As the vaccine narrative continues to crumble, and the damage of the shots continues to come out, the damage control narratives are coming online. Remember. Most Democrats wanted us (unvaxxed) to not be able to buy food, to not receive healthcare, to be fired from our jobs, be put in house arrest, to be fined for our "selfishness" of refusing the vax, to be fined or jailed for questioning "the narrative", to be tracked by the government anytime we left the house, to be sent to concentr "quarantine" camps, and have our children taken from us for being "unfit" parents for refusing the vax. And with many vaxxies cheering the return of mask mandates in many places, it is clear that given the opportunity, they would push for the same again.

COVID-19: Democratic Voters Support Harsh Measures Against Unvaccinated

Thursday, January 13, 2022
While many voters have become skeptical toward the federal government’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic, a majority of Democrats embrace restrictive policies, including punitive measures against those who haven’t gotten the COVID-19 vaccine.

A new Heartland Institute and Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that 48% of voters favor President Joe Biden’s plan to impose a COVID-19 vaccine mandate on the employees of large companies and government agencies. That includes 33% who Strongly Favor the mandate. Forty-eight percent (48%) are opposed to Biden’s vaccine mandate, including 40% who Strongly Oppose the mandate. (To see survey question wording, click here.)

Voters are similarly divided over the federal government’s top COVID-19 expert, Dr. Anthony Fauci. Forty-five percent (45%) view Fauci favorably, including 28% who have a Very Favorable impression of him. Forty-eight percent (48%) have an unfavorable impression of Fauci, including 34% who have a Very Unfavorable view of him.

The even split among voters is the result of deep partisan divisions. While 78% of Democratic voters support the Biden administration’s COVID-19 vaccine mandate plan, only 22% of Republicans and 41% of voters not affiliated with either major party support the vaccine mandate. And many Democrats would support even harsher measures, including fines for Americans who won’t get the COVID-19 vaccine and criminal punishment for vaccine critics.

“After two excruciatingly long years, likely voters are beginning to question the federal government’s handling of the pandemic,” said Chris Talgo, senior editor and research fellow at The Heartland Institute, which commissioned this poll. “First and foremost, likely voters are beginning to sour on Dr. Anthony Fauci, who seems to have lost credibility after countless flip-flops.”

Talgo continued: “Moreover, almost half of likely voters oppose President Biden’s vaccine mandates, which seem less about stopping the spread of COVID-19 and more about increasing the power of the federal government. When asked about several other potential strategies, such as fining those who refuse to get vaccinated, the consensus among likely voters is that the federal government should do less, not more.”

(Want a free daily e-mail update? If it’s in the news, it’s in our polls). Rasmussen Reports updates are also available on Twitter or Facebook.

The survey of 1,016 U.S. Likely Voters was conducted on January 5, 2022 by the Heartland Institute and Rasmussen Reports. The margin of sampling error is +/- 3 percentage points with a 95% level of confidence. Field work for all Rasmussen Reports surveys is conducted by Pulse Opinion Research, LLC. See methodology.

The survey found that 75% of likely Democratic voters – but only 21% of Republicans and 38% of unaffiliated voters – have a favorable opinion of Dr. Fauci. Among other findings of the survey:

– Fifty-eight percent (58%) of voters would oppose a proposal for federal or state governments to fine Americans who choose not to get a COVID-19 vaccine. However, 55% of Democratic voters would support such a proposal, compared to just 19% of Republicans and 25% of unaffiliated voters.

– Fifty-nine percent (59%) of Democratic voters would favor a government policy requiring that citizens remain confined to their homes at all times, except for emergencies, if they refuse to get a COVID-19 vaccine. Such a proposal is opposed by 61% of all likely voters, including 79% of Republicans and 71% of unaffiliated voters.

– Nearly half (48%) of Democratic voters think federal and state governments should be able to fine or imprison individuals who publicly question the efficacy of the existing COVID-19 vaccines on social media, television, radio, or in online or digital publications. Only 27% of all voters – including just 14% of Republicans and 18% of unaffiliated voters – favor criminal punishment of vaccine critics.

– Forty-five percent (45%) of Democrats would favor governments requiring citizens to temporarily live in designated facilities or locations if they refuse to get a COVID-19 vaccine. Such a policy would be opposed by a strong majority (71%) of all voters, with 78% of Republicans and 64% of unaffiliated voters saying they would Strongly Oppose putting the unvaccinated in “designated facilities.”

