Left-wing "The View" co-host Sunny Hostin declared on Wednesday that her friends and family are buying up guns, but her inner circle is arming themselves because of "White supremacy," not because of a rise in homicides and shootings across the nation.

"A lot of my friends and family members have begun to purchase guns, they’ve begun gun training and, I think, a lot of it has to do with the increase in violence against Black people," Hostin said.

"If you listen to the FBI statistics, we had FBI Director [Christopher] Wray testify that the greatest threat in the United States is White supremacy," Hostin continued. "And who are the victims of White supremacy? Generally they are African Americans so I really believe that that is why you are seeing African Americans now buying guns … the Second Amendment is for everyone."

Wray said in 2019 that the danger of "White supremacists, violent extremism or another kind of extremism is of course significant," but America’s major cities have recently seen an onslaught of high-profile shootings that are unrelated to White supremacy.

In recent days, partiers celebrating Juneteenth in Northern California were seen blocking an ambulance as responders tried to transport victims of a shooting in which one person was killed, a Chicago couple was beaten and shot to death by a group of suspects following a minor traffic crash in a horrific scene that was captured on video and a New York City gunman fired at an alleged gang member as two young children were inches away.

Chicago police reported 38 shooting incidents, 54 shooting victims and eight murders from 6 p.m. Friday to midnight on Sunday alone.

Hostin’s comments came after the Biden administration announced "zero tolerance" for gun dealers who willfully violate the law, as part of the administration's strategy to combat what the Department of Justice calls a "staggering" surge in violent crime.

Biden plans to discuss how $350 billion of the $1.9 trillion COVID-19 relief package can be used by cities to hire law enforcement officers, pay overtime, prosecute gun traffickers and invest in technology to make law enforcement more efficient. The Biden administration also said it would convene state legislators and attorneys general regarding policy strategies to hold gun dealers and manufacturers accountable for their contributions to the crime wave.

While crime is rising – homicides and shootings are up from the same period last year in Chicago, Los Angeles, Minneapolis, Houston, Baltimore, Portland, Oregon, and Baton Rouge, Louisiana – violent crime overall remains lower than it was a decade ago or even five years ago.

I really doubt any of her friends have been shot by whites. Any white.

Then there is the fact that blacks shoot far more blacks than whites do, despite what we see on the news.

The same FBI idiots who say it is white supremacy are the same ones who also say it is blacks who generally kill blacks.....

Idiots......

Video of Florida trooper tasing teen sparks outrage

A video of a Florida state trooper tasing a 16-year-old boy has outraged the teen's mother. The video shows Jack Rodeman outside his girlfriend's home in Fort Myers last week as the trooper approaches him with his Taser drawn.

"Put your hands behind your back," the trooper said.

"I didn't do nothing," Rodeman responded.

Moments later, the trooper deploys his Taser and the teen falls to the ground.

"I do not feel that my son deserved that," said Kristina Rodeman, the teen's mother.

When asked if her son should've complied with the officer, Kristina said, "Probably, and I agree he should have dropped his phone. He's a good kid but he is defiant with law enforcement a bit."

The teen's mother is outraged that the trooper repeatedly tased her son while he was on the ground in pain, saying he was "absolutely not a threat."

The trooper said he followed the teen, who is biracial, into the backyard because he looked suspicious and tased him when he refused to follow his commands to turn around and put his hands behind his back.

"I think something should have been done, he shouldn't have done that to my kid," Kristina said. "His girlfriend is traumatized, her mother is traumatized and I am traumatized."

When asked how her son was doing, Kristina said, "I don't know."

The 16-year-old, who was on probation, is currently at a juvenile detention center facing multiple charges, including resisting arrest and possession of marijuana.

The Florida Highway Patrol says an administrative review of the incident is ongoing.

The kid ran into a back yard and the cop following thinking crime. Good for the cop.
The kid refused to follow orders and was tazed.
The kid is on probation and had illegal drugs.
The kid's mother admits he hates authority ( can't fault that one, but you do follow orders under such circumstances)
The kid's mother has no idea why he is there, but he is BIRACIAL (meaning black)
It goes on.......

People think they are special and do what ever!

This is libtards being libtard-like.

Since she is publicly discussing it’s probably as much posing to make the white crackers lose their minds with fear.

You know what princess, go ahead experience your rights. Just don’t come back in 2 weeks and start splaining your twisted rationale for why the gubmint should take away my God given rights.

She’s as dumber than a box of rocks. The blacks are being shot and beat by their own race. But we will be here when she and hers are ready. They’re creating a race war

Yep. They seem to think the rest of the world is like them (they are too dumb to understand how uniquely dumb and self-involved they are). Open books, for those who see it for what it is - they are accusing us of instigating the violent end-all battles they fantasize about. They confuse movies with reality.

Probable cause. Already on probation. AND doing the idiot thing again by possessing pot, and doing it as a minor which there is NO excuse for. This is Florida and the judge isn't going to give a crap that the kid is biracial. He is 16 and accountable. He's already destroyed his life as it could have been. Idiot. And the mother is an even bigger one. The kid's lawyer should tell her to keep her mouth closed.
