Hope all is well. We have a side by side 4x4 ATV we use with our son. What is the best treatment to keep in it. Have been using Seafoam but wondering is there something better. Thanks.

Have always used sea foam in everything. Generators, splitter, trucks, snowmachine, boat motors etc etc.

Never any fuel issues with any of my machines. Got 9738 miles on my Foreman. Only repairs are front knuckles, left rear bearing, starter, solenoid and battery, and electric fuel pump. It’s a 2012. Still uses no oil. I do like Stabil as well if it’s going to sit for a while but the longest any of our machines go unused is the snowmachine over the summer.
We top it off before parking and add Stabil.

We use only non ethanol premium in every thing. Carbon build up is not a good thing for small engines. It costs more but when you depend on your machines day in day out I do everything I can to keep them living a long time and so far we get high mileage out of everything.

I use Seafoam and Pri-G and Pri-D. Never had a problem with my farm equipment and small engines. Seafoam utilized at the start of the season. Additional Pri even if treated before for the fuel... every fill up.

All fuel ethanol free even though it costs more. I utilize the Doc1 theory on fuel storage, and have done so for years. I've utilized gasoline four years old with Pri-G and Seafoam without any damage or performance issues in my small engines.

I use sea foam for my gas, and hot shots diesel addictive for my work trucks. For my gasoline drums I pour sea foam in them too.

Used Seafoam in the bikes and Stabil for 2strokes like chainsaws. Marine Stabil was great, too, once I discovered it.

I run non-ethanol gas in all my small engines, including wheelers.
Hard learned lesson for sure.

I put PRI-G in anything that will be sitting for a while too.

I've used Seafoam in my motorcycles that would sit for a couple of months. But for long term storage, and for fuel preps, I use Star Tron fuel treatment. Was recommended by a boat motor mechanic in Galveston, was all they used. I have some gasoline in 15 gallon drums that once sat for near two years, still ran fine in the garden equipment and 4-wheelers.

Startron, my boat mechanic and another atv mechanic both said seafoam is great when needed, but can be harsh on diaphragm and stuff in the carbs for everyday use.

So I use star tron in non-ethanol gas, if I do that I don't need to break out the seafoam

If it sits a lot and not getting used enough I would go with a fuel stabilizer and double dose it and put a valve in the fuel line so he can run the gas out of the carb if it has one.
