So much has changed in last year that Syria has become more so an open field for Israeli targeting. Despite Russia’s influence, Arab normalization, Iran threats, no deterrence has been effective

The explosion in Damascus earlier today killed Razi Mousavi, reportedly a senior IRGC official, seen here with Qassem Solimani.

It’s no longer the “campaign between the wars.” But Israeli gray zone warfare promises to figure prominently in the battle ahead.

Give the Israelis credit for clean work. No targeting Iranian commercial shipping, no big demonstrations or flag burning, no bombast.

Iranian sources are reporting that a new Israeli airstrike targeting the Syrian capital Damascus has killed a senior Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) commander, Sayyed Reza Mousavi, responsible for organizing the "axis of resistance" in Syria.

According to the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ), the IRGC's Mousavi "played a fundamental and pivotal role in supporting the resistance forces in the region and supporting the Palestinian people and their resistance... we knew him as a loyal friend of Palestine and Jerusalem."

I'm all about the doom
Drop a 750kt nuke on Tehran. Air burst at 5000 feet.
Good idea but we currently don't have a 750 kt nuke warhead. Biggest we got is a W-88 455 kt on a sub launched missile or a 400 kt B-61 gravity bomb. Guess they'll have to do.

This is assuming that the B-83 gravity bomb is retired (1.2 MT). There's debate in Congress about keeping it in the inventory. If it's still on the table then you something bigger to drop on Tehran.

The list of potential urban renewal projects here at home is rather long and would greatly improve the quality of most Americans lives far greater than anywhere in the middle east.

you need a 2023 pic of Detroit - Gary, Flint, Ann Arbor and few other shrinking cities as well >>> "re-cycling" the dead residential and former industrial areas have been the biggest ongoing biz of the last decade - HUGE areas within the city limits now look like Hiroshima after the bomb ....

I don't know what happened to the project - but an agro corp was going to start farming those open areas of Detroit ....

Neither here nor there.
You keep repeating this? Various targets … but the same response. Nukes aren’t always the solution.
You can guess how old a member is by their responses to certain things. Myself I’d go with a major cyber attack on their infrastructure from different approaches, and then if needed unarmed drones… that is what the Chinese have planned for the US!

Are you sure about that?

One was destroyed and rebuilt by the US another was built and destroyed by the US.

We are capable of so much…

I am willing to bet if humanity could rid itself of psychopathic/sociopathic 'leaders' the world would be a much nicer place. Let the decapitation strikes on violent terrorists continue.
