So doing some On;ine shopping I have noticed several places giving Option.

Delivery for X amount, Curbside Pickup and...FREE In-store pickup.

Really? Because I am going to drive to Your store, grab a shopping cart. wwander around looking for stuff THEN pay Extra?

Only a Cuck falls for that sort of vrsp.

Free in-store pickup is generally when the store has to have the item brought in from elsewhere or if they have it they will have it held for you at customer service.
Maybe but, in 3 diffeent stores I am using their App to tally totals for multiples of a product I am looking at while in the store and the product is sitting there piled high, I doubt 'Needing it brought in' is the situation.

I'm pretty sure you will not be paying extra if you do that. Nobody around here even charges for curbside pickup. It's only extra if they deliver or ship. Maybe it's different where you live.

It is actually kind of convenient. Order online and then go to customer service and grab it. No fighting thru the store or being tempted. Just grab the order and go
Actually I am considering Curbside-why even go into Customer Service?

"Yeah, tell her to bring it to my Jeep an' she better be wearing a miniskirt and be on Rollerskates!" :D

'But Sir, it is 30 2x4's and 9 sheets of plywood...'

"Guess she'll have ta make a buncha trips huh? Be sure them skates are oiled!"

I’m confused a cuck is generally a man who defers to another man ruling over his wife. What does this have to do with shopping. Insanity seems more appropriate here.

Oh Insanity is fine too. Believing this when reading it made me think of a Cuck. Sort of like the sign says "Unleaded 3.99.99 a gallon" So [eple think it's $3 and change. $4 plus tax is better and try to go get you .00.10 change back.

Got it, I think the word you may be thinking of, which is the best suited, is cowed which applies to everyone who has been forced into this form of shopping. We’ve yet to do the order online and then do the pick up, because of fees they charge, and then they expect that we tip the workers on top of that, ummm yeah not going to participate in that madness.

I've done ship to store then curbside pickup at Tractor Supply. I pulled up at the greenhouse, a lovely lady came out to see what was what, I told her I had a pickup order, I gave the receipt I printed out, she ran (literally) back into the store jabbering on her radio, dude came out to the car with the stuff I bought online earlier that day.

So I did "ship to store" AND "curbside pickup" all at once. Because? I'm a badass.

It's not hard.

I use it all the time. That way I don't have to go inside the damn store. People are irritated more and more these days. I'm not trying to carry what I'm going through plus peoples shit attitude at the store. I've started listening to my gut a lot more too.

Makes one wonder at the new year when people don't have anything to look forward to. Yes?

And that is when they send the female forklift driver out, wearing the Rollerskates (which should NOT be worn while using a forklift...), and she comes out and puts the 30 2x4's in the back part of your jeep, sideways, and then stacks the 9 sheets of 3/4" ply on top, straps all of it down 50 ways to Sunday and then thinks about your options of getting all that back off once you get home...

And then you saw the back of her T-shirt as she drove back into the store...

At least she strapped it down. I will tell you the story of how I had 12 sheets of 1" Marine plywood the people loaded on my trailer and did *not* strap it down and my return trip there Orlando's rush hour traffic some day.

Right. The store is doing the shopping and check out for you. The stores near me just require a call letting them know you have arrived for the pickup. You don't even have to get out of your car; they will bring the groceries out to you and put them in your trunk.

Very convenient.

Humm, a Ship&Rec worker at a former company needed the forklift on an upper floor. Folded up the forks and backed it into the freight elevator, well that was expensive. Another time she had two pallets stacked, balance off and she was right at the edge of the dock. Yep everything teetered and until the forklift was half on/half off the dock. SHE would have worn roller skates if you even jokingly suggested. It gets worst...

I love ship to store and site to store. It has made my life easier in sooo many ways. Grocery shopping and errands now take a lot less time.
Things I have noticed though. Both Lowes amd HD do not list the lower end of their products ranges. About half the grocery stores use Instacart, who marks up the prices. So depending on the need level, I will arrange to go into those stores or skip them altogether.
Although it's expensive, two stores will now deliver to my house. That works for emergencies, like we are sick.
I've got more important and pleasant things to do then spend lots of my time running through stores.

Would that mean "Ship & Wreck"?

I've made a New Years resolution.
Next time I go to WalMart on the monthly trip,
I am going to go online and order the 44 pound of dog food before I go . . .
for curb side pickup.
So that when I arrive, I can pull up and let them load it in the car before I go in shopping.

Now, I need to figure out how to get them to bring it into the house and fill the bins.

Hahahahaha! There's a reason the home improvement places/lumber yards have a tie-down area set aside outside their gates. They don't want to be responsible for your mishaps. It's your circus and your monkeys. ;)
