that most ordinary people do not: whoever controls the dominant narratives about the world controls the world itself.

Power is controlling what happens; absolute power is controlling what people think about what happens.

If you can control how people think about what’s going on in their world, if you can control their shared how-it-is stories about what’s happening and what’s true, then you can advance any agenda you want to. You’ll be able to prevent them from rising up against you as you steal their wealth, exploit their labor, destroy their ecosystem and send their children off to war. You can keep them voting for political institutions you own and control. You can keep them from interfering in your ability to wage wars around the world and sanction entire populations into starvation to advance your geostrategic goals.

This status quo of exploitation, ecocide, oppression and war benefits our rulers immensely, bringing them more wealth and power than the kings of old could ever dream of. And like the kings of old they are not going to relinquish power of their own accord, which means the only thing that will bring an end to this world-destroying status quo is the people rising up and using the power of their numbers to end it.

Yet they don’t rise up. They don’t because they are successfully propagandized into accepting this status quo, or at least into believing it’s the only way things can be right now. Imperial narrative control is therefore the source of all our biggest problems.

And they’re only getting more and more aggressive about it. More and more forceful, less and less sly and subtle in their campaign to control the thoughts that are in our heads.

Many of those who have this realization see it as cause for despair. I personally see it as cause for hope.

They work so hard to manufacture our consent for the status quo because they absolutely require that consent; history shows us that rulers do not fare well after a critical mass of the population has turned against them. And they’re working harder and harder to manufacture that consent, even as extremely influential people begin questioning whether we’re being deliberately deceived about everything.

They used to look like someone using a bucket to bail out water from a leaky boat. Now they look like someone treading water, barely managing to get their mouth and nose high enough to take gasps of air.

They’re working harder and harder because they need to.

The fact that the propagandists have to work so hard to keep our society this insane means the natural gravitational pull is toward sanity. They have to educate us into crazier and crazier ways of thinking from the moment we go to school until we die, because otherwise we’ll collectively awaken and shake off their shackles.

It takes a lot of educating to keep us this stupid.

You think you’re struggling? You should see the people trying to manufacture consent for a status quo that is both plainly insane and self-evidently unsustainable. They’re the ones doing all the heavy lifting in this struggle. They’re the ones fighting gravity.

Hope is not a popular position to take in a world that is being abused, exploited and being driven mad by manipulative sociopaths. Which is understandable.

But I just can’t help it. I look at how hard they are struggling to keep the light from bursting in and driving out the darkness, and I can’t help but think, “Those poor bastards can’t keep that up much longer.”

Emerging World Hands Dems A "$750 Billion Bill" For Climate Change Ahead Of Glasgow Summit

TUESDAY, OCT 19, 2021 - 10:25 PM

While the EU's leading unelected bureaucrats continue to play footsie with the Kremlin while energy prices soar and EU member states reckon with the prospect of a very cold winter, the Wall Street Journal has just taken the time to remind us why the far-left Democrats' progressive "Green New Deal" climate rhetoric is all but destined to fail. And they did it with a portrayal of John Kerry's uncomfortable silence after being confronted with the price tag for the Democrats' green energy aspirations not at home, but abroad.

According to WSJ, the made-for-camera moment happened at a global climate summit in July, when there were no cameras around, when Kerry was handed what the paper described as "a bill" for aiding the developing world in its shift away from fossil fuels - enough to achieve the "green energy" to protect them, and the world, from Global Warming.

The figure: $750 billion. The number was "met with silence [Kerry] according to Zaheer Fakir, an adviser to Creecy [South African Environment Minister Barbara Creecy]" and Kerry wasn't the only western official in the room wearing a long face.

Of course, that's not even anywhere close to the real number. As we and Bank of America's analysts have already explained, there's a $150 trillion backing the global climate crusade via its most effective capitalist soldiers: the ESG-focused companies and investors who are raising trillions of dollars to "fix" this problem.

Yet, the most sober-minded analysts still believe that the cost of actually coming anywhere close to meeting the West's commitments will spark levels of inflation that many American consumers (if you asked them) probably wouldn't be too comfortable.

Even by the most optimistic projections for development and the advent of green technologies, there's still no way of pulling this off without causing a great monetary disturbance. Some might call it "runaway inflation"...

...but don't worry, whatever BofA calls it, it has a "cheat sheet" ready for its clients.

Ultimately, this is BofA's admission taken from everything we have shared above.
Q: What is the economic impact of net zero?
A: The inflation impact of elevated net zero funding will not be insignificant but the impact looks manageable at 1% to 3% per annum depending on central bank monetization rates, particularly if government spending is targeted and contributes to accelerate the rate of global GDP growth. The IEA also has a productive outlook for their net zero scenario, where the change in the annual growth rate of GDP accelerates by somewhere between 0.3% and 0.5% on a sustained basis over the next 10 years as a result of a shift to a green economy.
But the sad reality is that the emerging world (ie China) isn't willing (or, in fact, even able) to meet the west's demands. They're not going down with their use of fossil fuels, they're actually going in the opposite direction - up - as they industrialize while "billions rise out of poverty" according to WSJ (nevermind what happens in the US while this process takes place).

At this point, it's important to remember that it's not so much a coalition of nations that the west needs to "convince" - it's really just China. The US, Europe and a few other wealthy nations "committed" to providing $100 billion a year from 2020 through 2025. So far, they have fallen short every year (though that number spent annually is going up, not down).

Most western officials involved are saying that the west must focus first on the goals it met at the last great climate summit in Paris more than 5 years ago before it starts talking about new promises and projections after 2025.
"There isn’t enough official development funds in the system to close the gap of climate finance,” said Gustavo Alberto Fonseca, director of programs at the U.N.’s Global Environment Facility, which funds climate infrastructure in the developing world. "There has to be a market-based solution."
If we know that already, then why are we having another one of these big global pow wows again, right now, while the entire world is convalescing from COVID?

If the "price tag" for climate change is such an impediment, then why don't the powers that be focus on more productive uses of their time - like minting the $1 trillion coin (which, given the rhetoric from the Fed and Treasury, seems to be exactly what the Dems are thinking of resorting to in the US).

25,000 People Expected at Climate Change Summit (Party) in Glasgow Including Biden and Long Lost Transportation Secretary Buttigieg

By Joe Hoft
Published October 20, 2021 at 10:45am
climate-change-600x449.jpg

A massive party of 25,000 people is meeting this month in Glasgow, Scotland to discuss the world’s climate and how it changes. Any concerns with CO2 will be ignored when traveling to and from the event.

Breitbart reported:
The United Nations COP26 climate summit later this month will provide a platform for world leaders to lecture the public about how human carbon footprints are allegedly destroying the planet. They will speak after thousands of people boarded planes to join the event in Glasgow, Scotland.

The BBC reported the number of people attending the U.N. summit is 25,000. The left-wing media outlet, which regularly advances the manmade climate change narrative, asked the public to submit questions, which included one about the massive number of people attending.

The BBC’s environmental reporter said zoom calls over the coronavirus pandemic proved inadequate given time zones differences and “many developing nations have insisted on having an in-person COP.”
Biden and his Secretary of Transportation will both be there.
Joe Biden will attend the event and 13 members of his cabinet are also flying to Scotland, including Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg, who has spoken more publicly about the summit than the supply chain crisis in the United States that falls under his purview.
This whole climate hoax and summit is reportedly based on fraudulent data. Investors Business Daily pointed this out in 2018.
The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration may have a boring name, but it has a very important job: It measures U.S. temperatures. Unfortunately, it seems to be a captive of the global warming religion. Its data are fraudulent.

What do we mean by fraudulent? How about this: NOAA has made repeated “adjustments” to its data, for the presumed scientific reason of making the data sets more accurate…
…But the actual measured temperature record shows something different: There have been hot years and hot decades since the turn of the last century, and colder years and colder decades. But the overall measured temperature shows no clear trend over the last century, at least not one that suggests runaway warming.
That is, until the NOAA’s statisticians “adjust” the data. Using complex statistical models, they change the data to reflect not reality, but their underlying theories of global warming. That’s clear from a simple fact of statistics: Data generate random errors, which cancel out over time. So by averaging data, the errors mostly disappear.

That’s not what NOAA does.

According to the NOAA, the errors aren’t random. They’re systematic.

As we noted, all of their temperature adjustments lean cooler in the distant past, and warmer in the more recent past. But they’re very fuzzy about why this should be.

Far from legitimately “adjusting” anything, it appears they are cooking the data to show a politically correct trend toward global warming. Not by coincidence, that has been part and parcel of the government’s underlying policies for the better part of two decades.

What NOAA does aren’t niggling little changes, either.

As Tony Heller at the Real Climate Science web site notes, “Pre-2000 temperatures are progressively cooled, and post-2000 temperatures are warmed. This year has been a particularly spectacular episode of data tampering by NOAA, as they introduce nearly 2.5 degrees of fake warming since 1895.”

So the global warming scare is basically a hoax.
What a mess liberals and liars make of the world.

Where Stuff Comes From

WEDNESDAY, OCT 20, 2021 - 03:30 PM
Via Doomberg Substack,
this dovetails in sinister fashion with the basic idea that any sufficiently advanced technology cannot be distinguished from magic. highly evolved capitalism becomes such a technology and the largess and plenty it produces gets mistaken for a property of the universe rather than a made thing, a thing that must be created rather than simply reaped.
– el gato malo
Modern society is awash in stuff. There’s stuff at the grocery store. At the hardware store. At Amazon and eBay. We eat stuff, wear stuff, buy stuff, and store stuff. Click some buttons, swipe a card, tap a phone – and presto! Stuff appears, like magic.

At least for now.

We are a carbon-based species. Carbon forms the foundation of our bodies and the external world we experience. Almost everything we touch is carbon-based.

As I type this, I’m sitting on a couch made predominantly from foamed polyurethane, my feet resting on a carpet made from synthetic nylon. I just sipped water from a bottle made of polyethylene terephthalate, which I then placed on a coffee table made of wood.

Not only is our stuff mostly based on carbon, but the energy required to manipulate materials – to make stuff – comes predominately from carbon-based feedstocks as well. While not all stuff is based itself on carbon – copper wire is made of copper, after all – we can’t make use of it without first extracting energy from carbon fuels. In other words, we can’t mine copper without carbon. Those excavators, dump trucks, and bulldozers aren’t going to run themselves.

Since energy is life, mastering the chemistry of carbon and harnessing the energy of stuff to make other stuff is core to the human endeavor.

Let’s develop a grossly simplified mental model. Picture a four-rung ladder.

Because of gravity it takes energy to climb a ladder, but to fall from one is a spontaneous event – let go of your grip and you’ll soon reintroduce yourself to the ground. In a way, interchanging between chemical compounds is analogous to our ladder. Sometimes, going from one chemical compound to another releases energy (like falling down the ladder), whereas going in the opposite direction requires putting energy in (like climbing the ladder). Just replace the word “gravity” with “enthalpy” and you can begin to sound scientific.

At the top rung of our ladder sits methane, more commonly known as natural gas. Among the hydrocarbons, methane has the most embedded energy. Way down below – on the ground – sits carbon dioxide (CO2). When you burn methane fully, you react it with oxygen and produce CO2 and water as products.

That reaction gives off an enormous amount of useful energy – the increased force of hitting the ground from the top rung rather than lower ones. But once you hit the ground, you have no further to fall. CO2 is a thermodynamic sink.

The next rung down from methane sits oil. While oil is a complex mixture, for our simplistic purposes you can think of it as partially burned methane. Oil still has a lot of potential energy (falling from that height would still hurt), but unlike methane it is an easily transported liquid at room temperature and pressure. As such, oil serves many purposes for which methane is unsuitable. However, when compared to methane, you must burn more oil to get the same amount of useful energy – thus producing more CO2 on an equivalent basis.

Further down still is coal. Coal is even more oxidized than oil, sitting closer to the ground. It is also quite dirty, filled with all manner of nasty impurities. But coal is cheap and is a solid. You can literally dig it out of the ground with a pick and shovel, as was done for many decades.

At the lowest rung is wood. Wood, like all plant stuff, is the direct product of photosynthesis (so are coal and oil, of course, but wood just died more recently).

In a highly inefficient process, Nature starts with CO2 and begins to climb the ladder using sunshine as the fuel. It doesn’t get very far. Having said that, wood is a fantastic raw material for all kinds of useful stuff, and vegetation is the food that powers all humans, either directly or indirectly.

It makes intuitive sense that if we are using carbon-based materials as a source of energy, we’d want to be at the highest rung possible. This is, in fact, how societies evolve. Wood burning gives way to coal, which eventually gives way to oil and then natural gas as societies can afford cleaner environments. Natural gas is by far the cleanest burning fuel. You can use it directly in your kitchen without ventilation for a reason. Nobody would advise firing up the charcoal barbeque indoors.

What’s less well-known is the same concept holds if you are using carbon-based materials to make stuff. Almost all synthetic materials in modern life start near the top of the ladder and are engineered downward in a controlled burn. This makes intuitive sense. The embedded energy to run the process is at least partially inherent in the starting material. Certain high-value materials are worth pushing up the ladder to obtain, but industry evolved the way it did for a reason – it is easier to slowly slide down than climb up.

Take polyethylene, which is the highest volume production plastic in the world.

To say polyethylene is ubiquitous is an understatement. Milk jugs, garbage bags, food packaging, wire and cable applications, pipes – polyethylene is everywhere.

Industrially, polyethylene is made by sliding down the ladder: ethane is converted to ethylene, which is then polymerized. Ethane is close to natural gas on our ladder, while polyethylene has virtually the same inherent energy as oil.

