Podcast host Joe Rogan announced Wednesday that he recently contracted the coronavirus and lived to tell the tale.
In a video posted to Instagram, Rogan said that he tested positive for coronavirus after exhibiting coronavirus-like symptoms upon returning home from a comedy tour. After separating from his family, Rogan essentially carpet-bombed his body with a variety of treatments until he reportedly felt “fine” three days later.
So, I got back from the road Saturday night feeling very weary, I had a headache, and I felt just rundown. And just to be cautious, I separated from my family, slept in a different part of the house, and throughout the night I got fevers and sweats and I knew what was going on. So, I got up in the morning, got tested, and it turns out I got Covid.
So, we immediately threw the kitchen sink at it. All kinds of meds: monoclonal antibodies, Ivermectin, Z-Pack, Prednisone, everything. I also got a NAD drip and a vitamin drip. I did that three days in a row.
According to Rogan, he had only one “bad day” but now feels “pretty good.”

“Here we are on Wednesday and I feel great,” he concluded. “I really only had one bad day. Sunday sucked. But Monday was better. Tuesday felt better than Monday and today I feel good. I actually feel pretty f***ing good.”

The only bad news, per Rogan, is having to move his upcoming comedy show in Nashville, Tennessee, to October 24.

Though Rogan took the drug Ivermectin, its efficacy when treating coronavirus has been strongly disputed by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA):
  • FDA has not approved ivermectin for use in treating or preventing COVID-19 in humans. Ivermectin tablets are approved at very specific doses for some parasitic worms, and there are topical (on the skin) formulations for head lice and skin conditions like rosacea. Ivermectin is not an anti-viral (a drug for treating viruses).
  • Taking large doses of this drug is dangerous and can cause serious harm.
  • If you have a prescription for ivermectin for an FDA-approved use, get it from a legitimate source and take it exactly as prescribed.
  • Never use medications intended for animals on yourself. Ivermectin preparations for animals are very different from those approved for humans.
Monoclonal antibodies, however, have been strongly encouraged as a possible life-saving treatment for the coronavirus. Most recently, Dr. Anthony Fauci advised hospitals to employ it more frequently.

“We want people out there, including physicians as well as potential patients, to realize the advantage of this very effective way of treating early infection,” Dr. Fauci recently said. “Clinical trials have demonstrated that early treatment with anti-SARS-CoV-2 monoclonal antibodies can reduce the risk of COVID-19 hospitalization or death by 70 [percent] to 85 percent.”

“Bottom line is this is a very effective intervention for COVID-19,” he added. “It is underutilized and we recommend strongly that we utilize this to its fullest.”

IVM is cheap, Monoclonal treatments are not.

Don't know if that's pertinent, but some folks sure do. Doctors, even.

Daily prevention is a really good idea. Been doing it for over a year since having it right when it started. Been around Covid weekly. Have been called more than once I was around someone who had it. Nothing more than a day or two of very mild symptoms, multiple times. Pretty sure my God given lab has taken care of me with antibodies that are adapting to new variants.

I have a friend named Rick Wallings who went to the doctor for his annual physical and he tested positive for Covid. He had no symptoms of the Flu or common cold and he through nothing at it ... he just kept living his life like he had been doing and nothing changed. After all, there is no known other disease that you can have and have NO symptoms. Hell, even pregnancy has symptoms ;-)

... of course Rick is not famous and no one cares about his story and even if he was famous, it would not be reported as it would not fit the MSM narrative.

Ivermectin preparations for animals are very different from those approved for humans.
Lying bastards at the FDA using outlier examples as mainstream in order to spread FUD.

My two veterinarian friends plus a vet tech who works for Merck flatly say that there's no difference in the ivermectin itself, whether by the original manufacturer (Merck) or generic, as the patent is expired. The only thing you have to watch for - and this is what the FDA is using as a phony threat - is to get the plain version of IVM and not some product which has some extra goodies added to it for a specific species.

