Exactly do the Pandemic Authoritarians need Amnesty from?

There are no Civil, Criminal, Legal, or Social penalties on the books against them.

They are already free and clear!
They don't want the unwritten social penalties like friends and family that they treated like crap now refusing act like it never happened. I am very fortunate in that we didn't have any of those types of issues with family and friends but I have nothing but contempt for those that joined the cult that tried very hard to cost me my job. I will not forgive and I will not forget and if I happen to pass by them while they are on fire I wouldn't waste my time pissing on them to put it out.

Perhaps they fear uncontrollable vigilante activity?
What do their algorithms tell them about the public's response to this trial balloon?

[“California Governor Newsom Admits A Red Wave is Coming"]

"I'm a little more hopeful, but then I was much more hopeful in 2020 and look what happened there. Maybe I'm just deluded.

He's probably just encouraging his people to cheat more. They aren't going to learn.

It's been pointed out for quite a while that our rulers are behaving like the abusive party in a relationship. Since unfortunately, I have no experience with abusive relationships - I blame women for that - I've been trying to think of how it works. Isn't there a point where the abuser promises to change and do better next time? Their behavior was for our own good because they care?

The best I can find on the internet is Four Stages: Tension-building, Incident of abuse, Reconciliation and Calm stages at which point is starts again. So right now this would clearly be Reconciliation.

They're trying to make up to us for the last two years of tyranny. Some are even admitting that imposing things that don't work against viruses was a bad idea. They don't actually say they were wrong, they don't offer to repay us for the time, energy and money they stole, they just want a mass amnesty.

F**k. That.

I'm at the point where I think there's only two kinds of amnesty, 5.56 and 9mm. In a clinch there can be a rope which is helpfully reusable for more amnesty.

Maybe that's a little too far. Maybe not, but just as back-up plan, since they appreciate vaccines, we can inject them in the forehead with a healthy pigment to make a nice big letter "X."

No matter what happens, I think next week's elections are the end of the road. Even if Republicans massively win, the rulers have already prepared and will just move on to the next step of destroying everything. And I expect them to steal many elections, if not all. There's also the leftists who self-identify as "Republicans" to deal with.

Beyond that, there's the collapse of supply, logistics, fuel and the economy awaiting us this winter. Then there's the actual wars going on around the world. For all I know, none of us will be around by New Years."

----------------------------------------------

"We're headed for disaster. The Mississippi River is low, meaning barges won't be able to transport supplies. The trains are about to go on strike. The trucks are very short on fuel and it's going to get more expensive any day now. That'll be a good way to start winter."

Talk is cheap
With all of the deliberate intent of malice and crimes against humanity, including demonization of simple, safe, and effective treatments, this set up was a brazen in-yer-face gaslighting fleece job! Justice will come to those holding the shears behind their backs, their wicked smiles on display for all the world to see.

It ticks me off to no end.

Forget, HELL!
Posted on November 1, 2022 by Mike 23 Comments

Stupid, smarmy bint expects forgiveness absent any hint of contrition, repentance, and reform. Which is assuredly NOT the way it works.

This is the ultimate slap in the face by “nice Christians” who believe Jesus wouldn’t want us to keep the Nazis waiting at the train station.

Those of us who were right from the beginning about this “pandemic” and were called unloving Grandma killers by these willfully ignorant, tyrant enabling Sheeple, aren’t “gloating.”

We didn’t make “lucky” guesses.

We read the data.

We knew the entire history of virology and true “Science” was being discarded.

We saw the double standards and illogic of unbiblical “lockdown” measures.

We were shocked and dismayed by how “nice Christians” enabled such Tyranny.

And we witnessed the true nature of EVIL at work in every “recommendation” and “mandate.”

And you had the exact same data and opportunity.

You didn’t “make a mistake” and “did the best you could” because you “had no way of knowing.”

You CHOSE your path and its consequences.

Now that we’ve been proven right beyond all shadow of an “Expert” doubt, we are NOT going to “move forward” with those who demand forgiveness without showing a shred of repentance.

We are filled with Righteous Indignation.

You need to seek forgiveness, in sackcloth and ashes, from the God you have offended for the Evil you have enabled. For the elderly who were left to die alone. For the children who had their childhoods stolen. For your neighbors who had their lives and livelihoods destroyed so you could feel safe. For your fellow citizens who will NEVER be able to return to “normal” after what you’ve done. God’s Justice DEMANDS there be trials AND punishments. To demand “forgiveness” without accountability is NOT WWJD.

We cannot and WILL NOT “work with you.” To order us to AGAIN comply by granting you “amnesty” and an ease of conscience that is not ours to give, shows that you will only repeat your prior actions when TPTB unleash the next “crisis.” You called us “Grandma killers” then and “unloving and unforgiving” now. And all of history shows you will happily comply with Evil when this happens again.

Absolutely, positively correct, right down the line. To grant those I labelled way back when “CoVid panic-ninnies” an absolution they haven’t earned is to guarantee they’ll do this again, as many times as we agree to forgive and forget. As I constantly argued, again and again and again, back in 2020: you NEVER willingly surrender your freedom to snakes-in-the-grass like Prof Oster, because once you have, the only way you’ll ever get it back again, assuming you ever do, is at the point of the sword—or, more precisely, at the muzzle of the AR15. Which, fancy that, is just ANOTHER thing “people” like her want to take away from us.

