FASCISM Just an observation....

Normally while at work, I google the forum and it pops up at the top or near the top of the page. Today, while doing the same thing, it no longer even shows on the first 5 pages. I had to use an old link I had to find the place again.

Yes, I do bookmark the page at home, but at work, I don't.

I have another website that I like to check in on and it has been trending down on the page or has been showing on the next page for the last 2-3 weeks.

Strange.

Like I said, just an observation. :spns:

I'm sure that new conservative "soft-censoring" on the part of Google, FaceSpy, and Twatter have nothing to do with it. Nope. Not at all....

Just tried searching on "timebomb" in both Google and Duckduckgo. Never found it on Google, but it was the topmost entry in Duckduckgo.

So I'm certain that Google didn't "adjust" its algorithm to drop conservative sites way down the list.

On Friday it was on the top of the 1st page.

Now it's promoting some book that is over 15 years old.

Simple question. Why not just type timebomb2000.com instead of "searching"? Does your workplace have keystroke trackers, but not "click on link trackers" ?

Just searched on ixquick ("powered by google"), and it came up first, after an ad.

I did and it routed me to a book by amazon. Actually ran it several ways.

No on the trackers, but we are a tax office so we avoid anything personal on the computers. Like Timebomb2000. Not for any reason other than we have enough links for the IRS, GA, etc to want to prevent any additional links to keep the clutter down to a minimum.

Just sayin, if you are on TB2K at work, all of your links have potentially been exposed. Unless you are the boss, it would be good practice to forbid any personal links on business computers. Set up a separate computer for personal browsing by employees.

What's even more interesting... and horrifying... is that CFI's legal case comes up on the second page, even though there is NO mention of his connection with TB2k anywhere in any of the news articles! Fascism and censorship, indeed!

Did you check to see if there are any new developments there?

No it is more of a clutter issue. You would never believe how many we have for all the locations we go to for our clients. Some are just specific IRS pages for rentals, home sales, schedule c, etc.

It appears that sentencing is final... they both got the maximum...

She consequently sentenced Barbara Parker to a maximum aggregate of 24 years in prison and a minimum of a little more than 9 years – accepting the State’s recommendation.

Porter looked to Bradley Parker and said he is “as bad a man as this court has seen. I’m going to send you to prison for as long as the law allows.”

He was sentenced to a maximum aggregate sentence of life in prison with the possibility of parole and a minimum aggregate sentence of 25 years.

His sentence is to be served consecutively. If there is ever parole, he will have lifetime supervision.

Since they both pled guilty, it doesn't appear there will be any appeal. The date of the article I quoted above was January 2016
