POL Hundreds in Publishing Industry Sign Letter to Block Trump Book Deals

No.

85% of my published sales are ebook, and the publisher gets 40% of net from the vendors.

I self-pub as ebook and POD paperbook through Ingram. There are slightly less physical book sales due to the cost of the paperback, but I make more money because I get 100% of the payment from vendors.
Never thought of e-books because I grew up with real books and can not imagine people looking at squiggles on a screen. My bad.

Hope Trump can make it work. I might break down and try one myself.

Neither here nor there.
What you need to know about the publishing industry is that most smaller publishing houses are owned by just a handful of larger publishing houses and/or corporations now. Just like the MSM, there's one or two marxists pulling all of the strings, if the little guy disagrees they get cancelled. The same thing has happened in the art/design licensing world, and to some extent fashion - I mention that last one because Ivanka had a design line/house at one point.