Gee, wonder why that might be.

As an old bumper sticker popular many years ago amongst us unreconstructed Southrons had it: Forget, HELL!

Believe it
Forget THIS, mother****ers
Update! Billy Beck says it far better than I ever could.

This woman must think that she’s talking to a 1957 Cub Scout den that got in a fight when someone mis-counted the marbles, or something a lot like that. A person in that situation could afford the authority of using that royal “we” without having to explain it to the children. It becomes a mystery with nearly sinister undertones when this person is talking about the scope and scale of militant destruction put upon America in the past three years.

Let’s note how Dr. Oster confesses that the ones who were in the dark are the ones who said and did what they did. They commanded people’s lives into virtual cages with orders against doing the business to sustain them. They ordered administration of ostensible medicines (“vaccines”) to as many people as they possibly could, under the plain extortion of threatening all other aspects of life — jobs, educations, transport services, medical services, for instance — as penalty for refusal. Honest medical analyses of these drugs are now revealing effects catastrophic to and horribly conclusive of human lives around the world. They smashed the souls and intellects of an entire generation of children, including all imaginable and unimaginable implications ranging from toddlers to adolescents and beyond, with scientifically laughable nonsense applied to schools: the very sorts of schools that once taught me enough to know how plainly psychotic the whole thing was

Dr. Oster: “But the thing is: We didn’t know.”

That is, indeed, “the thing”. It’s the very thing that the commissars and research-fetishist should have been thinking, before they might have had to say it out-loud, after they’d done what they did, but if only they hadn’t done it.

It’s the thing that countless Americans were shouting as hard as they could into the gas-blast from “experts” and “authorities” who never stopped telling them how stupid and evil they were. They were viciously betrayed by the insidious promise of “public square” opportunity for “voice” in social media and then “cancelled” (a word of marvelous facility, now) for dissent, with monstrous digital precision, by faceless corporations selling “community”.

And now, these people — this heathen caste — are professorially instructed that “dwelling on the mistakes of history can lead to a repetitive doom loop”.

There’s a phrase fit to Balkanize, for you.

By an unexpected tum of our history, a bit of the truth, an insignificant part of the whole, was allowed out in the open. But those same hands which once screwed tight our handcuffs now hold out their palms in reconciliation: “No, don’t! Don’t dig up the past! Dwell on the past and you’ll lose an eye.”

But the proverb goes on to say: “Forget the past and you’ll lose both eyes.”

(Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn — “The Gulag Archipelago”, vol. I, “Preface”, p. X)

At the lowest, most basic, level of principle, this caste of dissent is called upon to dismiss and dispose of the experienced reality which is the the material of morality itself. The harm that they’ve suffered, and the outrage of having it at the hands of obvious incompetents and malevolents, has shown them more than enough about how not to live as human beings instead of despised subjects. Wholesale demolition of society is what they’ve seen and lived on every quarter, and that’s what they’re being told to forgive and forget, on the now plainly hollowed pretext of “the good of society”. This goes beyond contradiction and hypocrisy to psychological assault, with the added insult that it comes from a self-preened “unapologetically data-driven” economist. Nobody who has had to hear — remotely — of a dear loved one’s death because their presence was forbidden by “data-driven authority” should have to think about something like this for one stolen heartbeat before dismissing it with contempt or hatred or whatever the current research says about the completely sensible and righteous human response.

People who are morals-driven, even at their most charitable, are simply not now disposed to stand for this.

How well or whether the Dr. Osters of America might conceive an understanding of that fact, and why it exists as a fact, would tell a lot about whether the almost maniacal demand for “unity” is as flatly cynical as it seems. There can be nothing like that between people who think that the agonies of the past three years are to be understood and condemned, and people who cannot and will not see that demand as a matter of moral principles: applied studies in how to live, versus how let it all go to massive deathly mayhem.

I must say, I do enjoy the bleating from the Osters of the world, all wailing so very piteously that we didn’t know, we didn’t know, how could we have KNOOOOWWWNNNN…

Well, speak for yourdamnedself, bitch; I KNEW, and I don’t think anybody out there considers me any kind of “expert” on anything at all. Go **** yourself and your proposed “amnesty” right in the liver, with a rusty railroad spike, until it stops hurting so much.

Updated update! I second Francis’s reminder, wholeheartedly and with big clanging bells on.

But let’s not omit this, for without it the formula would be fatally unbalanced: We mustn’t forgive ourselves either. We gave in when we should have resisted with all our might. We accepted dictatorial impositions and abridgements of our God-given rights when we should have mustered our rage and employed the corpses of our would-be tyrants to decorate lampposts from coast to coast. We acted like pusillanimous cretins rather than the heirs of Patrick Henry, who’s undoubtedly spinning in his grave fast enough to power all of Virginia over this embarrassment.