In theory, polyethylene could be made from corn, but that involves climbing the ladder with big steps. Corn is made from CO2 on the farm and has an energy content close to wood. To make polyethylene from corn, you first need to produce corn ethanol. Ethanol is higher up the ladder than corn (roughly in line with coal), but much lower than polyethylene. Jumping yet another full rung – while possible – simply doesn’t make economic sense, even with substantial government support. We grow corn because we need to eat. We burn ethanol as a minor additive in gasoline because the government tells us to (Iowa is an early primary state, after all). Even that level of political support can’t take us all the way to polyethylene.

So, where does stuff come from? As you can probably guess by now, it mostly comes from unwanted byproducts of the oil and gas industry (high up the ladder!). Take the aforementioned ethane. Many natural gas fields produce what is known as “wet gas.” The predominate product is methane, but a little ethane, propane, and heavier cats and dogs are included in the mix. These impurities are collectively known as natural gas liquids and are a critical feedstock that enables much of the chemical industry. One person’s annoying impurity is another’s treasured input.

Ethane is fed to a cracker, which produces ethylene. Ethylene is one of perhaps a half-dozen ultra-critical chemicals that form the foundation of virtually all the stuff we make. I can walk around a city block and perform a retro-synthetic analysis of almost everything I see and find my way back to a cracker.

Crackers operate on an almost unimaginable scale. Pictured below is ExxonMobil’s new cracker located in Baytown, Texas. It is rated for 1.5 million tons per year, which is more than 3 billion pounds. A couple of crackers produce roughly a pound of ethylene per year for every living person on the planet. That’s a lot of stuff!

As the opening quote of this piece captures so well, we live in a time where few understand how things get made. It is fine to not know where stuff comes from, but it isn’t fine to not know where stuff comes from while dictating to the rest of us how the economy should be run. In some small way, maybe this piece will educate a few influential minds to participate in a better-informed debate.

We are experiencing the early phases of runaway inflation. On what seems like a daily basis, we observe critical inputs into our economy going vertical in price. If you crimp the supply of critical inputs with no workable plan to replace them, inflation is the unavoidable outcome. Energy is stuff. Energy is life. What’s the price elasticity of demand for life, and who can afford to pay it?

Nobody could have seen this coming, they’ll say. We did.

To Appease ESG, Exxon Considers Abandoning Some Of Its Biggest Oil And Gas Projects

WEDNESDAY, OCT 20, 2021 - 11:10 AM

Ever since the arrival of the ESG craze, we have discussed the change in "optics" that Exxon has been trying to pull off in order to placate some of the most vocal activist shareholders, some of whom now happen to be on the company's board.

But now, instead of just purely superficial changes Exxon may be on the cusp of making fundamental changes as well as the oil and gas major is considering whether or not to shutter "several major oil and gas projects", according to a new report from the Wall Street Journal.

The company's board, which includes three directors nominated by activist investors, has "expressed concerns about certain projects, including a $30 billion liquefied natural gas development in Mozambique and another multibillion-dollar gas project in Vietnam," the WSJ reports, while caveating that the impact from these projects coming online likely wouldn't have been felt for years to come.

WSJ detailed the two projects:
The Mozambique project, called Rovuma, would tap vast reserves of natural gas off the coast of the southern African country, then chill them to a liquid state at an onshore plant to be exported around the world. It is one of the largest projects in Exxon’s portfolio, and its proximity to India could give Exxon an opportunity to export gas to a fast-growing market.
...
In Vietnam, Exxon and its partners discovered a large gas field in 2011 in waters 50 miles off the coast but have yet to develop it. Gas from the field, known as Ca Voi Xanh or blue whale, would be sent through a pipeline to planned onshore power plants. Vietnamese officials have said the project would generate $20 billion in government revenue. The field is near contested waters claimed by China in the South China Sea, and analysts say China is actively disrupting Vietnam’s offshore oil-and-gas industry, adding geopolitical complications to the project.
The change in strategic direction comes as the board is facing growing pressure from investors to restrain its fossil fuel investments and limit its carbon footprint. Exxon is also in the midst of a review of the company's five year spending plan, which is where the idea came up. No action has been taken yet and it isn't a guarantee that the projects will be shuttered or go forward.

The board is also considering the carbon footprint of the new projects, and how they would affect the company's ability to meet environmental promises it has made.

"The annual projected emissions from the Mozambique and Vietnam projects were among the highest in Exxon’s planned pipeline of oil and gas projects," the Journal wrote.

Back in September we reported that as part of appeasement of the ESG lobby, the oil giant planned on implementing disclosures of shale emissions. The company announced it would start measuring its methane emissions from production of natural gas at a facility it owns in New Mexico. Exxon joins other shale gas producers, like EQT, who already provide similar data.

Bart Cahir, a senior vice president at Exxon Mobil, told Reuters: "Certifying our natural gas will help our customers achieve their goals." The oil major has signed an agreement with "independent measuring firm MiQ to certify 200 million cubic feet of natural gas per day" at its New Mexico facilities.

You can read the full WSJ report on Exxon potentially shuttering its two new projects here.

The World Is Transitioning To EVs, But Our Nation's Power Grid May Not Be Ready

TUESDAY, OCT 19, 2021 - 11:45 PM
While electric vehicles are undoubtedly the future, the question of whether or not our power grid is also ready for the "future" has started to surface. Especially in places like New York.

Power outages and appeals from utilities for customers to cut back on usage have been commonplace - not just in California, but also in places like New York, Texas and Louisiana.

And while the nation stays focused on "the future" of vehicle travel, another bottleneck arises in power generation, a new Washington Post article points out.

The grid is going to be "challenged" by the need to deliver power to the cars, the report notes.

Gil Quiniones, head of a state agency called the New York Power Authority, said: “We got to talk about the grid. Otherwise we’ll be caught flat-footed.”

One recent study predicts the country will need to invest $125 billion into the grid to handle the shift to electric vehicles. The current infrastructure bill would account for $5 billion in upgrades. That leaves an enormous gap.

Cars, trucks and busses in New York will use 14 percent of New York’s total output by 2050, the report says. Its the same as "powering a new city of four million people".

Shuli Goodman, executive director of a Linux Foundation project called LF Energy, said: “The grid of the future isn’t going to be a grid at all. It will be more like the Internet.”

Government officials are optimistic about wind and solar, but renewables like wind power are limited in how they can expand and unreliable in their power generation. Wind, for example, makes up just 3% of power generation in New York.

"The rest of New York, the topography doesn’t really lend itself to wind. Up and down the East Coast, it’s more difficult to site wind farms," said Jason Du Terroil, who works for a wind turbine operator.

The Tug Hill Land Trust, a private nonprofit, even objected to some wind power being installed in parts of rural New York. A representative from the group said: “If you’re cutting down trees to put up windmills to fight climate change, it doesn’t make sense to me. It would be a lot easier to swallow if it was a community project, with community benefits.”

But the grid must expand with New York's 70/30 goal, one where 70% of power is carbon free by 2030, in mind.

And while solar has also been proposed as a solution, especially for cities, not everyone is confident that large corporations and crowded cities won't overwhelm the grid.

“What if Amazon and FedEx and UPS say, ‘We’re going to go electric'. Con Ed is going to be scrambling,” Gil Quiniones, head of the New York Power Authority, said.

“You don’t want everybody charging when it’s 96 degrees at 2 p.m. That’ll crash the system."

Joe Biden’s Build Back Better plan = No coal, no cars and no meat.

Biden traveled to his hometown of Scranton, Pennsylvania on Wednesday to pitch his Build Back Better bill that is currently on life support.

Joe Biden boasted his plan would take millions of automobiles off the road.
Americans love the personal freedom of owning and driving a car.

Joe Biden and the Marxist-Democrats want to restrict movement and take away freedoms.

“We will take, literally, millions of automobiles off the road. Off the road,” said Biden of his radical Marxist green agenda.

The Cost Of Going Green Is About To Get More Expensive

THURSDAY, OCT 21, 2021 - 02:45 AM

The cost of going green is about to become more expensive as polysilicon prices are erupting and will likely remain elevated due to factory shutdowns in China.
Polysilicon is a superrefine form of silicon used in solar panels for its semiconductor-like material properties. Spot prices for polysilicon bottomed at $6.30/kg in mid-2020 and have jumped 600% to $36.09/kg as of last week, according to BloombergNEF.

China is a top producer of polysilicon. The latest factory shutdowns of energy-intensive factories, such as ones that refine silicon, have resulted in declining output that will affect global supply. Countries, in a rush, to greenify their economies are increasing demand for solar panels that are pressuring polysilicon prices higher.

"It's been a very crazy year," Sakura Yamasaki, the Singapore Solar Exchange director, said during a recent Roth Capital Partners webinar. She said polysilicon prices could stabilize in the second quarter of 2022 but thinks prices will continue to increase.
"The ride up is not over," Yamasaki said.
She said the market will remain "chaotic" in 2022 as other costs such as freight and commodities will make the cost of producing solar panels much higher than in previous years.
"There will be no relief in 2022," she said, with the outlook "as crazy as this year."
Perhaps the cost of polysilicon and ultimately solar panels will continue to move higher over the years as Bank of America recently noted: no less than a stunning $150 trillion in new capital investment would be required to reach a "net zero" world over 30 years - equating to some $5 trillion in annual investments - and amounting to twice current global GDP.

The move to a net zero global economy is shockingly expensive. For the US alone, President Biden wants 40% of the US power grid sourcing solar generation by 2035, either a bunch of new polysilicon factories will need to be built, or the cost of going green will be astronomically expensive.

The Empire Of Lies Breaks Down: Ugly Truths The Deep State Wants To Keep Hidden

THURSDAY, OCT 21, 2021 - 12:10 AM
Authored by John W. Whitehead & Nisha Whitehead via The Rutherford Institute,
“The world is a dangerous place, not because of those who do evil, but because of those who look on and do nothing.”
- Albert Einstein
America is breaking down.

This breakdown - triggered by polarizing circus politics, media-fed mass hysteria, racism, classism, fascism, fear-mongering, political correctness, cultural sanitation, virtue signaling, a sense of hopelessness and powerlessness in the face of growing government corruption and brutality, a growing economic divide that has much of the population struggling to get by, and militarization and militainment (the selling of war and violence as entertainment) - is manifesting itself in madness, mayhem and an utter disregard for the very principles and liberties that have kept us out of the clutches of totalitarianism for so long.

In New York City, for example, a 200-year-old statue of Thomas Jefferson holding the Declaration of Independence will be removed from the City Council’s chambers where it has presided since 1915. Despite Jefferson’s many significant accomplishments, without which we might not have the rights we do today, he will be banished for having been, like many of his day, a slaveowner. Curiously, that same brutal expectation of infallibility has yet to be applied to many other politically correct yet equally imperfect and fallible role models of the day.

In Washington, DC, a tribunal of nine men and women spoke with one voice to affirm that the government and its henchmen can literally get away with murder and not be held accountable for their wrongdoing. The Supreme Court’s latest rulings are yet another painful lesson in compliance, a reminder that in the American police state, “we the people” are at the mercy of law enforcement officers who have almost absolute discretion to decide who is a threat, what constitutes resistance, and how harshly they can deal with the citizens they were appointed to ‘serve and protect.”

All across the country, from California to Connecticut and every point in between, men and women who have worked faithfully and diligently at their jobs for years are being terminated for daring to believe that they have a right to bodily integrity; that they should not be forced, against their conscience or better judgment, to choose between individual liberty and economic survival; and that they—and not the government, or the FDA, or the CDC, or the Corporate State—have dominion over their bodies. Conveniently enough, this COVID-19 pandemic has created yet another double standard in how “we the people” navigate this country: while “we the middling classes” are subjected to vaccine mandates and denied even the right to be skeptical about the origins of the COVID virus, let alone the efficacy of the so-called cure, the government, corporations and pharmaceutical companies have been shielded from liability with blanket immunity laws that ensure we are little more than guinea pigs for their questionable experiments.

And then in Pennsylvania, a man traveling on a commuter train harassed, assaulted and then raped a woman over the course of 40 minutes and more than two dozen train stops while fellow travelers, watching and filming the attack, did nothing. Not a single witness called 911. Not a single bystander intervened to help the woman. Despite the fact that the man was outnumbered and could have been overwhelmed by those on the train, no collective effort was made to ward off the attack. Only when it was too late, when the damage had been done and the train had pulled into its last stop, did police show up to intervene.

There is an allegory here for what is happening to our country and its citizens, who have also been waylaid by a madman (the Deep State), stripped of their safety nets (their rights undermined and eroded), and savaged out in the open by a fiend (the American Police State and its many operatives—the courts, the legislatures and their various armies) that is devoid of humanity while those not in the immediate crosshairs watch safely from a distance without making a move to help.

This is madness, yet there is a method to this madness.

This is how freedom falls and tyranny rises.

Remember, authoritarian regimes begin with incremental steps:
overcriminalization, surveillance of innocent citizens, imprisonment for nonviolent—victimless—crimes, etc. Bit by bit, the citizenry finds its freedoms being curtailed and undermined for the sake of national security. And slowly the populace begins to submit.

No one speaks up for those being targeted.

No one resists these minor acts of oppression.

No one recognizes the indoctrination into tyranny for what it is.

Historically this failure to speak truth to power has resulted in whole populations being conditioned to tolerate unspoken cruelty toward their fellow human beings, a bystander syndrome in which people remain silent and disengaged—mere onlookers—in the face of abject horrors and injustice.

Time has insulated us from the violence perpetrated by past regimes in their pursuit of power: the crucifixion and slaughter of innocents by the Romans, the torture of the Inquisition, the atrocities of the Nazis, the butchery of the Fascists, the bloodshed by the Communists, and the cold-blooded war machines run by the military industrial complex.

We can disassociate from such violence. We can convince ourselves that we are somehow different from the victims of government abuse. We can continue to spout empty political rhetoric about how great America is, despite the evidence to the contrary.

