I just discovered this guy on IG. He is @robbybenson there and Rob Benson on FB. His videos are great! They are short, practical and to-the-point with no fearmongering. Great for the newbie prepper and good reminders for the rest of us. He’s mentioned a couple of things that we hadn’t thought of.

If I was to suggest survivalist ideas to a audience that wanted real productive and usefull survivalist skills and info....

Get your hunting and fishing licenses, and fish and trap/hunt, gather as often as you can. Do not hire a butcher and learn it all. Then use your electrical and duct tapes to help fix your wounds from gutting, skinning and butchering or from busting the brush to get to the honey spot. And then add packaging or freezer tape to the list.

Having recently experienced Shingles...let me say that EVERY household should own 6 tubes of "Alocane" from Amazon.

It is 4% lidocaine with aloe vera! Can be used for burns and other skin irritations!

And have items to treat a toothe ache like clove oil.
