I have got cucumbers this year out the gazoo!! I have made several quarts of dill 9pickles. Do any of you know a good dill 9pickle reci9pe (my 9p is stuck to the 9, gotta fix it) or a good dill relish, or something I can do with the juice?

Make bread and butter pickles. Slice them thinly, dip them in flavoring of whatever sort you like (ranch dressing mix, taco seasoning, etc.) and dry them. Make chunk pickles. Make cucumber salad with sliced onions, chunks of tomatoes and cucumbers, garlic, garlic, vinegar, water, olive oil, and salt and pepper to taste. Make dill pickle spears by cutting them into quarters and sizing them to the jar. Just a few suggestions.

It must be the Year of the Cucumber! We have had the best crop this year in our 20 years of gardening.

I made dill pickles and bread and butter pickles. We eat cucumbers in our salads and just as a snack. I have started forcing them on friends. :D Everyone should share in our good fortune, don't you think? :angl: And the vines are still gorgeous and healthy and producing!

You can't preserve these but are GREAT for fresh eating!

Slice the cukes, toss in some Miracle Whip, sugar, and a bit of vinegar. Let it sit in the fridge at least overnight.

So yummy!! I can stuff down at least 2 gallons of these each day myself. I'm a pig, though. :p