The survivors of the Holocaust made a mantra out of the saying “Never again.” The great majority of us wouldn’t even speak our minds for fear of ostracism, demonization, and unemployment. And over what? A disease that’s proved less dangerous than ordinary influenza! A disease that has hardly any effect on the populations most oppressed and disadvantaged by the lockdowns – our minor children!

No. Do not forgive. To forgive would be to accept that our oppressors’ hypothetical “good intentions” should exonerate them for their totalitarian conduct. To forgive would be to “understand” cowardice instead of reproving it as it deserves.

To forgive would be to forget. The two are never separated by much.

Amen, brother. The panic-ninnies and ostracizers can burn for all me. This I vow: NEVER to forget. NEVER to forgive. Ms Oster can go look for her scapegrace absolution someplace else, she’ll find none here.

A Lost Small Town

Running Errands in the Wake of Emotional Violence, USA

Dr Naomi Wolf Oct 26

"I live in a picture-perfect region — the Hudson Valley, memorialized by painters and poets; a patchwork of autumn reds and yellows, majestic hillsides, storied waterfalls, and little homesteads dotted picturesquely on the slopes of sleepy hamlets.

Towns in our area look like Norman Rockwell paintings: there is Main Street, Millerton, with its white 19th century church steeple, its famous Irving Farm cafe with the excellent curated coffee beans, its charming antiques mall, its popular pizzeria.

When you drive to Millerton, it looks like you are driving into the heart of archetypal America; everything that Woody Guthrie songs memorialize, everything of which American soldiers dreamt when they were far away — everything decent and pure, is to be found in Hudson Valley towns.

It sure looks that way, anyway.

But these days, I am obliged to maintain a fervent inner monologue, just so I can pleasantly go about my business in the local hardware store, in the local florist, in the post office.

Because an emotional massacre has taken place in these little towns. And now we are expected to act as if — this never happened at all.

But psychically, emotionally, there is blood flowing in the streets; and bodies are stacked up, invisible, in front of the candy stores, the high end wine stores, the pretty memorials to the World War Two dead; outside the farmers’ market on Saturdays, outside the tapas bars.

So my quiet internal mantra, is: I forgive you.

I forgive you, Millerton movie theatre. Your owner, who was interviewed just before the pandemic, saying lovely things in a local paper about how the revamped theatre would enhance the local community, posted a sign in 2021 saying that only vaccinated people could enter. You needed to really look for the fine print to see that you could walk through those doors, if unvaccinated, but only with a PCR test.

I forgive the young ladies who worked behind the popcorn counter, for telling me that I could not enter further. That I could not sit down, with other human beings in my community, to watch a film alongside of them.

I forgive the young ticket taker for telling me that I had to go back outside, onto the sidewalk. I could not even stand in the lobby.

I forgive these young people who just wanted jobs, and who had to discriminate in the most heinous and scarring way — scarring to me, and to them too no doubt — just to keep their jobs. I forgive them. I forgive them for the mortifying scene they had to cause.

I forgive the movie theatre owner for shouting at me defensively when I questioned this policy.

I forgive the elderly couple nearby in the lobby; the woman who started shrieking at me alarmingly that she was glad of the policy and did not want me anywhere near her. I forgive her. I forgive her silent, embarrassed husband for his silence.

I forgive the employee of the Millerton flower shop who demanded, “Are you vaccinated?” when I walked in - when I just wanted some nice-looking flowers, some artificial olive branches, perhaps, like those I had seen in a decorating magazine, to arrange in a vase in my study.

I forgive this employee for having to follow a script that must have been set out by the town, for all the small businesses to follow, in some bizarre, coercive methodology, as this out-of-the-blue, un-American and inappropriate question was posed all at once somehow, in store after store, in my little town, in the nearby towns, even in New York City, during a certain moment in the bad year of 2021.

I forgive these store owners for stripping me of a great benefit of a free society — the great gift of liberty, of America — that right to be dreamy, to have some privacy, and to be preoccupied with one’s own thoughts.

I forgive this employee for intruding on my privacy in a way that was startling, ill-mannered, and entirely beside the point, given the fact that she was simply selling flowers and I was simply trying to buy them.

I forgive her for the way this demand made my adrenaline levels jump, as they do when things are unstable around you; in 2021, you could not tell which stores would confront you, or when, with that urgent, bullying question — when you happened to wander in, just wanting some toothpaste, or a slice of pizza, or to look at some antiques.

Not — expecting an inquisition.

I forgive this flower shop employee for presenting me with this startling question that each time made me, with my clinically diagnosed PTSD from a very old trauma, feel ambushed, violated and humiliated. Surely this sense of ambush was felt by trauma survivors everywhere.

Are you vaccinated?

Are you? Vaccinated?

Are you vaccinated?

Are you naked? Are you helpless?

Are you mine? My possession?

The viral clip of the Pfizer marketing rep, admitting to the European Parliament that the mRNA vaccines never stopped transmission, should make every single one of these moments, into a source of deep embarrassment and self-criticism for all those people — all of them —- who inflicted these violations of privacy on others, or who excluded in any way, their neighbors and fellow countrymen and women. They did so, it is clear now to all, on the basis of arrant nonsense.