But I suppose one has to remember that the target audience for the FDA (and anyone in a govt agency) is an urban welfare queen who belongs to Nowski's favorite POS race of so-called humanity, and not someone who actually thinks for theyselves.

I don't think Joe Rogan really gives a rats pa-tute about the cost of treatment. He did what he had to do and is well. If the Monoclonal antibody Treatment costs a grand or two, so what? Hells bells, If I can find a place around here that has that kind of treatment and I wind up getting covid, I'm in. Insurance probably won't pay for it, but I will. Wish I had multi millions like Joe does, but I don't.

This is EXACTLY what Nightwolf said.

He spent hours a couple of months ago figuring out human dosages but it got a move to the giant COVID thread and I have no idea where it is, but it is in there somewhere.

Meanwhile, we used it after we had to travel and spend the night in Limerick which is a hot spot and we've used it a couple of times when I got symptoms (I have a least six conditions that could cause some of them) and we all tested negative (including our housemate) last week.

When I told Nightwolf last night about "Pfizer's new pill" he quipped "does it have Ivermectin in it?" followed by "I'll bet if you looked at the patent there would be molecules in it that look at lot like Ivermectin."

Have a really good, long time friend who is a large animal vet here in Montana…I once asked him about the differences, if any, between a straight human vs. animal meds as far as quality…he told me, generally…

“No. There is none!”

He went on to say, look, some of my clients have extremely expensive show and race horses and prized bulls for breeding, and they care more about those animals than they do their own lives!

“There’s no way they’ll put cheap, substandard meds in those animals!”

My friend who was a vet tech in the 1980s told us that the medications are the same, though often they got "B" versions which had slight issues like being produced in the wrong color (a real no-no for human pharmaceuticals) or came in a dented cardboard box or with partial labels.

Not all the "vet" grade stuff even had these problems, but anything that actually would affect the medication itself was not allowed, including stuff that was "out-of-date." Everything was the same as the human versions though sometimes in smaller amounts if produced specifically for the small animal market. In Ireland you often get a prescription from your vet, you take it to the human pharmacy to be filled and get a pill splitter to break up the pills in the cat-sized. Though our giant Wolf-Malamute cross weighs as much as a small adult (about 120 to 130 pounds) so he gets a full dose, the cats at 7 pounds get much smaller ones.

It states that he took Ivermectin, but then the article goes and bashes it and tries to discredit it!

What's up with that?
The same dishonesty we have seen since the beginning of the plandemic. That’s why it so difficult to have a decent analysis of data from around the world. The MSM/Social Media/Gov et al are pushing an agenda just like they did during the Russian Collusion Delusion. Remember all those lies for the last four years?

By Travis Caldwell, CNN
(CNN) -- More than 80% of Americans 16 and older have some level of immunity against the coronavirus, mostly through vaccination, a survey of blood donations indicates.
The survey, led by the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, also indicates that about twice as many people have been infected with the virus as have been officially counted. More than 39 million Americans have been diagnosed with coronavirus infection since the pandemic started in 2020.
The team, led by the CDC's Dr. Jefferson Jones, set out to determine how close the US might be to some kind of herd immunity -- although they do not claim to have any kind of handle on that yet.
They worked with 17 blood collection organizations working in all 50 states plus Washington, DC, and Puerto Rico to test blood covering 74% of the population. In the end, they tested about 1.4 million samples.
In July 2020, before any vaccine was available, 3.5% of samples carried antibodies to SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes Covid-19. That rose to 11.5% by December, they reported in the medical journal JAMA. By May, 83.3% of samples had antibodies to the virus, most of them from vaccination.
And while in July 2020, blood surveillance indicated the US was only counting one infection out of every three true infections, that fell to one in two a year later.
This was all pre-Delta, the researchers caution. Plus, they didn't measure the other part of the human response -- one involving cells known as T-cells -- and one that might induce broader immunity. But knowing who has antibodies can help inform public health efforts.
"Several large studies have shown that among individuals who are seropositive from prior SARS-CoV-2 infection, COVID-19 incidence is reduced by 80% to 95%, similar to vaccine efficacy estimates," they noted.
"The study will continue until at least December 2021, and results will be made available on the CDC's website," they wrote.

