This is pretty much my thinking also. You don't get out of China without them knowing--there is no way. I don't believe
that she was able to slip through. Also, what kind of Chinese person would leave their family to be tortured and possibly killed? Doubtful as their families are everything. After being interrogated by the US, why would they just let her go on and start being interviewed by the media?
No, I think she was sent here to cause fear and panic, with the full support of the Democrats. I think they want us to be afraid enough to continue the lock downs and to accept other oppressive measures they're putting into place.
I just don't believe her.
Yeah, so many variables. I guess it's possible that her family all died of covid or is part of the CCP and she just gave up caring, but it is very suspicious.

Politicians require a problem so they can appear to be solving something, without solving it. So politics may be an equal problem to Covid 19. You are under the impression some simple rules will solve the problem, rules these same politicians are pushing. That is a problem. Are wearing masks the rules you are wanting to follow?

I have always believed that the first lab release of CoVid19 was accidental, that the lab was working to create a harsher bio-weapon. That may be what she is talking about. If they continue to refine the virus, and create a vaccine for their own citizens, and then release the next version intentionally.
Maybe not,now that their carriers can't freely travel.They will have to have a plan B,spread it some other way.
We know everything else the Dem's, Deep State, whatever, did, didn't work to screw things up in DC (including Trump Presidency)...so they brought out the big guns. And, by golly, just in time for us to start thinking about the election. Is it politics? Is it something else? Who knows.
What we DO know is that the Dem's and their BFF, China, had plans somewhere along the lines to really screw the US, and it's people. They have no problem pulling out all the stops to get what they want, when they want it. Doesn't matter how many get sick. How many die. How many children, elderly, to them, it doesn't matter. Power and money is all they want...and we're nothing to them but peons. They don't care about anyone or anything outside of their little realms and people like us are just in their way anyway, so why not just tear everything down and build it back up the way they want it.
Is this Hong Kong virologist telling the truth? Are ANY of these "outside" sources so wanting to "tell us the truth" actually telling the truth? We're all smart enough to put two and two together...doesn't mean we come up with the exact right answer to all of this, but we're rounding in to home base. Since the first round of this stuff didn't quite accomplish what "they" wanted, you bet your sweet bippy they have the next charge loaded and ready to go at a moments notice. Oh, and it just happens to be right around the time of the next flu season, if I have all my ducks in a row. Now, just how bad will this next flu season be? One of the worst on record? If so, then combine that with covid, which seems to be not going away anytime soon.
What "it" is, none of us have any idea, but we know it's coming. The signs are all around us so we wait, and we watch, and we read and we think...and we prepare our families, and we prepare ourselves.
Do I lose sleep over this? No. It gets discussed in this house everyday but not with fear and panic...that accomplishes nothing. I get my list back out and think what's next on the list to get before it's gone. You all have probably done the same thing and the list never seems to get any shorter, does it?
I thank the good Lord for TB2K...it put me and my family 10 steps ahead of the crowd before the crowd even knew what was coming and starting panic buying...and I'm not being smug about it. I look at it as being blessed.
At this stage, all we can do is keep on doing what we're doing until we can't do it any more. I see this fall and winter, my logic, as being something we've not seen before in our lifetimes. Over and over, I keep reading, hearing "this fall" and I don't believe in coincidences. Our days of trying to warn others in our families and friends is over...my plate, every day, is already full and I won't argue with a fool...who, then, is the bigger fool?
We know the good Lord wins in the end, but some days it's just a booger to get through and on to the next.
And, just for the record, take my opinion with a grain of salt...

It starts with, not shutting EVERYTHING down but with a true honest QUARANTINE!!
We now have REASONABLY reliable testing, so if someone tests POSITIVE they MUST, no wiggle room, no adjustments "because", be placed in a quarantine situation. If in your own home, you don't LEAVE that home until you have been cleared. Not out in the yard or "just down the street to the drug store or restaurant or grocery store". IN THE HOUSE. If you need food, then if you have family NOT RESIDING WITH YOU they can deliver food to you outside your door, and make sure you get it. B-b-b-but mah RITES!!! Your infection eliminates them until you are infection-free.
George Takei pointed out that he had grown up in a Nisei concentration camp, and he heard WAY more kvetching this last 6 months here than he did as a kid. We have apparently become a nation of wusses unable to see past the ends of our own nose in terms of the social contract.
You quarantine the sick, not "lock down everybody" except for a quick trip to the grocery store AND Walmart with the kids, etc.

Just thought I'd throw this out--my in-laws are from China. They got out after Tienanmen Square. My FIL was one of the professors who helped organize the protest at the university; my MIL went door-to-door asking for money to buy food for the protestors.
My FIL fled over the border, alone. He made it to Thailand, where he applied for political asylum at the US Embassy. My ex, the oldest son, went to Japan around that time. I'm sketchy on the timing, but I think he had already left before the whole thing went sideways. My FIL made it to the US and applied for my MIL and their second son, still a minor, to be allowed entry. It took until 1996 for my ex to make it to the US.
Not saying the doctor snuck out, but I am saying it's possible.
That said, I think she probably met with US officials within days of landing. I'm sure she's already been interviewed.

Just a quick note, the coronavirus in the actual study published in Nature that is referenced in the linked post was seasonal coronavirus--the common cold, not SARS-CoV-2. Also, only about 50% of the people in the study were confirmed via PCR to be infected with anything.
From the referenced study (found at Respiratory virus shedding in exhaled breath and efficacy of face masks):
"Viral RNA was identified from respiratory droplets and aerosols for all three viruses, including 30%, 26% and 28% of respiratory droplets and 40%, 35% and 56% of aerosols collected while not wearing a face mask, from coronavirus, influenza virus and rhinovirus-infected participants, respectively (Table 1b)."
Remember that the viral RNA collected would have only been present in about 50% of the people anyway, which means it was likely expelled in fairly high percentages of those patients with confirmed infections.

The original article doesn't indicate that she has insider info on Chinese govt. plans but it hints that she knows something about the nature of the virus that she must think western scientists have figured out yet. If so why not blurt it out? Is she perhaps wanting witness protection program status in exchange for the info? Or has the US Govt. not asked her for it yet? The other odd thing is why didn't Bill Hemmer seek elaboration on that comment?

If I remember correctly, decades ago I remember reading about a (natural?) disease that acts like a TWO PART KILLER. If you got and survived ONE STRAIN of the disease, later getting a different strain of the disease made you much less likely to survive the second encounter with it. I believe you became immune to the strain you survived but I could be mistaken about that.
The disease I am talking about is DENGUE (Also called “breakbone fever”). (Painful) I haven’t read about it in 30 Years so I am now going to search the internet and see if I remember correctly. If that is true, maybe something was borrowed from some disease like that to create Covid 19?

Not human to human transmissable unless someone in your close (like housemates ) circle is infected and a mosquito bites them and THEN bites you. It has occurred in the past in Hawaii (2015), Florida (2013), & Texas(2013), and in Puerto Rico, American Samoa, the Virgin Islands.
No specific treatment!