– While about two-thirds (66%) of likely voters would be against governments using digital devices to track unvaccinated people to ensure that they are quarantined or socially distancing from others, 47% of Democrats favor a government tracking program for those who won’t get the COVID-19 vaccine.

How far are Democrats willing to go in punishing the unvaccinated? Twenty-nine percent (29%) of Democratic voters would support temporarily removing parents’ custody of their children if parents refuse to take the COVID-19 vaccine. That’s much more than twice the level of support in the rest of the electorate – seven percent (7%) of Republicans and 11% of unaffiliated voters – for such a policy.

The survey also found that more black voters (63%) than whites (45%), Hispanics (55%) or other minorities (32%) support Biden’s vaccine mandate for government workers and employees of large companies.

President Biden’s strongest supporters are most likely to endorse the harshest punishments against those who won’t get the COVID-19 vaccine. Among voters who have a Very Favorable impression of Biden, 51% are in favor of government putting the unvaccinated in “designated facilities,” and 54% favor imposing fines or prison sentences on vaccine critics. By contrast, among voters who have a Very Unfavorable view of Biden, 95% are against “designated facilities” for the unvaccinated and 93% are against criminal punishment for vaccine critics.

As the Omicron variant of COVID-19 produces a spike in cases nationwide, about three-quarters of Americans are already vaccinated against the coronavirus, and two-thirds of those have gotten booster shots.
Most Americans are concerned about new variants of the COVID-19 virus, but Democrats are more concerned than others, and place more trust in vaccines to protect against the disease.

It is more of an outrage and a dreadful, horrendous situation. All of us have beloved family and friends who have taken the vaxx. Yes, they should have researched it more and/or listened to us. But there wasn't much research out way back then. It was more of a "things don't look right, line up right" feeling. Everyone has always been told that the government is "looking out for us" and "will do right by us." Until it doesn't anymore. And that "anymore" time hit awhile ago. But still...it's hard to get out of the habit of thinking the government is on our side instead of realizing that the government is out to get you.

Our friends and family members, and even some of us here, took the vaxx based on the promises and reputation of a "now" government that doesn't deserve the people's confidence anymore. Were they gullible? Probably. Were they too trusting? Definitely. Do they deserve to be punished with severe health problems for the rest of their lives because they trusted the government that they used to be able to trust to a certain degree? No, they don't deserve it. Even those who pushed and yelled at their family members to take the vaxx (like our daughter did to us) do NOT deserve to have heart issues and aggressive deadly cancers and out of control autoimmune disorders and the thousands of other health problems people are coming up with. They also do not deserve to have their lives shortened by unexpected deaths.

Those who DID do the lying and the nasty deeds to push the vaxx onto people...now those people do deserve to have these physical problems and deserve to die unexpectedly. But I'm betting these same people knew enough that they didn't take the vaxxes.

So, no, it's not a pity. It's a horrible situation for all of us. Those who are facing these problems and those who are watching our family/friends die and/or go through terrible health issues.

Exactly. All one needs to do is go back and see who exempted themselves from the vax mandate...

However, if any of those that "fell for it" pushed the above in the OP, then yes, I argue they do deserve it. Actions have consequences, even if they are terrible. And those that pushed the vax, even if they did "fall for it", wanted to murder me and my children. Period. And then wanted me punished for resisting said murder. The Gulag Archipelago by Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn come to mind in this instance.

The research was available and plentiful, albeit suppressed, and all it took was a little bit of independent research and critical thinking to see that A did not equal B.

You do mean the Senators, Congressmen, Presidents, lobbyists, CDC, FDA and others of the Federal and State governments, right.
These are the people who should be all named, doxed and punished.
Right.
Every single one of them.

I did not wish the Vax on anyone. Those who took it and tried to tell me to take it are folks I remind of that fact. Especially any who sent articles and memes and things saying the unvaxxed were the problem.

With current federal government games and Vax fallout I did not have to mail a single Christmas card this year. The people I like I see in person.

Given the Jab-related health consequences that so many appear to be experiencing, they are paying.

And even those that didn't get the jab, are paying too.

While I know they all want us dead and gone, the OP article is almost 2 years old

Exactly. Exactly!

Never forget. Don't let them massage the narrative, divert attention, distract nor even appeal to your 'better side' so we can just 'put it all behind us' or 'get along again'. They threatened to revive Concentration Camps, for chrissakes! (Regardless of whatever name they presented it under.)

