Mountain house is good stuff. Not sure how you would feel about it, but I review a ton of survival food and gear on YouTube, if you want I could give you a shoutout when I do a taste test on this entrée?

I received my Breakfast Skillet sampler in the mail yesterday, and had it for breakfast this morning. I used my keurig to add the hot water and it worked great. It was a 2.47 oz freeze dried pouch that works out to about 10oz when done. In a survival situation, I could have eaten half and been fine. The sodium content is high, which would make half better, but I ate the whole thing anyway. It was good tasting, so I could see myself choosing this one as a meal. A definite buy. And of course this is the first mountain house I have eaten too, and I have purchased a stock of them over the years. It was time to eat. Thank you safecastle for great years of service and the sampler too.

Thank You! I received the Breakfast Skillet in the mail today, DH is excited to try it. Unfortunately, it contains dairy products that I cannot eat without severe problems.

Got the chili mac, I have always liked that and the lasagna both as a couple of my favorites. Thank you for sending these out.

When I was coaching football, we would use a lot of Mountain House for quick lunches for the guys we'd taken to football camps in Palmer and Fairbanks. Add a bunch of pasta and some jars of spaghetti sauce in a big pot over a Coleman grill to stretch the meals (and increase carbs for energy) there'd be more than the guys could eat in just a few minutes!
