I'ma thinkin' that Trump wants them to go thru with this.

A. He enjoys the fight.

B. It's another opportunity to expose their crap.
AND, if nothing else, it DOES set a precedent for arresting FORMER and DECLARED CANDIDATE presidents which COULD be useful in the future, though such actions could progress our banana republic status even further and faster.

Found this on facebook, don't know how true this though.
Certain being CAN see the "inside" heart of a human.

Dogs, equine, even cats - although they won't admit it.

Indeed that is Engoron. (center) I don't imagine he has much insight. Not much to report on Ballotpedia either.

In a normal world such comments would be reason for removal from the case on the basis of "bias." But bias is allowed and encouraged in Biden World.

“These are huge towers. I’ve lived in the city my whole life. You can’t just do this because the zoning allows it. I just can’t believe this is the case.”
— State Supreme Court Judge Arthur Engoron

Um. The purpose of Zoning is to create a legal envelope that DOES allow it. And equalizes access. And remove a tendency for "selective adjudication" and political influence to decide development.

Another thing that pops with this though, and can affect the future, Trump is having to do this with no assistance from DOJ or other federal sources. So when it comes time for others, they will have to do the same.

It draws a line.

Breaking! Trump To Be Indicted For Removing Mattress Tag In 1997

NEW YORK, NY — District Attorney Alvin Bragg is reportedly set to indict Trump this coming Tuesday for the removal of a mattress tag back in 1997. According to sources, new evidence was Trump To Be Indicted For Removing Mattress Tag In 1997

So let me guess. If you're a registered Democrat and buy a "My Pillow" - it comes with a tag if removed causes the pillow to explode like a glitter bomb?

Hopium...

I haven't been following this super closely but I gather the New York DA was unable to get the Grand Jury to agree to indict?

IIRC - Most Grand Juries just roll over and give the DA whatever he/she wants. The DAs expect this from the GJ are are very challenged when the GJs fail to indict.

I remember DAs threatening to jail GJ members because they "didn't follow instructions".

I strongly suspect the Trump GJ was doing a jury nullification and the NY DA kept delaying until he could get an indictment.

Apparently the DA failed.

And in NY, no less.

Where I imagine it's pretty easy to find warm bodies who would be eager to indict Trump just for funsies...

When I first saw it posted earlier this morning, Jack had added a "SATIRE" tag.

There has been no decision by the GJ one way or the other. They do not meet on Fridays.

Jack's been playing with an AI engine to generate pics and videos of the Deep State admitting to what they're really doing for several weeks to gaslight the opposition. Very much like the MSM is full blown propaganda to "Get Trump" and Get MAGA" for the WH Regime. When you see his posts of the DS outright admitting to any truths you know it's full blown Satire.

It will be interesting to hear what the lips say NEXT WEEK.

I wager the lips will quietly fade into the background as the Washington Circus arrives in town and sets up their "Big Top."

"Hurry, hurry, hurry! See Trump in handcuffs."

It's hard to accuse Trump of payment when attorney for the man accused of payment ADMITS to payment - and this done without Trumps knowledge or agreement - or even a paper trail connection (cancelled check) connection to Trump.

I mean if Trump indeed was the source of that $130K, he did well to do the transaction in CASH - which has no record.

"Cash trail" about the only way I can see this sticking. Avenatti's word will not be believed - he's already been convicted of purgery. His lawyer (still active not disbarred) IS to be believed. And his letter/email from 2018 furthers the proof.

It must be hard for Bragg to see his life's work and purpose so easily dissolved. George $oros will make it all better I'm sure.

Cohen claimed (under oath, for all it means to that convicted liar) he obtained the funds in question through him taking out a personal Home Equity Line of Credit (HELOC). Cohen said he did so because he didn't want his (Cohen's) wife to find out, and he felt Melania's feelings would be hurt if she 'found out'. Nuisance settlements are not unusual for high profile people. WHY would Cohen's wife even care? Did Cohen and Stormy have a fling? That's the only situation where I think it would matter (quite a lot) to Cohen's wife. Just my musings and opinion.

Alvin is probably sending this stuff to himself to increase the pity party.

Package with suspicious powder delivered to Manhattan DA's office amid Trump probe: 'Alvin, I'll kill you'

Fox News correspondent Bryan Llenas has the latest on delayed grand jury proceedings for a second day in the Trump hush-money case on 'Your World.'
Emergency personnel have responded after a package with suspicious white powder was delivered to the mail room for the New York City building housing the Manhattan District Attorney's office, according to police.
A law enforcement source confirmed there was a note saying "Alvin – I’ll kill you" in the envelope. District Attorney Alvin Bragg is currently weighing whether to proceed with an indictment against former President Donald Trump for alleged hush money payments made to porn star Stormy Daniels in 2016.

The envelope delivered by the U.S. Postal Service Friday has been "deemed non-hazardous" at the scene, the mail room to the DA's office, officials told Fox News.
Police responded to the scene shortly after 12 p.m., and as yet, no one has been ordered to evacuate.

The grand jury involved in the Trump case has been meeting in the building where the suspicious package was reported, but it does not sit on Fridays.
The grand jury was scheduled to meet Wednesday to hear from at least one additional witness in the case, but proceedings were canceled.

Two familiar sources told Fox News Digital on Wednesday that the grand jury was canceled amid "major dissension" within the district attorney's office. One source claimed the district attorney is having trouble convincing the grand jury on potential charges due to the "weakness" of the case.
Trump has not been formally notified about whether Bragg actually plans to bring charges against him, according to sources familiar.

Last week, Trump posted on Truth Social that leaks from the district attorney's office indicated he would be arrested on Tuesday. He encouraged his supporters to protest the expected indictment and accused Bragg's office of conducting a political "witch hunt."

After the supposed arrest did not happen, Bragg wrote in a letter responding to several leading House Republicans’ requests for information on the Trump probe that the former president "created a false expectation" that his arrest was imminent.

In a private memo sent to employees, Bragg decried attempts by Trump and GOP lawmakers to "intimidate" their office.
"We do not tolerate attempts to intimidate our office or threaten the rule of law in New York," Bragg said in an email to employees over the weekend that was obtained by Politico and confirmed by Fox News Digital. "Our law enforcement partners will ensure that any specific or credible threats against the office will be fully investigated and that the proper safeguards are in place so all 1,600 of us have a secure work environment."
