REVOLVERS CAN JAM ALSO. And when a revolver jams - either from recoil moving a bullet forward in the case, backing a primer out of its pocket, or a squib load... it is REALLY jammed. Semiautos are easier to clear as a rule, except for squibs.
Had a 686 jam due to a grain of unburned powder underneath the extractor. I’ll always love good revolvers, but they aren’t perfect. And in the current climate, I am much less confident about needing only 5 or 6 rounds to settle a situation.
