SO I buy a 50 lb bag of hydrated lime every year. I use it to whitewash the coop and around the garden. I also like having it around in case I need to make a Bordeaux mixture for blight and for preserving eggs if i need to . Problem is it goes bad in the air. I am trying to figure out some sort of long term storage of it. I am thinking about breaking it down into smaller Mylar bags with an O2 absorber and ironing them shut. Worth a shot?