But meanwhile, I forgive them. I have to. Because otherwise the rage and sorrow would exhaust me to death.

I forgive my neighbor who froze when I hugged her.

I forgive my other neighbor, who told me that she was making homemade soup and fresh bread, and that I could join her to have some, if I was vaccinated. If I was unvaccinated, however, she explained, someday she might consent to walk outside with me.

I forgive the monitor — what else could one call him — surely appointed by the local Board of Health, who told me that I could not go inside a church at an adorable outdoor town festival at the tiny mountain hamlet of Mt Washington, to see an exhibit, because I was unmasked. I forgive him for the steely look in his eyes as he remained unmoved when I explained that had a serious neurological condition, and thus could not wear a mask. I forgive the nervous lady at the table full of trinkets, who had apparently ratted us out to the Board of Health representative, when we were simply browsing outdoors, surrounded by fresh air, on a peaceful June day, our faces uncovered, at her table.

I forgive them for making a miserable scene about all of this in front of my then-ten-year-old stepson. The unmasked and unvaccinated are eternally accused of having made scenes, but the scenes were made, really, by the actions of those who were coercing and conforming.

I forgive them for driving us to leave the festival. I forgive their manifesting a pathetic and indefensible lesson in servility, and in submission to things that made no sense, to an impressionable American child.

I forgive the teller at my local bank for throwing a paper napkin at me to cover my face, when I explained respectfully and gently, from twenty feet away from her, why I did not wear a mask.

I forgive the staff at the Walker Hotel, in lower Manhattan, for warning me that they would call the manager, who no doubt would then call law enforcement, if I sat at the Blue Bottle Coffee lunch counter with my unvaccinated self.

I forgive my loved ones for keeping us from the Thanksgiving table.

I forgive one of my best friends for her having left the country without having said goodbye to me; the reason was that she was “disappointed” in me for my stance on masks and vaccines. No matter that this was entirely my risk, my body, my decision, my life. Her “disappointment” led her to assume the burden of censuring me for something that had nothing to do with her. I forgive her, though my heart broke.

I forgive the friend whose daughter had a baby, and who would not let me indoors to see the child.

I forgive the friend who said he did not sit indoors with unvaccinated people.

I forgive the family members who pressed my loved one to get one more booster - thus leading directly to her sustaining heart damage.

I forgive them, because my soul instructs me that I must.

But I cannot forget.

Are we supposed to just pick up again, as if emotional limbs were not crushed, as if emotional hearts and guts were not pierced, as if with sharp objects? And that, again and again?

As if there has been no savagery, no massacre here?

All those people — now that athletes are dropping dead, now that their own loved ones are sickening and hospitalized, now that the “transmission” is known to be a lie and the vaccines’ “efficacy” itself is known to be a lie - are they — sorry? Are they reflecting upon themselves, on their actions, on their consciences; on their immortal souls; on what they have done to others; on their part in this shameful melodrama in American and world history - a time that now can never be erased?

I don’t hear it. I don’t hear any apologies.

I don’t see signs on the Millerton movie theatre saying, “Dear Customers. We are so sorry we treated many of you as if we were all living under Jim Crow laws. We did so for no reason at all.

There is no excuse, of course, for such discrimination, then or now. Please forgive us.”

Nothing. Have you seen anything like this? I haven’t. Not one conversation. Not one sign. Not one article. “My friend, I was a beast. How can you forgive me? I behaved so badly.” Have you heard that? No, nothing.

Instead people are reacting to the fact of their awfulness, of their profound wrongness, of their foolishness, of their ignorance and credulity, like sneaky, guilty dogs. They are sidling up.

In the city, they are quietly adding one to the guest list. In the country, they are stopping their cars in the sunny autumn air to have a little chat.

They are calling up just to say hi — after two and a half years.

Two and a half years of brutal, ignorant ostracism.

I can and must forgive all those I enumerated. But it is harder to forgive - others.

It is hard to forgive the high school in Chatham, that forced a teenager to be mRNA vaccinated against her wishes, in order to play basketball, and thus hope for a college scholarship.

It is hard to forgive the doctors, the hospitals, the pediatricians, who knew and knew and knew. And bowed their head, and plunged the needles into the arms of innocents, and committed evil. The doctors who today say, of the horrific side effects brought about by their own hands, their own collusion — “We are baffled. We have no idea.”

When did Western doctors, before 2020, ever have no idea?

It is hard to forgive the Mayor of New York City, who drove the brave First Responders who did not wish to submit to a dangerous experiment, to have no income with which to feed their families.

It is hard to forgive the Ivy League universities, who took the money and forced all the members of their communities to submit to a deadly or dangerous experimental injection — one that will damage the fertility of who knows how many young men and women; one that will kill who knows how many community members.

They took the money and there is blood on their hands. Have you, parents of college age children, received a letter of apology? “We are so sorry we forced your son/your daughter to submit to an experimental injection that can harm him or her, that may cripple your daughter with bleeding every single month of her childbearing years, and that may lead your son to drop dead on the track field. And one that, it turns out, has nothing to do with transmission. We can’t apologize enough. (But the money — it was just such a lot.) Really sorry. Won’t do it again, rest assured.”