We can avoid responsibility for holding the government accountable.

We can zip our lips and bind our hands and shut our eyes.

In other words, we can continue to exist in a state of denial. Yet there is no denying the ugly, hard truths that become more evident with every passing day.
  1. The government is not our friend. Nor does it work for “we the people.”
  2. Our so-called government representatives do not actually represent us, the citizenry. We are now ruled by an oligarchic elite of governmental and corporate interests whose main interest is in perpetuating power and control.
  3. Republicans and Democrats like to act as if there’s a huge difference between them and their policies. However, they are not sworn enemies so much as they are partners in crime, united in a common goal, which is to maintain the status quo.
  4. The lesser of two evils is still evil.
  5. Some years ago, a newspaper headline asked the question: “What’s the difference between a politician and a psychopath?” The answer, then and now, remains the same: None. There is virtually no difference between psychopaths and politicians.
  6. More than terrorism, more than domestic extremism, more than gun violence and organized crime, the U.S. government has become a greater menace to the life, liberty and property of its citizens than any of the so-called dangers from which the government claims to protect us
  7. The government knows exactly which buttons to push in order to manipulate the populace and gain the public’s cooperation and compliance.
  8. If voting made any difference, they wouldn’t let us do it.
  9. America’s shadow government—which is comprised of unelected government bureaucrats, corporations, contractors, paper-pushers, and button-pushers who are actually calling the shots behind the scenes right now and operates beyond the reach of the Constitution with no real accountability to the citizenry—is the real reason why “we the people” have no control over our government.
  10. You no longer have to be poor, black or guilty to be treated like a criminal in America. All that is required is that you belong to the suspect class—that is, the citizenry—of the American police state. As a de facto member of this so-called criminal class, every U.S. citizen is now guilty until proven innocent.
  11. “We the people” are no longer shielded by the rule of law. By gradually whittling away at our freedoms—free speech, assembly, due process, privacy, etc.—the government has, in effect, liberated itself from its contractual agreement to respect our constitutional rights while resetting the calendar back to a time when we had no Bill of Rights to protect us from the long arm of the government.
  12. Private property means nothing if the government can take your home, car or money under the flimsiest of pretexts, whether it be asset forfeiture schemes, eminent domain or overdue property taxes. Likewise, private property means little at a time when SWAT teams and other government agents can invade your home, break down your doors, kill your dog, wound or kill you, damage your furnishings and terrorize your family.
  13. We now find ourselves caught in the crosshairs of a showdown between the rights of the individual and the so-called “emergency” state, and “we the people” are losing.
  14. All of those freedoms we cherish—the ones enshrined in the Constitution, the ones that affirm our right to free speech and assembly, due process, privacy, bodily integrity, the right to not have police seize our property without a warrant, or search and detain us without probable cause—amount to nothing when the government and its agents are allowed to disregard those prohibitions on government overreach at will.
  15. If there is an absolute maxim by which the federal government seems to operate, it is that the American taxpayer always gets ripped off.
  16. Our freedoms—especially the Fourth Amendment—continue to be choked out by a prevailing view among government bureaucrats that they have the right to search, seize, strip, scan, spy on, probe, pat down, taser, and arrest any individual at any time and for the slightest provocation.
  17. Forced vaccinations, forced cavity searches, forced colonoscopies, forced blood draws, forced breath-alcohol tests, forced DNA extractions, forced eye scans, forced inclusion in biometric databases: these are just a few ways in which Americans continue to be reminded that we have no control over what happens to our bodies during an encounter with government officials.
  18. Finally, freedom is never free. There is always a price—always a sacrifice—that must be made in order to safeguard one’s freedoms.
We cannot remain silent in the face of the government’s ongoing overreaches, power grabs, and crimes against humanity.

Evil disguised as bureaucracy is still evil. Indeed, this is what Hannah Arendt referred to as the banality of evil.

As I make clear in my book Battlefield America: The War on the American People and in its fictional counterpart The Erik Blair Diaries, such evil happens when bureaucrats (governmental and corporate) unquestioningly carry out orders that are immoral and inhumane; obey immoral instructions unthinkingly; march in lockstep with tyrants; mindlessly perpetuate acts of terror and inhumanity; and justify it all as just “doing one’s job.”

Such evil prevails when good men and women do nothing.

By doing nothing, by remaining silent, by being bystanders to injustice, hate and wrongdoing, good people become as guilty as the perpetrator.

There’s a term for this phenomenon where people stand by, watch and do nothing—even when there is no risk to their safety—while some horrific act takes place (someone is mugged or raped or bullied or left to die): it’s called the bystander effect.

It works the same whether you’re talking about kids watching bullies torment a fellow student on a playground, bystanders watching someone dying on a sidewalk, passengers on a train filming a fellow traveler be raped without intervening to help, or citizens remaining silent in the face of government atrocities.

We need to stop being silent bystanders.

It’s time to stand up for truth—for justice—for freedom—not just for ourselves but for all humanity. Tomorrow may be too late.

“We Don’t Need Congress” Biden Regime Plans to Ram Through Radical Climate Change Agenda By Circumventing Democratic Process If Plans Are Not Included in $3.5 Trillion Spending Bill (VIDEO)

By Julian Conradson

During Thursday’s White House press briefing, Biden’s Deputy Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre was asked about the administration’s radical “climate-change” agenda that has stalled out in Congress because of pushback by legislators on both sides of the political aisle.

Democrats are attempting to include the climate change plans in Biden’s massive $3.5 trillion (more like $5.5 Trillion according to some economists) “build back better” spending plan. As of now, it looks like the climate change agenda will most likely not be included in Congress’ final version of the package.

Apparently, that’s no problem at all for the authoritarian tyrants in the Biden regime. When Jean-Pierre was questioned specifically about the measure not being included in the final draft that makes it through the House, she clarified that this dictatorship doesn’t play by the rules anyway.
“We don’t need Congress. We can do it without Congress, as I just laid out.
No surprise, Biden is still running Obama’s playbook.

The reporter who opened the line of questioning on Jean-Pierre asked “It’s looking more and more like the clean energy performance program might not make it in the final version of the reconciliation package that was a really big part of how the President planned to meet his own emission goals. So what message does that send to other countries?”

The Deputy Press secretary responded by listing out several programs that Biden believes he can ram through if the elected representatives of the people decide against the crippling climate change measures, explaining that America’s fraudulent, feeble-dictator “will advance his climate agenda using every tool at his disposal.” (except the democratic ones of course)

Watch the full exchange here:

Rumble video on website 2:48 min

Some of the ridiculous policy changes that she claims can be passed without congressional approval include: “curbing emissions, growing our economy, and good-paying union jobs,” leading the shift towards electric vehicles, bringing together automakers and autoworkers, phasing out super pollutants to reduce emissions, clean energy like offshore wind and solar, and “making historic commitments to use every lever at his disposal to advance environmental justice and spur economic opportunity for disadvantaged communities and extreme weather events.”

In other words, meaningless platitudes and progressive equity psychobabble.
As benign as that seems, the policies come with a hefty price tag for US taxpayers, in addition to systematic changes that will have ramifications on almost every citizen.

If Biden unilaterally rams this agenda through, especially after being turned down in the peoples house, it will be catastrophic for everyday Americans.

According to the Daily Wire, countless jobs are potentially at risk if the agenda is enacted, especially in the coal and auto industries. Despite the administrations claims that their climate plan would “create over 1,000,000 jobs in the auto industry alone, workers who experience job loss will likely have a hard time finding work because there are no plans to replace the jobs that are killed by Biden’s plan, resulting in fewer jobs overall.

As even the liberal Associated Press points out:
“There’s plenty of skepticism about this claim. At least some of those new auto-related jobs would come at the expense of current ones. Auto industry analysts don’t see how a net gain of 1 million jobs in that sector can come from Biden’s plan.
Many analysts and the United Auto Workers union, in fact, have warned that electric vehicle manufacturing probably will mean fewer net auto-making jobs.”

"We don't need Congress," White House Deputy Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre told press on Thursday. "We can do it without Congress, as I just laid out."

This came in response to a question about the Biden administration's climate change plans, and how it would be possible for Biden to claim that the US was a global leader in climate change action if his big spending plans didn't pass muster in Congress.

Rumble video on website 2:48 min

Jean-Pierre was asked "It's looking more and more like the clean energy performance program might not make it in the final version of the reconciliation package that was a really big part of how the President planned to meet his own emission goals. So what message does that send to other countries?"

In response, the Deputy Press Secretary listed off a series of programs that the president count enact without consulting the people's representatives in Congress. She said that the president "will advance his climate agenda using every tool at his disposal."

These tools include "curbing emissions, growing our economy, and good-paying union jobs," all of which, she said, could be done "without Congress."

Additional examples include "leading the shift towards electric vehicles... bringing together automakers and autoworkers, phasing out super pollutants... to reduce emissions."

She cited government investment, without Congressional approval, on "clean energy like offshore wind and solar," and "making historic commitments to use every lever at his disposal to advance environmental justice and spur economic opportunity for disadvantaged communities and extreme weather events."

Jean-Pierre noted further that the Biden administration is working hard to make the weather better for the US and the world.

Jean-Pierre cited a report showing that the "US has multiple pathways to meet President Biden's pledge to reduce emissions." She said that the administration would continue to work with Congress, but that "

Biden's much-touted Build Back Better program looks unlikely to make it through Congress in the form in which he would prefer. But the plan, costing some $3.5 trillion in its full form, has hit a snag. Centrist Democrats Kyrsten Sinema and Joe Manchin have both dug in their heels on the massive spending plan.

Stop Blaming Incompetence_ Dear Leader Biden is CHOOSING Not to Fix Supply Chain Crisis
Stop Blaming Incompetence: Dear Leader Biden is CHOOSING Not to Fix Supply Chain Crisis

by JD RUCKER
October 21, 2021

At what point will more people start to realize that the Biden-Harris regime are intentionally tanking this nation? The writing is on the wall, and it’s so crystal clear we do not need a prophet like Daniel to tell us what it means. Whoever is controlling Joe Biden is having him steer the country towards oblivion and it’s time for more patriots to ask why.

Stop blaming incompetence. This regime is many things, but they are not so absolutely stupid that they do not recognize extremely easy fixes to the problems our nation faces. To paraphrase Senator Marco Rubio in his failed attempt at debating during the 2016 GOP primaries, let’s dispel with the notion that the Biden-Harris regime doesn’t know what they’re doing. They know exactly what they’re doing. They’re destroying the country willfully and completely.

The supply chain crisis is the biggest existential threat America faces right now. It’s bigger than Covid-19. One can argue that it’s not bigger than the vaccine mandates, and they may be correct, but at least the mandates are challenges we can fight directly. As average citizens, we do not have the ability to fight the specter of economic collapse prompted by a supply chain apocalypse. That is all in the hands of the powers-that-be, and they’re apparently not willing to lift a finger to stop it.

The most infuriating part is that in a world in which DC is contemplating trillions of dollars in spending, they’re not actively addressing the supply chain problem that can be solved with millions of dollars. For those who need perspective, a trillion dollars is million times a million. The gap between what it takes to fix this problem and what they’re talking about spending for their Green New Deal monstrosity is so large, it MUST be intentional that they’re not doing what it takes to make the problem go away.

They could send in the National Guard and have the problem fixed in months.

They could invest in a massive hiring campaign, subsidizing the shipping, warehouse, rail, and trucking industries temporarily to clear out the bottleneck and send the economy skyrocketing. For the first time in my life, I’m recommending subsidies for this one-off scenario. That’s how bad things are and that’s how easy it would be to fix this issue.

So, it brings us back to the original question: Why is the Biden-Harris regime allowing this to happen? We could reword the question to focus on Afghanistan and the Americans trapped behind enemy lines. Why did they leave people behind in the first place, and why have they actively subverted attempts to rescue them? We could vary the question and point it towards the southern border. Why did they take policies that were working a year ago and replace them with open borders policies while pretending they’re not embracing open borders?

Pick a policy and apply a variation of the same question. Over and over we will see that this regime is aggressively working towards the cataclysmic destruction of this nation. And I cannot stress enough that it’s not incompetence at play.

There is no degree of stupidity that politicians or bureaucrats can achieve that would make them miss so badly on literally everything. We can’t blame Biden’s dementia since he’s not really running things. This yields only one possible conclusion: They are evil and are destroying the nation as part of a nefarious agenda.

The most likely scenario seems to be that they’re ushering in The Great Reset. Doing so requires the obliteration of capitalism and a worldwide embrace of Neo-Marxism. They’ve already been so engaged in Pandemic Panic Theater that it’s clear the vaccine agenda is an extremely important part of the plan. Must the economic collapse of the United States be rushed in order for the architects of The Great Reset to see their machinations come to fruition? Yes. Of course. Duh.

If there a few honest men or women in Washington DC today, it’s imperative that they ring this alarm bell as loudly as they possibly can. As their vocal constituents, we must make them pull their heads out of the sand and address this issue immediately. We’re not talking about weak Christmas gifts or ramen noodles for Thanksgiving. We’re talking about the dominoes rapidly falling that will make the dollar worthless, negating our ability to live without government intervention. And when that happens, all will be lost. What Venezuela has experienced over the last five years will be concentrated into a much shorter timespan in a nation that is ill-equipped to handle ubiquitous destitution.

If this isn’t fixed immediately, America will cease to exist.

I have NEVER been one who blares klaxons unnecessarily. I’ve railed against the Chicken Littles who started burying food and ammunition ahead of Y2K. I was not embracing the panic that many touted during the 2008 recession. But this is different. This is very real and very capable of plummeting us all down the precipice. It’s time to wake up and scream at the top of our lungs that DC must do something immediately before it’s too late.

Below is an article by Michael Snyder from The Economic Collapse Blog. Read it, share it, and do whatever it takes to make sure the supply chain crisis does not go the way of Afghanistan and the southern border. This must not be ignored a moment longer.

