MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Two people were arrested Monday after Indiana State Police say they were caught with $2 million worth of narcotics originating from Memphis.

Ester Osegueda, 32, and Adam Lopez, 27, were pulled over in a Chrysler van by Indiana State Police on Interstate 70. Authorities said there were some indicators of criminal activity and the vehicle was searched, leading to the discovery of 134 pounds of crystal methamphetamine and 90 pounds of fentanyl.

Investigators said the drugs originated in Memphis and were being transported to Indianapolis, Indiana.

Both suspects were charged with dealing narcotics, a felony.

Let's Go Brandon!
Was checking the board, before hitting the ole sack for the night.

Thank The Most High for LEO. They are protecting us from such
evil people, as the ones that were transporting these drugs.

I listen to several police scanners daily, and the tempo has definitely increased.

Please be safe everyone. Realize that the end is now here.

Regards to all.

Hope they enjoy prison, because that's where they're going to spend the next 20 years.

The drugs they were hauling carry a stiff mandatory prison sentence as well as a huge monetary fine.

Another set of those poor illegals the Harris/Biden demon-crat administration has opened the border who only want a better life. /sarcasm off

The drug gangs are getting even richer because of this cr*p being inflicted upon the citizens of this country by the Demon-crats and to d*m many of the RINO's. My gut tells me that several someone's in politics are getting huge bribes and kick backs for them to fight so hard to open the borders they way they have.

It's not just drugs, there are thousands of humans trafficked for forced labor and sexual exploitation once in the states.

How dark is the souls of the politicians who have to know the human costs of their actions, openly lie about it and have created the open borders crisis?

Take them, their vehicle and the drugs and build a HUGE bonfire and burn the lot. Easy peasy......saves millions of taxpayer dollars.

They've had their first court appearance in Hendricks County. He has all the same charges except for the Failure to Signal.

If you want to stop the drug trafficking then you're going to have to make the punishment not worth the risk.

Simple. Get caught red handed with the "stuff" and there is no trial, (why would they need one, they got caught RED HANDED) do not pass go, don't collect $200 dollars, just send them straight to the executioner, and don't make it easy or painless, but make it certain, and public.

We need to make it such that if someone is in any way shape or form involved in drug manufacturing, packaging, transportation, sales...anything, it is an automatic death sentence WITHOUT appeal. No plea deals. No mercy. No hesitation. If you deal with drugs you die.

That might seem cold and harsh, but considering the lives they destroy. The damage they do on so many levels....not really all that harsh.

While I'm thrilled this crap won't make it to the streets, these two are just two small fish. They are convicted and spend time in the big house (at tax payer's expense). No biggie for the illegal drug machine. They will quickly find two more to take their place.

When the ship springs a leak, you start to bail. But if the leak is big enough, it won't matter how much or how quickly you toss that bucket of water over the side, you'll go down. You have to stop this leak at the border. Unfortunately, our border is wide open because of the fake Resident in the WH.

I believe that method worked in the Phillipines

This is from her case; his bond is set at $35,000 cash. They both have enough money to hire their own attorneys. Seems like they would be a bit of a flight risk.

Order Issued
VIDEO COURT. State appears by Deputy Prosecutor Brian Woodard. Defendant advises they will hire counsel. Omnibus date and Pretrial set for 6-16-21 at 10:00 a.m. Bond set at $25,000.00 cash. Order issued. Order for Discovery issued. Order on Pretrial Supervision issued.

What if you drilled another hole in the boat to let the water out?

So the story says Chrysler van. They only make mini vans.
That pile of drugs would have been clearly visible as something in that van. Its not fitting in the hole for the spare tire.
If the cop that started the traffic stop was barney fife he would have noticed something weird.

Indiana is done fooling around. The cops have stepped it up big time chasing IL thugs crossing the border. We are having 2 to 4 chases a day now with multiple arrests using multiple agencies. They have worked something out with IL agencies to continue the chases across the border back into Illinois. Illinois cops get called off the chase but Indiana cops Charlie Mike.

If all the seats are in their upright position then there is a sort of tub in the back for luggage. There are also some small spaces under the middle seats you can put some stuff into. The spare tire for a chrysler pacifica, new one made since 2017, is inside in the back on the driver's side of the vehicle and if there is no spare tire then there are some little storage cubby holes molded into the wall instead.

No clue if they just had things in boxes or duffel bags or whatever. Don't care. Concur with those who said more will take their spot and that goes for mules and drugs.

He bonded out:
05/03/2021Cash Bond Entered in Clerk's Office

So did she:
Hendricks Cash Bond
Amount
$25,000.00
Status
05/03/2021 - Cash Bond Received by Clerk

In addition, she assigned the cash bond to her attorney and the court granted her motion to travel out of state and telephonic meetings. Probably has a poor, sick mother to take care of.
I wonder if the court let them have the vehicle back.

That's a problem.

Are these suspects even American citizens?

SOMEBODY "in charge" is NOT serious about the level of dangerous illegal drugs pouring into our country - likely manufactured by outside/non-U.S. sources.

War, by other means.

Illegals or peoples that are not USA citizens are much more free while their in the USA and our judicial system much more lenient on foreigners than tax paying citizens.

Citizens are taxed and controlled more because they have your number in more ways than one.
