Think living in the border reaches during and shortly after the Fall of Rome.
Perhaps in the run up to the Great Depression, adjusted for inflation. Tokyo has had crazy RE prices, as well as some of the biggest cities in China. Don't forget the Tulip Mania, and that was just for flowers.
Lots of corrupt people today floating on vast sums of money and credit. $400 grand isn't all that much for a property with land.

Personally, I think our country is done.
None of the three branches of government are operating properly and it appears they are all completely corrupt.
I used to think that when people said it all needs to be torn down and start over they were wrong, but now I believe it. It is so corrupt in every way and the entire core of it is based on cheating and stealing from the people. It is rotted from the inside. And it really makes me very sad.

If my recollection of history is correct, I think there are a few examples of this happening in recent history. The military gets sick of what the politicians are doing, take over, clean house, then start the democratic process all over again.
I just never thought I'd see America fall to her knees in my lifetime, but the left is doing everything they can to make it happen.

My read of the current situation is based on my faith, and my prayer time, and I have to say that is a brutal and savage judgment on America. I'm sorry but if you look at what God has done to other nations, who are, more or less, doing the same kind of

I see a Tsunami of bad stuff headed our way. I see a President who is now implementing EVIL on a scale beyond my comprehension at times. And I hear, again in my quiet time with God, that we have, the USA has, been handed over to our enemies, and the shield of the Holy Spirit is down, and we are naked and open to our enemies.
Do any of us here really not expect a savage and brutal judgment on ANY society that has pushed the Transgender agenda as fast and as openly as Bideypoop has this last week. Besides giving confused children, who think they are gender neutral access to our public school bathrooms, and now openly allowing transgenders to serve in our military. I mean do we not think that has consequences?
America is going down. It is going down hard. God tells me not to pray for America to be saved. We are long past that. I can't even guarantee my own personal survival at this point. When the most popular preacher in the USA is that prosperity clown Joel Osteen, why would anybody think America has a shot to survive, much less thrive.

Reality: of course there is but it requires nationwide repentance, humility, leadership to make the hard decisions (everyone's ox is going to get gored) and discipline. So yes, it's possible but it requires the Father's intervention.
I'm of the opinion that He's pretty well had enough and is letting things take their natural course, but there are plenty of examples where He's changed His mind. I don't feel as if this will be one of those times, but I'd sure like to be wrong.

From the vote, even if you cast out the fraudulent votes, there is still 40 percent of the population (liberals) that does not recognize the problem. And of the other half, call it 45% (conservatives) voted based on purely secular issues.
How can there be "National Repentance" when over half the population does not believe there is anything to repent.

Wherever these groups are active, they will immediately fill power vacuums, treat (and fight) with rival organizations for food, territory, trade goods, women, etc. as well as serve as shock troops for government tyrants who need enforcers and a way to reward them.

Well, General Franco took over Spain and after a life time, a kind of democracy was restored.
And General Pinochet took over (Chile?) but made the mistake of turning over power too soon. They went after him for what he did to drive the Commies out but I think they too have a kind of democracy.
But I don't see any Franco's or Pinochet's wandering around our streets.

We also have a weak, corrupt, President, who at the behest and direction of the CCP, stole America’s last election.
Here we are, without discipline, without direction, and at sword’s point- with each other!
What are we, as a once powerful nation, the one place everyone yearned to emigrate to, do?
First, we need to be cold-bloodedly introspective. See who, and what we are, vis-a-vis the world. Do we have the guts to get the Ship of State off the rocks? Are we willing to fight to the death, for what we know is right?
Secondly, if there is a national resolve, then we need stalwart, honest, fighters- who do not follow stupid rules or leaders, who will fight to win.
Thirdly, we clean house. All the bullshit gets thrown-out, including those who are not willing to assimilate to the American US Constitution. Adherence to unambiguous laws, and corrupt judges lobbyists, and politicians must cease. Such vermin must not be tolerated.

I believe it will be violent, but I also think the death toll will be tied to when it happens. these deaths dont include any from fighting.
think its it was going on right now, we had almost a foot of snow yesterday, mabye28 degrees for a high today. in this weather, many will die just from the cold if power is interupted, you can barely forrage for anything to eat, and not able to grow stuff,
in spring. weather should allow better chances, warm enough a small fire will keep you warm, things are starting to grow, you can plant a garden ( i expect everyone here reading this to already have seeds,) but it will be awhile till you can harvest anything,
summer heat will effect many people, you have the problem of water, to water garden, to drink. my air conditioner went out a few years ago, took a few days to get fixed, but was able to sleep in basement, was cool enough down there, but I also had a fan on,
then you have deaths from people not able to get daily medicine, just normal stuff like blood pressure meds,
all these deaths will be added to those fighting, but the fighters will be included in deaths from this stuff to.

No flames from this quarter, OA; I agree with Dozdoats. Sadness and tears indeed, but more importantly resolve. Since we've each been called into this awareness of where we've been headed as a society, it's up to each of us to accept the call and don the mantle of bringing ourselves - and others who we can - through this until our calling has been accomplished. And the really important thing which needs to be front and center in our minds is the objective: That is what do we want this place - which we've been given - to be when it's all said and done.

I have plenty of flames, but those are kept for the enemy, not dear ones. We have a multi-arrayed problem. We will deal with a foreign usurper nation, a plague or two, nuclear war is not out of the realm of possibility, either. Is an actual invasion in the cards?
Someone has to stand up, present the data and the facts, and begin to address the GSM as just another enemy in a long list of them. One day soon, the Long Year will be upon us and the cold times will take their toll. With the "leaders" we have now- we have no chance. No one is seriously speaking of ways to harden our infrastructure, or increase food production in the governments of the world. Just a few die-hards out here in the hinterlands raising alarms. Not nearly enough.
The country as we knew Her perished years ago, we just refused to see it. Events will accelerate soon enough and seeing it will be unavoidable.