Covid-19 hospitalizations remain high, but there are signs of improvement, HHS data show

Covid-19 hospitalizations in the United States have been rising steadily since early July, but are starting to show signs of improvement, data from the US Department of Health and Human Services shows.
Total hospitalizations nearly tripled in July and doubled again in August, according to HHS data, and for the past eight Sundays, total hospitalizations were an average of 25% higher than the week before.
But over the past seven days, total hospitalizations in the US grew by only 2%. In fact, there were 134 fewer new admissions during the week of August 24 than there were during the previous week.
Together, Covid-19 hospitalizations in Florida and Texas account for nearly 30% of current hospitalizations across the country. Hospitalizations in Florida have declined 11% over the past week, and hospitalizations in Texas have steadied, contributing heavily to improvements in national trends.
But hospitalizations remain perilously high; there are currently 102,804 people hospitalized for Covid-19 in the United States, 72% of the way to the peak from mid-January, according to HHS data. Overall, hospitals across the country are nearly three-quarters full and ICUs are about 80% fully.
At least nine states have had record high hospitalizations in recent days, reaching peaks higher than any other point during the pandemic, including Georgia and Tennessee, where hospitalizations continue to rise. Most of these states have fully vaccinated a smaller share of their residents than the US overall. In Georgia and Tennessee, about 42% of the population is fully vaccinated, compared to about 53% of the US population overall, according to data from the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

More than 500,000 children tested positive for Covid-19 in 3 weeks

More than 500,000 children tested positive for Covid-19 in the US from August 5 to August 26, according to state data collected by the American Academy of Pediatrics. At least 203,962 of those cases were reported in the week of August 19 to August 26; In late June, one weekly reported number was just shy of 8,500.
With concerns building over safely allowing children to return to in-person learning at schools, health experts agree that mask mandates are an effective tool in stemming infections.
"The virus is raging in all these children who are unvaccinated, which is why in schools mask mandates are so important," CNN medical analyst Dr. Jonathan Reiner told Jake Tapper last week, pointing out that inoculation rates are also low among adolescents who are eligible. "They have no other protection. They're literally sitting ducks."
More states and school districts across the country are imposing mask and vaccine mandates, while others are working to limit Covid-19 exposure among the unvaccinated. New York Gov. Kathy Hochul announced on Tuesday plans to implement mandatory weekly Covid-19 testing for state school staff who are not vaccinated.
"We all need to remain vigilant to protect each other - and that means coming in to get your shot and booster shot, wearing masks in indoor spaces, and exercising basic safety measures that we are all familiar with by now," Hochul said.
For teens ages 12 and up attending classes, it remains imperative for them to receive vaccinations to help curb the spread of Covid-19, officials say. And vaccine mandates, while unpopular to some, may be a necessary step.
"I believe that mandating vaccines for children to appear in school is a good idea," Dr. Anthony Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, told CNN this week, noting that this would not be a radical idea to impose.
"This is not something new. We have mandates in many places in schools, particularly public schools, that if in fact you want a child to come in -- we've done this for decades and decades requiring (vaccines for) polio, measles, mumps, rubella, hepatitis," Fauci said. "So this would not be something new, requiring vaccinations for children to come to school."