Their Authoritarian instincts and Despotic nature were laid bare during the last 3+ years. Their plans for you, me, and everyone who didn't agree with them was right there, for all to see.

Take the shot, or else! Or else!

If they'll 'go there' over that damned bug, (a bug some amongst them were helping to develop!) they'll do it for anything else, too.

Don't ever let yourself, or others, forget.

I want so very badly to agree with you.... but I struggle

Here in New Mexico they gave out $100 gift cards and an entry into a $5,000,000 lottery for getting the vaxx.... it pulled in the entire free shit army.... I am seeing the neighborhood drug dealers and other assorted turds slow way down..... and far less of them running around..... there is a silver lining to this!

There is. Those that pushed things are going to be among the many waves of those that pass away. Was it not a Deagal report that predicted by 2025 we would have a 70% population reduction?

Yeah, I remember some people falling for it way faster than others who held out …

I remember some people putting a pic on their social media accounts of them scoring a free donut as a prize for their vaxx!

Also, I don’t remember, but did the prison/correction systems make inmates get the jab?

If so, I’m wondering when that will pay dividends?

Had a co-worker who said "my wife and I were hoping the unvaxxed would die, so it would fix the social security and medicare problems for us". He expected to be a survivor, and is totally self serving. Several people at work are of the same very selfish personalities, only doing what moves them up politically.

When someone tells you or shows you who they are, believe them.

And, remember.

L.A.B.

Goodness before greatness.
COVID fears highlighted the worst of what should have been self preservation, and instead, unwrapped itself as self deluded denial, through fear.

I’m referring to my workplace, specifically, due to our unique perspective in the supply chain, and with individuals passing through our ports within range of exposure to incubation, as well as our own bouts with CV-19

The denial, even as those in the ‘working loop’ understood where the vaX in late December 2020 had come from. 4-hubs in China before returning to Port of L.A. with X. Even that OSINT was misrepresented by an individual who months after vaXXing, became incapacitated with a fast cancer.

His anticipated return this last fall, has not occurred yet. Other co-workers, driven by fear inside the home, have found solace in the narrative, even while truth has been at arms length for 1,103 days and counting.

Here in Kali, the mandates are coming again. L.A. county masks in health care settings.

No quarter for the complicit. We fought hard and long to defeat this mess.

I have to admit. It is a master stroke. EVERYONE who pumped the poison is hereby covered. So convenient that this so-called new strain mimics the vax symptoms and causes of death. To prove a vax murder, you have to prove this new strain doesn't exist. To my knowledge nobody has even isolated and shown the original strain. How do you prove the new one doesn't exist if you can't prove the first one does?

Master stroke.

While many voters have become skeptical toward the federal government’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic, a majority of Democrats embrace restrictive policies, including punitive measures against those who haven’t gotten the COVID-19 vaccine.

That was the plan, except now we'll see if they can keep it together. When the vaxxed realize they either voluntarily or were coerced into committing suicide, and murdering their children and families, the propaganda tends to lose its flavor.

I'd take it one step further. What's going to happen when the vaxxed are dropping, tptb are blaming vax deaths on a new Covid strain, and those of us who didn't trust them in the first place are the only ones left standing? I don't think there is an advertising team anywhere that can overcome that to convince the unvaxxed to get the shot.

One has to wonder whether the Vax actually caused the virus to mutate to this new strain...
The Vax doesn't stop you from getting or spreading Covid. The spike proteins in the Vax mimic the virus, so what if the virus picked up parts of those sequences and are now replicating them?
I'm no doctor or biologist, so have no idea whether the above is possible, just musing.

Sadly most will never admit that they were wrong. They will go to their graves yelling the propaganda rather than admit that they were wrong. Especially if it involves admitting that they caused the sickness/death of their family members.

The vaxx killed the woman that was going to move here with me, my best friend in Canada got a very aggressive cancer after she was forced to get the vaxx and booster and died. Now another friend has breast cancer she was forced to get the vaxx because of her job. Fauci should be hung in public slowly.

I have my viewpoint cause I was lucky enough to drag my feet and not work someplace that did mandate the Vax. They threatened it and pushed it but never went full throttle on it. I can't speak for those offered money to take it. Is what it is.

My dad got sick and had to have Vax to see him in person but it got to where only 2 visitors allowed and no swapping day to day. I have plenty of hate for stuff like that.

Overall we are nearing 3rd world status in many things like health care and crime so I just go fay by day.