Did you get that letter, America’s parents?

It is almost impossible to forgive the churches, the synagogues, who took the money and stayed closed. Or who took the money, and then locked their doors at High Holy Day Services against the unvaccinated. To this day. (Hi there, Hevreh Synagogue of the Southern Berkshires. Shalom. Shabbat Shalom. Good Yom Tov.)

“Please note that we require proof of vaccination upon entry for all High Holy Day Services. Please bring a copy with you. Masks are optional and encouraged for all who are comfortable wearing them.”

These are great, great sins.

But meanwhile, you have errands to run. You have books to return to the library and flowers to pick up from the florist perhaps - you have to go to the kids’ soccer game, you have to go to the movie theatre; the hardware store. Back to church. Back to synagogue.

You have to pick up your life again.

You have to step around the bodies decomposing invisibly in the charming streets of our nation. You have to pick up again as if we were not annihilated in spirit. Or, you have to pick up again if you were the abuser.

Will you apologize, if you did wrong?

Will you forgive, if you were wronged?

Can this nation, which fell so far short of its true identity and its founders’ intention, ever, ever heal?

Can we heal — we ourselves?"

Emily Oster’s Plea Bargain

By James Howard Kunstler
Kunstler.com
November 5, 2022

"Shuck-and-jive from America’s broken thinking class, the people who pretend to know better than everybody else.

By now, everybody and his uncle has seen Emily Oster’s plea for “pandemic amnesty” in The Atlantic magazine, a house organ of the people in America who know better than you do about… really… everything. Emily’s wazoo is so stuffed with gold-plated credentials (BA, PhD, Harvard; economics prof at Brown U) it’s a wonder that she could sit down long enough to peck out her lame argument that “we need to forgive one another for what we did and said when we were in the dark about COVID.”

Emily wasn’t “in the dark.” She had access to the same information as the Americans who recognized that everything the public health authorities, the medical establishment, and many elected officials shoveled out about Covid and its putative remedies and preventatives was untrue, with a patina of bad faith and malice — especially when it was used to persecute their political adversaries.

These dissenters turned out to be “right for the wrong reasons,” she declared, the main reason being that they were not aligned in good-think with the Woke-Jacobinism of her fellow “progressives” at Brown U, and academics all across the land, who were righteously busy destroying the intellectual life of the nation, making it impossible for the thinking class to think.

Let’s face it: every society actually needs a thinking class, a cohort able to frame important issues-of-the-moment that require argument in the public arena to align our collective thoughts and deeds with reality. America used to have a pretty good thinking class, with a pretty good free press and many other platforms for opinion — all animated by respect for the first amendment to the Constitution.

The thinking class destroyed that by vigorously promoting a new censorship regime in every American institution, shutting down free speech and, more crucially, the necessary debate for aligning our politics with reality. Hence, America’s thinking class became the torchbearers of unreality, in step with the Party of Chaos which held the levers of power. This included the powers of life and death in the matter of Covid-19.

These were the people who militated against effective early treatment protocols (to cynically preserve the drug companies’ emergency use authorization (EUA) and thus their liability shields); the people who enforced the deadly remdesivir-and-ventilator combo in hospital treatment; the people who rolled out the harmful and ineffective “vaccines”; who fired and vilified doctors who disagreed with all that; and who engineered a long list of abusive policies that destroyed businesses, livelihoods, households, reputations, and futures.

How did it happen that the thinking class destroyed thinking and betrayed itself? Because the status competition for moral righteousness in the sick milieu of the campus became more important to them than the truth. In places like Brown U, what you saw was an escalating contest for status brownie-points, which is what virtue-signaling is all about. And the highest virtue was going along with whatever experts and people-in-authority said — the pathetic virtue of submission. Anything that got in the way of going along — such as differences of opinion — had to be crushed, stamped out, and with a vicious edge to teach the dissenters a lesson: dissent will not be tolerated!

Some thinking class. The case of Emily Oster should be particularly and painfully disturbing, since she affects to specialize, as an economist, on “pregnancy and parenting” (her own website declares), while the Covid regime of public health officialdom she supported instigated a horrendous pediatric health crisis that is ongoing — it was only days ago that the CDC added the harmful mRNA “vaccines” to its childhood immunization schedule for the purpose of conferring permanent immunity for the drug companies after the EUA ends, a dastardly act. Where’s Ms. Oster’s plea to the CDC to cease and desist trying to vaccinate kids with mRNA products?

The CDC is still running TV commercials (during World Series ballgames!) touting its “booster” shots when only weeks ago a top Pfizer executive, Janine Small (“Regional President for Vaccines of International Developed Markets”), revealed in testimony to the European Union Parliament that her company never tested its “vaccine” for preventing transmission of SARS CoV-2. The CDC under Director Rochelle Walensky is still extra-super-busy concealing or fudging its statistical data to obfuscate the emerging picture that MRNA “vaccines” are responsible for the shocking rise of “all-causes deaths” in the most heavily-vaxxed nations. In short, the authorities are to this minute still running their whole malign operation.