Our Epic Supply Chain Crisis Just Hit Another Level, and Biden Is Considering Calling in the National Guard to Help

It is the month of October, and right now many Americans are more scared by the state of our national supply chains than by anything else. Some of the things that I am going to share with you in this article are truly frightening, and I would very much encourage you to take them seriously. Our economic infrastructure is failing on a massive scale, and officials are openly admitting that things will get even worse in the months ahead. We are in uncharted territory, because none of us has ever seen anything like this before. If our leaders cannot get this fixed, 2022 is going to be a truly nightmarish year.

Of course just last week Joe Biden gave a big speech in which he assured all of us that he was implementing measures which would soon turn things around.
Unfortunately, just like with Afghanistan, the southern border, inflation and so many other problems, our supply chain crisis has gotten even worse now that Biden is personally involved. On Tuesday, it was being reported that the number of vessels backed up off the coast of southern California has just hit a brand new record high

The nation’s largest ports shattered more records Monday as massive bottlenecks at the Ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach continue to wreak supply chain havoc.

The Marine Exchange of Southern California reported 100 vessels berthed October 18, topping the previous record of 97 set September 19.

A single container ship can hold thousands upon thousands of enormous shipping containers, and so we are talking about a backlog of absolutely immense proportions. It would take many months just to work through a backlog of this magnitude even if the ports in southern California were making progress in paring it down. But instead of making progress, the backlog just continues to get even deeper.

As the supply chain crisis escalates, the Biden administration has actively been considering using the National Guard on an emergency basis…

White House officials have explored in recent weeks whether the National Guard could be deployed to help address the nation’s mounting supply chain backlog, three people with knowledge of the matter said.

The idea appears unlikely to proceed as of now, the people said, but reflects the extent to which internal administration deliberations about America’s overwhelmed supply chain have sparked outside-the-box proposals to leverage government resources to address the issue.

This is how serious things have become. Our supply chains are in such a state of chaos that the Biden administration is actually thinking of doing something that has never been done before in American history.

Of course publicly they are still trying to put a happy face on things, but privately administration officials are really freaking out. And things could soon get a lot worse.

Today, approximately 85 percent of all magnesium production in the world happens in China. We should have never allowed ourselves to become so dependent on China, because now we are facing a critical shortage of magnesium, and that could result in a nightmarish shortage of aluminum

The source of the shortage is China’s monopoly on global magnesium production.

Production curbs of energy-intensive smelters have reduced the industrial metal’s output, resulting in dwindling stockpiles in Europe and North America.

Barclays analyst Amos Fletcher told clients in a note that “there are no substitutes for magnesium in aluminum sheet and billet production.” He warned if “magnesium supply stops,” the entire auto industry will grind to a halt.

Oh. That is bad. When I first read that, I just sat there stunned for a moment. Are things really that crazy already? Yes, they are. In fact, we are being told that magnesium reserves in Europe will be completely exhausted “at the end of November 2021 at the latest”

“It is expected that the current magnesium reserves in Germany and throughout Europe will be exhausted in a few weeks at the end of November 2021 at the latest,” the group said. “In the event of a supply bottleneck of this magnitude, there is a risk of massive production losses.”

Needless to say, it wouldn’t just be the auto industry that grinds to a halt. Just think of how many food and beverage products come in aluminum cans. I don’t know if I even have sufficient words to describe how serious this is.

Meanwhile, it is also being reported that we are potentially facing a propane “armageddon” this winter…

The expanding energy crisis is causing propane to rocket higher (read: here) as supplies dwindle to below seasonal levels as research firm IHS Markit Ltd. warns of “armageddon” during the Northern Hemisphere winter.

IHS analyst Edgar Ang told attendees during a virtual presentation on Tuesday that US propane inventories are at a record low and will be extremely tight as cold weather is ahead.

That isn’t good. Millions of Americans use propane to heat their homes. So what are those millions of Americans going to do when supplies of propane run out?

If you use propane to heat your home and you don’t have a back up plan, you need to start developing one right now. As if things weren’t bad enough already, the absurd mandates that our politicians are pushing on all of us threaten to make things far, far worse.

Let me give you just one example

Union Pacific Railroad is the latest company to board the mandatory vaccine train. The company’s 31,000 employees across 23 states have been given just under two months to comply or face additional consequences.

We are already having enormous problems getting things transported across the country, and trains are a key part of that equation. So what would happen if thousands upon thousands of highly experienced railroad workers are suddenly railroaded out of their jobs? Of course similar scenarios will be playing out in industry after industry in the months ahead.

The stage is perfectly being set for so many of the things that I have been warning about, and I am entirely convinced that we will soon see extreme economic pain all across the nation. In this sort of an economic environment, there is no way that our politicians should even be considering any sort of mandates.

But they are pushing ahead anyway, and we are all going to feel the consequences very deeply.

Shocking Glimpse Into Life After The Great Reset - World Economic Forum's Sinister Plans (Videos)

Amy Mek
October 20, 2021

prof-klaus-schwab-wef-1200x630.jpg

The Elites want to dictate every aspect of your life from what you eat, to where you go, down to how many times a week you are allowed to shower and wash your underwear.

The World Economic Forum (WEF) published alarming propaganda videos highlighting what life will be like after the Great Reset, the globalists’ radical plan to remake the global economy in the post-pandemic world.

The release of the videos follows a quietly held WEF and United Nations General Assembly summit in Switzerland on “sustainability.” In addition to the long-running issue of “climate,” they also discussed the transformation of the global tax system and the creation of new “legal” migration routes.

Their radical summit’s central goal was to reorganize the world on all levels until people are without possessions, pumped full of pills, eating their laboratory-created meat in hyper-technical, digitally networked “smart cities” and clothing.

The WEF created short, bizarre, feel-good videos highlighting how people will help them redesign the world. The videos range from cows that no longer burp methane thanks to tablets, starfish created in test tubes to fight climate change, drones for reforestation in Africa, enzymes from human blood to stabilize concrete, and poor hygiene to save the environment.

The WEF also promoted new mRNA vaccinations against various diseases. In addition, they celebrated 24-hour surveillance, digital IDs for clothing, and artificial food and coffee.

‘Climate-Friendly’ Houses
In developing countries, where the “Smart City” is perhaps still a bit far off, one starts with “climate-friendly” houses made from the 3D printer. Who will benefit from this business idea? A little tip: the farmers in Africa will probably not.

It is humorous private jet owners, and frequent fliers like Klaus Schwab and his WEF friends are also concerned about the environment. However, it is noticeable that measures always start with the citizen first, and those who put forward all these suggestions and demands do not lead by example.
Washing Tips From Klaus Schwab
The recommendation of the Great Reset and now laundry pope Klaus Schwab is simple; you should not wash jeans more than once a month, sweaters once every two weeks, and pajamas once a week. The only exceptions to which citizens should be allowed are underwear, which, with Schwab’s blessing, can be washed after each use, reported Wochenblick.
Cows Are No Longer Allowed To Burp or Urinate Outside
The WEF wants cows to start receiving Bovaer, a feed additive produced by Dutch company Royal DSM NV. Just a quarter of a teaspoon of Bovaer per day will cut methane burps by a third for a dairy cow, claims the WEF. That should make agriculture climate-friendly but also economically dependent.
More “Voluntary” Gene Injections
The WEF is promoting Moderna’s human trials for an HIV “vaccine” using mRNA technology. Bragging that this is the same successful technology used in their “Covid-19 shot.” The WEF posed the question: “What other diseases could mRNA technology prevent?” Soon there could be a “voluntary” gene injection against every ailment, real or imagined.
Artificial Foods From Laboratories
Whenever you can play God, the WEF is on fire. Globalists are celebrating projects that specifically breed genetically modified starfish and corals in laboratories to “stabilize” the ecosystem in the ocean.
Now you can take sea urchins and use their innards as a delicacy to make sushi.
Is that just a mirage? Because at the same time, WEF, Bill Gates & Co. are working on artificial meat that will one day feed the world. However, while waiting for our laboratory-created meat, we are encouraged to eat bugs.
The WEF is promoting lab-grown coffee to cut back on deforestation while destroying small farmers’ livelihoods.

In the WEF new world, animals consumed by humans should be fed food made in laboratories. They also believe your pets should consume lab-created food.
Self-Healing Concrete
The WEF is advertising a new miracle weapon for the construction industry – “self-healing concrete.” The concrete contains an enzyme made from human blood.
Soon the whole world can drink fake coffee and eat phony meat and veggies. Does it almost seem as if the elites are trying to kill us?

24-Hour Survalliance
The WEF wants to deploy intelligent drones all over the world, ostensibly to save the planet. It is not coincidental that governments used drones to track down ‘corona violators throughout the coronavirus crisis.’ So they can be used to monitor people, as is already happening in China.

Tracing your clothing is going to save the planet, claims the WEF. If globalists can track everyone and everything they want you to believe your world is somehow going to be better? The Great Reset means the elites gain more control over your life.

Lies, Lies, Lies!

FRIDAY, OCT 22, 2021 - 03:00 PM
Authored by James Rickards via DailyReckoning.com, GOLD

Politicians may be morons when it comes to public policy, but they’re geniuses when it comes to inventing new ways to control your life and steal your money.

Tax increases seem old-fashioned compared with new 21st-century ways to take over the financial system to your detriment and make you pay for their pet projects. Take climate, for example…

We’re all familiar with how climate alarm has been used to dictate changes in transportation, energy generation and construction codes. Of course, these efforts have been massive failures, as witnessed by the ongoing supply chain disruptions and energy shortages.

Large parts of Europe, Japan and China may freeze in the dark this winter thanks to efforts to close down nuclear and natural gas-fired electricity generation. The U.S. will be only slightly better off. We won’t freeze in the dark, but we will face much higher prices for home heating and gas at the pump.

The irony is that the U.S. will burn 23% more coal this year because of the shutdowns in nuclear and natural gas and the inability of wind turbines and solar to make up the difference. Nice job by the climate alarmists!

Will they be held to account? Will they see the error of their ways and abandon their delusions? Don’t hold your breath for either. They’ll only dig in harder.

Climate Alarmism Influencing Financial Decisions
Now the elites have a new way to use climate alarm to their advantage. They will use their existing control of the banks to force their climate agenda by dictating how banks lend and how you are allowed to spend.

The Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) will be required to factor climate alarm into decisions on federally insured or guaranteed mortgages. The Labor Department will evaluate retirement plan managers, including 401(k) and IRA advisers, based on how they factor climate alarm into their investment decisions.

Banks will be told they cannot lend to the oil and natural gas sectors (or will face higher capital charges if they do). Risk managers at institutional investment funds and hedge funds will be required to include climate alarm models in their portfolio allocation decisions.

At a more granular level, you might be denied a line of credit or business loan if your activities do not conform to those deemed acceptable by the climate alarm crowd.

The bottom line is climate alarm is no longer limited to discussions about the power grid and electricity generation. The elites are coming for your 401(k)s, IRAs and bank accounts if you don’t conform to their deluded climate wish list.

We all end up paying for the lies of these elites through higher taxes, damaging regulations and massive economic pain. Just look at the COVID pandemic…

A Long List of Lies
The public policy response to the pandemic has been one long list of lies.

In January 2020, Dr. Anthony Fauci said there was little danger of the coronavirus making its way to the United States. In March 2020, Fauci said Americans should not wear masks. Later in the pandemic, Fauci said Americans should wear masks and later said they should wear two masks.

He was then photographed in public not wearing a mask. Off the record, he has said privately that masks don’t work (which is true). But it gets worse.

They told us to lock down for two weeks to “stop the spread.” Two weeks turned into six months or more. And lockdowns didn’t stop the spread, as multiple studies have demonstrated. They only succeeded at destroying economies and driving people into despair.

The public was then led to believe that the vaccines would stop the spread of the virus. Get your jab and you’ll be free, they said. But then they told you that you needed a second shot. Now they want you to take a third (a booster).

Oh, and sorry, you still need to wear a mask in many places even if you’ve been fully vaccinated.

Vaccines do reduce severe symptoms and deaths (at least for a few months), but they don’t stop the spread. In fact, the vaccinated can become super-spreaders because they can build up large viral loads of the infection without being symptomatic themselves.

Fauci and other public health officials have claimed that the most recent wave is a “pandemic of the unvaccinated.” That’s another lie, based on highly misleading statistics.

Damned Lying Statistics
They were including the numbers of hospitalizations and deaths going back to February, when the majority of Americans were not yet vaccinated. Of course most of the hospitalizations and deaths were among the unvaccinated since only a small percentage had been vaccinated by that point.

To give a more accurate picture, they would have only used data taken after the majority of people had been vaccinated. If they had done that, the numbers would have looked far different.

In Vermont, nearly 90% of the state is vaccinated. But hospitalizations are soaring.

Overseas, data from the British government shows that the infection rate among fully vaccinated people in their 40s was 100% higher than among the unvaccinated.

The Irish counties of Waterford and Carlow, where 99.7% and 98% (respectively) of all adults are vaccinated, cases are exploding. They’re seeing the greatest case load since March.

In Taiwan, evidence indicates more people are dying from the vaccine than from COVID.

COVID cases have also exploded in Israel, which boasts some of the highest vaccination rates in the world.

The European Journal of Epidemiology finds that increases in COVID cases are unrelated to levels of vaccination across 68 countries and 2,947 counties in the U.S.

One Yale University researcher has even argued that the vaccinated represent a real threat to the unvaccinated, rather than the other way around.

Social Media Liars
Meanwhile, the major social media platforms such as Facebook and Twitter amplified the official lies by deplatforming voices who challenged the lies or offered valuable information that was at odds with official propaganda.

