Iconic Easter Island statues damaged in wildfire
I call BS, BS, BS. I've watched more than a few videos of this "event". All the statues still have green grass around them. There are NO trees in Easter Island quarry, only grassy fields. I've seen a lot of field burns...they wouldn't cause "irreparable" damage like they are reporting. The park just opened in August after a 2 year closure because of covid...lol....
I can't think of any reason why they would want the park closed....it certainly isn't because of damage to the Moai...there is no damage. Another crazy day in our "new" world. What are they playing at?