Officials expect additional vaccine data soon

Cognizant of the anxiousness felt by some parents and guardians sending their children back to school unvaccinated, health officials say they are working expediently to review whether the age of vaccine eligibility can be lowered.
If authorized, the CDC would move quickly to recommend the use of Covid-19 vaccines in younger children, agency director Dr. Rochelle Walensky said.
"Everybody is looking at this with urgency. Everyone recognizes how important it is for those children to have access to vaccines," Walensky said during a National Parent Teacher Association town hall Wednesday.
The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) must approve or authorize the vaccines in younger children first, Walensky noted. And the vaccine makers must make the case to the FDA with clinical trial data.
"My understanding of the timeline is pretty consistent with what is being said -- the middle of fall is my understanding, early fall is when we will anticipate seeing the data -- and then it will lie with the hands of the FDA. And I'm hopeful for the end of the year," she said.
Pfizer/BioNTech's vaccine has been fully approved by the FDA for Americans 16 and older, and emergency use authorization has been granted for those 12 and up. The Moderna and Johnson & Johnson vaccines are under emergency use authorization only for adults 18 and older.
Moderna announced last week that it had completed its submission to the FDA for full approval, and has also filed with the FDA for an emergency use authorization for its vaccine in people age 12 and older.
Clinical trials of vaccines for children under the age of 12 are ongoing.
Fauci said Wednesday that the FDA should have the data to consider authorizing a Covid-19 vaccine for children under 12 by the end of September.
"We should have enough of the data to examine and make a decision as we get into late September, the beginning of October," Fauci said. "Then the data will be presented to the FDA, and the FDA will make a determination whether they will grant that under an emergency use authorization or some other mechanism."
When asked whether a Covid-19 vaccine will be authorized for young children before Thanksgiving, Fauci said he hopes so, but does not want to get ahead of the FDA.
Correction: An earlier version of this story overstated the percentage of Americans who have some immunity to coronavirus. More than 80% of Americans 16 and older have some immunity.

The federal government is currently distributing monoclonal antibodies treatments at no cost for patients. However, depending on where you receive treatment, there may be some associated costs for administering the treatment. If you have insurance, these costs may be covered. If you do not have insurance, ask the treatment facility if there will be costs associated with receiving the treatment. More information on insurance coverage of antibody treatments can be found at CMS: Coverage of Monoclonal Antibody Products to Treat COVID-19

I know that is going on here. It is making our patient load at the hospital look high. Like 19 tested positive 19 admitted. It's a large county with a small population so everything is "relative". LOL. Hard to hide what is going on.

Governor Evers is now offering a $100 debit card for any that take the "vaccine." NO THANKS...not even a million dollars would do it!

Received an email with the offer. I wrote back with proof of how Ivermectin is effective in India, Malaysia, and Japan, and sent other proof. Dr. Kory is from Wisconsin, so that should also carry some weight!

Just for the record, I'm 99.5% certain that I had COVID back in March 2020. I did NOT bombard my body with anything, and I also felt "fine" after three days. I'm glad that he recovered quickly, but his story proves nothing at all.

Remember. Age has everything to do with it .The younger the better off you are and so does blood type. Type O are immune or experience extremely mild cases.

Joe Rogan says he tested negative for COVID-19, days after announcing positive diagnosis

(NEXSTAR) – Comedian and podcast host Joe Rogan said he tested negative for COVID-19 after announcing only days before that he had contracted the virus.

“Tested negative today!” he wrote on Instagram, alongside a photo of what appeared to be his negative results. “Thanks for all the kind wishes!”

Rogan, also a UFC commentator, had made headlines earlier this week when he revealed he began experiencing possible symptoms of COVID-19 after returning “from the road” several days before. He said he eventually learned he contracted the virus, at which point he began taking “all kinds of meds” — including ivermectin, a livestock de-wormer that the FDA has found to be ineffective against COVID-19 and dangerous when used for that purpose in humans.

Rogan added that he had also been treated with monoclonal antibodies, antibiotics, prednisone, and both an NAD intravenous drip and a “vitamin drip.”
He did not reveal whether he had previously been vaccinated against COVID-19.
Instagram also included a caption in his initial post, warning users of the dangers associated with “unapproved COVID-19 treatments.”

How does monoclonal antibody treatment work? Doctor explains

Rogan, meanwhile, had previously said on his podcast that he’s not against the vaccine, but didn’t think “young, healthy” people needed them. He later called himself a “moron” when discussing that statement, Variety reported, and claimed he was “not a respected source of information.”

Both the FDA and the CDC, meanwhile, have urged those eligible for vaccination to get the shots. In August, the FDA gave the Pfizer coronavirus vaccine full approval, which means it now carries the agency’s strongest endorsement for health and safety.