Notably, Ms. Oster’s plea for amnesty and forgiveness, showcased in The Atlantic, omits any discussion of accountability for what amounts to serious crimes against the public. A whole lot of people deserve to be indicted for killing and injuring millions of people. At the heart of her plea is the excuse that “we didn’t know” official Covid policy was so misguided. That’s just not true, of course, and is simply evidence of the thinking class’s recently-acquired allergy to truth. The part she left out of her petition for pandemic amnesty is: we were only following orders."

How people, who have been the offender,
attempt to reconcile with the ones they offended,
by saying they were justified,
without the components of the apology:
Five Elements Of An Apology
  1. Expressing Regret. “I am sorry for……” Say what you're sorry for specifically. ...
  2. Accepting Responsibility. “I was wrong to ……..” Explain what offensive or hurtful action or speech you are accepting as your bad. ...
  3. Making Restitution. ...
  4. Genuinely Promising Change. ...
  5. Requesting Forgiveness.
There is a reason they want the victim to forgive the perpetrator.
Examine the elements of the apology above.
Did you notice number 3 - Restitution?

They must turn the apology upside down because there are people that . . . were damaged.
They now have preexisting conditions. They have disabilities. They can no longer work.
And someone has to pay for them. Someone has to pay restitution.

And that is not going to be them.
It is going to be YOU.

Not only are you required to forgive them,
YOU have to pay restitution in excess deaths, excess healthcare costs, excess disability costs.
You will have to pay.

I wasn't sure where to post this, but I think this thread is a good start and it may also need to be on the main thread. This is a long, slightly jargoning paper on the CDC and the FDA withholding the results of a promised study of COVID injection side effects that should have been published already. Unfortunately for both of them, Sweden and Denmark have been doing serious studies and ARE releasing the data which as expected is somewhat disturbing. The friend that sent this to me speculated that perhaps the CDC and the FDA are delaying because it might help the Republicans win and he expects a lot of people and corporations may be held to account. Oh and "jargon wise" a level there drug/treatment trial is usually supposed to be 10 years of controlled studies (which were not really done) and level "4" trials were until recently a medical student joke turned reality, which is when the medication/vaccine is released to the public and studies are supposed to continue.

A long read but not too technical and well worth it.

The FDA has been criticised for taking more than a year to follow up a potential increase in serious adverse events in elderly people receiving Pfizer’s covid-19 vaccine, Maryanne Demasi reports

In July 2021 the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) quietly disclosed findings of a potential increase in four types of serious adverse events in elderly people who had had Pfizer’s covid-19 vaccine: acute myocardial infarction, disseminated intravascular coagulation, immune thrombocytopenia, and pulmonary embolism.1 Little detail was provided, such as the magnitude of the increased potential risk, and no press release or other alert was sent to doctors or the public. The FDA promised it would “share further updates and information with the public as they become available.”

Eighteen days later, the FDA published a study planning document (or protocol) outlining a follow-up epidemiological study intended to investigate the matter more thoroughly.2 This recondite technical document disclosed the unadjusted relative risk ratio estimates originally found for the four serious adverse events, which ranged from 42% to 91% increased risk. (Neither absolute risk increases nor confidence intervals were provided.) More than a year later, however, the status and results of the follow-up study are unknown. The agency has not published a press release, or notified doctors, or published the findings by preprint or the scientific literature or updated the vaccine’s product label.

The BMJ has also learnt that the FDA has not publicly warned of similar signals detected in a separate observational cohort study it conducted of the third dose (first booster dose) in the elderly3; nor has the agency publicly acknowledged other published observational studies or clinical trial reanalyses reporting compatible results. Experts spoke to The BMJ about their concerns about the data and have called on the FDA to notify the public immediately.

“To keep this information from the scientific community and prevent us from analysing it ourselves, is irresponsible. It presumes that these organisations are perfect and cannot benefit from independent scrutiny,” says Joseph Fraiman, an emergency medicine physician in New Orleans, who recently carried out a reanalysis of serious adverse events in Pfizer’s and Moderna’s randomised trials.4

Unearthing safety data
The FDA’s July 2021 findings came from a “near real time surveillance” system called Rapid Cycle Analysis (RCA) that the agency has in place to monitor a list of 14 adverse events of special interest. The RCA study is not capable of establishing a causal relation but rather is intended to detect potential safety signals rapidly. The agency said the associations were not identified for the other two covid-19 vaccines authorised in the US made by Moderna and Janssen (Johnson & Johnson). The July 2021 follow-up study protocol states that there is a “manuscript in preparation” for the original RCA study, but to date nothing has been published for either study.2

“The fact that the FDA found these four safety signals means they should have followed up on the results and I don’t understand why we haven’t had more information since then. It has been over a year,” says Tracy Høeg, epidemiologist and physician currently conducting covid-19 vaccine research with the Florida Department of Health and California’s Marin County Department of Health and Human Services.

