With tears running down my cheeks as DJT had his hand over his heart (did you see him sort of beat his chest/heart a couple of times?) I asked my computer screen, "Are you feeling the weight Mr. Trump? Do you feel the weight of just not our nation, but the world?"

Cspan is also covering the Lincoln Memorial event live. It's interesting-haven't seen a SINGLE protester there yet. I can say that traffic all round the Virginia side of the memorial bridge has been in knots all day long. Around Arlington cemetary today the traffic was a total mess. And GPS has been acting pretty funky in the area today as well. GPS signals wouldn't load, directions would reroute you around the area into oddball streets etc.
Trump and Melania are coming down the steps now. Good to see such a classy looking couple. Melania looks freakin' stunning......

Just thought of something-isn't it nice to hear some country music being played on the mall? 8 years of Osama and rap and glorification of nothing but black artists. Remember memorial day when Eminem cussed a blue streak for his whole performance on stage at the concert? Disgusting.
Those days are OVER. Woohoo!!!!
Also, some good news regarding the inaugural. The weather here for tomorrow has changed. It's going to start raining about the time Trump takes the oath of office, maybe earlier. And it's going to be about 50 degrees..... Got a feeling snowflakes may sit the protests out. But, the SS made a change this afternoon-people can now bring in Totes style collapsible umbrellas through the security checkpoints. We're gonna get wet tomorrow.
Also-400 busloads of people are scheduled to come into DC tomorrow morning for the inaugural. There are over 2000 buses scheduled to come in Saturday, for the womens march. RFK stadium is where the buses usually park-there's no more room all the bus spaces have been booked up.

Thanks for all the photos and links. Finally watched the wreath laying ceremony. I will admit my eyes filled with tears; finally a president who loves this country, loves the military, takes his responsibility seriously, is sacrificing his good life to serve the citizens. It just hit me actually.
A beautiful time of honor, by honorable men, in honor of those who have given it their all... Not since Mr. Reagan, has this meant so much to me, for my parents are buried at Arlington... I never felt that anyone since Mr. Reagan was honorable- until today... My parents, in Heaven, I'm sure are pleased...

It was beautiful and solemn. You could see the momentousness of this humbled him, he swallowed several times to catch his emotion. And yes the chest thump was beautiful. He loves this nation, our traditions and will die for us if necessary too.
And the family were graceful and elegance personified, loved the day coats on Ivanka and Tiffany. Fashion & Glam is back!
