Pop star Katy Perry donned a beer can bra and performed in front of a giant talking face mask, as well as inside a giant red toilet during her debut “Play” performance at Resorts World Las Vegas in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Perry’s opening night of “Play,” which also kicked off her temporary Las Vegas residency, featured a variety of costumes and bizarre imagery, such as a giant toilet brush, toilet paper, a tooth brush, toothpaste, and a plunger. The singer also wore a dress featuring a beer can bra that actually poured out a beverage.

At one point during her 90-minute concert, the singer emerged from a giant red toilet, and began to sing, “I know a place where the grass is really greener” — the opening lines to her 2010 hit, “California Gurls.” Later, a giant feces appeared from the toilet as well.

Katy Perry has shown off her unique fashion sense during the debut performance of her Las Vegas residency, where she performed in a beer can bra that dispensed beer.
On Wednesday, the pop star performed the first show of her residency at the Resorts World Theatre, where she appeared on stage in multiple extravagant outfits.

However, despite performing alongside a number of over-the-top stage props, including a giant surgical face mask and an oversized orange toilet, it was Perry’s silver dress that has garnered the most attention – as it also included a refreshment for the singer.

The dress, which was made up of hundreds of metal can tabs, featured multiple crumpled beer cans, while the bra consisted of two smashed aluminum cans.
The metal accessories weren’t just for show, however, as videos taken of the performance show the Dark Horse singer telling the audience that she could “really use a drink right now” before popping open one of the bra beer cans and pouring the liquid into a large beer mug.
After filling the oversize glass with beer, to loud cheering from the crowd, Perry then drank the beverage on stage.

On social media, the eccentric fashion moment, which took place while Perry engaged in a conversation with the talking face mask, entertained viewers.
“Not only is she talented and gorgeous but she’s also resourceful,” one person wrote on TikTok, while someone else said: “She’s so iconic.”

Another person joked that the outfit gave a “whole new meaning to pop top”.
Not everyone was a fan of the look, however, as one person shared their distaste for the outfit on Twitter, where they wrote: “Words can’t express how much I hate these photos of Katy Perry lactating beer into a cup.”

During the debut performance of her Play residency, Perry also took to the stage wearing a red latex bodysuit, complete with red fringe pants and a mushroom-shaped hat, a hot pink and white striped dress, which she paired with white go-go boots, and a black and white wrap dress, which she wore while performing alongside the oversized toilet bowl and rolls of toilet paper.

The singer’s extravagant choices were unveiled after she previously revealed during an appearance on Good Morning America that the set and props for the residency were designed to be “fun”.
“A lot of my shows have been figuratively larger than life, but I play a doll in this show, so everything is like, three times the size of me,” she said of the 16-show residency. “It’s Honey I Shrunk the Kids meets Pee-wee’s Playhouse, but we knew what our audience is. People are here to have fun, people are here to let loose.”

Yes, satan sure gets his moneys worth out of her. Her story is fascinating.

She was raised in a pentacostal household, and her first album was gospel..
After that satan bought her and it was off to the races. One of her early songs, back in 2008? was about two women kissing and both her and madona are credited with corrupting several generations of teenybobbers.

She married legolas of Lord of the rings, Orlando Bloom.
She is clearly demon possessed these days, although she looked, acted and sang fairly well a decade ago.
I wonder what the economics/ profit or loss on her show was. Toilets cost the pentagon $300 so I wonder what hers cost. :kaid:

i had never seen a "show" of her's before.

i had seen certain videos or performances on things like the grammy's and such. i have never been a fan and have never gotten the obsession about her.

so i watched that show that was posted in the article. not the whole thing, but i watched a little bit of most of each of the songs she did. it took about 15 mins to go through the whole thing.

i am confused as to how she is still anything at all.

her performance was extremely lackluster. half hearted would be a complement. she can't dance. her singing was very, very "meh". the way she talked during the "talking parts" was .........wow.

the concept was so stupid. so stupid. the sets, the costumes, the talking toilet, the talking and singing poop, the talking mask......all of it was just.......stupid. the entire thing was extremely cringey. and the mask thing was the lowest level propaganda.

all i thought was, "is this for real? this is dumb."


and all the "raving" done about her and that show was bizarre. i wondered if i had watched the same show that those people did.

i saw nothing in that at all that was even remotely entertaining.

it looked like she thought the same thing and was bored and did not want to be there.

I gave up on Snopes a long time ago, and they have no cred with me. They are biased and leftist, and are bought and paid for by the liars. That was long before Trump ran for office. There was hype then, too but not like now! Snopes might be correct in this case, though.

I recently saw an exhibit of paintings of cows, and one had the long tongue, the same markings as the make-up. and an ear tag with KISS on it, it was kinda funny.