In 2022 details regarding the results of a separate (third) safety study were disclosed inside another study protocol for evaluating boosters. Buried within that protocol the FDA stated, “In a cohort study of the third dose safety in the Medicare population where historical controls were used, we detected a statistically significant risk for immune thrombocytopenia (incidence rate ratio 1.66, confidence interval 1.17 to 2.29) and acute myocardial infarction (IRR 1.15, CI 1.02 to 1.29) among people with prior covid-19 diagnosis as well as an increased risk of Bell’s palsy (IRR 1.11, CI 1.03 to 1.19) and pulmonary embolism (IRR 1.05, CI 1.0001 to 1.100) in general.”3

Again, the FDA has made no public statement regarding these results. “It’s disturbing that they have not released any of these data. If the FDA is stating publicly that they’re collecting it, then they should be publicly reporting it. They shouldn’t be burying the results in protocols as they’ve done. It’s sneaky,” said Fraiman.

“The protocols say that they’re looking into these data further, but I’d like to know the results now, it’s been long enough. They need to view this from a public health perspective, they need to consider a person’s right to informed consent. As physicians, we recommend medical therapies and we need to explain the full risks and benefits to the patient. This is not happening,” adds Fraiman.

Dick Bijl, physician epidemiologist in the Netherlands, says, “The FDA managed to determine the efficacy of the vaccines in a short period of time, but they have not analysed the pharmacovigilance data with the same speed. If they found signals in July 2021, they should have been analysed and published within months.”

As president of the International Society of Drug Bulletins, Bijl has campaigned for years to have drug safety data communicated to doctors in a timely manner. He credits his organisation for prompting the World Health Organization to begin publishing regular updates about drug safety signals. These are possible safety problems that circulated only in pharmacovigilance centres and have been incorporated in the WHO Pharmaceuticals Newsletter since 2012, so that all doctors can take note of them.

“The FDA should have informed doctors about any early safety signals from the vaccines,” says Bijl. “Most doctors are not trained to, nor are they focused on, recognising side effects, especially because vaccines are generally regarded as quite safe. It’s important that doctors are told what to look out for.”

Other studies
Other research groups, including Fraiman’s, have produced results that are compatible with the FDA’s surveillance data.4 An observational study from three Nordic countries—Denmark, Finland, and Norway—found statistically significant increases in thromboembolic and thrombocytopenic outcomes following both Pfizer and Moderna mRNA vaccines.5

“Nordic countries have very good, nationalised health systems so they have good medical records of these events,” said Høeg, who was not involved in the study. “What stood out to me with the mRNA vaccines was the risk ratios of intracranial haemorrhage for Pfizer and for Moderna. It was 2.2 for Moderna, and it’s statistically significant. I’ve heard that people have seen it clinically but a robust analysis like this is much more convincing than anecdote.”

Christine Stabell Benn, a vaccinologist and professor in global health at the University of Southern Denmark, highlights two studies that analysed the data from the phase 3 randomised controlled trials of covid-19 vaccines—one by Fraiman and colleagues4 and the other a preprint6 by her own research group. “The safety signal seems to be gathering around cardiovascular and cerebral vascular events, things to do with circulation and our larger organs, and these are the same signals that appear to be popping up in the FDA surveillance data as well,” says Stabell Benn.

According to Stabell Benn, the underlying problem with documenting adverse events is that the covid-19 vaccines “were not tested properly.” She says, “The phase 3 trials offered vaccines to the control groups just a few months after the randomisation, so it doesn’t allow for assessment of the long term adverse events—but it’s the best evidence we have so far, since no phase 4 trials were carried out. Now, we largely have to rely on poorer quality data and studies.”

Adding to the difficulty is the type of adverse events being documented. “Myocardial infarction and thrombosis are events that occur often in the elderly and so doctors are less likely to report them as potentially linked to the vaccine, unlike vaccine induced immune thrombotic thrombocytopenia which is so dramatic and rare and also affected younger age groups, so it was easier to pick up,” says Stabell Benn.

To disclose or not to disclose?
Tom Frieden, former US Centres for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) director, says it’s a challenge for public health agencies to balance the release of contentious information. “There’s a valid concern that reports of adverse events will be misinterpreted as causal when they’re not causal to the treatment or vaccine given, and another concern is if you don’t present the information, you may be seen as hiding something, which is also problematic. So, this is not an easy area,” says Frieden.

He believes that the FDA and CDC have done a good job at publicly communicating the safety signals of covid-19 vaccines, pointing to the decision to pause the Johnson & Johnson vaccine after six reported cases of cerebral venous sinus thrombosis.7 “That was exactly the right decision at the time, it was just kind of ‘stop, look, and listen,’ and then come to a conclusion. Frankly, it was a judgment call whether to reintroduce the Johnson & Johnson vaccine at all. I think they were shared promptly. They were shared openly. I don’t see a lot to criticise in how they were shared. The reality is that it’s a very difficult thing to do—to share information well, in a way that will lead to people making the right conclusions.”

Earlier this year, the CDC admitted to withholding deliberately critical data on boosters and hospital admissions. Kristen Nordlund, CDC spokesperson, told the New York Times that the agency had been slow to release data to the public on breakthrough infections “because they might be misinterpreted as the vaccines being ineffective.”8

In addition, CDC director Rochelle Walensky acknowledged that the agency had not conducted a disproportionality analysis that the agency had indicated it would conduct in 2021 to analyse spontaneous adverse event reports.9 When asked about his thoughts on Walensky’s admission, Frieden said, “I don’t know what the reality is. I can’t comment.”

