Has No Life - Lives on TB
Last weeks monster thread is a tough act to follow.

This week is Songs that Inspire Us.

Songs that have special meaning to us.
Songs that always remind us of an especially happy or carefree time in our lives.
Songs that helped us get through a rough patch in our lives.
Songs that strengthen our faith.
Songs that stiffen our resolve.
Songs that fill us with patriotism.
Songs that fill us with joy.
Songs that fill us with hope.
Or songs that simply never fail to bring a smile to our face.
Share the special meaning or not as you see fit.

Oh this is a good topic!! I have a whole soundtrack for this!! ;)

This song here, “My body” is what I’d listen to towards the end of my cardio workouts on elliptical or when i was running. i used to do an hour on the elliptical at level 13 or 14 resistence just to keep my heart rate up!! Those were the days!

“My body tells me no, but I won’t quit..,”

You Raise Me Up

When I am down and, oh my soul, so weary
When troubles come and my heart burdened be
Then, I am still and wait here in the silence
Until You come and sit awhile with me.
You raise me up, so I can stand on mountains
You raise me up, to walk on stormy seas
I am strong, when I am on your shoulders
You raise me up to more than I can be
You raise me up, so I can stand on mountains
You raise me up, to walk on stormy seas
I am strong, when I am on your shoulders
You raise me up to more than I can be.
You raise me up, so I can stand on mountains
You raise me up, to walk on stormy seas
I am strong, when I am on your shoulders
You raise me up to more than I can be.
You raise me up, so I can stand on mountains
You raise me up, to walk on stormy seas
I am strong, when I am on your shoulders
You raise me up to more than I can be.
You raise me up to more than I can be.

After a lifetime of debauchery and poor lifestyle choices, I entered a three month pulmonary rehabilitation program which was essentially mandated by my doctors and insurance.

Being a person who never had made a conscious effort at any form of routine exercise, this was quite a mental and physical challenge for me.

I created a KMFDM playlist on my smartphone that managed to get me through a whole bunch of tough spots.

Some hardcore, tough driving "heavy beat" industrial tunes to get one through the exertion,

KMFDM - "Anarchy"
