I heard about a shipping company that was finding new creative uses for retired pallets.

Yeah they figured out how to compress the wood that it was better than kevlar and their security was armored. Everyone kept calling them palletins.

Well they did say it was a crate place to work. It always stayed busy there so you never got board.

And the real main plank of working there was that your retirement was nailed down.

I'm on a search for smaller ones with the boards pretty close together. I'm building a boardwalk down to the chicken coop. The place I was getting them at moved. I plan on coating them in used motor oil to keep them from deteriorating as fast. They'll be placed as steps down to the gate. It will be easy to sweep snow off and a sure place to walk there.
