Pureblood Forever
About 3 weeks ago I did an online order with Mendards. Now I've been using Menards for our homes, well, forever. Their online services suck the big one on their best day, I do nothing but check pricing on their site. Desperate times call for desperate measures. I needed to do some pre-winter caulking around the house. The caulk I wanted, nothing special just happens to be 'cedar' colored but a very common brand name/compound. I attempted to order 7 tubes online for delivery about a month ago (not a tube to be found in any store near me). After three weeks of not a word, I checked, they cancelled the order and Menards being the worthless piles of steaming bovine scat they are, never bothered to inform me. Shocked I tell ya!

So fine, figured they couldn't handle a quantity of a mere 7, ok, reordered four, FOUR!!!. A week later, they email me and say it's shipped 'in full'. Yeah. Box arrives on time, guess what, only TWO. Yeah. Strongly worded email :D goes to 'customer service', because there is no phone number to call. Asses. Next day they actually email me back, apologize, send pic's please (box was destroyed upon me picking it up) and they'll take care of it. No word for 4 days, finally they get a hold of me.

Here's where the reality sets in:

In the email letting me know the new status, the rep is having issues sourcing TWO tubes of common caulk in Medard's $10+ billion dollar system. Bad time's a comin. Thankfully, I was able to get the job done with the first two, but I'll take the second two for touch ups and re-caulks next fall.

Yes, Menards still sucks, but this caulk will get me through for a number of years and then I'll just go with whatever is out there come that time (least of my worries).

If ya need it.....damnit Jim - GET IT.

Shipping is back logged on both coats because of Biden's vaccine mandates. Workers are refusing to get the vax.
