Figured I may as well say I try to check in every day for free books but I rarely post a thanks.

I have hundreds of books on my kindle to keep me busy and best of all it is not costing me money like the used book stores used to do.

I rolled that money back in the budget, probably in the ammo section but these days money goes so fast it is hard to keep up.

They seem to frequently have the classics these days but I'm not always in a position to post about it - I figured today's haul was perfect either for home school parents or people who just want to have the classics on hand (I got these).

It is a great thing to have now and even though of course e-books would eventually be unreadable in a total collapse; in the more likely partial break down a lot of devices can be recharged and used even without the net as e-book readers.

A few years ago, one day only Amazon had a huge collection of stuff like Tacitus, Plato, The Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire etc and I got all of those too; I confess I haven't had time to read all of them but I have them for reference if I need them.
