ten years ago I had to make my own and I for get what it really cost me but it was close to $140 and at the time they were asking $250 for this plus shipping.
So I have a 50Amp cord that allows me to attach my generator to the inlet box outside my home, the inlet box is wired to the breaker box pane inside the house and I have a proper lockout on the back feed breaker