For example, early in the pandemic when developed economies were suffering badly, many experts said that developing countries in Africa would be devastated by the disease because their public health facilities were deficient compared to ours. That never happened, because Africans routinely use hydroxychloroquine to prevent malaria.

It turns out that hydroxychloroquine has powerful prophylactic properties for reducing the effects of COVID. If you even mentioned hydroxychloroquine on Twitter or Facebook, your account would be shut down for spreading “misinformation” when in fact you were sending highly valuable information.

Of all the official lies, the worst may have been the discussion of ivermectin. This is a drug that has been in safe use for a long time. It comes in many forms, including for human consumption and a variation used in veterinary medicine.

How Many People Have Lies and Propaganda Killed?
Many individuals have reported favorable results in the treatment of COVID using ivermectin. The Indian state of Uttar Pradesh practically eliminated a severe COVID outbreak by using ivermectin on a broad scale.

Still, in their obsession to force vaccinations with gene-modification therapies (mRNA) from Moderna and Pfizer, the government and mainstream media have trashed ivermectin as a “horse dewormer” and something used only by veterinarians.

This type of lying and propaganda has cost many lives, maybe hundreds of thousands.

The comedian and podcaster Joe Rogan had the opportunity to call out these lies from Big Media. Rogan told CNN’s medical expert Sanjay Gupta, “They’re lying at your network about people taking human drugs versus drugs for veterinary…”

Rogan went on to say, “It’s a lie on a news network… and that’s a lie that they’re conscious of. It’s not a mistake.”

Gupta even admitted it.

Think for Yourself
Rogan’s attack on media lies is commendable. This is more than a policy debate.

The media lies cost lives. The entire episode is a good reminder that when the next pandemic or natural disaster strikes, you should think for yourself and use common sense.

Don’t rely on government and media lies. These days, you just can’t trust them when it comes to topics like climate and vaccinations.'

Unfortunately, we’re the ones suffering the consequences of their lies.

us-intel-agencies-global-warming.jpg

The Defense Department, Homeland Security, National Security Council and Director of National Intelligence released a report on Thursday detailing the severe threats of global warming on the United States and the world.

This major report was released by the Defense and Intel communities after they most recently failed to predict the Taliban would take over Afghanistan in only a few weeks.

And now they release this non-serious report on global warming.

Maybe it’s time to cut back on the funding of these bloated bureaucracies?

The AP reported:

The Earth’s warming and resulting natural disasters are creating a more dangerous world of desperate leaders and peoples, the Biden administration said Thursday in the federal government’s starkest assessments yet of security and migration challenges facing the United States as the climate worsens.

The Defense Department for years has called climate change a threat to U.S. national security. But Thursday’s reports by the departments of Defense and Homeland Security, National Security Council and Director of National Intelligence provide one of the government’s deepest looks yet at the vast rippling effects on the world’s stability and resulting heightened threats to U.S. security, as well as its impact on migration.

They include the first assessment by intelligence agencies on the impact of climate change, identifying 11 countries of greatest concern from Haiti to Afghanistan.

Another report, the first by the government focusing at length on climate and migration, recommends a number of steps, including monitoring the flows of people forced to leave their homes because of natural disasters, and working with Congress on a groundbreaking plan that would add droughts, floods and wildfires and other climate-related reasons to be considered in granting refugee status.

The climate migration assessments urge the creation of a task force to coordinate U.S. management of climate change and migration across government, from climate scientists to aid and security officials.

Vaccine passports & The World Economic Forum’s push for CONTROL

Oct 21, 2021

Glenn Beck

The World Economic Forum continues to push for control. This time, the WEF’s support for the ‘CommonTrust Network’ includes a health passport for people throughout the world to prove they’ve been vaccinated against COVID. But agendas like this one aren’t designed to keep people safe & healthy, Glenn says…

Biden's ECONOMIC END GAME part 1: The nominee who would RADICALLY TRANSFORM our economy FOREVER

Oct 22, 2021

Glenn Beck

Despite what the media says, President Biden's nominee for the Comptroller of the Currency, Saule Omarova, appears to have a disturbing love for the top-down economy she grew up under in the Soviet Union. So, Glenn asks, why is the Washington Post defending her? Glenn reviews — in her own words — what she actually believes, and explains how her approval would mean the beginning of the end of our economy.

Biden's ECONOMIC END GAME part 2: These three things CANNOT PASS Congress

Oct 22, 2021

Glenn Beck

The Biden Administration is moving fast to make economic changes that will affect everybody. Glenn runs through the three biggest things up for debate in Congress that he believes would change the way America works forever: Biden's nominee for Comptroller of the Currency, Biden's reconciliation bill and the mandates hidden within it, and the idea that climate poses an emerging threat to our financial system. This is ALL about "TOTAL CONTROL" through modern monetary theory, Glenn argues, so we can't sit around any longer ...

Why Authoritarianism Must Prevail

FRIDAY, OCT 22, 2021 - 09:00 PM
Authored by Robert Wright via The American Institute for Economic Research,

Freedom anywhere is a threat to authoritarianism everywhere. That is why authoritarians must destroy all freedom and why liberty lovers, and even the merely “lib-curious” (liberty curious), must not just resist blatant authoritarianism, but reject it in all its guises. The fate of the nation, and the world, again hangs in the balance.

To the extent that any freedom persists, authoritarian diktat can be subverted, albeit at a cost. History is rife with examples of bizarre entities, like nonbank banks (I kid you not!), rent-a-banks (ditto!), and gold caches, designed to work around branching restrictions, usury laws (maximum interest rates), the criminalization of holding gold, and sundry other attempts to limit financial freedom. (See my Financial Exclusion for details.)

To squelch “undesirable” activity, like increasing bank competition, voluntarily lending/borrowing small amounts of money at rates commensurate with the attendant costs and risks, or trying to protect one’s family against fiat money inflation, government must outlaw the workarounds too. To get their way, statists must suppress all unapproved activities, which ultimately means forcing would-be innovators to obtain permission before they can lawfully engage in any new activities.

Consider, for example, recent calls to allow the IRS to monitor essentially all bank accounts in the country. Maybe Americans will accept it, if, as claimed, the power is only used to enforce current tax laws. But if tax rates rise appreciably, as it seems they will, given the current administration’s policy goals, or if the transaction information is used for partisan political purposes, or to shame or coerce people into buying this, or not buying that, Americans will begin to search for workarounds. To the extent that the workarounds prove successful, government will be forced to outlaw the workarounds too.

For instance, if workers ask their employers to pay them in Federal Reserve Notes or Bitcoin because they believe that the transaction costs of making payments in those media will be less burdensome than giving some party hack access to the most intimate details of their lives, the government may well force employers to pay workers only in USD and only via bank transfer. It might even ban cryptocurrencies entirely, or at least try to.

Workers might then make one payment per month, to a “bill paying service” that for a fee will pay their bills for them, out of its one, giant bank account. Oh, but that sounds like an unregulated bank taking uninsured deposits so those services will have to be suppressed as well, or perhaps replaced by the central bank.

People may then begin paying everything by credit card, and even direct their employers to repay their credit card issuers directly. Next thing you know Uncle Sam will want to see your credit card statements too. Ditto PayPal, Venmo, and any other fintech apps used to make or receive payments. Thus a seemingly innocuous request to see bank accounts for tax purposes becomes the excuse for full-blown financial repression. This will, as always, hurt the poor the most.

Employers might work around those laws, along with the tax code and vaccine mandates by converting their employees into volunteers and donating payroll to a nonprofit charity with the singular mission of ensuring that the “volunteers” receive “donations” that happen to match the value of their former compensation. Imagine the chaos if every employer simultaneously did that!

Government would have to respond by tightly regulating, if not outright outlawing, charities and volunteer work. Our liberty would be truly lost at that point, and again the poor would suffer most.

Corporations shouldn’t be taxed, but they are. Many of the largest have engaged in (international) tax arbitrage by adroitly shifting headquarters, production facilities, and charters between different states, provinces, and countries.

Governments are now fighting back by establishing a global minimum corporation tax. How long before some entity begins to offer oceanic or orbital (then moon, then Martian) charters as tax havens? Soon after, though, private space flight and oceanic colonization will likely be banned or heavily restricted.
Everyone should be aware that if an international gold ETF issuing bearer shares, Honeypot.xxx (a sex worker-owned substitute for OnlyFans), a parallel university system, or anything else of import that runs against the woke or statist grain begins to gain commercial traction, regulatory hammers will swiftly bludgeon the innovators into compliance, or out of existence.

Were that all! When statist solutions to perceived “problems” create real problems, the call inevitably goes out for yet more government. When pressed about how to pay for UBI (various universal basic income) schemes, for example, schemes that are purportedly needed to solve a nearly nonexistent income disparity “problem,” proponents will sometimes argue for the establishment of a Sovereign Wealth Fund (SWF, or a giant investment fund owned by a government), the dividends and realized capital gains of which can be divided equally among the citizenry.

UBI proponents are not sure where the money to fund the SWF will come from, or if it is a good idea to concentrate all that economic and political power in one decision maker’s hands, but if you want to see their true colors, ask them why individuals cannot simply invest their own money for themselves. Turns out that elites believe that most Americans don’t know how to invest properly, in the “right” (which is to say Left) companies. So look for a push to outlaw individual investment in favor of a SWF-funded UBI, or at least a narrowing of choice to SEC-approved ESG funds. You may still own something in 2030, but it seems increasingly unlikely you will be happy.

America and the rest of the West have been sliding down the slippery slope of statism for so long that they are now rapidly approaching the precipice that ends in rock bottom. Will liberty be crushed and a new dark age commence? Or will the masses then finally see governments as the problem, rather than as the solution?

A Nation Of Imposters

SATURDAY, OCT 23, 2021 - 11:34 AM
Authored by Charles Hugh Smith via OfTwoMinds blog,

That's how we've become a nation of imposters: our imposter stock market hits a new high and the imposters cheer because it proves the scam is still working.
You've read the warnings about the proliferating imposter scams: scammers posing as "officials", representatives of utilities or "a close friend of a family member" all exploit the fast-draining reservoir of trust in America to extract financial information out of the unwary marks.

I'm not sure what's more remarkable: the depths of scammer perversity or the fact that some people can still be conned by claims of authority or friendship. Most are seniors, of course, as the elderly still retain an easy-to-scam trust in institutions and officialdom as a holdover from an era before trust was unraveled by wholesale self-serving deception.

The deeper problem is that America is now a nation of imposters. Everything that is presented as august and trustworthy is an imposter organization designed to enrich the few at the expense of the many via deception and the cloaking of self-serving skims and scams.

A useful tool to uncloaking imposters is to ask: cui bono, to whose benefit? Take the nation's central bank, the Federal Reserve. It claims to be serving the public and the common good, but who actually benefits from its policies?

1. Insiders frontrunning the Fed's public pronouncements to enrich themselves. Here's looking at you, Chairperson Powell and the rest of your self-serving imposter cronies.
2. The top 0.1% who own the majority of productive assets goosed ever higher by Fed policies.
3. Billionaires.
4. The top 10% who own 89% of all stocks:
The wealthiest 10% of Americans own a record 89% of all U.S. stocks

If we strip away the PR, the Fed is an imposter, a self-enrichment scheme for the already-wealthy and the super-wealthy. Its claims to serve the public are just the imposter's deceptive mumbo-jumbo to exploit the naive trust of the marks.

Next up: our imposter judicial system: white-collar financial criminals get wrist-slap fines, if that, while hundreds of thousands of people rot away in America's Drug War Gulag, the fruit of a judiciary obsessed with locking people up even as the War on Drugs enriches drug cartels and has completely failed to reduce drug use.

Rich people can plunder without any fear of our imposter judiciary. Bernie Madoff's fatal mistake was ripping off other rich people, and that made him the perfect stooge for a Soviet-style show-trial in which one fall-guy is convicted as a PR stunt to mask the systemic rot of an imposter judiciary.

Then there's our imposter media, virtually all of which is owned by a handful of quasi-monopoly corporations. This imposter media/social media exemplifies the appeal to authority via "objectivity" and "expertise", while the real action is in what's off limits to serious journalistic digging, what's buried and what's touted as the dominant narrative to explain away what is risibly questionable. ("Let's go Brandon," etc.)

Unfortunately, even the scientific media is riddled with imposters: Medical Journals Are an Extension of the Marketing Arm of Pharmaceutical Companies (journals.plos.org).

Once again, the imposters exploit one of the last remaining pockets of trust, in this case, the trust that "research" that makes it into an academic journal is trustworthy, i.e. the results can be replicated by other researchers, the data hasn't been massaged to reach highly profitable results, dosages haven't been adjusted to skew the results in favor of special interests, and so on.

Lastly, consider our "democracy," which is now little more than an invitation-only auction of favors: $10 million in "auction bids" (campaign contributions, Super-PAC funds, etc.) and some grease in the lobbying machinery can easily garner $100 million in private gains via tax subsidies, no-bid contracts, Medicare limitations on monopoly pricing, etc.

Sorry, but this is an imposter form of democracy, a PR facade fabricated to mask the invitation-only auction of favors. If you don't have the money, your vote doesn't count. If you doubt this, please read:

Testing Theories of American Politics: Elites, Interest Groups, and Average Citizens (www.cambridge.org)
Monopoly Versus Democracy: How to End a Gilded Age (www.foreignaffairs.com)

No one wants to admit we're a nation of imposters because that's a confession of just how deep the rot has penetrated. The systemic rot of imposters exploiting the last reserves of trust starts at the top and then filters down into every nook and cranny as everyone looks at how the rich get richer and learns from the top-level imposters.

That's how we've become a nation of imposters: our imposter stock market hits a new high and the imposters cheer because it proves the scam is still working.