Cody Meissner, a paediatrician and member of the FDA’s Vaccines and Related Biological Products Advisory Committee, said he did not think that the FDA was “deliberately” withholding data from the public but did agree that sharing data is key to establishing trust. “I fully concur that transparency is key, and everyone should know all the information that is available. One of the great tragedies of this pandemic is likely to be the loss of confidence in public health authorities. One of the great problems was the suppression of opposing voices to various recommendations and that’s going to cause extraordinary harm,” says Meissner. “Everyone is aware that there are going to be side effects from any vaccine and as time goes by, we’re going to find out more and more about those side effects. Whether it’s an association with myocarditis or association with a pulmonary embolus, it’s going to take time,” he adds.

The Pfizer and Moderna clinical trial reanalysis by Fraiman and colleagues indicated the mRNA vaccines were associated with an additional serious adverse event for every 800 people vaccinated,4 far more than the 1-2 for each million reported for vaccines in general.10 Fraiman says he and his colleagues asked the FDA to warn the public based on their reanalysis, and replicate their study, but this has not happened.

“It seems to me that doctors have a much higher tolerance for covid vaccine side effects because there’s been this sense that if you don’t take the vaccine, you die. Obviously, that is completely the wrong way to think about it,” says Stabell Benn.

“We don’t want to create a lot of unnecessary anxiety and we can’t say there is now proof that the vaccines cause these events because the data are of poor quality, but we can say there is a danger signal, and the medical profession needs to be alerted to this,” she adds.

The BMJ has learnt that the FDA’s medical record review and statistical analyses have recently been completed, and the overall study results are currently under internal review. “The findings to date from the fully adjusted epidemiologic study on the primary series vaccinations do not provide strong support for an association between the vaccine and any of the four outcomes described in the posting to the FDA website. Additional analyses, including evaluation of booster doses, are still being conducted. Release of the study findings is expected later this fall,” said the FDA.

These are the people who would gladly herd you into the train cars.
Forgiveness without repentance is a recipe for more abuse.
How did the Jews put it? Never again.

I am glad the covid fiasco unfolded when it did..... I am firmly convinced that a time far more troubling will be upon us very soon....

People were forced to reveal their true nature... not one of them had missed a single meal, not one of them had a gun to their head.. they exposed themselves as cowards, bullies, predators, etc.

As the true hard times arrive, remember what these people truly are... do not lift a finger for them.... do not trust them, treat them as the cut throat swine they are!

Funny thing, this request for amnesty and forgiveness... None of it repeals or retracts all the codes, regulations, and emergency powers even the smallest local governments gave themselves as a foundation to subvert, control, and restrict the citizenry. Have supplies we want, we can now legally take them. Can't move freely. Can't go to church. You must wear these clothes. You can't run your business. Forgive them, while they bask in the "legal" foundation they laid for authoritarian tyranny? Not this guy...

Quite actually I wish I could disagree - but I think that in the main the above is SPOT ON - With the following exception.

I do believe there will be a large volume of those “of the lower case” who will not meet with violence but be social outcasts for a very long time. It should be recognized that there ARE and WERE physicians and related providers who DID NOT AGREE with the madness but were powerless to STOP any of the STUPID which ensued.

Thats crazy you might say . . . BUT IS IT REALLY? Consider that these people were in a position not at all unlike those who were forced to get jabbed or lose their jobs. The only difference is that they found themselves on the opposite side of the fence but in the same exact position of NO CHOICE. There ARE those “of the lower case” who GLOATED in their new found role of authoritarian - I.e. the physician NP or any other type of provider that FIRED you or REFUSED TO SEE YOU AT ALL Absent you “towing the line”. For those there can be no forgiveness - but are these not different from the individual - perhaps in a group practice - who had NO CONTROLL over the sign on the entry door about masks - the one who DIDN’T force you to take the jab or be tossed from the practice? those people DO EXIST and they exist in numbers far greater than what the TEE VEE would have you believe. MOST providers here who are not under direct control of the hospital association they‘re employed by, the sign on the door reads MASKS OPTIONAL. Not so with practices owned by corporate medicine and managed by the bean counters.

there are LIGHT YEARS of difference between the two groups. Faucci JoshI, wallensky, Whittmer, Cuomo and others of that ilk are vastly different in mindset and deserve a much greater level of retribution. AS DO those in media

ETA: those in your family, those formerly your “friends” - they’ll be social outcasts - likely for a very long while. IMHO they DO NOT even begin to compare to those who kept you from seeing and sitting with a dying loved one or PROHIBITED a trial of another course of action - which SHOULD have been your ABSOLUTE AND UNCONTRAVERTABLE RIGHT to choose. For these there can be NO forgiveness

TPTB are sitting (uncomfortably) on objective revelations that CDC and FDA findings not favorable to the vaccination narratives. They sit to allow midterms to run their course, not wanting to reveal findings that are hostile to the libs, and certainly not wanting to validate conservative voices... pre- midterms. Politics now trumps public health. The post-election fallout should be nasty

Work is the curse of the thinking class.
