Here is a link to an article from 2019, regarding him having a "dead man switch"

John McAfee Arrest Rumors Spark Concerns About Dead Man’s Switch

John McAfee’s campaign manager has said on Twitter that the presidential candidate and his wife might have been arrested or detained on his boat, sparking rumors about a possible “dead man’s switch” that John McAfee recently talked about online. McAfee has been living off a boat and says it’s because he’s wanted for not paying his taxes. Now his campaign manager is saying that McAfee and his wife might have been detained on that boat. This is a developing story.

John McAfee’s campaign manager, Rob Bendicto Pacifico Juan Maria Loggia-Ramirez, posted on McAfee’s Twitter account on July 23 to share that he hadn’t heard from McAfee and thought he was detained. He wrote: “This is @loggiaonfire again. I have good reason to suspect that John McAfee, @theemrsmcafee and other companions have been detained by authorities at their latest port of call. I will be operating this account providing updates as they become possible… I last spoke with John as his boat was being boarded. The situation was tense but controlled. Our conversation was cut short by authorities confiscating their phones. The bastards wouldn’t even give him a cigarette.”

Loggia-Ramirez said he last spoke to McAfee when his boat was being boarded and he hasn’t heard from him since. You can read his tweets below." <SNIP> rest at the link

31 terabytes is more than enough to take down the DS…thing is, if the dead man switch releases that damning info to the press…guaranteed it will get buried and NOT see the light of day.

I'm sure him and Epstein are luxouriating in a hidden Israeli location, laughing their asses off as the sound of fine cognac clinks in their toasts...

Evading taxes for three years???? That doesn't make any sense. Al Sharpton has been doing that for decades and he still walks the streets.

One thing is not like the other.

Bifurcated Just-Us system.

Some Peeps can, some peeps can't.

Trump was a threat to National Security because of a made-up dossier; Hildabeast wasn't for actually running an insecure server in her Bathroom... Because, well, Reasons.

So tell me, does anyone know? Did McAffee's Guards take a nap? Did the Security Cameras just happen to fail? Did the Server capturing the Security Video accidentally get bleachbit'd?

Asking for a friend.

I still have not seen anything about the actual cause of death, just that "everything points to apparent suicide".

So, how did he off himself?

John McAfee, an eccentric software creator, was found dead in his prison cell in Spain in an apparent suicide after Spanish courts reportedly agreed to extradite him to the United States.
McAfee was 75 years old.
The Department of Justice confirmed McAfee’s death.

One source is reporting that McAfee took his own life.
El Pais reported:

McAfee was arrested in October of 2020 at El Prat airport in Barcelona at the request of the US Justice Department.
McAfee was accused of evading millions of dollars in taxes from money made crypto trading.
This was one of John McAfee’s last tweets before he died:

McAfee previously warned he would get “suicided”

DEVELOPING…

Interestingly, that picture embedded in your post does not look like JM to me.

He was an exceptionally smart man. I believe he will deliver the goods.
He hated the Governments all over, equally.
I got the impression he hated not only the govt but the big tech asshats too....... if we dont learn anything on the epstein thing we will never know the results of this one.....it is (imho) much bigger...... McAfee didnt play ball.......got snuffed. The other guy (epstein) did play ball but was a loose end........

Not seeing the light of day is probably right, but after reading Edward Snowden's book I'm not so sure. Was his leak published as an attack on W, or were true journalists involved? In the time since W was President, my opinion of him has changed almost 180 degrees.

Just because she is not a US Citizen doesn't mean they won't go after his funds, I know this because I've had friends where one spouse was a British Citizen and the IRS still tried to take money from his account that he earned on his job. They were married you see and for the IRS that is enough of an excuse.

What they should have done, was a soon as it looked like hubby might be in trouble, he should have fully transferred some (not all but a good portion) of his assets to his wife (at least enough for her to live comfortably). If he had done this before he was charged by the IRS it probably would have worked.

Remember ENRON and the CEO "suicide" well it was right before actual charges were brought so his family got to keep their money.

As it is, she will be lucky to keep anything at all; and I really hate the fact that every article on this mentions her former profession. That has absolutely nothing (that we know of) to do with the death of her husband and it is just another way of trying to make him (and her) look creepy.

I've known a number of former "ladies of the evening" who left "the business" and became perfectly respectable wives and even mothers. It is not a career choice I would recommend to anyone as it is intensely soul-destroying for most people but it also often the last resort of the desperate.

Right now she is a widow and she doesn't need her past dragged up with every article in the newspaper (in my opinion) since it has no bearing on the current situation.

everything that i have seen about his wife does mention it, but i found that almost all of the articles i have seen about her have only ever stated it as fact of how they met, and then spoken well of her. it is fact, she knows it and owns it. she has never seemed to revel in it, but instead just behaved as it was but is no more.

the other thing i have never actually seen was any article ever insinuating that she was a gold digger. when they met, mcafee actually had nothing. she didn't know who he was. he actually had to borrow the money to pay her for the evening as he had just been dumped back in the usa from a guatemalan deportation. they seemed to really love each other.

her quiet is curious. i do hope she is ok.

I don't know, but this article at zerohedge:

John McAfee Found Dead In Prison Cell After US Extradition Approved | ZeroHedge

says he was 76 and would get 5 years for each count, if there was 3 counts then 15 years. Thought he would spend the rest of his life in prison, and also stated he didn't have anything so I take that to mean he was broke so couldn't pay the fine either.

And don't think people can't go through millions of dollars very fast, they can, ask actors, and football players. They can burn through that quickly.

So all of that makes the suicide viable for the viewing public.

McAfee didn't kill himself.

Good question, I found a short peice about him earlier than said he had $7billion +
The Wiki report indicated that McAfee was worth perhaps 100 million "at the peak" just before the 2007-2008 downturn. Afterwards he was worth a paltry 4 million.

He did have a "Epstein like" existence. In and out of hedge funds, crypto, and natural farming in Belize. He certainly had a sizable income, as evidenced by the IRS interest.

I suspect a lot of his disposable wealth "went up his nose."