The Snowflakes Aren’t Melting
On the true nature, and danger, of safetyism

Michael Brendan Dougherty | Oct 22, 2021

Commentators and culture warriors have popularized the term “snowflake” in recent years to describe the people, mostly younger Americans, who demand “trigger warnings” and “safe spaces” to protect them from the harm of “microaggressions” and “cultural appropriation.” Just last week, a controversy erupted at Yale Law School because a Native American student who belongs to the conservative Federalist Society sent a house party invitation that referred to the dwelling as a “trap house.” Other law students suspected this might be racist somehow, partly because the source was a Federalist Society student and partly because the party would feature fried chicken. They turned to the administration for help, and the administration attempted to extract an apology from the “offending” party host.

At first glance, the injured students appear to be classic snowflakes and the incident a consequence of what psychologist Jonathan Haidt and civil rights attorney Gregory Lukianoff have termed “safetyism.” America’s shift toward a culture in which the sacred value of safety trumps other practical and moral considerations, they say, has led to child-rearing practices that “prepare the road for the child” rather than “preparing the child for the road.” Instead of building character we build massive bureaucracies to deal with all the complaints that we’ve taught young people to emit at the first sign of discomfort, which they conflate with peril.

On this understanding, parents and schools should have prepared these students to sort things out themselves. Perhaps the offended students could have thicker skin and get over it, or else approach the email’s author and have it out with him face-to-face. We should demand, in other words, that elite law students handle their feelings and their problems less litigiously.

The mistake in this interpretation seems obvious to me: The law students involved are not so fragile. The withdrawal of good faith to the email’s author was deliberate. These “snowflakes” did somehow manage to survive the meritocratic gauntlet leading to Yale Law School, after all. Indeed, it’s notable that most so-called snowflakes accumulate not in society’s quiet valleys where we might expect to find gentler souls genuinely struggling to cope with conflict, but rather atop the peaks of elite institutions to which our most aggressive strivers have clawed their way. These students seem less concerned with their safety than with inflicting damage against potential rivals. Yale Federalist Society members rise to places like the Supreme Court, and an official complaint entered or reprimand elicited now may be political fodder later.

The mistake in this interpretation seems obvious to me: The law students involved are not so fragile.

In a society where safety is the highest value, people will discover that asserting a claim of unsafety is the most effective way to coopt institutional and state power.

Authorities will not only gravitate toward actions that minimize risk, but also run away from making decisions of their own lest the power of victimhood be turned on them. In a culture without shared values beyond “avoid hurt,” risks become impossible to assess or accept against a claim that someone may be harmed, sapping our appetite for exercising judgment in the face of inevitable tragedy and loss. Thus, the safety imperative undermines conservatism and the common good not because it advances some “woke” agenda, but because it enforces through legal and social concepts of liability an absolute preference for harm reduction over the many other values—from liberty and fairness to tradition and hierarchy—that human flourishing requires as well.

As this safety imperative pervades so many institutions, it forms our character as individuals, and shapes our culture. The fragility of college graduates, which is easy to laugh at and dismiss, is not the worst problem safetyism produces. The worst problem it produces is timidity, which is widespread, endemic, and institutionalized. The evidence for this can be found across the nation, from decades of declining business starts, to the way some of the largest and most successful companies sit on cash rather than invest, to the sudden enthusiasm for censorship—a panic about protecting people from supposedly harmful ideas.

And of course, it’s closer to home, too. The safety imperative is evident in the emerging “capstone” model of marriage, where people delay marriage beyond those first years when they are merely finding their footing in the labor market, avoiding any potential early test of the “for poorer” vow. Perhaps it contributes to declining birth rates, as parents try to concentrate resources into the 1.7 children they have. It informs helicopter parenting, which—if my experience is any indication—is a contagion of caution among parents afraid to lose face with one another. And so, no parent risks that an unminded or lightly minded child does something injurious or merely embarrassing. The safety imperative ends up consuming entrepreneurs, parents, lovers, and even childhood itself.

* * *
America’s choice of safety as its sacred value should not be surprising. A diverse nation with many competing worldviews and visions will tend to have a culture that emphasizes what is common to all. Rapid secularization, meanwhile, erodes the salience of values that transcend death itself, leaving a cultural tilt toward health and safety, along utilitarian lines. The question “what’s worse than death or injury?” has fairly common answers in a culture soaked in a Judeo-Christian ethic. It has fewer in ours. In the summer of 2020, when progressives insisted that Black Lives Matter protestors gathering in massive groups were right to defy COVID-19 restrictions, they did not assert their deeply held value of “anti-racism” (perhaps the closest thing on the American left to a religious belief) as more important than public health concerns; they declared that racism was a public health concern of the highest order.

The obsession with safety is also, of course, a product of America’s existing prosperity. Billionaires can and do spend an inordinate amount of time placing hedges to insure against the longest of long-tail risks, like buying citizenship in New Zealand, or setting up survival properties over easily accessible aquifers.

America is not a nation of billionaires, but we are a nation where nobody has to starve, and where the upper middle class that sets the cultural agenda enjoys a physical and financial security unprecedented in human history. It’s natural that a rich nation should be tempted towards contentment and experience an extreme form of “loss aversion” that places much greater weight on the downside of risk than on the potential reward.

In the pandemic era, we can no longer pretend that the safety imperative is just an elaborate bloodsport of manners among the over-primped elite. The ideology is present in irrational demands from some segments of the population to eliminate COVID risk entirely and in the sense of entitlement that one’s own fears provide a legitimate basis for bringing the weight of authority down on others who would rather get on with their lives. But this persists only because it works—because the ideology is equally present in the scrambling bureaucratic response to do something, anything that might appease these demands of protection regardless of their obvious inefficacy. The quintessential manifestation is the custom, and in some cases diktat, of walking into a restaurant with a mask, then removing it once seated, while being served by masked waitstaff.

In the pandemic era, we can no longer pretend that the safety imperative is just an elaborate bloodsport of manners among the over-primped elite.

The superintendent of my local school district frequently sends emails about activities in our schools, always including the same sentence: “As a weekly reminder, please know that [our school district] will continue to adhere to the guidelines of the CDC, the New York State Education Department (NYSED) and the New York State Department of Health (NYSDOH) in our layered approach to mitigating the risk of spread of COVID-19 in our schools.” I’ve come to think of this sentence as the perfect summation of the safety imperative. In these lines, my superintendent has produced a masterpiece of rhetoric. The unmentioned subject is, of course, the school district’s policy on masking young children, and occasionally quarantining some of them. It says none of this directly because avoidance of responsibility is the purpose.

The sentence was mightily effective on me. This past summer, as the CDC’s mask guidance started to retighten, I embarked upon a campaign as the Importunate Father. I kindly but frequently reminded the head of the district that there was no good evidence that masks were an important intervention for children, that most peer nations never masked school children or had ceased doing so already, that the World Health Organization recommended against it. Like the widow of Luke 18, I imagined my pleas would eventually soften the heart of the man in charge.

But no personal response came. By the third time I read the “weekly reminder,” I gave up hope and ceased writing altogether.

“We will continue to adhere to the guidelines of the CDC… NYSED…NYSDOH…” We’re not going to get into whether the guidelines make sense, or whether they’re practical. We’re just going to refer you to unelected authorities.

Expressing yourself on this topic to the people nominally in charge of this institution is utterly futile, so please desist. This announcement, and this policy, isn’t really about protecting kids from the dangers of COVID. It’s about protecting the superintendent from complaints, protest, or worse—lawsuits. The buck doesn’t stop here.

* * *
The district has succeeded in obscuring totally the role of any human being in policy. The superintendent refers to the entire chain of authority, the local and state departments of health, and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Their guidelines, in turn, are mystified as mere commandments from “the science.” “A lot of what you’re seeing as attacks on me quite frankly are attacks on science,” said Dr. Anthony Fauci, “because all of the things I have spoken about from the very beginning have been fundamentally based on science.”

Other public health authorities, like those in the United Kingdom or Denmark, eventually settled on a legible goal for ending the state of exception during the pandemic, delegating risk management down to institutions and individuals themselves. And policymakers in these countries took the risk of public ire if the outcome was unacceptable. The United Kingdom has experienced some surges in cases, but none that spelled real political peril for the government.

The uniquely American character of the safety imperative, especially among the governing class, suggests that it is profoundly shaped by the concept of liability and the belief that disputes should be adjudicated by expert-supplied evidence.

Perhaps this idea of how liability and trials work is still regnant in the mind of our leaders and our culture from the days of the seemingly unstoppable rise of civil jury trials for defective products, applied now to both assumptions about formal legal liability and the workings of the more pervasive court of public opinion. Certainly, this mentality seems to a culprit in the phenomenon of masking waitstaff. Everyone—owners, and workers—becomes just a little more protected, not from COVID necessarily, but from a lawsuit, or at least from the accusation that their own choices led somehow to an infection somewhere.

The uniquely American character of the safety imperative, especially among the governing class, suggests that it is profoundly shaped by the concept of liability and the belief that disputes should be adjudicated by expert-supplied evidence.

In the United States, mainstream media institutions have treated governors like Ron DeSantis and Greg Abbott as renegades partly because they are so visibly taking responsibility for policies on masking and vaccines in their states. They loudly depart from guidelines issued from the federal government; flashing their own judgment to the public makes them a target. Conversely, governors who defer to guidelines from above—notionally from “science” itself—receive absolution regardless of outcome. Their per-capita death rates may look no different, or even worse, but they are held to govern well by exercising judgment least.

For those who hold administrative power, the safety imperative as an inculcated instinct, coupled with the perception that the broader population shares that instinct, generates an individual and institutional flight from responsibility, in the name of risk mitigation and liability avoidance. Let me repeat that for clarity, because I don’t want to be misunderstood: our obsession with safety, as it manifests in America in 2021, is only secondarily about the actual avoidance of substantive risk. We can handle the possibility of loss—of the dangers and harms that might befall us. What we cannot handle—what so many of our institutions fail to prepare us for, and are unprepared for themselves—is what to do when those dangers, harms, and losses arrive attached to the names and judgments of other people. Lacking a shared set of values that license risk, it becomes harder for the public to accept the normal tragedies that may result from a decision, and it makes it harder for leaders and policymakers to justify decisions that include risk. The safety imperative gets carried along by, while amplifying, the powerful force of bureaucratic self-preservation.

One can even see this dynamic at work in the Yale Law School contretemps.

Administrators, debilitated by utilitarianism, are easy marks for claims of even minor “harm” and offense given by students. Title IX and Title VII civil rights laws also surely play a role in their sensitivity to complaints about racism on campus.

But nothing so bold as explicit discipline was ventured—after all, the author of the supposedly offensive email was of a “protected class” too! So instead, the dean drafted an apology letter that the email’s author could sign to mollify his critics and pressured him to sign it with vague references to his reputation. Now, it’s easy to see this as a tyrannical, mob-like threat—and perhaps it was. But just as likely, it was a passive-aggressive form of coercion by an authority who fears pronouncing directly on the substance of the controversy. “I could have written you an email that said, ‘This is wrong’,” the Dean explained to the author. But he didn’t. “Because the university does things differently.” Instead, in the absence of shared values, administrators just hoped to “nip this in the bud” by inducing an apology—that is, an acceptance of liability—however insincere. Authority wielded without conviction and with this level of timidity will always appear as treacherous.

Somewhat speculatively, I would suggest that the character of the internet and the rise of social media have compounded the problem by creating a permanent record that exists primarily to damn us—our lives have become unending depositions. This makes it harder for all but the most shameless to overcome past misdeeds or missteps of inevitably fallible judgment. Google makes us easier to disqualify for opportunity, and so we naturally clam up and try to defer responsibility to others while under the watchful eye of the search bar. Do you want to be the superintendent whose school district got sued for a case of COVID? Probably not.

* * *
The safety imperative is a child of liberalism, and it is here Jonathan Haidt’s insights are most useful. Haidt holds out that liberals do not recognize the moral weight of loyalty, authority, and sanctity, and instead focus almost entirely on moral issues connected to care and fairness. “On issue after issue, it’s as though liberals are trying to help a subset of bees (which really does need help) even if doing so damages the hive,” he writes in The Righteous Mind. “Such ‘reforms’ may lower the overall welfare of a society, and sometimes they even hurt the very victims liberals were trying to help.”

With character-forming institutions now dominated by liberals, America is increasingly in the hands of a leadership class that has internalized the timidity and unwillingness to take responsibility for risks, along with the inevitable accompanying harms. Moral demands that spring from loyalty and sanctity license risk and sacrifice. Having rejected these outright, liberals are left defending a partly imagined “liberal world order” where all good things go together, no one has to be harmed, and therefore nobody faces tradeoffs.

But the problem of governance is that the world doesn’t run like a clock, where minor adjustments repair and tune a mechanism that is designed to work one way forever. The post-Cold War order is not turning out as expected. Our trade policies with China had larger and more concentrated costs at home—in jobs, even in life expectancy—than anyone formulating these policies anticipated.

They also had larger geopolitical costs, such as empowering rather than reforming or obsolescing an authoritarian Chinese Communist Party.

Turning back from the safety imperative would require leaders to own their judgments and the consequences, and—just as important—it would require a people formed to accept that life has tragedies in it because fallible human judgment meets reality.

At home, endless shelves of federal regulation on labor, land use, and the environment were designed for challenges that no longer exist or have been transformed. Lobby groups and incumbent interests sit ready to defend the status quo these regulations created. Any self-governing republic worthy of the name must summon the courage to examine, revise, and reform in light of reality. But this naturally will disturb “a subset of bees.” Such a project will require controversial and creative risk-taking.

Turning back from the safety imperative would require leaders to own their judgments and the consequences, and—just as important—it would require a people formed to accept that life has tragedies in it because fallible human judgment meets reality. It would require institutions that inculcate values other than self-preservation and “fair” administration. This reversal would license us—children, parents, civic leaders, and statesmen—to face the thrilling, meaningful, and life-affirming project of meeting challenges with our honor, and reap for the nation huge rewards in the end.

