Misc Help Finding a Story

I read a story awhile ago I thought was Kathy's. It was about a family that was fleeing from the collapse of a huge aquafir underneath the middle of the U.S. If I remember correctly, they were going to a cabin elsewhere to start over. I cannot remember much more, but wanted to read the story again.

I cannot remember much more, but wanted to read the story again.

I remember that story, it is not by Kathy. It starts out with them fleeing the collapse of the aquifer, and making it to their summer/bug out home a couple of states away and to the north. Then they have to set up a full homestead, as the rest of the country slowly realizes that TS has HTF.
I would like to reread it too!
