He says this comet will pass closer, I believe. Then he also says this comet has a huge tail, and that the earth will be passing through that dust tail.
Not going to post a link because there's many sites describing it. When I started reading deeper about this Comet that green tail is made up of not only dust but also Cyanide gas. Just search the web using the terms "Comet Cyanide gas".c19 is a fragment of the great comet of 1844 which appeared simultaneous to an unknown fever and respiratory disease, as per the Bill Page compilation of Epidemics and infectious diseases 1844-1922.

Frankly I sometimes wonder if they aren't skimming for doom porn at places like TB2K and FictionPress. Yes, but wrong comet and wrong scenario. Wrong questions being asked.
This is a bigger deal than anyone is acknowledging.
This isn't necessarily about preparing for one large, known object to hit as an Earth-ender, it's not the movie scenario you see in "Deep Impact" with one large object incoming.
The threat we are under are the smaller unknowns, the 100-200 ft "buckshot" which can cause massive amounts of damage and are nearly impossible to account for.
Allow me to elaborate.
A NEW COMET:
Comet C2019 Y4 ATLAS was discovered on December 28th (3 months ago).
It is currently passing Mars's orbit on an inbound trajectory.
It has far surpassed all estimates for brightness and speed, ramping up several hundred times more than the original calculations have suggested. This indicates that they have no idea how to measure it accurately, or at least not in a timely enough manner.

THE COSMIC BUCKSHOT:
With this comet comes a debris field, including the many asteroids which are now making fly bys of Earth. 2020EF, 2020DP4, 52768 (1998 OR2), etc.
People in Northeast Pennsylvania may have witnessed portions of this a few days ago when a 100 mile long sonic boom and blue lights in the sky. This is similar to what happened in Chelyabinsk, Russia a few years ago, but the PA event was hidden by cloud cover that night.
There was also an event the first two weeks of February where a potentially hazardous asteroid came and went and nothing was ever said about it until the day before.

The problem here is NOT the known objects, it is the unknown. These comets and asteroids all stand the risk of breaking up and causing smaller debris which cannot be adequately tracked, or if it is spotted, is not spotted soon enough to do anything about.
This is the wildcard.

Their modeling exercise was around one large asteroid headed towards Denver which they are able to divert, but in so doing, it breaks off a 180ft chunk which they can't do anything about.
This chunk falls over New York city and airbursts at 5000 ft.
The resulting fallout is the equivalent of a 14 megaton nuclear warhead dropped on the city and decimates all of Manhattan.
It is considered "unsurvivable".
We have several known asteroid pieces which are that large coming towards us right now, and that's just what they managed to catch and publicize.
This isn't theory, this is fact.
I don't have any conclusions to draw about this. I am not saying this has anything to do with the quarantine. I don't particularly give a shit about Coronavirus or Ellen Degeneres.
What I am saying is that it's now being acknowledged that major destructive events like Tunguska, the vitrified forts of Europe and the glass fields of Asia are all related to airburst events of smaller asteroids which caused massive destruction which came out of nowhere.
Airbursts, just like the ones happening now.
Deploy all the National Guard you want. A single 200 foot rock can cause more destruction than the largest and most powerful nuclear device ever developed by mankind.
Given the circumstances, *if* this is not about the flu, I think the president quarantining the population, telling everyone to stay at home with their families, and preparing to hunker down, is the most humane and decent way to deal with the situation. I think they are doing a wonderful job in what would be the most difficult situation a leader could ever experience.