The Biden gang claims climate change caused the immigration crisis leading illegal immigrants to sneak into the US. (It has nothing to do with liberal manipulation or policies.)

The Biden gang came out with its latest report on climate change. This report claims climate change led to immigration.

In the ‘Introduction’ to the manuscript, Biden’s gang claims the climate is changing more than ever before (something that is impossible to measure) and it is intensifying more than ever before (also can’t be measured). And to top it all off, Biden’s gang reports that climate change has led to immigration.

Climate-Change-and-Migration.jpg

In addition, the report claims that anti-immigration political actors are using real and perceived challenges with ‘climate changed immigration’ to contribute to xenophobia and political tensions.

Below is the report.

Chinese Defector: Covid-19 Was Made in a ChiCom Military Lab and Now We Know Why

by Dr. Joseph Mercola
October 24, 2021
Chinese Defector_ Covid-19 Was Made in a ChiCom Military Lab and Now We Know Why

Editor’s Commentary: There have been plenty of stories speculating that Covid-19 is a bioweapon developed by the Chinese military. Much of the speculation is credible, backed by documentation and first-hand accounts, including the revelations below by Dr. Joseph Mercola and Dr. Li-Meng Yan. But there are two factors preventing this extremely likely theory from getting enough attention.

First and most obviously, the “normies” who get their news from mainstream media and Big Tech will never hear a word about any of this. There are still millions of Americans who have been misled by CNN, Anthony Fauci, and Google to believe that Covid-19 jumped to humans through bat soup or some other non-conspiratorial means. They are not only covering up for the CCP, but also for direct involvement by the National Institute of Health and other American government organizations.

The second reason is more discouraging because it’s not disinformation that causes it. For various reasons, many Americans simply do not want to acknowledge the possibility that the pandemic was man-made because of all that implies. But those who understand the goals of the Chinese Communist Party, World Economic Forum, United Nations, America’s Deep State, and other globalist entities do not need much of a push to accept that there are people in this world who want very bad things to happen.

The incentives vary between individuals and entities. For eugenicists like Bill Gates, depopulation and control through “vaccinations” over the remnant requires a pandemic like this. For egomaniacs like Anthony Fauci, the incentive is similar to healthcare professionals who have been caught making their patients sicker so they can swoop in and save them. The UN and WEF require ubiquitous and absolute government dependency to usher in their Neo-Marxist Great Reset.

The Deep State thrives in a state of worldwide strife.

Then, there’s the Chinese Communist Party. They simply seek totalitarian control.

They envision a near-future in which they are not only the dominant world power but the ONLY world power. Part of their vision includes population control measures such as social credit scoring that keeps the people obedient and productive. Drs. Mercola and Li-Meng discuss much of that below. The groundwork is already in place for such draconian measures to be initiated in the United States.

It’s difficult for some Americans to accept such power being wielded by very evil people with very little if any opportunity for recourse. Nobody likes to feel helpless. But we’re only helpless if we remain an ignorant society. This is why we post articles literally every day exposing the truth to as many people as possible.

The sooner more people accept the potential that Pandemic Panic Theater is part of a plan and not some random event, the more likely it will be that we can stop the powers-that-be in their tracks. We need awareness. We need action. Neither is possible as long as so many people are still turning on corporate media every evening to be told what to think about Covid-19. It’s time for more Americans to start doing some thinking for themselves based on credible information by brave truth-tellers. Two such people are in the video and article below…

Chinese Defector Reveals COVID Origin
STORY AT-A-GLANCE
  • Li-Meng Yan, M.D., Ph.D., escaped from China to the United States to expose China’s cover-up of the origin of the COVID-19 pandemic
  • According to Yan, SARS-CoV-2 was made in a Chinese military lab. The Third Military Medical University and the Research Institute for Medicine of Nanjing Command discovered a bat coronavirus called ZC45. She’s convinced that ZC45 was used as a template and/or backbone to create SARS-CoV-2
  • While the Chinese military may be responsible for the physical creation of the virus, there’s ample evidence showing the U.S. funded at least some of the research that resulted in this pandemic
  • The COVID shots and the vaccine passports fit into the CCP agenda by making the whole world accept and adopt the CCP’s social control system
  • Yan urges Americans to realize the destructiveness of communism, and to resist it in any way possible. This includes refusing vaccine mandates and vaccine passports
Today, we continue our discussion of the COVID-19 pandemic and its origin with a fascinating guest who has been a leader exposing the corruption and fraud with respect to the origin of the virus. Li-Meng Yan is both an M.D. and Ph.D., with specific training in coronaviruses. She escaped from China’s influence while in Hong Kong to the United States to warn us of what she believes is a massive cover-up.

Yan went to medical school, followed by a Ph.D. program in ophthalmology. The school where she got her Ph.D. was originally a military medical university, which helps explain some of her personal network. She has contacts in both civilian and military research laboratories and hospitals in mainland China.

After finishing her studies, she decided to pursue research. For two years, she worked in an ophthalmology lab in the University of Hong Kong, where she researched stem cells, drugs and artificial tissue development. She was then invited to join the lab of professor Malik Peiris.

Yan’s husband had worked with him and Peiris was impressed with Yan’s skillset. She jumped at the chance to learn more about emerging infectious diseases. She worked with Peiris for five years, until she escaped to the U.S. in April 2020.

“I worked on the influenza virus, universal influenza vaccine development, and then focused on the SARS-CoV-2 after the outbreak,” she says.

SARS-CoV-2 Was Made in a Chinese Military Lab
At the end of December 2019, Yan’s supervisor, Dr. Leo Poon, who is also an emerging infectious disease expert with the World Health Organization, assigned her to conduct a confidential investigation into a mysterious new pneumonia-like infection.

Colleagues and friends at universities and hospitals around China gave her information, which she forwarded to Peiris and Poon. They did not follow up on it, however, which she says “shows that they want [to] help China to cover it up.”

In January 2020, Poon asked her to look into whether the raccoon dog, a civet cat-like animal, which was a host for the original SARS virus, might also be an intermediary host for SARS-CoV-2. Yan’s research, however, was indicating that the virus did not come from nature. Poon warned her to keep silent or “you will be disappeared.”

According to Yan, SARS-CoV-2 was made in a Chinese military lab. The Third Military Medical University in Chongqing, China, and the Research Institute for Medicine of Nanjing Command in Nanjing, had discovered a bat coronavirus called ZC45. The discovery of ZC45 was published in early 2018.

“If you compare this virus genome and the SARS-CoV-2 virus genome, you will realize [this is the] smoking gun,” Yan says. She’s convinced that ZC45 was used as a template and/or backbone to create SARS-CoV-2.

In mid-May 2020, shortly after she’d left Hong Kong, the journal Nature published a paper1 Yan had co-written, detailing the pathogenesis and transmission of SARS-CoV-2 in golden hamsters. This experiment showed SARS-CoV-2 primarily spreads via aerosol.

In mid-September 2020, Yan published an open access paper2 on Zenodo, in which she and her two co-authors laid out the evidence and their theory for SARS-CoV-2 being manmade.

Almost immediately, four “reviewers” of her work denounced it as being an “opinion” piece that was “flawed” and not scientifically in line with currently accepted knowledge of the origin of the virus. One reviewer3 said, “The manuscript attempts to refute our current understanding of the origins of SARS-CoV-2. Briefly, the consensus is that SARS-CoV-2 is a zoonosis and originated in bats with perhaps an intermediate host before spilling over into humans.”

A year later, in 2021, numerous indicators4,5 show that dismissing the lab leak hypothesis was premature and there is no “consensus” of a zoonosis origin.

Documents obtained through a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request by The Intercept6 also point directly to a lab origin, so much so that the WHO’s director general, Tedros Ghebreyesus, called for a new investigation into it, writing in the October 13, 2021, edition of the journal Science,7 “A lab accident cannot be ruled out until there is sufficient evidence to do so and those results are openly shared.”

The Escape From China
Initially, Yan had released information via an American YouTube blogger that was very popular in China. By the end of April 2020, a colleague warned Yan she was at risk of being “disappeared.” That’s when she decided to flee to the U.S. Luckily, she already had a valid visa. Her husband was deeply opposed to her leaving, as you might imagine. She explains:

“I didn’t know it would happen like [it did]. From January to April [2020], I didn’t tell him what I had done. I tried to protect him, because at that time, in Hong Kong, there were a lot of people fighting against government for democracy and freedom. They can get disappeared easily.

But if their family don’t know what they have done, it’s kind of safe for the family.

That’s why I tried to protect him. But when I heard that I need leave, I tried to bring him with me. He’s not Chinese. He’s from Sri Lanka. When I told him, he was outraged, which was really not like him. He warned me, saying ‘We can go nowhere. They are everywhere. We can do nothing.'”

Her husband even threatened to have her killed if she left. The next two weeks were a dangerous time for Yan. Her husband kept her under surveillance, and she developed a sudden heart problem. The day before she left, she went for a checkup. She had a resting heart rate of 130, which is a sign of sinus tachycardia.
Yan suspects foul play, saying the Chinese government prefers to “disappear” people by making it look like a natural death. “Like this virus,” she says.

According to Yan, infections and heart attacks are common strategies used to get rid of dissenters. Yan also suspects her husband may have been helping them.

Fortunately, since entering the U.S., the attacks have been relegated to discrediting her and ruining her reputation. “For example, they created thousands of fake accounts on social media, using at least seven languages, to spread [lies about me] and attacks to discredit me,” she says.

According to Yan, this has been verified by FireEye, a cybersecurity company that also does work for American intelligence agencies. Her family, who are in mainland China, friends and even alumni are also under strict surveillance by the Chinese government, she says.

Vindication
While the whole world denied the possibility that SARS-CoV-2 was manmade for over a year, in recent months, the truth has finally entered the mainstream. A number of reporters have wrestled with excuses, trying to justify or explain away their long-held denials.

“Last year in July, when I was first on Fox News, I told them the WHO and the CCP are corrupted and are in the cover-up together,” Yan says. “At that time, it was a bombshell. Now, most people realize [the virus] is not from nature. That is a very good turning, and I keep helping other people to realize the evidence.

I explain to them the CCP’s style and the evidence. Now, I see that even some mainstream media are starting to talk about the possibility of [it being a] bioweapon. I think it is very encouraging. Because people need to realize that China is using this virus together with their misinformation campaign and propaganda to attack all over the world.”

Who’s Running the Show?
While the Chinese military may be responsible for the physical creation of the virus, there’s ample evidence showing the U.S. funded at least some of the research that resulted in this pandemic.

The flow of money from Dr. Anthony Fauci’s National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), the EcoHealth Alliance run by Peter Daszak and the Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIV) is well-documented. Ralph Baric, Ph.D., at the University of North Carolina has also conducted research that appears to have been applied to SARS-CoV-2.

Part 1 of 2

Part 2 of 2

The sequence of events is confusing, however, and it’s unclear just who is the real string-puller in all of this. When asked what her take is, and who she believes might be running the show, Yan replies that even without American funding, China certainly would still have managed to create this virus.

“The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) … they are a giant octopus and they have tentacles. The brain is the CCP. Those scientists, especially the military scientists and coronavirus experts [such as] my previous supervisor, Dr. Malik Pieris, they are the ones that had the real evil ideas.

They enjoy it, and they want to command this knowledge … Even China cannot use their tentacles … if they cannot use infiltration to get your money, they will still manage to get your technology and do it in China. That’s the key point. The money from American taxpayers, it looks a lot. Yes, it’s millions [of dollars]. However, compared to the money donated by the Chinese government, it’s just a very small piece …

They developed this virus and other things in their unrestricted bioweapons program. They want to destroy Americans’ economic and social order, destroy your civilization. [While the virus has attacked worldwide], they always list America as a primary enemy and the biggest problem.

So, when they show you this kind of propaganda, through TikTok and other social media [where Chinese citizens] tell you, ‘Oh, in China we control the outcome and it’s good, and we love our government.’ American people will feel, ‘Yeah, maybe we should give up our democracy and turn to try communism.’ That’s all they want to do.”

Chinese Data Collection
Since the start of the pandemic, it’s been near-impossible to determine how many Chinese have actually been affected. According to Yan, the CCP will only release data that benefits itself.

“Chinese people all know not to trust any data that comes from our government,” she says. “They don’t do statistics. They just sit there. Whatever data they want, they write it down. That’s how they [produce] data.”

According to Yan, the CCP has been using the converse strategy used in the U.S. and elsewhere. Rather than inflate case numbers, they’ve been suppressing them.

One way they’ve been doing this is by delaying diagnosis, so deaths are not listed as COVID-19 deaths.

“It’s totally opposite,” she says. “For example, in America, once a person has been diagnosed with COVID, even if they later died of some other problem, they still will be [counted] as a COVID case.

But in China, they can use a ventilator to make the patient survive until the test comes out negative. They have thousands of ways to handle it. Importantly, they also gave early treatment, including hydroxychloroquine and other drugs.”

According to Yan, military scientists in China have also filed a patent to use hydroxychloroquine to treat COVID-19. “That made them earn the top anti-COVID award by Chairman Xi last year,” she says. Hydroxychloroquine is also sold over the counter in China, so it’s easy to get a hold of. She believes part of the reason why the death toll in the U.S. has been so high is because hydroxychloroquine was suppressed and censored.

