Homemade grain grinder?

Has anyone made a grain grinder? I have a small handcrank type from y2k but I know that would be really tough on my arms and hands. Would love a country mill but dont have the $.

I have a wondermill jr and it's wonderful. I got it instead of CLGM because we are gluten free and needed the grind stones as well as the burrs. So far I haven't had any complaints at all.
