An Indonesian fisherman claims he saw missing flight MH370 falling into the sea “like a broken kite” while insisting he recorded the exact location of the crash.

The Malaysian Airlines flight vanished on March 8, 2014, after taking off from Kuala Lumpur - sparking one of the greatest aviation mysteries of all time.

Rusli Khusmin, 42, says he and his crew witnesses the crash and recorded the co-ordinates of where the doomed jet entered the water on a GPS device.

Mr Khusmin says the aircraft went down in the Strait of Malacca – a narrow shipping lane, west of Kuala Lumpur, where Malaysia Airlines lost contact with MH370 close to Phuket island, Thailand.

The fisherman, who held up a map to show reporters where he claims the plane entered the water, described seeing the aircraft falling without a sound.

In a news conference in Subang Jaya, Malaysia, he said: “I saw the plane moving from left to right like a broken kite.

“There was no noise, just black smoke as a result of fires before it crashed into the water.”

He added that there was a strong smell of acidic fumes in the air before the plane smashed into the sea.

The 42-year-old did not explain why he had waited nearly five years to report his story to authorities.

I'm still of the opinion that it was commandeered.

I expect that that the word(s) translated as acidic fumes may have other possible translations. From the fisherman's language/dialect to the reporter's to English by someone who is not a native English speaker could result in an error.

I mean, I suppose an Indonesian fisherman might not be glued to the TeeVee or internet, but that was a massive, international story for months, and then again, brought back when supposed "debris" or whatever was found that someone thought might be from MH370. How in the world could he see the crash, note it as so notable that he recorded the GPS coordinates... and then not tell ANYone?

Something more than his catch is fishy here...

He may have been fearful. Or it may have been a case he did not have the contacts or funds, or knowledge that what he recorded and saw was that important. Some folks have no tv or internet nor do they use it much at all...

I witnessed an orb this scale behaving the same way as it was trailing a white jumbo with a red tail in August 2001.
I had my incredible Sony camera and pulled over to record the situation and it was when my camera stopped working.

The day I saw this was the day I also saw a massive event occur over Atlanta that was scrubbed from FTP on GOES.
I got home and grabbed a single image(NOT a screen shot but a URL.) from GOES and sent it to Kent Steadman, Rayelon, Kim Weber, and Sxxxxxxm.
Sxxxx was the only one to receive it and her computer was fried as was mine three days before 9-11.

Yahoo scrubbed the email from my account and then yahoo ATE MY ENTIRE EMAIL ACCOUNT and destroyed it... and it was not a quiet account..