Is There a Connection Between the COVID Shots and the CCP?
The COVID-19 pandemic has clearly been capitalized upon by greedy drug companies, and the suppression of early treatment drugs appears to have been an intentional strategy to make the COVID shot — which is turning out to be extraordinarily hazardous to your health — the only alternative. How does the COVID “vaccine” tie into the theory that SARS-CoV-2 is a CCP bioweapon? Yan says:

“Definitely there is a clear connection between the vaccine and the CCP’s strategies … Some people … try to explain that the vaccine will kill people, and therefore it is another bioweapon. But this is not an accurate reason. First China released the virus they developed in the military labs. This virus doesn’t have a high death rate … That’s why I called it an unrestricted bioweapon. It looks like it’s natural occurring.

Once you realize something is wrong, they use misinformation and denial to confuse you. So, when China released it — and China controls the scientific community to spread misinformation, and censored [information] to let people believe it’s come from nature — what will people do?

They will think about drugs, the drugs they already have. The other way is a vaccine, because people are educated to accept a vaccine can end a pandemic.

In this case, useful drugs like hydroxychloroquine and ivermectin are so cheap.

How could they use this to earn huge profits? The CCP also had a lot of stock shares from Pfizer, Moderna and other big pharmaceutical companies. Check the money they put in … And then big pharmaceutical companies, they all say, ‘OK, now we can use this chance to make money.'”

Clearly, many who support and push the COVID shot know full well that they’re bound to cause health problems. Yan herself was asked to work on a COVID vaccine but she declined after looking into the available science. No coronavirus vaccine has ever been released, despite scientists working on it for two decades.

The reason? The vaccines cause too many injuries. They’re lethal. Yan did not believe these problems could be overcome for SARS-CoV-2. Peiris himself discovered antibody-dependent enhancement during efforts to develop a vaccine against the original SARS virus. Still, when money is being thrown at scientists, they’re usually not going to turn it down.

Once you support mandate for two doses, then you have to support for the booster, and then support 60 boosters, 199 boosters. It will be endless. And you’ll be tied into this [social] credit system you built. ~ Li-Meng Yan

Vaccine Passports Will Usher in a Social Credit System
Of course, the COVID shots and the vaccine passports also fit into the CCP agenda by making the whole world accept and adopt the CCP’s social control system. The vaccine passports are clearly designed to usher in a social credit system like they have in China. And with that, you get 24/7 digital surveillance and an unbelievable amount of control over every single person.

As explained by Yan, in China, the digital surveillance system is so advanced, if your phone GPS shows you were near an infected person, you are automatically ordered into isolation.

What’s more, if parents or grandparents fail to get the COVID shot, the family’s children are barred from school, even if they got the shot. Every aspect of life is linked together through this system, so a poor social credit score will also have financial ramifications, and will dictate if, where and how you’re allowed to travel.

Yan points out that Americans, being unaware of the Chinese surveillance system, don’t understand that by agreeing with vaccine mandates and passports, they are saying yes to a total surveillance system that will dictate their entire lives.

They’re also saying yes to being guinea pigs for an endless stream of questionable vaccines.

“Once you support mandate for two doses, then you have to support for the booster, and then support 60 boosters, 199 boosters. It [will be] endless,” she says. “And you’ll be tied into this [social] credit system you built.”

China Wants World Dominance by 2035
According to Yan, China’s goal is to achieve world dominance by 2035. With that aim in mind, they’ve spent decades developing unrestricted bioweapons. With COVID-19, they’re well on their way.

“They want to use all this to overcome the world, and America is their primary enemy,” Yan says. “So we have to stand up for the future, for our next generations.

We cannot keep silent. This will be the last chance we have to fight against such communist evil plans, and to save all of us. And, most importantly, we have to all work together to stop the next pandemic or attack that comes out of China …

[Just look at] what’s happening in Hong Kong now. In two years, from 2019 until now, China destroyed the systems of law, democracy and freedom in Hong Kong.

They also enacted national security laws. Basically, they own your privacy. They own your freedom, and you are forced to listen to them.

There is no reason they can’t do whatever [they want] to you. Basically, you are a slave living in a modern society. No doubt, once China overcomes America, it will be the same here, and maybe worse because they will have other technology at that time.”

When asked what actions Yan believes we need to take to resist and derail this plan, she says:

“I want Americans to know that, first, adults should realize the evilness of Communism, Maoism, Marxism, no matter what name it changes to … And once you realize that, speak out about it, because they are using propaganda to brainwash people, to brainwash the kids.

Also, you must let your policymakers, legislators, know this. I’m a foreigner, but you are an American citizen. You can vote, so you must let them understand the importance and push them to do something. Don’t believe the Chinese government and don’t give any mercy to the CCP.

Also, you have to update your own system. Study the weakness in your whole system, [the weakness that allows them] to divide America. Once you do all these things, hold them accountable and don’t let them do more. That’s the end of the pandemic.”

You can follow Yan on Twitter for frequent updates and breaking information. Her only authentic Twitter account is @Dr.LiMengYan1.

The Truth About COVID-19” exposes the hidden agenda behind the pandemic, showing the countermeasures have nothing to do with public health and everything to do with ushering in a new social and economic system based on totalitarian, technocracy-led control. Biden Abandoned Critical Mineral Reserves In Afghanistan While Thwarting Mining At Home

MONDAY, OCT 25, 2021 - 06:30 AM
Authored by Nathan Worcester via The Epoch Times,

Republicans on the House Committee on Natural Resources held a forum Oct. 22 to discuss how President Biden’s exit from Afghanistan left massive, untapped reserves of rare-earth metals, lithium, and other vital minerals in Taliban hands, potentially opening them up to exploitation by China.

Rep. Paul Gosar (R-Ariz.) in the Statuary Hall of the Capitol building on the way to attending the State of the Union in Washington on Jan. 30, 2018. (Samira Bouaou/The Epoch Times)

Speakers said the Biden administration has simultaneously worked to hinder key mining projects in the United States, such as Minnesota’s Twin Metals copper-nickel project and Arizona’s Resolution copper mine, which would allow the United States to produce many of those minerals at home, thereby avoiding dependence on the Taliban or the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).
“It’s almost like it’s intentional, to stop U.S. production of these critical minerals and elements,” said Ranking Member Bruce Westerman (R-Ark.).
Westerman’s remarks were later echoed by Rep. Tom Tiffany (R-Wis.), who said that some of the environmentalist groups fighting mining “we think are getting money from Russia, China, and other countries that are foes of ours.”

Rep. Pete Stauber (R-Minn.), whose district would include the proposed Twin Metals mine, spoke at length about the economic and security costs of relying on key minerals from abroad.
“For fifteen years, scientists from the USGS [U.S. Geological Survey], at a taxpayer cost of right around $81 million, found massive amounts of lithium, gold, platinum, iron, coal, uranium, and more,” said Stauber.
“We know what happens next. The Taliban’s neighbor to the east, China, will swoop in and shortly thereafter control all of these mineral resources. There is no doubt at our current pace, the United States will have to purchase those minerals from China for our electric cars, our windmills, our iPhones, and our solar panels,” Stauber continued.
“Northern Minnesota has these minerals. We could look to union miners to supply them from my district. We have 95 [percent] of America’s nickel, 88 [percent] of America’s cobalt, and over one-third of America’s copper. It should be easy.”
Discussing the possibility of the imminent Chinese mineral exploitation in Afghanistan, Joe Felter of the Hoover Institute said it was plausible, though not certain.
“It depends. The challenges and calculated risks of mining rare earths and other minerals are significant in Afghanistan, and they could outweigh the opportunities in the near- and medium-term.
One notable exception, I think, is China’s interest in getting increased access to lithium,” said Felter, who served in the Pentagon under Trump.
Felter recommended that the United States reduce its reliance on Chinese or Chinese-dominated supply chains.

Pressed by Stauber on where else the United States could source minerals, Felter responded that “almost any other country than China would be a better alternative” before noting that Australia was a U.S. ally with significant mining capacity.

Mary Hutzler, a distinguished fellow at the Institute for Energy Research, described the scale of the United States’ dependence on Chinese mineral resources for its renewable energy infrastructure, which dwarfs our past reliance on foreign oil before the United States achieved energy independence under President Trump.
“Our reliance on China is about 80 [percent] for these minerals right now, where the high for us in 2001 on oil from the Middle East was 23 [percent],” she said.

“We’re going to be four times as dependent on China as we were on the Middle East.”
According to Hutzler, China’s competitive advantage in mineral processing and refinement stems in part from its reliance on cheap coal energy, which it is expected to expand.

Hutzler also stated that environmental permitting has stymied many recent mining projects in the United States, with the second proposed lithium mine in the United States, Nevada’s Thacker Pass, currently delayed by lawsuits.

In response to questioning from Rep. Cathy McMorris Rodgers (R-Wash.), Hutzler said that Europe’s present reliance on Chinese magnesium for automobile manufacturing offers a cautionary tale.
“With China’s crunch recently, they have closed 35 of their 50 magnesium plants. As a result, they are not exporting magnesium to Europe. Europe has only stockpiles to go through November. As a result, what’s going to happen is their automobile industry will become a standstill industry. That could happen to us because of our dependence on China,” said Hutzler.
Tiffany was among those who focused on the human rights abuses accepted by those who rely on minerals mined or processed in China.

He has introduced legislation aimed at preventing goods made with forced Uyghur labor from entering the U.S. market.
“We [Americans] are freedom-loving people. We do not accept that the Uyghurs should be enslaved,” he said.
Rep. Yvette Herrell (R-N.M.) asked Felter whether Chinese-mined or -processed minerals could be expected to rely on child labor, as in the mining operations in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
“We shouldn’t expect anything different from China than their track record suggests—and it’s a pretty poor track record,” said Felter.
“When you’ve got these foreign-owned businesses run by the state that don’t have the same labor requirements we do, don’t have the same health and safety and environmental requirements, really, the only way I see you stop that is to penalize those imports coming into our country,” said Westerman.

Rep. Paul Gosar (R-Ariz.) closed the forum by urging members to support his proposed legislation, the Stopping Terrorist Mineral Trade Act, which would prevent the importation of minerals, or mineral-derived products, originating in Afghanistan.

“I know that my colleagues at this forum wish this important topic was something we could approach on a bipartisan basis, grounded in factual discussions focused on solutions. Unfortunately, our Democratic colleagues see all American mining as unnecessary, and are hellbent on seeing that it doesn’t happen,” said Gosar.

“For some reason, they never can see the right mine or the right place in America for mining,” he added.

The Gaslighting Of America

MONDAY, OCT 25, 2021 - 09:10 PM
Authored by Bob Weir via AmericanThinker.com,

I remember a comedy skit several years ago in which a woman comes home unexpectedly and finds her husband in bed with another woman. Shocked, she demands to know who the woman is and why her husband is doing this. The couple get out of bed and start getting dressed as the man says to his wife, "Honey, what are you talking about?" The wife, perplexed at the question, says, "I'm talking about that woman!" Meanwhile, the other woman, now fully dressed, heads for the door. The husband says, "What woman? Honey, are you feeling okay? There's no woman here." Feeling dazed and confused, the wife begins to question her own sanity.

That's a pretty good example of what the Biden administration is pulling on the psyche of the American people.

What they're doing is not merely "spin," which has become SOP whenever a political party does a clever sales job on the public in order to keep certain facts from them. No, this is much more than shrewd marketing; this is blatantly lying in the public's face and telling them they're crazy if they believe their own eyes.

When we look at videos showing thousands of migrants coming across our southern border with impunity, while Biden and his cohorts tell us they have the situation under control, we're being gaslighted.

When thousands of Americans and Afghan allies are abandoned to be tortured and killed by Taliban terrorists, while Biden's press secretary, Jen Psaki, tells us the war ended successfully, we're being told not to believe what we're seeing.

President Trump made our country energy independent, only to have his success overturned by Biden on day one of Biden's presidency. That forced our country to once again be dependent on foreign oil. Biden said his action would help protect the environment. We scratch our heads and wonder how it makes sense to ship millions of barrels of oil on cargo ships from thousands of miles away, only to be used the same way it was used when it was processed here.

Does foreign oil have less environmental effect than American oil?

When Biden proposes a $3.5-billion "infrastructure bill" that is heavily weighted toward social engineering and radical "Green New Deal" initiatives, we're told that everything is infrastructure.

We're also told that the massive spending bill will cost "zero dollars" because the new taxes will be assessed only on the wealthy.

Then, to add more consternation to a public getting groggy trying to keep up with twelve-digit numbers, Biden and his accomplices want another $80 billion for the IRS so its agents can check into every bank account that has transfers of $600 or more. As if the IRS weren't already a liberty-crushing organization, Biden wants to provide it with more ammo to use against those who oppose him.

Nevertheless, we're told it's going after only tax cheats. Why would these people need $80 billion more to do what they've always done? Don't ask, lest you get audited for questions they don't want asked.

When the supply chain of cargo ships, carrying about a half-million shipping containers filled with goods from all around the globe, are stalled in the waters outside major American port cities, we're told by White House chief of staff Ron Klain that it's just "high-class problems."

In other words, only the wealthy are waiting for the goods to arrive at stores.

Moreover, Jen Psaki mocks it as the "tragedy of the treadmill that's delayed" — another elitist poking fun at the reasonable expectations coming from the working class.

The list of gaslighting incidents is growing longer than Pinocchio's nose.

Each time we are faced with another destructive lie, our attention is diverted to the latest Trump investigation or the probe of one of his supporters. Keeping the January 6 imbroglio alive is one of those diversions. The radical left has come to power by a sinister display of distractions from reality. A major part of that distraction is using accusations of racism to muzzle opposition. Most people will cower in fear of such labeling, even when they know in their hearts it's not true. That's precisely what makes the accusations so useful to those who seek power through intimidation and distortion of reality.

President Trump called out situations for what they are, without the odious and murky filtration of political correctness. That's why the entrenched powers of Deep State corruption despised him.

Now we're stuck with a president who says "what inflation?" as we pay higher prices than ever at the gas pump and the supermarket. I seriously doubt that shoppers are questioning that reality.
