Food Globs of frozen cheese

I have cheese in the freezer that has gotten globby, it strated out shredded. Is there any hope to break it down?

Let it thaw, and re-shred?

When it sticks together like that, we just use it in a casserole. Sometimes when it all clumps together in the bottom of the bag, I will just throw it to the chickens.

Make lots of mac and cheese and have quick and easy meals

I don't throw out good cheese. If mine gets globby, I take it out of the freezer, let it thaw, then re-shred. Spread it all out on a cookie sheet, and put it back in the freezer till frozen. Bag it back up in a freezer storage bag, and back in the freezer it goes. If the globs are small, I take those out, and re-shred as needed in a recipe. No different than buying blocks of cheese that have to be shredded.
