Coupon Code: FREEMEMTIME

What are benefits of Membership:
  • Buyers Club Memberships are ONLY for U.S. Residents
  • Allows you to receive the special pricing and incentive offers that all Safecastle members enjoy for life!
  • It means FREE standard shipping to the lower 48 all the time on everything we sell.
  • It also gets you first crack at our special limited-quantity product offerings and freebie deals that come through on a regular basis.
  • Today, that means up to 20%-off most of our list prices and even off our sale prices (except Mountain House cans and Lindon Farms food--for which prices are strictly regulated by the manufacturers.)

Notes:

1. Just registering for the site does not get you the special, member-only pricing. You must register on the site, AND purchase this membership through the shopping cart. After making the membership purchase, you may need to allow a bit of time before "seeing" the members pricing, as the membership setup is a manual process. (One membership per household.)

2. To be clear--please make the membership purchase first and do not include other items in that initial transaction if you want the member discount on your purchased items. Wait till you are recognized as a buyers club member (you will receive an email that says, "Membership Completed").

3. By becoming a buyers club member, you are added to the club email list. We send you emails periodically to advise of special club member opportunities, sales, freebies, etc. You can opt out any time by clicking unsubscribe at the bottom of those emails. If you prefer not to be added to the list at all, simply comment as such in the checkout process when you purchase this membership.

This free membership comes in handy over the course of the year. I don't order a lot, but when I do, the membership saves money.

Otherwise, I have no relationship with Safecastle, so take it for what it is, just my experience. I signed up for free last year.

So, I signed up as a member (thanks for the free of charge). Now I am perusing the site wondering what to get first. I mean, my pantry is full of canned goods and grains and sugar, etc. But this is a whole new ballgame. How do we know if we will like the taste? Or is it a matter of if you are at the point you have to use your Safecastle storage taste does not matter survival does. I totally don't mean that as an insult I really don't know.

I was looking at the Mexican Rice & Chicken and the Breakfast Skillet. Maybe the Chili Mac.

Hi Annie,

I'll tell you what I did first. (This was last year when I signed up). Safecastle had a great deal on Mountain House cans, so I finally broke down and bought two cases of Pilot Bread crackers. I'd been eying them for years - as a take-along deal for camping or hunting , or just for eating with soup and such at home when there is no time to bake someday if things get tough.

Today, I was racking off some new wine, and decided that for lunch, I wanted to try it "green" with a little sausage and cheese - but I had no crackers! I thought of this thread and remembered that I had never tried those Pilot Bread crackers. So...I just opened a can of them. They sure are pretty things. Not a one broken. Nice thick crackers (50 calories each) not coated with salt like saltines. Actually, just a hint of sweet taste - or else it's sweet wheat that is used in the baking. They are crisp and tasty, they break in half nicely, a little "tooth" to them, but not hard at all. I'm very pleased. Definitely a good thing to have laid back.

The wine isn't bad, either. ;)

Annie, if you search you should be able to find my threads on food product reviews. The great majority of them were foods obtained from Safecastle.
